This is probably a controversial opinion, but this is a game. If you're not having fun in this game, go ahead and DC/suicide on hook.

If a killer is camping you first hook at 5 gens and you're solo Q, just go ahead and get it over with. If I notice the killer tunneling (or they're tunneling me), it's better I move on to the next game, because I simply do not want to play with someone who think this is a viable strategy.

I don't care that some killers think they "HAVE" to act this way because otherwise they can't get their 4K. I'd rather play against someone with actual skill and gives a fair chance to the survivors to recover and enjoy their game as well.

Do you just up and quit when you're playing board games with friends?

Just asking because you quitting a game affects the other players in the game. Typically in a negative way.

  • Killers camp because it's easy and it works. It has nothing to do with gen times being too fast or looping being to strong.

  • Devs, can you make the radius of the protection stack a little longer. I shouldn't have to be balls deep behind a survivor for the protection stack to register.

    Just a friendly no-brainer suggestion.

  • I took a break at the end of July. Not sure if and when I'll be back, but my recommendation to anyone who is really not having a great time is to just take a break. You can always come back, and if you don't that's cool too.

But don't waste your time playing a video game that doesn't bring you more joy than disappointment or bad vibes.

  • You're missing the mark. A killer that is doing well and hooking multiple people don't need a slow down. The killers that only have a couple of hooks aren't going to get much of a benefit from the slowdown. It's just another way to make strong killers stronger, and the strong killers are plenty strong enough.

You did, congrats. Now join the massive uproar of people who said 6.1.0 would be the death of this game and yet here we are with probably the same people still playing.

For what it's worth. I haven't played since late July. My group that I would play with occasionally haven't played since the day after the patch. I'm sure we're not the only ones that have left.

And at least for me, it's probably more burnout than the patch per se, but I know my group left because of the patch. Just that day they had about 4 or 5 matches with hard core tunnelers and campers. That apparently was enough for them to bounce.

At least Oni is appropriately rewarded for his time investment with "sicko mode". Oni is just an M1 killer at the start, but Myers is literally WORSE than a standard M1 killer at start.

Yeah. Oni is about 10x as strong as Myers. It's not hard to get his power. It's two hits. If you're taking 3 minutes to get three hits, you weren't going to win anyway.

Myers is still the weakest (in my opinion). Some slight slow down and some strong/unique add-ons. But still pretty easy to counter.

i mean if thats what you take it as then thats your fault, a example does not necessarily mean comparison does it? I was saying everyone has choices and those choices can be changed, i used those because of the nature around them. people are called lazy for quitting jobs they dont like and people are called cowards for quitting military and people get mixed reactions to relationships even tho everyone should be allowed to quit. but i guess since people still have the toddler mindset of assuming they know everything to fit their damn narrative I should explain. As with anything IMPORTANT if it is something that is not important then you should quit as soon as you want to :) therefore you should quit a match and screw your teammates over if thats what you REALLY want. there you go buddy reworded for the dude whose brain cant look past an example

You used the examples as a comparison and it was a terrible one at that.

It is what it is. Keep quitting when the chips are down. It's all about you after all.

i mean there are lots of things people can nope out of. military, jobs, intimacy, relationships. its funny how there is a sense of oh well it shouldnt be your choice on certain subjects. like if i start anything its up to me to decide if i wanna finish. if i que up and my teammates cant do 3 gens after a 2 minute chase and only 1 is done and maybe a 2nd about to pop, you best bet im going to want to get out. Whether i do or not soley depends on the killer they are playing and the teammates. if i had higher mmr id stay in more matches tbh, id rather go against sweatier killers then to be stuck looping low mmr killers for so long, like yeah its fun but when the killers ignore me and just juggle 3 potatoes thats not very fun at all. and this mmr system is stupid so it dont matter how good i am it matters how good my randoms are XD

You're really comparing a ten minute game of DBD to the military or a relationship?

    Lol.

    Good grief.

I think you're a dickhead if you load up for a ten minute game and quit for any other reason besides an actual real life emergency or you're going to ######### your pants.

There are so many single player games that our just as fun, where you can pause or quit at your heart's content without ruining the match for other people. I know in the grand scheme of life, it's no big deal. But in sense of playing a game and quitting when things don't go your way, it's such a toddler like behavior trait. It cracks me up, but at the same time it's just another daily reminder of how trashy some people are.

    You do you I guess.

Okay, then what about slippery meat? Would that also be exempt based on your arbitrary logic?

