Don't have dead hard unlocked. Also urban evasion usually works out for me.

I'm not even that great a looping full stop but i've had a decent amount of success of looping and disappearing rather then just running from loop point to loop point.

Ok.
Why?
Killers don't know you specifically. And statistically even if every Killer would tunnel one person the whole game like you are suggesting that'd still would only lead to you being tunneled 25% of the time.
So the only explanation is that something you do for whatever reason makes Killers more likely to want to tunnel you.
Maybe you tbag a lot, maybe the loops you use trigger people, maybe your skin is super eye catching, I haven't seen you play so I can't say what it is.
But if you (and not your entire team one by one) are being tunneled as often as you say you are then that doesn't add up unless something you are doing makes you more likely to be tunneled.
Can you describe your playstyle, build and Survivor to me please?
I don't tea bag at all, i play both so i know what it's like. I also like to play stealthy so i don't tend to get into to many chases. I don't really go for the flashy clothing either so i shouldn't stand out that much. I pick perks like urban evasion/spine chill/self care(can't rely on teammates to heal)/prove thyself. I play more on the stealthy side so killers don't see me much. I'm not the greatest at jukeing and looping but after today thats changed. I don't think i'm doing to get the killers on me, i think i've just had the worse bad luck to break statistics. i've gone from rank 9 to 7 today.

It is how many hooks you get or sacrifices?
Let’s say I hook Claudette 3 times, do I get credit for all 3 of the times I hooked her or do I have to physically sacrifice 25 Claudettes to get the face?
It's 25 sacrifices

What about the games where it's someone else being tunneled.
Why do you think it's always specifically you?
Because with the excepection of the odd game here and there, killers have always ran straight back to my hook or completely ignored all other survivors. I did just have a game where the killer chose to tunnel every other survivor but me.

I get that.
I'm saying that isn't something you should be blaming the Killer for. Not that it doesn't end up screwing you over, because it obviously does.
All day 99% of the matches i've been and it's not like they're even getting an easy kill for it. I've never had a day like this before. If i knew that getting back to purple ranks was going to make me a target of nearly every killer i wouldn't of bothered. The worse thing is the waiting to get to a new game is stupidly long just to be forced into another marathon.

I'm not saying you did something wrong. Just that the Killer didn't either if the gens aren't being done anyways.
They're being done just not quick enough in most cases for me to run right out a open door.
-
Only on hooks, i've had so many people DC on the hunt for the faces luckily i don't have to worry about that now.

it is not going to stop them, it is punishing them for doing it.
same with DS.
the killer doesnt know you have BT or DS until it hits them. and at that point, switching targets would hurt him even more, so he is going to stick to you - but that doesnt mean he will get the benefits he wanted from it. instead of getting an easy immediate down, he gets a healthy survivor AND gets stunned for picking you up, plus having to chase you down yet again.
if killers get hit enough by those things they will stop by themselves, as tunneling would just no longer be worth it.
That should work but there have been a few that just kept on going

Then that should be plenty of time for your team to do the gens.
If the gens are not being done then it's the other Survivors you should be complaining about, not the Killer.
Not all the randoms i'm being paired with are that great, plus there is so much time wasted before hand looking for the ruin totem.
-
@Mister_xD said:
Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike say hello.
the very second BT activates, the killer lost all "benefits" he would have gotten with tunneling, and DS will then make the whole decision hurt him a lot more than it helped.
I can't help with borrowed time thats up to my random teammates but so far borrowed time has not stopped with the tunnelling

Look tunneling sucks for the person getting focused true, but just like survivors can "gen rush" so too can a killer "kill rush". Its often the most effective way to get kills in unorganized groups. If its a big problem for you I would suggest running any anti-tunnel perks you can or playing far more "stealthy" to begin with.
I do play stealth but sometimes you get spotted or a survivor runs a killer into you. I'm keeping them busy for 3 to 4 generators, i've took a break because my team mates left me to die on a hook after a 2 generator chase and come back and i still got immediately tunneled by a ghost face you wasted 3 generators on chasing me.
-
@NuclearBurrito said:
part of the process in "gitting gud" is figuring out which strategy is the most effective.
If the Killer is able to tunnel you out of the game quickly then that is a good Killer and the problem is not his skill, but either your skill or the game design itself depending on the specifics of the complaint.
If the Killer tried to tunnel you but takes far too long doing it then there is no problem. An inefficient strategy is directly punished by it's own inefficiency. No need for an artificial punishment on top of it.
It's not even being done quickly, i'm just being in a chase for so long.

It takes everyone so long to do generators i'm only one nan eventually i'm going to run out of steam. I'm averaging being tunnelled for 3 or 4 gens with ruin active

Yeah i'm aware..
I am really hoping broken stuff like Prayer Beads, Mori, Keys and all that are next to get nerfed.
I don't like this saying but have you considered getting gud. There are still 3 other people that still decided to play knowing there's a mori

Sounds like you did something to really annoy him to make the player tunnel you that hard.
I threw myself infront of the Claudette he was tunnelling so they got away that was when 1 gen had been done and he almost lost me to the trapdoor

Doubtful. Super tunneling killers rarely do it because they consider that person a threat.
Someone playing the demongorgon completely ignored everyone else, fought through borrowed time, then i used ds, then my teammates would drop a pallet on him to get him to drop me. They built a literal wall around him and he just smashed through it to chase me again.
-
@Cymer said:
What are you running?
Urban evasion, DS, probe thyself & sprint boost
-
@Lucama said:
If you get hard focused every game then sorry to say, but you're the weak link of the team. At least in terms of looping. Most killers have adapted the most effective hunting strategy in the world, going after the member of the group that's easiest to take down. After all, the most effective way to win in DbD is reducing the effective number of survivors working on generators.
Not every game ends in me dying and some end with literally only me dying and everyone else escaping.
-
@FrenziedRoach said:
I can't help but wonder what your teammates are doing while you are looping the killer
Or are you one of those deplorables that disconnects when you get tunneled so the killer doesn't really get punished for the behavior?
For the most part doing nothing, on rare occasions i get good team mates that get the 5 gens done and for the odd occasion they're being tunneled.

