Slugging is gonna be a major issue later on then.

Many killers feel clunky and unresponsive, but especially the Twins. You miss a survivor, free kick for them, even so long after you pounced. You hit a survivor with BT, they take the hit and kick you. You get looped around a single obstacle, you fly off into the distance, or hit onto it instead of the survivor and they kick you. You try to go for a far shot, you end up at the survivors' feet and get kicked. You successfully down someone, you have to wait 5 seconds still to switch to Charlotte. Survivors run in pairs, you down one of them, the other kicks you, they're both up and running before Charlotte can get back to them. The killer is a living counter to itself.
Don't forget Charlotte bodyblocking doesn't work as good anymore.

I'm an avid Hag player and don't think she has any unique add on problems. It's like any other killer: there's no reason to run anything other than their best add ons. Range/setting time or Rusty Shackles. But that's not a problem unique to Hag. Nurse is that way with range/recharge. PH is that way with range add ons. The list goes on.
Rusty shackles remove her gimmick to grab survivor's camera.

I was pretty sure they had them removed at some point. Can somebody confirm this?
I think BHVR should remove them again.
Yes they were removed to test skill rating.

I don't get why BHVR doesn't hide grades in the scoreboard. I don't play a lot of survivor currently, so I am always at a really low grade.
One time some folks even bothered to create a message group to bash me because I was the sole reason the match ended with a 4k for the killer. They were sure I had done nothing but hiding all game and didn't belong in that match as I was Ash IV while everyone else was Iri I, so I obviously had to be much worse than they were.
So that match I ... did solo 100% of 3 gens + 70% of another gen of 4 gens done total. In between, I did run the killer for awhile without going down (unlike the others, of course no gen popped during that time), found and cleansed two hexes and unhooked two survivors safely (no time for more because someone has to do gens, I should have, because "safe unhook" was an unknown concept to the others). But I was the sole reason we lost, because Ash IV.
I'm low on survivor as well but I can say mmr is busted. If anything they're probably upset cause they can't handle a loss. They have no one to blame but themselves.

I bought the $15 linked Blight skin. I hate the linked cosmetics robbery and I'm not really a Blight gamer. So... I literally wasted 15$ dollars on something I don't agree with (linked cosmetics) and especially on a killer I don't even play that often (Blight). Can a psychologist explain what is wrong with me?
I bought a spirit head piece even though I never play her or bother too.

Because if I'm gonna lose a match, I better do so while looking fabulous of course.
Same as survivor and killer
-
A good survivor wouldn't go down to a bubba's chainsaw.
-
Both sides are harassing each other. As killer I get told to died. As survivor my friend get spammed by party invite just because they escape thru hatch.
-
I like to run Stbfl and rancor on every killer even the range killers. I get bored easily so this is now a staple in every build.
-
Slug can be prevented by running tenacity, unbreakable or even soul guard.
-
He even had monstrous shrine. I respect that killer now
-
You don't want to taunt a good deathslinger. He will reel you back in quick. Run blood warden with a mixed of remember me and no way out.
-
Otz is a strategist player that play both side. He know what trap is going to take you out as trapper. As survivor I don't think i seen him run the same meta as other. He find way to incorporate different perks. You can't compare him to someone who is a regular.

If I body block you as a killer you can report me cause you're stuck in a corner.

"Don't try that equivalent BS." says the guy who compared Hexes and Boons in the first place...
Killer got better and better over the years. Before Boons were introduced, Killer has been the easiest it ever was. CoH makes it harder for Killer and I am ok with that. And honestly, I dont think I really lose games because of Circle of Healing, the only times where I remember that is when it is used on multifloor Indoor Maps, and I am even saying that they should only work on the respective floor.
But you cannot really say that Killer is hard. It is harder than Survivor, but overall, DBD is a very easy game.
I don't think I lose against boons that much either. I just don't like the whole bum rush with borrow before I leave the hook.
-
The twin blood and guts is my favorite to run. Too bad they don't have more cosmetics
-
Trickster is my default due to his laughing of everything. Don't get me started on his stun animations.