Rework slippery meat since it's trash anyway regardless of if they took on my idea.

Also, you don't know what arbitrary means apparently.

  • You could obviously make an exception with deliverance since it gives you the unhook as opposed to the suicide. Duh.

  • Just make escape attempts cost 8k blood points that have been earned in game.

You got downed in 30 seconds and want to suicide on hook? Sorry. Didn't earn enough blood points!

    Better luck next time.

It would eliminate the annoying and selfish Kobe-in-your-face thing as well.

  • @AngryHobo2 said:

My question about all of this stuff is would suiciding on hook (directly after the match has started/your first down) count as something that violates the Dead by Daylight EULA?

Under the section "Rules of Conduct" all users of the BHVR software are prohibited from a great many number of things that make sense, as well as:

"Interfere with the ability of others to enjoy playing a BHVR Service or take actions that interfere with or materially increase the cost to provide a BHVR Service for the enjoyment of all its users."

I find it hard to argue for the second condition, unless sacrificing yourself puts a greater strain on BHVR's queue system and servers than if you had played out a match. I have zero evidence to back up that theory though so I cannot see it as a violation.

However, leaving the match ASAP once it has started (via sacrificing yourself or DC'ing) most definitely interferes with the ability of others to enjoy playing a BHVR service. Granted, I'm not lawyer or a BHVR staff member so if such behavior actually does breach the agreement of the EULA I don't know that.

Personally I'd just prefer we flag all accounts that DC at the start or die within a minute and a half of the match and then give them their own little queue where they get matched with all of the quitters, but that's just me.

What are your thoughts on this everyone?

I've posted it several times. Kobe attempts should cost in game earned blood points (8,000 per attempt). If you haven't earned enough bp, no Kobe attempt and you stay on the hook until you're saved or at least the full minute to got to phase 2.

A lot can happen in a minute, maybe the little sad player might see a gen or two pop and change their mind. Or maybe they run right to the killer who could slug and just leave them on the ground.

Bottom line this for you chuds that think this is totally reasonable to just quit because "well I didn't like this or that, wah I'm a baby". This is a game with near 30 killers, about 100 perks, 30+ maps, and pretty random match making. Some games will not be your cup of tea. But most games last about 10 minutes and can absolutely turn on a time in either direction. Stick it out.

Or just uninstall. PvP isn't for you if that's the case. Nothing wrong with that. Play a single player game instead.

  • @Adjatha said:

    Out of curiosity:

You mentioned that you were giving the hatch 7 times and were not sure exactly how many times another member of the survivor team was given the hatch, but there were enough for you to remember it happening several times.

At any point in these hundred games, did ANY survivor intentionally give themselves up to the killer in the end game, so that the other side could get one single kill? Can you recall even a single instance where that was the case?

Lol. I had that happen once. Then he messaged me a sarcastic "you're welcome".

I was like, I didn't ask you for the kill. You could have left. Thanks I guess.

  • Admittedly, I play more survivor than killer, but I also played plenty of killer during the old hatch. Just an estimate, and obviously just anecdotal and my opinion, but in maybe 1,000 killer games. I may have had a three person key escape, maybe in 10-15 games. The only time it really bothered me even a little would be if I just never even noticed they had a key.

If I knew they had a key, I usually could sweat my balls off and slug as a counter. I actually found those games to be pretty fun as it definitely added some spice to my games.

As a survivor, of course I liked the old hatch because it was another way to escape. One of my favorite games I was playing with my wife. She found the hatch in the shack and used her key to get out. The killer shut the hatch and I used a key I found in a chest and got out mid chase as well. We were dying laughing. I can see why a killer would be frustrated though.

I don't play enough right now for my opinion to really count, but I'd love the old hatch. I know killers felt slighted when moris we're changed and it took forever for the hatch to get reworked, but I never really saw those two as equivalent in terms of strength and annoyance. Getting mori-tunneled out of games and then having to wait 15 minutes to play again was way worse than a 3 man hatch escape. And if it was a four man hatch escape, well all the gens got finished anyway, so who cares.

Tldr: I agree. Bring the old hatch back.

  • Yeah. Slugging for the 4k is pretty lame-o in most circumstances. But killers paid for the game too I guess, and it's not against the rules.

I liked the game better with the old hatch mechanics. Even as a killer really.

