  • Don't act like you never had forget to press Ready in your life. Sometimes it happens to everyone. Be patient for 1 minute. This minute is actually very impotant. You can notice that you didn't take offering or item, or maybe you didn't change your build or character because you were memeing last match. Or you see ping jumps to higher numbers than usual. One minute is not a high price to make youself confident that everything is ok.

  • Why this thread is in off-topic and not in the lore discussions?

Paulie had the same method yesterday, when he gave out 2 codes. Latency still does its thing, sadly. Few seconds is nothing if you are just watching and communicating, but it's everything if you need to enter information from the screen in a matter of milliseconds, because there are 50 to 1000 other people like you trying to get the code. As I said, you need to have a perfect internet, which should not be a factor in giveaways like this.

I didn't watched Paulie, but I guess he is quite popular, so it's a tough competition to try redeem codes from streamers like him. Maybe you better find someone with about 100+ viewers. And about latency. I'm actually live in Kazakhstan and my latency should be about 40 ms worse than yours. And if I managed to redeem code, you can make it as well.

  • Different streamers have different methods to giveaway codes. Some streamers give all code except two last digits, and give last digits in 3 minutes. CrunchyEggrollz streaming right now. He was slowly typing letters for everyone could get it. He was typing so slow, that even console players could get it. There was only 150 viewers and not everyone tried to redeem code. It's a mornng in Ukraine right now, so you have a chance, because some fog whisperers streaming at night, some in the morning and some at evening. Someone said there is more than hundred fog whisperers, and not all of them really popular. I wish you luck!

  • OMG I GOT IT!!! CrunchyEggrollz streaming right now and he typing codes slowly for everyone could get it. I set dbd to windowed mode and typed with him and I got it! There was only 150 viewers so competition was little.

  • Yesterday I tunneled David because I was mad at him. He was hiding all match and I found him only at the end. While every survivor was already hooked twice, this son of a ######### was successfully avoiding me. And he pissed me off when he let Dwight die on hook. I was so far away from hook chasing Bill, But Feng and David let Dwight die on second stage in the middle of the map, where everyone could unhook him. Dwight was srtuggling to the last second. Sometimes I can tunnel on purpose if survivor piss me off this much.

Are you sure you not playing unfair to killer if you are getting tunneled EVERY game? This is really hard to get tunneled in this game, because vast majority of killers still playing fair. At least to me when I play survivor. Of course there is exceptions, but it's rare. Is it me lucky, or we are having different definitions for tunneling?

  • Tunneled? Maybe you mean Chased? As killer I don't care about tunneling. If you are only one survivor on my screen, I will chase you even if you was on hook recently. If I chase you and someone bodyblock for you, I switch my target to bodyblocker. I respect protecting survivors. If someone unhooked you and hide, I will chase you because I have no choise. Your death will be your teammate's fault. You can call me a tunneler, I don't care.

I would recommend what wordeywolf said i got it on second try im on ps4.

This is good idea but unlucky it's very inconvenient time to launch dbd for me right now.

  • This is so impossible. I can't type fast on english because this not my native alphabet. I tried to launch dbd in windowed mode and copied an auto-recognized text within 20 seconds, but it was already redeemed. I give up.

"I got 10k more BP than playing as optimally as possible! Nevermind I had to spend 3k to make the other 7k happen, in hopes that my entire team or SWF also brought the offering, because otherwise, it would be a net loss!" Proud of you, bub.

Survivors never get 32k, unless killer is farming and you got lucky to get gens, chases and altruism to maximum. Optimal survivor game never involve all emblems because roles separated between all survivors. Let's count it's 25k for playing optimal. So I got 17k extra bp minus 3k for an offering and it's still 2 times more than 7k. And almost 5 times more than I paid for an offering.

I was playing solo and there was only 3 offerings including mine. While event is active you will often get event offerings even in solo queues.

Usually offerings for 3k bp can't give you more than 4k back if you maxed its category. Why would you bitching about event offering that gives you an opportunity to get much more than 4k bp?

I agree devs got lazy with this event compared to previous halloweens. But it's still a decent bp boost anyway.

  • And about halloween skins for auric cells. Didn't we all get 1000 auric cells for free when get into ingame store recently? Or is it only me?

  • When you burn event offering you will get extra bloodpoints for every event gen repaired by any other survivor. I got 42k bp when we repaired 4 event gens and escaped.

  • Dwight crow charm has a limited use and editing of post takes time on moderation. But I hope it will work because I don't have spare time to watch fog whisperers in my time zone.

  • You mean 2 killer challenges and 3 survivor challenges in upper left corner?

  • I played vs Pyramid head yesterday. When he noticed me collecting flower juice, he just ignored me, but he clearly could give me a hit. When I finished flower I gifted him my flashlight and he hit me to show that we are not farming here. I respect that act.

  • I'm actually sometimes see survivors who remember me as killer. So it's works both ways. Killer is not anonimous after match.

  • Weird thing. When it's easy - you call it boring. When it's hard - you call it unfun. What is fun for you exactly?

  • Don't worry, new tome will be released tomorrow and then people will play Billy more for next 70 days.

