  • I have the same thing happen to me now and then but the other way around. I'm from NA and will get paired with Europe if it takes too long to find a match. I don't know if its always been like that but even before dedicated I was still paired with Europeans a lot if it took too long to find a match. It got so bad at one point I started to use BPS whenever I saw green ping since it was so rare, like 1 every 10 games or so.

  • Just had this happen to me tonight but on the opposite end. I was a killer with 3-gens (nearly 4) done against me and only a few hooks to my name. I started to slug because they were huddled together and managed to wrangle a 4k with it. Didn't even do full 4-man slug either; I hooked on the 3rd slug giving the last guy time to get someone up and then rinse and repeated slugging/hooking until they were all dead.

Had two people from the match message me after saying I didn't play fair and was a bad killer. Honestly, they were a pretty good group so it was disappointing seeing them mouth off after losing. Made me chuckle at the same time though as I haven't had hate mail in a while.

  • Most matches are pretty straight forward for me. Find a person, do the looping, hook the person, rinse and repeat until I win or I lose. I just don't get all that stressed anymore, I used to no doubt but the more I play, the less it bothers me. I'm just used to everything the survivors can do so I don't get as stressed when they do them. I've also lost plenty of times by this point so it doesn't really bother me as much.

When I do have a game that stresses me to high heaven for whatever reason, I'll just play a couple meme games. Go around as Ghostface and t-bag people, hide at an exit gate with Noed as Wraith, 50/50 Pig, Mad Grit backpacking, Franklins and trapping/camping items, Bubba's basement, etc. Doing a couple games like that every once in a while where you just have fun and don't actively try to win is pretty stress relieving.

Hell, if even one survivor gives up their item to me or starts to meme in an otherwise serious game, I'll 95% of the time just stop trying and mess around for the rest of it. Treating the game as a game helps a lot to keep me going in it. We're not getting paid to play after all so have fun in anyway you can.

  • I think most killers are in a good place, with some needing minor QoL updates and others needing a bit more. Legion and Bubba are two that come to mind for major changes. I know everyone says Clown is the weakest in the game and while I agree on a fundamental level, I'm awful playing against him so I'm fine with him only having QoL changes. I think mori's should be reworked a bit to require everyone be hooked at least once before using. I think a lot of add-ons should be looked at as well; so many are just absolutely worthless.

I would love to see a way to sell add-ons for half the price, both survivor and killer.

I think survivors are in a fine place as well with some minor things needing changes and maybe some QoL changes. I don't have any issues with Dead Hard, Borrowed, or Adrenaline as they tend to be the most annoying at endgame when you've probably already lost anyway. I don't have issues with DS itself but I think something should be done with the DS into locker play. I think keys should be changed slightly somehow. I would not be opposed to a totem counter if you're a solo player.

Some loops are a bit bs on the survivor side because unless you're playing a certain killer, you auto lose the game if you commit on a god loop. With the breakable walls that should change even if only slightly.

Map sizes are the biggest issue. Take a map like Azarovs which is the most killer sided map in the game. Setup your 3+ gen strat and you can almost guarantee victory with any killer unless you mess up bad or the people are really coordinated. The same applies to other maps as well, the smaller they are the more you have to work with.

A 3-gen strat with Pop/slugging can work for any killer on almost any map and can win games against even the best teams. It's not always possible and sometimes you still lose anyway but the fact you can put up such a fight using such a simple strategy shows killers do have power. Imagine if the gens all spawned a bit closer to each other, games would become a lot more hectic and difficult for survivors. Gens do go quick but simply adding on time would be super boring. Having another kind of secondary objective beside totems might help a bit.

With the PTB, killers and survivors both got a really strong perk with new Sabo and Hangman's. If one gets nerfed, they both should.

Another major issue is Rank. So many times people who are new or just plain bad end up with pros and it just ends up in bullying and complaints. In a perfect world where we were against other people with similar skills and abilities, that would also go quite a ways for balance.