    Old instaheal

Old sabotage (the three minute version where you could 99 hooks)

It was horrible for the game and I’m glad it’s gone. There’s a reason it was as popular as it was and it severely limited the effectiveness of several killers far more than one perk ever should.

As survivor I refused to use it because of how strong it was and I also didn’t want to have to get used to playing without it later knowing it would eventually be nerfed.

The only time I really used DH was either of I needed to for a challenge or if I was struggling to pip in red ranks. I was not a strong user of it, but even I could get some really good value plays with it.

Lol, DH was so strong that even when there was major latency issues with it, survivors would still use it. For every "exhausted on the ground" DH play there were probably 10 "ha ha dead hard bailed me out there" plays.

    Glad it's been nerfed.

Nah, "you are bad", ggez and all of the like are not what I consider bullying, the ######### and so on where the ones that before got me riled up, but now they are actually funny, knowing you manage to beat someone so baddly they get so mad its hilarious, thats why nowadays I actually love post-game chat salt.

Usually I feel the same and lol at them until either they or I get bored. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood and ignore the messages. But I almost never get worked up in an angry way about them.

  • @squbax said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3099863#Comment_3099863

Not really, I got bullied a lot when I started playing dbd, around late 2016- early 2017, and its the reason I kept playing and got good at the game, If I completely destroy them, they cannot bm at the exit gate, and If they sent messages I can just relish in them losing so bad thry cannot get over it.

You can a 100% keep playing a game after having these experiences repeatedly happen to you, depends on how you handle them.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't really get irked at the "teabag at the gate thing". Just like getting slashed on the hook. I've had friends that get so worked up about that and I always just chuckle a bit. Who cares?

Probably the only bullying that really pisses me off is the hide and seek thing, especially before EGC when they could legit just leave. Or when I was a terrible nurse and the players were way better than me and just wouldn't leave. That I count as bullying.

But just some teabags at a pallet or at a gate, nah. That's nothing I get worked up about.

End game salt messages are usually pretty funny, though again if you tell me to kill myself, use the n word, or gay slurs I'm gonna report to PSN even though tbh that stuff really doesn't get me that worked up, but it's just too scummy for me to let slide.

Messages like you are terrible, gg ez, you tunneled, camped, blah blah blah. Those are just usually amusing to me. I suppose you could count that as bullying, but again, you can shut the messages off so if that really bothers you (general you, not specific you) then block the messages.

If you're ever playing a game that is causing you a ton of stress, take a break or quit altogether. Games are supposed to be a good time.

  • Dead Hard was the strongest perk on either side by a large margin. Now it is not.

I really wish they would have changed dead hard on it's own to see how the balance was affected just by changing that perk, and then making all the other changes they made. I think that would have been a wiser decision.

  • Lol. Level 69. What a dork.

  • @Xendritch said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3099904#Comment_3099904

Good for you we had different experiences, I got toxicity for playing killer several times a night and then I would get toxicity from teammates for telling people not to do that towards the killer as survivor.

I keep playing because the core game play is fun to me and I don't let bullies dictate what I do it's not that complicated.

Can't you just shut the messaging off though? If you're that triggered about what type of messages you're receiving and getting them in droves, shut the messages off.

Not that that excuses their behavior, but if I were getting that much hate consistently, I would do something about it besides complaining on the forums.

  • @IronKnight55 said:

Idk. I'm not having fun even if I'm escaping, especially if the killer throws on a bunch of gen slowdown perks. Gens need to go back to 80 seconds, tunneling/camping needs to be looked at and maybe a few changes to some of the recently changed perks on both sides (DS, SC, Overcharge, etc). I'll be happy if they at least do those things. Longer gen times are killing it for me... it's just sooo boring.

I've probably only played about 10-12 survivor games since the patch and 2 killer games, so very small sample size, but I agree. The game is less fun. Sure for the most part the games have not been terrible, save for a couple of games where there was an early suicide/DC. But it's just a little too slow paced for my liking. I would have preferred shorter gen times, but a secondary objective like finding parts to repair the gen. That would at least be a little bit of an interactive slow down.

I guess at that point it would almost have to be a new game, but I think a lot of what they've done in this update has limited interaction while making the boring part of the game (holding m1 on gens) the primary focus.

It's definitely a different game, and a bit less fun (so far) for me. Which is a part of the reason I'm just not playing it as much.

Thank you for the ad hominin and accusations of lying, very useful comment you've made here. We'll just bury our heads in the sand and pretend toxicity was not previously a massive problem in the game and that is hasn't gone down since the patch I guess.

