Blight and Nurse add ons are what need nerfed

nurses addons already got nerfed lol. All of them are useless except for 2-3. The mangled one, campbells, and the lunge on 2 blinks extender. All the others are either niche, meme, or handholding for new players.

    nerf alch ring

  • Literally why!?

ALL HIS ADDONS SUCK. Except for kids ball glove; and they nerfed it. Spreadsheet balancing at its finest. They cant actually expect us to believe a 1s bonus was sooo broken it needed nerfs. Nope, they just saw that it had high usage in excel spreadsheet and nerfed it for excel spreadsheet.

  • I think its well designed. Sloppy doesnt affect special attacks, so killers you constantly use their power to get downs wont benefit. Which is why those addons exist, nurse has one and its her best imo.

Indoor maps usualy suck for Killers with fun power while killers who are sneaky or can hold gens well is good for them.

I rememeber a Bubba who chases me for 5 gens because he just couldn't use his power on me and I always found a window or a pallet to get away from hit.

Ikr I love it for scratch mirror myers but the moment I load in as wesker I know its gonna be hell 😭

  • Thats how matchmaking is. it'll really cuck you when you start.

Gen speeds are fine. Map designs and maps being RNG are the issue along with poor killer designs

    literally this.

  • I have 2k hours on killer. its only easy if the survivors are bad, I think you just have low elo on killer.

what do you mean it is not instant break? it is instant break. you can look at pallets and delete them. remember, pallet breaking is big deal with killers because the killer is stuck in animation when breaking them for 2.34 seconds. This gives a lot of time for survivor to hold-w to next pallet loop because survivor is always ahead of the killer. The event pallet break allows you to move and break pallets at the same time. It is like better then enduring spirit fury. god windows are like 9/10 window loops into 10/10 loop makes little difference. it is already strong with 0 perks. The only place I would say where window blocking can make difference is if your playing haddonfield or garden of joy and you vault the 2nd floor windows to block the killer from following you. Otherwise, most of windows the killer can go around. It does counter killer that use bamboozle like bubba but whatever.

Because... the break... takes time???? Thats the opposite of what instant means??????

Its supposed to be impactful... just path with the break in mind. Dont go somewhere where the pallet getting kicked is your only chance. Its not like it breaks windows.

Tell me you're a killer main without telling me you're a killer main. Its the easiest gameplay I've ever had

survivor is so easy you just run ina circle until you need to drop the pallet!11!1! And they drop instantly its sooo braindead!

thats you. thats how you sound.

  • play killer

  • Its not an instant break, it takes two seconds. Its only a big deal if you run yourself into a deadzone or if the killer uses it to deny a vault, both of which require some level of skill or lack of it. Fun fact: survivors can instantly win the chase by blocking a god window and vaulting through it.

  • nobody plays dbd like hide and seek idk what you mean. The chase is all about fighting to survive.

    @CrimsonMothKing said:

That in itself could be a new game mode/side objective. Imagine, while others do gens, you can set a trap for the killer or something, and the game becomes a fight for actual survival rather than hide and seek.

  • No thanks. I'd rather not deal with infinite instabreak carnifex's at his disposal. Carnifex is only kept in check by the guard cycle anyways with how strong it is.

  • Seriously dude? I cant believe you actually quit the game a few months ago with all the dead hards and CoH to crutch.

    "Worst anniversary!"

Reasons: Killers are tunneling and camping (happens beyond anni), killers are buffed

Survivors got buffed too. You are aware that you can block a god window and just win the chase right then and there? And spawn pallets? Oops! That doesnt fit your narrative...

Can't you catch yourself and remember this is a horror game?

I really don't understand these people

bro they added alice in wonderland and attack on titan nothing is off limits

  • It turned out the effect was kind of broken. Self healing on its own is already super powerful. Healing pressure is good because it gets 2 people off of gens. But with CoH, just one perk slot out of 16 on the team lets everybody self heal infinite times. the speed was the same as 50% self care way back which was a bad perk, but since everyone could use it it wasnt a waste of a slot.

so they gave it more altruism speed and got rid of the self heal. Kind of bad now.

Same exact problems as Knight and Skull Merchant. When will we learn? If they're going to nerf EMP's to not be usable in chase (fair.) Can they at least put a limit on how many times he can teleport in chase?

Only saving grace is that all three of these killers are super rare.