  • Lol what? Just in the last couple days there was like three different nerf Billy threads, a few on Noed complaints, one that thought Scratched Mirror was OP and there's a thread on Franklin's needing a nerf as well. I'm sure I've also missed plenty more.

This forum isn't biased one way or other IMO. Both sides have plenty of people that complain about everything and it just depends on what has happened recently to set them off. A popular streamer had something dumb happen to them, bet your butt 5 different people will makes seperate threads to complain about it. Someone sees a thread they agree/disagree with, let's make a seperate thread talking about that thread instead of just keeping in one place. Had a bad game as either side; time to write a 10 page essay on why this game is crap all without proper spacing or spell checking. The list goes on...

Some people do have legitimate complaints and you can find some nice conversation and debate once in a while. Most people just want to hear themselves talk and find others who agree with them though.

  • PS4 and I agree about the Trapper. I'm just awful about dealing with him and it just stresses me out because I assume he has traps everywhere. Hag and Freddy are second and third least favorites. I just don't like going against trap killers lol. I enjoy playing as them though, minus Trapper as I'm god awful with him.

Favorite killer to go against is Demogorgon. He's a lot of fun to loop and try to dodge is shred attack. I consider him the most balanced killer in the game with having a lot in his arsenal but also having plenty of counterplay. Win or lose I almost always have fun facing Demo-boy. I assume I'll also enjoy going against the new killer; he looks like a ton of fun to play as and against though I worry about how he'll control on console.

I also enjoy going against Nurse, Billy, Huntress and to the surprise of most people, Legion. I don't think I'll ever get sick of just sitting at a pallet and watching a Legion fake attack me 3+ times before finally doing it or just dropping out of power.

  • What lol? It's a meme add-on and not strong at all if people know what they're doing. His movement speed is absolutely trash at 105% making him able to be looped forever and his lunge is so bad he has to be on top of you for the hit. It also requires and indoor map to be effective as any other map in the game makes it worthless.

You only ever see it in lower ranks, it's a miracle if a red rank players uses it.

  • Going from my own console experiences, I'd movie Freddy and Billy up to be with Spirit. Huntress and Oni up a tier, Nurse down a tier and Plague up a tier.

    No opinion on shooty-boy yet.

The way I do tier lists is B is your average level killer, A is an above average killer, S is top tier, C is below average and D is bottom tier.

I find Freddy to be really good on console both playing him and facing him. He has great map pressure, a deceptive lunge, a better clown bottle/fake pallets and some gen slowdown. It's easy to sneak up on people and get free hits as well. I think Spirit is stronger but I think he's in the same tier as her on console.

Billy is such an interesting one. Bad billys are really fun to play against and good Billy's are even funner. His snowball is amazing with a slug build and even without it, he's got good map control and an instadown. Never commit with Billy and if a survivor is being a pain for a bit, bail and get an easier target at a gen. Billy is able to pick and choose targets better than most without losing too much time. Get a 3-gen going with him and Pop and it's pretty much GG. I'd rather face a Doctor 3-gen then a good Billy 3-gen.

I've seen two really really good Nurse players on console, one of which I've faced multiple times. They played fantastic and still lost just because you don't have the same level of control as on PC. If sensitivity is raised then It'd warrant a higher tier but as of now I think she is pretty average even in good hands.

I think Plague is a pretty standard killer all around the board. Not great or bad and with the new buff, I definitely think she is in B with other average joes.

I've seen quite a few fantastic Huntress's able to hit every shot and do some amazing predictions. She's no Spirit but she's definitely above average and better than the others.

Same with Oni. Honestly I want to put him at S. I know people say you can't aim him well on console but I've faced a few that didn't have any problem hitting around loops and keeping up with spins. His early game is rough but he has some of the best snowball in the game and I think he's in the same league as Billy.