I'd like to get then 10,000 bp for a match

Saw people dcing cause they bump into a trapper's trap...
@brokedownpalace well, no. with 3 people can still black pip or at least have a somewhat playable game.
Most dc's happen with Billy>Spirit>Trapper but happened a lot with huntress, ghostface and legion too.
This must be punished cause if someone leave the game is ruined for the others and btw if more than one people leave it ruins the game for the killer too.
Had a game against a freddy where one person DC and the other 2 decided to do nothing but hide, i still escape through the exit gate afterwards but it was a hard won victory.
-
Yep i see at least one every game name, "i've been down for the first time, better quit". This is beyond a joke now, the number of times i've been screwed over by a person dc 30 seconds into a match.
-
I had a game where i was getting hardcore tunnelling, didn't matter about borrowed time or my DS or the number of times he kept getting pallet stunned while carrying me. He just kept on tunnelling ne the entire match like a ######### loser
-
I just had a guy decided to tunnel me so hard despite the borrowed time and DS and multiple pallet stuns when carry me. I've never come across such hardcore tunneling. ######### loser got 1 kill and even then he almost lost me to the hatch.
-
I know this has probably been said, but what did you think was going to happen? You've got survivor mains lying through their teeth that base nurse was broken and OP that the nurse has unnecessarily been nerfed so people are now going to play as the spirit.
-
I've hooked someone, left hooked another person, meanwhile first person has gotten of the hook, found them again sometime later and still get hit by DS. So yeah slugging sounds much better
-
Or survivors could stop bringing the purple toolboxes with brand new part and perks that speed things up and stop gen rushing every game, then killers won't need to rely on ruin
-
Yes because survivors will never bully level 1 killers just trying to do their daily objective like they've just done.
-
On the opposite side i'm having a really hard time playing as ghostface just to do a daily objective. My rank is going to get nerfed to hell by the time i get 3 insta downs

You mean Slippery Meat.
I used to use that paired with Up the Ante (and some times luck offerings) to jump off.
I might throw it back on for the hell of it.
Yes i did
-
Small game gives you extra unhook attempts it's worked a few times, not as much as i would like
-
I'm way more concerned about people being able to open hatch and jump in as fast as 1 second during a chase or that someone can insta heal a survivor faster then my cooldown animation after hitting them.
-
I wish they would shorten the activation range and the time it's active just a little, i feel like i was no where near the hook and i hooked somebody else inbetween when i get hit by DS
-
That does suck, i really only use a mori now to see what the kill animation is for new killers. I'm not a big fan of them either they ruin the game for other people and me.

i STOPPED playing for a while and I come back and killers have so many things. Super fast and they can exchange pallet hits.
You said in my response you took a huge break but in a post earlier you said it gets harder every patch. So which is it, you took a break or you're no taking a break and playing through every patch.
-
I don't follow survivors rule, if i did all i'd be allowed to do is stand there and do nothing. I have a set of rules i follow which i have come up with while playing as both survivor and killer. For the most part they line up with hat most survivors would want.
-
It seem like the majority of survivors (not all) have a cry baby mentality, "you're not going to lie down and let us stomp you into the dirt, your a noob and a cheater and you suck". There is nothing you can do to appease them so don't try and just play the way you want.
-
So you're calling spirit and nurse to be "nerfed into the ground", because i don't think any killer should be nerfed into the ground. Also i'm a switch player currently levelling up the doctor. Haven't got round to playing the spirit and i played the nurse before they buffed her.
Killers are absolutely allowed to have an opinion, but "nerf her into the ground" doesn't really sound like the opinion of a killer player. Also i wouldn't really call trapper, cannibal & doctor to be the most broken things ever, shape & wraith were fun and my time as the nurse was before they buffed her. Also i don't seem to have anywhere near the same amount of trouble against the nurse that everyone else seems to claim. I just think everyone wants to play ring around the roses and tea bag rather then change their tactics

Thats not new, pallet hits existed even before they removed the pallet hove

You guys are about to nerf the insta heal? Do you want the game to be majority killer?
Did you even think about what you were writing or did you just think "to hell with it, lets throw common sense out the window"
-
I doubt they even went through the process of filing a ticket since if they did they would need to provide evidence for it.
-
Trapper, i was not having anything fun trying to grind him up to P3
-
You really need some high end add on's to make any kind of decent progress with the doctor, his shock attack range is to small and the slow down you get from charging the attack doesn't help. The doctor is at his best when he can get multiple survivors to tier 3 madness. It makes the progress on generators slow and being able to extend the range and speed up the charge time are a must for chases.

So uh.. this happens to me a lot.
I try to unhook a survivor. The killer hits me and im now in injured state. As the killer swings again i instinctively hit dead hard and no-clip through the survivor i just unhooked and they get downed. I always feel really bad whenever this happens, but i also cant help but laugh.
Anyone else do this too?
You can't accidentally kill a survivor by unhooking right in front of the killer. You are either being a bad team mate or a troll