No? Hes completely different from both of those killers... those two click a button and suddenly looping is a death sentence. Larry teleporting just gets pallets down quickly and can get easy hits at vault outplays. also, you absolutely can use emps in chase... just because they slow you doesnt mean they dont exist. Use it after he streams you like right after you wont lose much. or when you drop a pallet.

  • "Sweaty addons, as per usual"

My build was Superior Anatomy, spirit fury, enduring, and bambooszle. Addons were summoning stone with compund 33.

Man got upset I brought one good addon fro my anti loop meme build 💀

I think only killer players should post on this thread due to survivors know all i am posting is true and they will try to protect all their benefits. For sure, at least 4 generators are going to be completed by the first chase and the only way to stop this process is by doing camping, the only technique that killers are having.

    Survivors´ Techniques:

    • Hatch always 1 meter far
    • Pallets located in strategic way to run in circles and to perform an infinite chase.
    • Light Lanterns PLUS fireworks at same time.
    • Body Blocking.
    • Hit protection when they have been removed from hook even when door is almost open. IMPOSSIBLE TO DOWN SOMEONE WHEN THIS PHASE OF THE GAMES HAS BEEN REACH.
    • Survivors door hit. (Perk)
    • A LOT OF GEN RUSH PERKS.
    • AND NOW: the future phase of humiliation for all killers: BLOCK CAMPING and STOP TEAM WORK by allowing survivors to unhook theirselves. 3 survivors doing only generators and the fourth one doing chasing and removing from hook himself and with that be ALLOWED TO RECIVE MORE 3 HITS and if that happens a body block will be presented for sure. (3 hits support by using perks: OFF THE ROAD + DEAD HARD.... Broken COMPLETE GAME BY ADDING DECISIVE STRIKE)

    Killer Techniques:

    • Camping...... and by injustice, punished in final score to push killers to "find" another survivor and to be punish with another 4 gen chase.
    1. That can also happen to you, and you see if they bring an offering.
    2. You arent supposed to chase them if they have that good RNG. You are meant to wittle down the amount of pallets over time and take the hooks that are easy.
    3. Flashlights and firecrackers take skill from the survivor end or bad play from the killer end to accomplish.
    4. Bodyblocking, while annoying, does give you free pressure via injuries. Just smack them.
    5. Basekit BT protection hits are kind of dumb. Its an anti tunnel feature and should not encourage putting yourself in harms way. Having endurance should disable your collision so you killer can bodyblock your BT out, and you cant bodyblock a hit with it. Also in endgame yeah any unhook is an escape you get used to it. Maybe in endgame Basekit BT should be shorter.
    6. I dont even know what "survivor door hit perk" means...
    7. Yeah gen times are kind of stupid right now we know. You can still get wins though so its not a pressing issue.
    8. If you are camping before endgame, you are a bad killer. You are settling for a 1k that isnt even guaranteed when you could play normally and get 2-3k instead. its only good in endgame to secure a final kill. And no they cant take 3 hits with OTR DH and BT????? If you need to mend then endurance disables. Easy counter: DONT CAMP.

What are you on about, killer has plenty of techniques.

    1. Tunneling
    2. Slowdown Perks
    3. S tier killers
    4. midwich and dead dawg saloon
    5. slugging for the 4k
    6. right now, remote breaks and expose.
    7. Powerful chase killers
  • @Iron_Cutlass said:

Killers do get BL, it's not that hard, it just takes 15 seconds and running around a loop a few times is enough to get it.

I personally dont mind it if Killers use their powers, but some people just entirely rely on the Exposed from the event, which bothers me because I know it will hinder their improvement later down the line, but other than that it is fine imo.

yeah I dont really have an issue with it at large I just dont like how it rewards bad killers while being a lot less useful on good killers /high tiers.

  • 1 . HOW DID YOU GET THAT MANY LMAO i play like 8 hours a day and pour it all into blight how 😭

2 . level your survs, blights got enough to last next year

  • Tunneling is completely fine unless you are just... hard tunneling at 5 gens. You think you need a kill to turn the game around? Go ahead. Need a small legup because the survivors are taking the lead? Not a big deal, just dont hard tunnel at 5 gens.

hatch is slightly killer sided, because killer is quicker then survivor = able to cover more area at the same time. It's slightly off topic, but let's not pretend hatch is surv sided.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/380954/last-survivor-hook-escape

The issue is, that this happens mainly if survivor hides and won't take a hit/chase for his teammates. Other people then die before you and there's not enough time for gens to be completed. It's usually (not always) kinda your fault too - making it fair to not give you free attempt (which is most of the time only prolonging the game needlessly). Try to play a little more altruistically and maybe you will get to this situation less.