Just the same as you, this all just an opinion from my own experiences as both Killer and Survivor. ^_^

  • I'm only at 30 but I've been occupied with other games so once I finish the challenges I drop it for a bit. If I stay on this pace I'll only have to grind 10 levels which doesn't seem to bad as long as I work on it now and then and don't save it for last minute. -_-

If you use the key on a hatch though it will still consume it though. No doubts on that, it would have to. It would only affect the using it to read auras part of it or such, which was never a big concern before anyways since you just stopped using it when it was almost out anyways.

As for the challenges I am sure it will count them when the charges hit 0.

Inb4 this is a huge buff to keys and they don't disappear on use or better yet, Ace in the Hole will now trump the loss of lose this add-on add-ons so you can always have a decked out key for eternity.

  • It'll probably still work the same. Just deplete a key normally except instead of it turning to dust it'll just become unusable. It'll make them easier actually since you'll be able to keep items now.

  • Reddit Link

It's a secret little room you can only get into as Nurse if the basement isn't in the lab. It's got a few things in it including a hint on how to find the Golden toolbox on that map and a reference(?) to Paulie Esther whos done some easter egg hunting in DBD. It's a neat not very well known little easter egg. :)

  • I'm curious about this as well. Monto mentioned in one of his recent videos that he thought it might be related to the big statue or the moaning, thinking it could be something like a spirit or ghost that can only be see with Spirit or Oni.

I assume it's character restricted like the nurse on hawkins easter egg since no one seems to have found anything with it yet.

  • It's a bug that's going around for a lot of people. Rank 9 should have you at 13. They're working on fixing it for next month but as for this month goes, it's basically using the old system for some reason.

  • I posted a Chucky Body Swapping power I thought was kind of neat but I never did any perks to go with it. Survivor would have to be any of the adults from the movies. Probably the mother from the original if given a choice.

    Survivor Perks

Mothers Instinct: You are able to see the aura of any survivor that you take a protection hit for. Healing is increased by 50/75/100% when healing that survivor. You can only have this effect on one survivor at a time.

Call for Help: When you are injured by the killer, your aura is revealed to all survivors for 10/20/30 seconds.

Together We're Stronger: When a Survivor takes a protection hit for you, you acquire one stack of Together We're Stronger. For every stack you gain an increase of 5% to all actions up to 2/3/4 stacks.

    Killer Perks

Wanna Play: One person is randomly chosen to be the obsession. After downing the obsession one survivor within 16/24/32 meters is selected to be the new obsession. When an obsession is switched you can see the new obsessions aura for 4 seconds.

Friends till the End: One person is randomly chosen to be the obsession. When the exit gates are powered, the obsession can not leave the match via door or hatch unless all other survivors are downed, hooked, dead or have already left. The obsession is able to see your aura when you are within 24/20/16 meters

He wants you: One person is randomly chosen to be the obsession. While the obsession is within 4 meters to another survivor, their action speed is reduced by 8/9/10 percent.

I came up these pretty quick with a simple pattern in mind so feel free to critique. They're certainly far from perfect. I'm interested to see what other people come up with. ^_^

  • Here's a video Otz did on survivor sounds. It doesn't have Nancy or Steve unfortunately but it's an interesting little watch.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0aFo4lPARw

Edit: On Topic, Nancy seems like she is a bit quieter. It doesn't seem like she moans in pain as often as Steve does either.

  • I thought you were just joking about being able to still get splinters even though they we're supposed to get rid of them but when I realized it was Freddy's splinter on Freddy it made this much more amusing. :3

  • I'm curious as well. I've seen another thread saying it goes to an hour after 30 minutes but I don't know if it escalates any further than that.

I'm also not sure how long before the punishments deescalate. Some people have said 24 hours to go down one level but I don't know if any devs/staff have given a precise time yet. :/

  • I get where you're coming from and agree, "some" people are complaining without good reason for the dc bans but did you watch the video?

Number 7 is the exact same system DBD uses but Apex's system is more lenient, waiting 3 games before the 5 minute escalating ban while DBD's is right away.