I play plenty of killer and maybe have gotten legitimately bullied in like 30 out of 1,000 games. I've gotten hate mail, but maybe only 3 or 4 that I've actually reported for harassment (either #########, n word, or gay slurs).

You and I have a different idea of what the word "constantly" means.

Again, you should be bullied 0 times and told to ######### 0 times. But if you were consistently being bullied and told to #########, and you kept playing this game in spite of the harassment, that's pretty mind boggling to me.

  • @Xendritch said:

Yes because playing killer before and getting teabagged and cliky clicky and told to kms constantly the number one thing I was thinking before was "these survivors must really respect killers".

If that happened constantly, you would have quit playing a long time ago or you actually relished that sort of thing.

No one with more than thirty brain cells or an ounce of self respect would fire up a video game where they were constantly getting bullied and told to kill themselves.

Yes, it happens sometimes and should never happen, but please cool it with the hyperbole and woah is me attitude.

  • I have everyone p9 all perks. I don't plan on leveling any of those players up anymore. Just capping at 2 mill and saving it for new survivors.

I'm playing less and don't need to keep spending bp on anyone I have prestiged already.

I know not everyone is in that boat, but if you are that's my advice.

It takes 14 seconds to lose a perk slot / hex and as killer you only have 4, survivors have 16 slots and boons can be used by anyone even if they dont waste a perk slot for it, but why are we arguing about boons again? There's enough posts about boons in this forum

I dunno why we're talking about boons again. Ask ausanimal who I was responding to.

Killers have the same problems with boon totems unless killers bring in a perk then survivors can keep blessing over and over again with no limit to how tames they can do it until you kill the survivor that is running the perk we/devs need to find a middle ground between the two that does not include perks.

Ok. Does it take killers 20 seconds to snuff a boon totem though?

No joke. I'd love to see these guys play Friday the 13th where there are voice coms where I can literally laugh and trash talk. Plus all the funny dance emotes. And if course your traditional tea bag from time to time. These guys would uninstall in a second.

To prevent a literally free escape. That design is horrendous. There needs to be counterplay to an "I win" button for the sake of fairness.

How is that any different than NOED giving you free kills?

I look at it the same way. I pretty much played with three perks for the entirety of the game. Now when I need it it's just gone? That doesn't make any sense.

Dead Hard's nerf was best part of update.

But they nerfed Calm Spirit, Pharmacy, Botany for no reason. These perks were so rare already. And Self Care's nerf is joke tho.

But worst part of patch was nerfing DS twice. End game part is fair but it should be 5 seconds again.

I rarely run DS because I don't always get tunneled and I hate missing the skill check. That said, if you don't have to use it until end game (or purposely save it) why should it shut off?

I see a lot of people saying what you're saying, but I just haven't heard any reasoning other than "I get why it stops at end game", which isn't really a reason. Again, not saying specific to your post.

  • I haven't had many games since the update since I was on vacation and a little burned out anyway, but my experience is pretty much if all survivors stay in the game I usually escape.

If one DCs or suicides early, we lose (or maybe I get lucky and get hatch). If survivors actually had some thick skin and competitive fire, this might not be so bad.

That said, some of the slow down builds have been very boring and tough to deal with.

  • Fair point. I believe healing is the same type of deal of someone is running sloppy. If it takes longer to do something you should score more points.

  • @StickyB said:

I've always been under the impression that a dead survivor, regardless of method, is a kill for the killer. But everyday I meet more and more survivors who will hide to die to endgame collapse or crawl to a corner where a teammate died so you can't reach a hook to then be bled out, and then proceed to claim that the killer didn't get their 4k or in some cases, that they won.

What's everyone opinions on this? Is it just salty survivors grasping at straws or do you genuinely not consider a kill a kill unless you're hooked.

I crawl to a corner because I want the survival points for wiggling out. Plus it's kind of funny.

Considering that your comparison is DBD = UNO/The Game of Life, I can't say I see an adequate argument. It ignores the nuances of focusing on the game itself by derailing about an unrelated subject matter. They're both games, which is a broad generalization. That does not make them reasonably comparable. And I don't care about being cringe. I care about having an explanation for why I think as I do.

I said I can understand a lot of situations where survivors DC. If you want that to mean that I personally DC every match, then that's you inability to read what I wrote.