I'm running pentimento+ruin, Scourge hook:pain resonance and BBQ. Sweating?
I have to use a combo of 2 perks to make pentimento work, which btw NEVER came into play the entire match. Cause smart survivors never cleanse anything anymore. So again I ask: sweating? :)
Most Artists don't even have proper perks to complete a build yet, unless they are lucky.
Yup definitely a sweating build but you aren't playing the top 3 killer with the most op addon.
-
-
Her hit boxes are something else I gotta admit. A scary huntress is one that can snipe you from shack to that gen in the cornfield.
-
Just like how killers can't admit they're using a sweat build survivors can't admit they are sweating too.
-
Can't take this game serious with all the bugs.

I think a lot of people immediately disregard VHS for 3 main reasons.
1. The gameplay is closer to Evolve than it is dbd. It's not a survival/escape thing, you are meant to hunt down the "killer" and kill them 4 times to win.
2. If it was closer to dbd, that would make it closer to the dozens of similar games that have come out and failed completely to sustain a player base in the last 5 years. After seeing enough "DbD killers" come, fail to find an audience and leave, it takes a lot more than a closed beta to make me believe this one will be any different.
3. It appears to be PC only, which in this time and place is not helpful to making a splash.
Actually Friday is still fun and could have been something if they didn't get sued.

Does Trickster count as a weaker Killer? If yes, I like playing him quite a lot.
Had to go trough every Killer but the most weaker ones are quite boring to me as well.
Trickster count as weak so same here I like using him as well.

Best tracker and annoyance to survivors especially iron will users. Bad killer with latency issues like any other.
-
@RoboMojo said:
Maybe this is unpopular, but I'd honestly place him in C right now. There's just so many things outside of the Killer's control that can screw him over. Some examples being, latency (which messes with shock timings), dead hard (whether intentional or not, it is actually possible to dead hard his static blast to avoid being affected by it) and to add insult to injury, COH can hurt him too.
It can only hurt him if they aren't in madness 3.
-
Both sides feel entitled to everything.

@ThanosPAWG said:
I use it on Oni all the time because it makes more blood orbs spawn.
Actually it doesn't make more blood orbs spawn. Two of his add-ons allowed him to increase frequency and orbs drops.

Turn it off if you're on console but no matter how you play you will always have someone complaining about something.

STBLF is a fantastic perk on any M1 based killer. It's the epitome of why I enjoy killer - it's interactive, it forces you to make decisions and it has counterplay.
PYWF...it can work but it feels like you need to take 2 steps back to take 2 steps forward.
I've never really experimented with Rancor.
DL is one of those 'emphatically okay' perks that I just struggle to fit in anywhere.
If someone run adrenaline and you get Ds into end game they are now getting one shot into a mori. Most obsession won't risked it so they stay next to exit gate. You are pretty much guaranteed a kill at the end of you find the obsession.

You cannot troll if DCing still gives a ban penalty.
You don't know the killer you are facing, if he has a toxic history or not.
Killers that have a huge survivors DC rate are just toxic. When a killer has 30 to 40% DC rate on 1000 trials, sure this player must be removed from the game.
And you can check some Fog Whisperers streamers, some of them have DC in pretty much all their games and why ? Because they are camping and hard tunneling. I can't even understand why BHVR keeps the partnership with such players. They show the bad side of the game/community and give a terrible example on how to play the game.
As a survivor i'm at a MMR where it is impossible to have a fun game, camping and tunneling 1st hook in like 80% of the trials. Expulsing a survivor that could not do anything but being tunneled for 5 minutes and die is not a tactic, it's just bullying, being toxic and it's like harassment.
As a killer, i never camp/tunnel and in the end chat the survivors often thank me for this... some even tell me that there are almost no fair killer left.
You want someone to be banned for playing a way you don't like. Can we banned those players who bullies the killer and run the same loops? If someone dc it cause they can't accept the loss. I had dcs as both survivor and killer's side.