Also, the bans in the video are all very forgiving with gear5 being the worst with year long bans but as the video said, 18 of 21 matches quit for that guy in 1 day. Destiny still let you play the main game, the lowered rank seems to have been a bug for that guy, longer queue times but still playable and can rejoin, getting put with other dcers means you can still play just the same, and just a funny death scene with no consequence for dcer.

That video title is super misleading and clickbaity.

  • I was playing Temtem but I caught up with the alpha so I've just been watching youtube or messing around on the forums.

.io games are still a thing to waste some time in as well. :)

Edit: Thinking on it, I might just boot up an old school pokemon game and do a Nuzlocke challenge between games.

I literally run Inner Strength and Head On. I love lockers. I stay injured until someone gets picked up and then go into the locker so I heal and avoid BBQ at the same time to maximize efficiency.

That's the reason why No ED is bad. It's extremely inefficient to search for all the totems and you can't trust your solo queue teammates to do it if you don't take it upon yourself

So what exactly is your main complaint here before we continue? Totems should be easier to find, you should know the killer has Noed before it's active, totem counter even?

I know you're title says it's unrealistic but I feel you're arguing about something else entirely. Noed has plenty of realistic options to counter it so what exactly is your main complaint then?

  • @gatsby said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1096266#Comment_1096266

Yeah. And I think that's fair.

I'm not swapping Decisive, Inner Strength, Spine Chill or Head On just because there's no way to tell if I killer is running No ED in advance and so I have to cleanse all five totems with little reward just to be sure... which usually means the game doesn't make it to endgame because the amount of time wasted focusing all the totems sandbags my team so No ED wouldn't even come into play

Okay, not to be that guy but this is pretty close to complaining about BBQ aura's but refusing to hide in a locker levels of wow.

You have multiple options available to you for these totems. You don't even have to cleanse them all, just know where they are and check on them after the gens are done instead of going right to a gate. Being able to know the killer is running Noed would make the perk beyond useless, like Saboteur without a toolbox levels of awful.

  • You're on Asarov's and sometimes you'll spawn on the same side as the killer. Not only that but whispers is really common on Huntress so that might be it. Even without whispers, it's a fair chance to find a survivor just by looking around on the same side you spawn on when it comes to this map.

  • Using that 15 minute timeout to troll the forums is what I like to call a pro gamer move lol.

I love posts like these as they're just so fun to read. You covered so many bases as well. Insulted people, brought in politics for no reason, told people to grow up. You're just copy and pasting from the handbook at this point though so I'd try for a little more originality next time.

    Much love. <3

  • It's actually the opposite of auto-aim.

Auto-Aim lets you hit things you otherwise would have missed.

Animation Enhancement as they call it makes you miss things you would have otherwise hit. This is to make the animations smoother and not look awful when you get a hit.

It sucks pretty bad though, especially if it happens a lot. Probably wouldn't care if it was gone but one would have to see what it looks like if it was just removed.

  • I use the same build on Myers that I use on most killers.

Spirit Fury/Enduring/BBQ/Pop I'll switch out BBQ or Pop for Franklins if there is a key or a lot of items as it wastes a little time sometimes. Also watching people turn around, grab their item only to get hit again will never stop being funny to me. Franklins is my guilty pleasure perk though and I wouldn't really recommend it in a serious build.

It's a pretty basic build but it works well enough to cover all your bases on most killers. Pop for gen pressure and is amazing in a 3gen setup, Spirit Fury/Enduring for chasing and BBQ for potential tracking and points. If you don't care about points then I'd switch BBQ for Whispers as I think it's more powerful. You could even use Discordance or Surveillance depending on your preferences.

Myers definitely has some interesting builds you can play on him but I'm no Myers main so I'll leave that to others. ^_^

  • Just RNG doing its thing. Bitter Murmur is a general perk and general perks seem to show up more than others but I don't think they're actually coded like that.

The same thing seems to happen when you get level 1 of a perk, you almost always get level 2 in the next web and level 3 right after.

  • Azarov's is balanced? I think it's the most, potentially only killer sided map in DBD.

