The MMR system is gonna be worse than current matchmaking, change my mind

  • If your rating is higher than your opponent(s), your rating will increase less if you win and drop more if you lose. 
  • If your rating is lower than your opponent(s), your rating will increase more if you win and drop less if you lose. 


You uhhh, didn't point out how if a killer or survivor was to lose ALOT on purpose they could just go to newbies and completely destroy them and not be punished at all



Also what is the point of keeping it hidden?

Some of us wanna see our skill level

    Hidden the point is the mean reason why they make MMR system.

    Honestly this is what's making me fear the new skill-based matchmaking. It's going to get abused, we all know it. I just pray that the Devs work something out to actually make it fair again, or this could be the final straw for a lot of people.

    The current system is already broken and we're at rock bottom. It can't get worse than it is since the rank system isn't even working right. It might stay the same with people getting in matches outside their skill level but it will not get worse since it already puts low ranks with high ranks as is.

    Queue times should get better and worse case scenario, you still get put in matches outside your level but you should at least have theoretically better queue times to go with it. SWF will also still be an option for good teammates.

    You can already smurf people anyway and I'd say it's easier to make an alt account then go through the effort of constant dcing to lower rank. On PS4 it takes all of 5 minutes to make a alt account. PC would have to go through a couple extra steps but should be pretty fast as well.

    I do agree they should show us our rating though. Even if no one else can see it, I would like to know what it is. :3

    Too bad we wont even be able to tell since they want to Hide it for no good reason.

    Smurfing already exists as stated above, but I agree I would like to know why it's hidden.

    It honestly can't get much worse. All systems can be abused. Let's just wait until it happens to whine