You are part of the problem to me, where people either think all DCs/sui on hooks are valid or that all of them are unacceptable. My point is that things happen in the match that make it understandable at times if you pay attention to what's happening for that player. Likewise there are situations where it is completely ridiculous to DC.

Sometimes there's a point where you/another player recognizes that the match is a loss and decides just take the L. And sometimes people decide to take that L too early. And both have been happening quite a lot more often, typically with soloq players who have been getting the short end of the stick for a while with the updates.

Yeah. Sorry. I'm not part of the problem. I don't quit in video games and I don't support people that do because it's childish and it ruins everyone else's game.

You do. We can disagree of course. But ultimately the solo experience can be ruined by killers and/or survivors. Killers are trying to kill so they will run over powered perks and addons. They'll use tactics that aren't fun in order to win. It sucks, but technically it's their right to do so. And they're your opponent so as much as it sucks when they play tactics that aren't fun to go against, they're trying to win the game.

If a survivor is going out of their way to ruin their fellow teammates games by going out of their way to lose faster, that is a major problem.

And what else would I compare a game to, besides another game. Like the board game analogy is so crazy. Get a grip.

  • @OpalescentHare said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3090941#Comment_3090941

Wrong. You sound like the people who posted that unhook attempts should be removed and DCs should have a minimum 30minute penalty.

I definitely share in that users thoughts. It's not about going in to the match thinking "I'll just give up," it taking in information during the match and recognizing that it's been 3 minutes, no one else has popped a gen, no one is working on a gen, and no one is coming to help you. Or that someone DCd at the star you you have no interest in a 3v1 all match. Or its early in the match and the killer is already camping. It's giving up on that match in hopes that the next one is worthwhile.

I'm that guy you're referring to. And I stand by what I said. It's not that hard to complete a match of dead by daylight. If you need to quit every time there is any shred of adversity that's a you problem that you're transferring over to the other four players in the game. It's weak sauce and actually embarrassing.

I have only played three games since the update since I was on vacation. I'll hold my opinion until a play quite a few more games, but if it gets to the point where I can't escape or it's so rare that I'm no longer having fun, I'll take a break from the game. Not like a DC or suicide break from the game. Like an actual weeks/months break from the game. That way I won't ruin it for everyone else.

Like honestly this whole "take my ball and go home" attitude is straight cringe. Do you guys play board games and just quit as soon as you "know" you can't win?

that happens less to me than teabagging. and if a killer does it its more of a good feeling for the most part because they didnt like me. I dont play toxic so they dont like me due to loops. and if they are just doing it after having an extremely good game then they are a sore winner. but most players with lots of hours who are good are usually humble or just dont find any point to being a jerk to rub it in peoples face. its always the worse players. seems like youre defending it

Lol. It happens less because there are 4 times as many survivors than killers. Basic math.

  • It comes out in five minutes.

  • I tried playing as killer yesterday (just got back from vacation). I never loaded in after about 10 minutes. I switched to survivor. I just didn't feel like waiting.

Killer times have been longer for me for months now, but usually just around 6 minutes at most.

My wife and her friends are taking a break from DBD as they just keep getting rekt and they think the gen stacking perks are overtuned. I'm sure others are too. I'll keep playing, but likely not as much as before.

That would be my guess as to why the killer queues are longer.

Not liking doing and gens and disliking being tunneled can both be true at once. I happen to prefer chases as I find gens boring and monotonous, however, being tunneled means you don't get to engage in all other aspects of the match i.e. being altruistic and helping other teammates, totem searching, etc. I like to be chased, but when you're being tunneled it denies you the opportunity to reset and have a breather as being chased can be quite intense. Also, 9/10 times you get tunneled you end up being sacrificed (which is worse since the DS/OTR end game nerfs) so it also denies you, most of the time, the opportunity to escape the trial.

Being chased is fun. Being chased 24/7 and taking all the heat off the killer knowing they want you out of the game is not fun. There's a difference.

Exactly. What makes survivor more enjoyable than killer to be is that I don't have to be on the entire game. Sure doing gens/totems is not exactly a riot, but I can sort of shut my brain off for a bit before I have to take any aggro. If you're just getting tunneled. Sure you're having the most fun in chases, but there is no break besides the time you're on the hook. And it's relatively short lived and then boom, unhooked, bt hit, and back to hoping to get to a loop.

Also, I don't need to win every match, but I do want to play a bit. When you get tunneled, you're very much likely going to play a shorter game.