On topic, I think I would win a majority of matches against my survivor self mainly because in my mind, average teammates can be pretty awful even at red. So if I ended up leading myself around a bit, I'd end up abandoning myself, killing everyone else and leaving me for last or until I'm in a worse spot. If I escape, it'll probably be from hatch. I would certainly win some games against my killer self but there is so much that goes into determining that and if my teammates are what I normally play with, then I lose more matches then I win as survivor.

  • Idk what's going on. It's happening to me as well so I'm assuming they're messing with the forum layout or something.

  • To allow the killer to be able to close it? Unless your connection to the servers are bad, the killer should be able to just close the hatch before the survivor can jump in, at least in my experiences.

The actual spot the killer closes it is along the outside while the survivor is more in the middle.

  • @ApeOfMazor said:

Yeah PS4 sucks. Sometimes I just queue up as killer and dodge games I know survivors were waiting like half hour for.

This doesn't do anything anymore though? Survivors stay in lobbies now so they only have to wait maybe another 20 seconds or so for another killer to show up if you dodge.

Can't tell you how many killers dodge lobbies because they assumed it was an SWF when it's just how the lobby system is now.

  • Monto, Farmer, Scot, Sat, Umbra and Otz are the ones I mainly watch or at the very least skim through; just not enough time in the day to watch every video by everyone. I'll check out Tru, Puppers, and some other DBDers every now an then as well. Noob and Demi are both fun but they hardly upload.

I honestly like pretty much every well known Dbd streamer/youtuber besides Ochido and Tydetyme. Ochido's stuff just gets a bit old and I don't care for Tyde's personality. Nothing against Tyde as a person but I just don't find him entertaining and he can be really hard stuck in his opinions. I think he's good for the community itself though even though I don't like him.

Edit: If I had to pick a favorite, it'd be Monto. He's just the right amount of skill, messing around and sass for me.

  • Depends on whether or not the killers are being limited by the entity and if we're going off of movies.

Now assuming they can all be killed some killers like Clown, Pig, Ghostface, Legion and Hag are dead super early no matter what.

From there I think Wraith, Trapper, Billy, Cannibal and Myers would go next. While Wraith could hide, most killers always have that weird 6th sense thing so I don't think it'd work well for him. He can also be interacted with so once he's found, he's probably dead. Trapper is basically a killable Jason, Billy and Cannibal have their chainsaws but with how bulky most people are, they probably tank the attack and kill them or straight up deflect it. Even Trapper just lunging could probably deflect the chainsaws. Myers is beefy but I don't think he could compete with some of the others, especially if we go standard human Myers.

It would be interesting to see how Plague's super puke and Doctor's shocks would affect people. Depending on the damage, I think they would do really well but are unlikely to win.

Huntress also does decent for a bit with her ranged attacks but once she's out, she's in the same boat as the Trapper.

Demo, Nurse, Oni, Spirit and Freddy I think are the top competitors and to see who wins would be determined if they're limited or not.

Freddy is especially interesting. If we go just in gamewise then he dies super early with Clown and the others since he's just a short boy with claw hands and a power that wouldn't do much to other killers besides let him run away. If it's in universe Freddy then it'd depend on if they fear him or not? I haven't watched the movies in a while but he required people to fear him before he can do the more crazy stuff right? So he might not be able to do much against some killers.

Oni and Demo are both super beefy killers. Oni is also a trained swordsman and would do quite well against most killers. Demo's animalistic nature would also work well against most.

Spirit and Nurse all depend on if they're handicapped or not. If they have full control then they could just keep teleporting around while only being able to be injured for short bursts making them very likely to be one of the last survivors. Oni depending on how good his samurai senses are, might be able to hit them as they're teleporting to attack him.

I don't think demo could beat Nurse, Spirit or Oni if they're not being limited. I don't think Freddy's power would work on Demo either and it's up in the air if he can affect the other 3.

I think Oni would be able to beat Nurse. Her weapon would do little damage to him and I think he'd be able to get off a hit eventually.