The very fact that you even thought of bringing up a nerf for iron will makes me angry, like honestly speaking. IW is not OP and it is certainly not unbalanced. It is the one thing that helps us very minutely in the game of ever-increaisng campers and tunnelers.
No, tell me what do the killers want next?
a) Nerf BT so that survs only get 3-5 secs of protection?
b) Nerf spinechill for it to not give the 6% bonus to gen repair?
c) Nerf kindred for it to not show killer's aura?
d) Nerf we will make it and boons and reduce their healing speed by 50% each?
e) Nerf all sprint burst perks to having a cd of 200 secs?
f) Nerf ds even further, maybe even remove it?
g) Nerf keys, like just take them away and the hatches too
h) better yet, nerf surv speed to 3.9 and killer to 4.8
And even after all this, keep complaining that the devs keep this game surv sided and not killer sided. Like at what point do the killers stop crying and complaining? No seriously, I need to know this.
You killers can camp and tunnel and debate that it is a strategy that you use. Well then let us keep our strategy and perks as well. What's wrong with IW? It certainly does not "BREAK" the game like some would say. Unless those some are spirit mains, who desperatly need the old stridor countering IW...
Keep Iron will and I'll just play doctor.

My Favorite add on was pre-work class photo and the Nancy masterpiece. Straight shot to Dreamland and free auras against the awake survivor.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/295400/the-real-reason-people-play-swf
Mm.
I run into 4 main types of SWFs.
- A couple of friends playing together to fool around and have fun. Once I've realized that this is the case, I'll usually play along. If you aren't BM, I'll try to give you a good, close game and I may even let you escape.
- A group of people of mixed experience levels, queueing up to gain an advantage. It could be a rough game, but you tend to be overly altruistic and once I've got a kill, you fall apart.
- A group of people of very high experience levels, queueing up to gain an advantage. You'll bring map offerings and a full set of perks, and will abuse infinites and rotate people onto gens in a coordinated fashion. You are probably going to stomp me. Hopefully you at least give me a few hooks so I don't depip/get no BP.
- Either of the latter, but queueing up with the express purpose of stomping and being jerks. You are often a streamer. You probably have one or more members who've deliberately sandbagged their MMR to bring the group average down. You'll send me to Haddonfield, flicky macro and teabag the entire game and just make things unpleasant. If it looks like I'm giving you a run for your money, you'll DC.
The main issue with SWF is that it creates a very difficult balance situation. Killers that are strong enough to challenge coordinated SWF groups are going to be difficult for solos to deal with. Killers that solos can reliably beat struggle against SWFs.
I'm not sure what the solution is. But the sheer power that voicecoms and being able to coordinate perks and addons gives is a problem.
I face every single of these group and I'm the one group who messed around to the last hook with my friends
-
That alot of time on their hands
-
I want it cause it similar to prop hunt and dbd.

I gotta hop on the Nurse band wagon here. You can't loop a good Nurse. You just can't. Also how is Artist winning out of the others? She isn't even released yet.
If you seen gameplay she can shut down that loop by placing one bird from one side and wait for the survivor to be aligned then hit them with it.

As Trapper main, the map had no place to trap. Except the gates area...work every time. It was the only map that you can hide traps at gates.
You can trap the drop from the second to 1st floor.

Both sides get boring for me to play. I don't care enough to get high cause it mean nothing.i usually see the same builds on both survivors and killers.

We have a competitive game where there are two opposing sides. And the game says how to win for each one.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/CKB6TJS5H247/killer-27s-win-x.png
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/6I6AT2WVZ8XX/survivor-27s-win-x.png
And at the moment, the hook concept is failing.
It not competitive in the slightest I'm sorry. Siege is more competitive compare to this. Yes they are doing mmr but the devs have stated it goes by playtime not by how good you are. If you are competitive then by all means get the 4k you want or escapes.
-
The cube is considered a item so yes. If you want to be an annoyance then run hoarder and Franklin to grab the cube.
-
Gonna stop playing until this is over too.

There is no goal except for your own personal goal for the game.