That said, I usually don't get worked up about tunneling unless I'm playing swf. That's also annoying. Cool. I got rekt by a strong tunneler, now I can sit around and wait another six minutes before the game ends. Another minute or two of my teammates using the restroom after or changing their load out. Another minute or two of lobby time. It sucks. As a solo player, you can just move on to the next game quicker at least.

If my game has survivors on the 2nd hook and 5 gens left, I'm sorry, I am killing myself on hook too. What's the point? I just get ready for the next game.

Loser behavior. There is always a chance to comeback. And even if you don't comeback and win, it may help your fellow teammates escape.

It's a PvP game. If you don't have the energy and ability to hang, play something else.

As a Killer I saw a Nea the other day who was by and far the best player on the team. I went on one chase with her, she clicked, teabagged, and connected every stun she could. I was thinking 'Oh man this Nea is dangerous, I need to be careful with her.'

I gave up on chase after breaking several pallets and moved on. A minute or so later I ran into her again and secured the down. Put her on hook and she suicided right there.

'What...? But why? You guys were beating my ass. You were doing so good!'

    Confused as heck.

So many games this happens and it's like, #########. You were his first hook and we have three gens done. You couldn't just stay in the game a little while longer?

This. I'd rather go against 100 facecamping bubbas in a row than huntresses. I'm so tired of them.

I don't know if I'd go that far. But it is pretty demoralizing when you get 3 huntresses in a row or 4 of 5 games are huntresses. I wouldn't say this happens every day, but it isn't uncommon either.

They all slug for early pressure and usually win with 4 gens left, unless they're really bad.

    But so it goes sometimes.

I honesetly never go against Blights, a Nurse every now and then, and WHERE DID ALL THE HUNTRESSES GO!?

Apart from them, I see a lot more Tricksters for some reason, Spirits and Legions are pretty common for me, Plague has been popping up more, and I'm not mad, I see a ton of Billy's in lower ranks, shudders Bubba.

Nemesis is pretty common, Pyramid heads every now and then, I see a lot of the good licenced killers (please buff my Sadako PLEASE)

Apart from hardly anyone touching Hag and Artist, I think we have a pretty good killer spread rn.

I get all your huntresses. You can have them if you want.

    Do we though?

Thana received a small buff, but too insignificant to really have an impact. Most slowdown perks got nerfed like Ruin, Pop and Pain Res which really just leaves perks like Overcharge and Call of Brine. Overcharge really isn't any good and Call of Brine remained the same. Considering hardly anyone complained about Call of Brine before, I doubt this one perk is what causes all the trouble. In the end, all the survivor needs to do is tap it to stop it from regressing and no one runs Dragons Grip to combat that anyway.

Killers stacked slowdown perks before this patch and those slowdown perks were even more effective than they are now.

Do I think it would be a lot more fun if players were limited in picking perks from a specific category (like slowdown perks for example)? Sure, but I don't think it's comparable to Forever Freddy at all.

You're not taking into account the mending time though.

    "Many killers did fine before."

If you want to define Many as Nurse and Blight then sure - those two killers did fine but they are insanely more powerful than the rest of the killer cast.

"The game was never heavily survivor sided"

You want to check your facts? Let's take a poll from all of the largest big name DBD streamers who play both killer and Survivor well. Know what they will ALL tell you? DBD is survivor sided and always has been (/insert astronaut meme here). I'm guessing you didn't play in 2016 when there were infinite loops? Did you know that there are old clips on youtube where killers were chasing a sole survivor around the cow tree for 5-20 minutes?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3073361#Comment_3073361

Before today survivor skill was based on how well your SWF communicated information, how well you could loop pallets and how much time you could get in a chase by using DH to make it to a new pallet.

Some people play solo so they can't use SWF info. Some people never learned how to "read" how to gain frames on a killer during chase. Some people only knew how to press "E" to make chases take 20-60 extra seconds when they made a mistake.

I had a lot of games today that were 4k but I had one game that was a 1k. To be fair it was the most unfair map in the game and the spawns were all separated which is the literal worst case scenario. Also they were a very efficient SWF team.

Who cares what a streamer thinks? Think for yourself.

This makes a lot of sense, if the fun factor is absent then I agree. But before you take time off, remember like any other balance update/killer release, it’s normally unusually sweaty the first couple days much less hours. Hang in there

I haven't even played it yet. Just got home from work. Heading in vacation tomorrow. I probably won't even pick it up again until Monday. Maybe I can sneak in a couple of games tomorrow though, we'll see.