I also think the same would apply to Spirit but with more damage being done to him. Assuming Freddy is unable to fear kill him I think Oni wins a majority of these Death Battles as he is the only killer that is a trained fighter and has the brawn and ability to back it up.

If Freddy is able to fear kill people then he pulls off a majority of wins instead of Oni.

Spirit and Nurse will often come in the top 3 and even win sometimes in the majority of fights.

Demo gets like a constant top 5 slot but will rarely win.

Doctor and Plague are dark horse winners depending on how their power effects others.

Everyone else will have varying places depending on who they go against first but will almost never win or even come close.

  • It's a interesting idea but some killers would get a bit too much of a buff from this. Plague could have everyone broken before commiting without worry, Pig could just follow people with active traps until they die, Legion could also get everyone injured before commiting. Oni could just wait until he gets a perfect snowball from his power by letting slugs get back up if he only gets a single down. The same could apply with Billy or Nurse. Myers becomes the most OP killer in the game using his infinite tier 3 tombstone combo since he has all the time in the world now. Even just standard infinite tier 3 would be busted.

Some perks would see a major boost such as save the best for last since you could get 8 stacks before commiting.

I think this would actually encourage slugging as well. You'd slug one person and go find someone else on a gen, the slug gets up while you're chasing someone else, gens are now awful and you rinse and repeat until everyone has bled out. When survivors notice the killer is slugging and never hooking, they will only focus on gens and probably just let the guy bleed out on the ground since it's the most effective strategy at that point. It'd become the equivalent of getting facecamped. Sucks for that guy it's happening to but it's gen time now. Worst part being you could do this with any killer fairly effectively. You could also simply never down anyone and get every pallet thrown on the map which becomes very unfair for survivors once you start to actually play.

Even if it's changed to where 1 down will end the effect for good, killers like Plague and especially Myers would become pretty annoying and unfair to play against.

  • Like they said, just really bad luck. It took me like 30 bloodwebs after reaching 50 before I finally got a fragrant tuft of hair on myers. Also took me a few levels past 50 before I finally got a scratched mirror. Meanwhile on doctor, I have like 40 ebonys and like 30 Iridescent kings because I get one every level.

Sometimes the game just be like that with its shenanigans.

  • Mend isn't really that big a deal to have to do it right away. It doesn't go down as long as you run so running around looking for a gen or even working on a gen until mend is about to wear out is normally fine. Even running around and then happening across someone isn't awful. Especially in lower ranks as they were probably more concerned just trying to get full healed, not so much mend healed.

  • Just in 10 times in general. I just did with doc using only 1 game and I didn't repeatedly shock anyone either. Should work with others perks that make people scream. Not sure if calm spirit effects it or not.

  • You can still finish level 2, it just requires you to go through the survivor side of it.

As long as it is finishable is someway without DLC, I don't really see an issue.

  • You can either take a hit while the killer is carrying someone or take a hit while an injured person is nearby. For the protection hit to work the person nearby you has to be injured not healthy.

  • The wiki has the exact numbers if you're interested but I agree, it'd be nice to see them in game. I wouldn't even mind a percentage on gens while working on it so that when you tell someone you have an exact percent. It's also be fun or at least different to watch the number climb while working on the gens.

  • Honestly, forget protecting gens. Just like how you have basement chest Bubba, I love to see a Spirit do nothing but try and protect her totems all game. Sounds like it'd be a bit of fun. :3

I don't want this to come out wrong, but I'd love to know what time zone you play in as well as what system, because you will never hear that coming from a PS4 player. The culling usually begins at around 5pm, that's when survivor mode activates. Also, the average pool of survivor is getting better anyway, Solo survivor isn't that great of a hindrance if you are actually independently good at survivor in my opinion anyway... I'm rank 7 and survive, oh, maybe between 60- 75% of my games? But I don't play SWF especially now because I'm wait in lobby 60 minaphobic.