Its not like the hatch is spawned an equal distance from both players. its entirely random who finds it if theres no offering. What i was saying is that its slightly surv sided because survivors get a much bigger reward for finding hatch than the killer does lol.

  • its so stupid too, if they just made trapper bag basekit and some other addons he'd be A-tier. Such a product of his time, as of now hes practically designed to fail. imagine if for every triggered trap, hag had to walk over there, pick it up, and move it where she wants.

  • No. Its high usage is for those high mobility chase killers to get early game pressure. Blight and nurse also like using BBQ which benefits greatly from lethal. Its not like lethal is an instant chase win anyways, you still have a chance.

  • Its like that because either your team lost or they left you, and in both scenarios you lost (didnt find hatch, couldnt get to gate). If your teammates just stand there for the kobes its completely fine anyways. Plus hatch is entirely random to begin with and is decently survivor favored (insta escape compared to a small chance of escaping if the killer finds).

  • the game tends to be unbalanced for those without mobility... seriously its bad. Throw on lethal and you see that most of the time survivors spawn on the gens. on most killers its pretty simple to win chases but as M1 you cant really be everywhere at once, or have the pressure to avoid that necessity consistently.

I've read people like you already, a million times, you're all the same with your short minded answers.

    DS needs rework: jUsT sLuG!!!

Dead hard needs rework: jUsT bAiT iT!!!!

Pop needs to be reworked: jUsT dOnT gO dOwN!!!!

Guess what? I was right about DS, dead hard, call of brine + overcharge, pain res, and more. I don't come here to cry because I lose a match, I KNOW when things don't add up, I've been playing this game long enough and I was right every single time. Pop is the next example, just wait and see.

Behold! Making assumptions with little to no basis!

I agree DS needed a rework. Dead hard was the most broken uncounterable BS for WAY TOO LONG. But heres the thing about PGTW, its nothing like either of those perks. It isnt skilless, its not uncounterable, it doesnt reward you for losing and is overall very well designed. My point wasnt " DOI STOOPID JUST DONT LOSE!!11!!1!11!". Its nothing like the complete BS argument for old dh of "just wait it out" that showed a complete lack of game understanding. THERE IS STUFF YOU CAN DO ABOUT PGTW. Namely, being better than the killer is! Having more skill! If you dont have more skill than them, then why should you be able to negate a skill based perk??? You shouldn't, pretty simple. Should we nerf adrenaline? Once it pops you cant do much in a chase. Except JuSt DOwN them EaRLyEr!!!! oh wait, except you didnt go down because you made skillful plays so you got adrenaline value. It kind of seems like skillful plays should be rewarded with strong effects!

I KNOW when things dont add up!

And I don't? This statement just screams "I'm smarter than you, I know when somethings up and you clearly don't! Bet you though DS and DH were balanced too!" Everyones welcome to their opinion, but saying your opinion is better isnt an argument. its just stupid.

The level of strawmanning is unmatched. Whats that? A perk that rewards getting downs is countered by prolonging that? Which takes skill to do? Nah, your just saying that you should just stop losing and git gud! Like shut up. if you cant understand that getting hooks is based on both sides skill compared to each other, and you being better than the killer is in chase is a counter to a perk that rewards the reverse, thats on you. its not a hard concept. Its the exact same concept with adrenaline, it rewards you being good at the game and not dying thus far with a massive reward. You basically get an instant chase win, lots more safety bc heal, and faster gate opening bc speed gets you there. But guess what! That only happens IF YOU ARE SKILLED AND DONT DIE. Kind of like how PGTW is only powerful IF YOU ARE SKILLED AND GET HOOKS CONSISTENTLY. Take those two requirements and see how they dont coexist? because they counter each other. If the killers better than you, he gets PGTW value. Which he should if he is the better player. The only possible arguments you can make is that its too good with tunneling (like every strong perk in the game) and that soloQ cant counter it.

