You no longer get stuck on hills so that's nice. The graphics updates are great but for some people they cause huge frame drops.

Literally all you have to do is play the game to get it. If you don't play often dont expect free rewards
You have to play a whole lot within a limited time frame. If you include tome challenges, you also have to play in unconstructive ways, like bringing Open Handed or looting 5 chests.
I agree that there just aren't enough rift fragments awarded currently, but I don't think the devs will do anything about it, since that's how they make money.

Yeah it's not a good term since actual crutches are something that helps you do things you can't do otherwise, like yknow, walk.

Shoutout to the Nea on Glenvale who didn't realize I had All Seeing and repeatedly tried hide by to crouching in the tall grass.

I got the devour Hope challenge done WITHOUT the most op offering in the game though and the obsession challenge is stupid. Technically it means to play 10 killer matches and hope the obsession doesn’t escape. But that doesn’t mean you need to bring an ebony mori for 1 person to die. I played 10 normal killer matches and got that done as well.
I tried the DH challenge quite a few times with no success, eventually I slapped on an Ivory mori (kill 1 survivor since that's all I need) and got it. Of course, 4 matches later I got to 5 stacks on Wraith after slapping DH on as a joke. Considering it's so close to the beginning of the tome I can understand why killers would want to cheese it to get it done faster.

I came here after playing Overwatch and I have to say....it's exactly the same amount of toxic. I can't imagine forums for games like LoL or CS:GO being any better.
-
When I was running a quad hex build (for Reasons) Thrill helped me more than Retribution.

I've got over 4k hours in this game, been playing since 2016, and I've seen maybe 5 hackers. If that.
"Huge Problem"
I've got ~300 hours and I've encountered a hacker (who admitted to hacking even) so maybe there are more hackers at lower ranks who get banned before reaching red ranks (assuming based on your playtime that you are rank 1)

He's just lucky I guess
-
I wonder what Rin and Kazan would have to say to each other if they met...
-
If you run Unrelenting + Mad Grit can you just hold down M1 and chainsaw through survivors?
-
Waiting until DS stun is fixed so survivors will run it again because I don't have Nemesis 😥
-
I often forget I'm running BBQ and get no use out of the aura reading, so yeah, wouldn't make a big difference for me.

Pop and Ruin if I'm feeling really tilted. You can also run Thrilling/Surge, though I don't.
-
The killer died too? 😂
-
DBD tournaments have all sorts of rules and restrictions to make the matches fair, so you can't 100% draw conclusions based on tournament gameplay, where things like addons and perks are limited.
-
About half the time, depending on who's left and where the hatch is. If the hatch is right next to me I will close it, but sometimes let them open the gate.

So, as a solo que player. I have the potential to screwing over SWF players if they play a map offering ?
Pretty much yeah.
-
That's like saying Wraith is so OP that BotB limited him to purple and below add-ons 🤔
-
Freddy is up there for me. Also Huntress, it's a toss-up of whether the match will be a total stomp or not.
-
Since the chances that killer and survivor would offer the same map are so low, you are almost guaranteed this token will work as a survivor. Why you would use it is up for debate, but for example if your teammates tell you they're using an offering to go to that map you hate, you could use this to negate it.
-
People don't want to give up DS for UB, and don't want to run both together since it's considered too sweaty.
-
There will always be toxic players, that's just the sad truth. No way the devs can patch that out.
-
In my experience Monstrous Shrine kills people too fast to be useful, you want teammates going for unwise basement saves which doesn't happen if thy die too fast.
-
Was there any mention of QoL improvements for spectating? I'm watching the BotB VOD and you just can't see anything from Pyramid Head's point of view.
-
If all 4 survivors are using it, I could see it being fun to use, or if it lasted longer, but I don't know.
-
I had a dream last night they reworked Adrenaline more or less as follows:
For each safe unhook or protection hit, gain a token (up to 3). Press the activate ability button while not moving to use one charge. Each charge heals half a health state over 3 seconds.
This would not allow survivors to pick themselves up but would let them recover very quickly while downed. It would also be able to take you from the injured state back to healthy with the use of 2 charges. Because you have to be standing still to use it, and it takes 3 seconds, you couldn't really pop it during a chase like styptic or anti-hemorrhagic. It also rewards objectives without being a free ticket out the gates at the end of the match.
-
You can skip the intro if you don't wanna watch it. Personally I like that the scene of Jake holding two wires together is now accurate to the game after the graphics update.
-
I think they mentioned in the latest stream that they're working on #2 right now so that's something to look forward to.
-
I think it's for situations like if you're fairly certain a SWF is going to send you to a survivor-sided map, so you can take preventative measures.
-
I wouldn't list Solo Survivor as easy with the current matchmaking. Medium at least.
-
I just think it's neat!
Plus there are constant daily rituals/tome challenges/new builds to do.
-
Spirit with good addons 😜

2). Consider any possible skill gap.
This is so important, especially in threads about whether something is over/under powered. It needs to be balanced at all skill levels or the game will stagnate.
-
Haven't played the new Gideon yet, do you have a before and after comparison I could check out?
-
Here's a fun way you can use it. Again, you can see it's very skill check reliant.

Why bother when you can just tape a tiny piece of paper to the middle of your screen?
-
Repressed Alliance might be helpful in this situation. If you're SWF communication and positioning can help, too.
-
Wouldn't Beast of Prey be more useful in an actual chase? Or Tinkerer, if you can time it right?
-
If a baby survivor manages to be the last one alive I'll give hatch...It's hard though when they won't stop running away/struggling.
-
DBD should have elderly killers. 100 year old evil dudes. Hex: Osteoperosis

sure just skins one may have 100 keys while others dont. The items are their powers so if a person is a blendette main with all perks and a ton of broken items such as keys and bnps, they go in as a different survivor and a swf decides grab a key lets get hatch well hell i dont have any on nea.... you see the difference in possible outcomes there? A survivor with keys vs one that has none..
If survivors were locked, a SWF who decide to go for a hatch play could simply leave the lobby and queue up again.
-
The deciding factor is gonna be how many cakes you have saved up 😂
-
Considering the latest killer and survivor are associated with Dyer Island, it would be cool if they got a prison map. Seems unlikely though, as it would have gone through PTB by now.
-
I would definitely listen to her mixtape 😜
-
Oof. At least with Freddy and Hag you have a chance to teleport in scenarios like the first two, that last one sucks though.
-
I hear he is the new killer.

If we're being honest here, and we're talking about SWF depip squads, then you've already lost the debate. SWF don't use these perks because they're communicating to each other, they know where the killer is at all times and don't need OoO, they don't run it. It's really more of a solo survivor perk.
Please tell that to the SWF with names like 'campme' and 'tunnelme' that ran it to scout my trap locations and disarm them, I'm sure they'd be happy to hear that.