Now to be fair I do only play against red ranks.... But to be fair I'm currently rank 10, so yes, quite a few games can and have gone like this, even tho I still get my occasional 4K still and usually earlier in the day I can generally do fine. Maybe I'll upload games again and start sharing what I find while playing weaker killers (Although I'll say this... I get results with Legion quite often, and can still 4 iri with him, that travel speed and distance actually brings up a good point about one of the precieved worst killers).

I'm on ps4 and I agree with him for the most part. I play at all different times of day, US East as well as red ranks. I normally play Wraith, Myers, Doctor and Freddy using the Spirit Fury/Enduring/BBQ/4thPerk as my main build but switching it up depending on how I'm feeling. I've been playing since just before Clown was released and in my time I have seen maybe 1 squad I could consider a deathsquad that made me think, I could never have won this game no matter what I did or how I played.

Against SWF's I'll usually have a tough game but whether I win, lose or draw will depend on the map as well as how many mistakes I made during the match and how well they played as a team. A lot of factors go into it but I feel like I always had the chance to win if I do end up losing.

Against your average group of people I will almost always 3k as I normally don't worry about hatch and I'll also just give hatch to people if I curbstomped them and got my BBQ stacks already. I don't camp unless the gates are powered in which case I will camp to secure a kill or down more people if they plan to be altruistic. I do slug if the situation calls for it and I almost always try to secure some kind of 3-gen strat from the beginning if possible.

So from my own experiences, I would say I get an obvious SWF group in maybe 1 of 5 matches in which the game can very well go either way depending on the circumstances. The other 4/5 matches I will normally win unless I mess up hard or they pull off some crazy good plays. The 1in100 deathsquad will curbstomp me as they would almost anyone.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure some people do have bad luck and face deathsquads more than you're average joe but more often than not people will think they're facing a group of gods when in reality it's just a normal SWF and they played awfully while using awful perks on an awful map.

Just my own opinion from my experiences of the game so far. ^_^

  • Slenderman and FNAF are the two I don't want to see. I like both franchises but I don't think either one would work very well in this game.

  • I use Pop, Spirit Fury, Enduring, and BBQ. Pop is amazing on any killer and you can use any perks you want on him really. He's a pretty standard killer so just use perks to cover whatever you don't like at the moment. Save the best for last is pretty good on him, brutal as well.

Flask of Bleach and an Ether are usually my goto add-ons with him. Red head's pinky finger will usually net you some DC's and salt if that's your thing. Extra bottles are nice, expanded AoE is fun. Really, any of his addons can be used depending on what you want to do atm. I just like the bonus slowdown with that slight extra time. I usually catch people at pallets and if not, I still have spirit/enduring as backup. Works well enough but not much map pressure no matter what you do.

  • Not from DBD themselves but if the anti-cheat catches you then yes. It's one of those do at your own risk kind of things. To my knowledge I don't think anyone has been banned for it but again, if the anti-cheat catches you then you'd be banned.

  • The current system is already broken and we're at rock bottom. It can't get worse than it is since the rank system isn't even working right. It might stay the same with people getting in matches outside their skill level but it will not get worse since it already puts low ranks with high ranks as is.

Queue times should get better and worse case scenario, you still get put in matches outside your level but you should at least have theoretically better queue times to go with it. SWF will also still be an option for good teammates.

You can already smurf people anyway and I'd say it's easier to make an alt account then go through the effort of constant dcing to lower rank. On PS4 it takes all of 5 minutes to make a alt account. PC would have to go through a couple extra steps but should be pretty fast as well.

I do agree they should show us our rating though. Even if no one else can see it, I would like to know what it is. :3

  • Most challenges aren't that bad especially in the new tome but yeah, there is no doubt the hardest challenge is everyone dies in the basement just because dc's don't count towards it. You probably have better chances of doing it now since people are on tome 2 but I imagine it can still be a grind.

Everything else while potentially grindy or maybe taking a couple tries depending on if you have awful teammates isn't nearly as bad as that one.