    • Oh look. Tunnelings an issue. I never could have foreseen this. Its almost like the game is only fair when people are playing fairly.. and that basekit BT exists. And OTR. And SB. And bad mad RNG. Tunneling someone with OTR SB is just a bad idea if they have decent teammates sitting on gens. The devs are constantly working on tunneling, they've said this time and time again. Did you miss when they announcement campings getting straight up removed? They clearly hear our voices and are working on solutions. Do you still think that PGTW is op in a match where the killer is wesker, on family residence, where everyones running meta, the killers not tunneling, and everyones of equal skill? If you say yes, then you are just wrong.
    • Oh look. SoloQ teammates are bad at the game. This loss must be entirely the fault of PGTW, and not the teammates to bad at the game to not go down in 20 seconds. Its almost like bad players lose the game for their team.

You can't argue that PGTW is overpowered sensibly. most often it'll get what, 17% regression? 25%? About 20s overall? How much time does the average chase take hmmm..... about 48s. So they played well, got the down, got the hook, knew which gen they needed to kick, spent the time to walk there and probably ignore anything else bc timer, then kick it. You still get a net gain. Unless regression is severely outweighing progression in chases theres not an issue. Thats why the gen kick meta was so broken, because not only did overbrine regress way too much, eruption could get you 40s of slowdown on infinite gens on unlimited survivors an unlimited number of times! And guess what? it got killed, every single perk from that meta is D-tier now. And pain res? a fairly powerful perk that rewarded skill and punished lack of it? Nerfed, because tunneling made it into an overpowered monster. The same goes for survivor, all the broken stuff is pretty much gone now. Med kits are gone, DH is gone, ds is balanced, CoH is balanced. All thats really left is some maps.

You cant seriously be calling PGTW overpowered. It just doesnt add up. If overbrine was stronger, and people were still able to escape and win consistently despite its strength, then how is PGTW better?

I just cant take you seriously. You're just a soloQ player who thinks soloQ teammates and matchmaking reflect on the entirety of balance. They don't.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3464857#Comment_3464857

How do you define that challenge compared to what you see as bullying?

I would say its bullying when the survivors are focusing more on making sure you have less fun than on their objective. When instead of going for gens and survival, their express purpose is to prolong the game and make the killer feel angry. It can be done through many means, typically through taking intended mechanics to their breaking point. Unhookable SWFs with breakout boil over breakdown and flip flop in the basement of badhams main building. its incredibly hard to complete your objective, near impossible with good coordination. it makes you feel powerless while they have the power trip of their lives at your expense.

  • @Barbarossa2020 said:

"The counter to pop is to just not go down"

Oh, it was that easy? I didn't know that, thanks. I'll tell my solo Q teammates that next time. I can't believe I didn't think of that before.

wow, bad teammates ae giving the killer pressure and perk value! So unheard of! This means PGTW is overpowered and has no counterplay because players are bad. I never knew soloQ controlled balance!

not PGTWs fault your teammates suck.

  • Plaything+pentimento can be good on wesker since people are used to his TR being everywhere. Stealth wesker scares me

  • PGTW isnt broken. It has a strong effect now because it has a hard activation requirement. The counter to pop is to just not go down, it only gets value if you get hooked. Also split up on gens he can only kick one. It already has a hard limit, the amount of hooks you get. If the survivors are better than you you get less value. If the killers better, he gets more value. If hes pressuring people off of gens he gets less regression. It does a lot in an equally matched game, less in games where you stomp, and a great amount if you are getting stomped (not that one pop will turn it around). Its only remotely broken when tunneling, like you said when someones out early. Something the devs are already looking in to.

Also, pain resonance wasnt an issue either. it was very balanced. it rewarded good play (quick chases and hooks) with strong regression. if you were snowballing hard you got lots of value, something survivors could prevent by being skilled themselves. Which leads into it punishing bad survivor play. Like PGTW, it does a lot more if you are a lot better than them. Only broken with tunneling which is why it got nerfed.

honestly once tunnelings a non issue I want them both reverted to their og forms.

  • Marry: artist bc shes not evil for the most part

kill: knight so I never have to deal with him again.

    F: wesker. enough said.

  • As killer, theres a lot less times where you are doing nothing. Something is always going on, always thinking about something whatever it is. I also like that my skill can be what carries me to victory on stronger killers. Unlike survivor, where you could be 1# NA and still lose if your teammates suck. On survivor though, I love the chase! Its really the only fun part of survivor lol. The 360s, fast vault setups, managing SB, vaccuming pallets. Really its all the little techs and games you can play that really help on the macro scale. I also like the different playstyles avaliable on survivor. Some perks are stealth, others chase. There are meme builds and meta builds all so different from each other.

I guess its kind of like this: At its core, dbd is a strategy game. Some killers change that, but for the most part you are strategically choosing your next move. Which sets you up for hooks to snowball or hold chase for gens. Its all about whats going on in your head and how you can get into theirs, which is super fun!

  • I think there should be an any means esque perk to spawn party pallets at broken ones.

  • It comes with experience. Typically, anything thats a flat surface and is as tall as your camera can be bumped. Anything thats really lumpy or round or really short you'll probably slide off of. Hes really disorienting at first because you have to flick back to the survivor to rush after a bump, but you get used to it. Hes really snnoying on ormond though, slides off of like... everything.

  • camping is getting removed anyways, and its completely counterable. a 1k is a measly reward compared to a possible 2-3k

  • Uh, what?

"This game has been mismanagement for 7 years to the killers benefit!"

og MoM. og DS. og DH + DH v2. CoH. CoH v2. CoH v3 (we are on CoH v4 rn, the balanced version). old med kits. old BNPs. Old syringes. INSTABLIND FLASHLIGHTS. INFINITE LOOPS. TELEPALLETS. That annoying period before exhaustion was implemented. og self care. Almost all regression perks getting gutted recently. The gutting of ruin and PGTW. Infinite duration sabotages. The fact it took DH 6 MF YEARS JUST TO BE BALANCED.

You know how many broken, and I mean gamebreakingly unfair things killers have had in the past?

Original Nurse. Old old range addons for nurse. Recharge addons for nurse. basekit BT not existing for a while. The gen kick meta. Instamori myers. original spirit. Original iri heads. Eruption for like, 3 months. The 3 gen meta with knight and mid merchant. maybe og hag.

See hwo little that is in comparison. Notice, more importantly, that NONE OF THESE compare to the stuff survivors used to have. You could disable every hook PERMANENTLY. Loop one window PERMANENTLY and become unkillable.

I just- seriously? No really, how blind do you have to be to think this? The game historically has been incredibly survivor sided, only in recent years have we come CLOSE to a balanced game. "The killer has built in admin cheats" yeah yeah take it up with full repair BNPs and insta FULL HEAL SYRINGES. You cannot seriously come out here, say that killer is so op its like their cheating and it always has been, and be serious. When survivors used to have things that made them uncatchable, unkillable, instantly crank 4 gens, instantly heal someone from slugged to full, and some of the most broken BS perks in the game. Did you forget DS used to be a 4th hook state? that MoM could be abused for 5 hit chases? that you could literally remove every hook from the trial?

And you are seriously coming out to say its a KILLER SIDED GAME. Lets see what do killers have right now? Pain res (discourages tunneling), surge (only gets great value on M1 killers), deadlock (really stupid strong but no op), sloppy (doesnt work on top tiers or with many playstyles), no way out (has to be earned via not tunneling), noed (good survivors just remove it after the 30s), corrupt intervention (just helps get a strong early game going).

Meanwhile MFT is crushing low tier killers and gen speeds are out of control because theres almost no regression??? If you are seriously having actual problems escaping then its on you.

Also, "didnt have enough skill to play the game right"

Ah, I see. So its you that decides the right way to play? For everyone? And I guess that entails never slugging never tunneling never camping never using 4 slowdown perks always giving the last guy hatch (its the right thing to do) and never playing nurse or blight because they are super op and unbeatable right? get over yourself.

What if I say that survivors should give me a pity kill every time they stomp me? Or that they should just be nice and gett off the gens so I can get some hooks in. So dumb.

    Wait a minute.

Aren't those stats from a site that relies on the playerbase themselves entering in loadout information? On their honor? And it's only PC players too?

So we're taking it on faith they're putting in accurate info, and not including the largest portion of the playerbase either?

they verify every submission. Im not exactly sure how, but they do.

  • About singularity: No. He already spends enough time getting you infected to begin with, and emps make that hard even post nerf. Giving them a cooldown would be ridiculous.

About knight: Why are we nerfing knight to begin with? hes low B-tier M1 anti loop trash. that instabreak on carnifex is like, his ONLY strength in chase beyond unending antiloop.