Same as Hag was rare killer and after previous rift survivors realised how strong she is and how much they hate to play against her.

  • @Elcopollo said:

I am not a dev, but as a person who "plays some killer games" almost daily I feel like I can comment here.

Funny thing is - Billy hasn't even changed that much, aside from the new overheat mechanic, which doesn't even hurt anyone but facecampers. Skillful Billies are still curving and hitting like crazy without any problems. And this "I go back to playing after 1 year" part gives you zero credibility, as you are basically stating "I haven't played for a year" i.e. "I am not that good at the game, because I haven't played for a while".

    Git gud, brother.

P.S. Trapper and addonless Wraith are MUCH worse than Billy. So are Clown, Pig, Legion, Mikey and many others.

P.P.S. Devs do play killers on their streams. Guess you are not even watching something you are commenting on.

I was playing Billy whole weekend. Didn't played him for ages. I never facecamp but I get to overheat quite often. Because I use chainsaw for attack and for covering distance. 4-5 unlucky tries in a row and you got to overheat. 2 big travels and you got to overheat. Now I need to watch heat bar and when it close to overheat i have to walk without chainsaw for a while. Or I have an option to overheat to get slightly faster cooldown. I don't see big difference between usual cooldown and cooldown after overheat. I wish cooldown after overheat was much faster to make getting to overheat more strategic.

I know I need more practice. But not only facecampers get overheat.

  • Hag is harmless on corn maps. Gens are too far from each other. She needs a buff.

  • I'm huntress main. Can't say i'm a good huntress because I still can miss all 5 hatchets sometimes. But I can give some advice.

Patience. Most important thing you should learn as huntress is be patient when you wind up hatchet. Survivors often expect you throw hatchet right after wind up. Hold hatchet for couple of seconds longer and you notice survivor juking. Aim carefully and shot when you see his next move clearly. Fully charged hatchet is so fast is literally unavoidable for next 15 meters if you don't miss. Being patient at throwing hatchets is a key for being good huntress.

Meelee hatchets. Huntress is type of killer who rarely use her main weapon. Hatchets are more important than axe. When you hit someone with your main weapon, you get long ass fatigue. When you throw hatchet you are almost instantly ready to make another throw or hit. So when you get close to survivor and he trying to juke you under your feet, don't hit him with axe. Throw hatchet and finish him with axe. Don't worry if you miss. You have multiple hatchets to try again. Sometimes huntress doing crazy instadowns without any exposing tools.

Reloading. Huntress is slow killer, she is harmless without hatchets. If you have no hatchets and survivor reached safe loop - give up the chase and reload. Don't commit to long chase without hatchets. Trust me, you will waste more time chasing without hatchets than if you reload and find survivor again.

Perks. Huntress is more like m2 killer, so she doesn't benefit from m1 perks. Such as Sloppy Butcher, STBFL, NOED, etc. I'm personally using 4 detection perks. BBQ, Nurses calling, Discordance, Whispers. You can change some of that on slow down perks like pop or ruin. Whispers is best tracking perk. It doesn't really help to find exact location of survivor. But when whispers are not lit, you know that no one there. So you don't waste time looking for survivors in wrong places. It helps find survivors quickly at match start. And it helps to find last survivor after 3k.

Longshots. Good huntress can do crazy longshots on open maps. Survivors rarely expect ranged hatchet from other side of map. If you see someone's aura with BBQ or Bitter murmur, and you know there is no big obstacles on your way, give it a shot. Sometimes it works and this is probably best feel in the dbd. It also works when survivor break chase with you and running far away. If he doesn't look behind he don't expect you try to snipe him. Always pay attention to horison line. You can often notice clueless survivor who didn't see you yet. Also since lullaby is not directional you often can see survivors trying to hide on wrong side of obstacle.

I have no problem killing myself on hook I just wish we could prevent others from saving us while hooked. god knows I just want out of the match. I dont want to reward some killer an extra hook because they decided to play a killer that is miserable and not even remotely fun to go against.

I'm always play fair as killer. Does it stop people like you from suicide? No. Because you are never happy. Immersive teammates - suicide. Bad map - suicide. No gen pop in first 60 seconds - suicide. Why are you playing if you don't want to play? You think you saving your time, but actualy you wasting more time looking for easier games.

If everyone is downed and unbreakable has already been used, then people are just waiting, sometimes minutes at a time for crows to reveal their location to be hooked. You say "What if someone can come and heal you" -- but you're ignoring the other side of the spectrum; what if someone CAN'T come and heal you? Is there any harm ending the game there and then? Why are you so against people just moving on to the next match?

And you say weak reason, but there have been many, many matches where I've been slugged until bleed out. I ran DS, Unbreakable before it was "smol pp" build along with Tenacity (meme build). So I have the anti slugging thing down, trust me. It doesn't help though if a killer wants you slugged and there's only one other person left and they (correctly) do not come to save you. 4 minutes I just sit there with 3 crows flying above my head.

Being held hostage may be rare, but rare doesn't mean it's not a problem. I rarely went up against iridescent hatchets -- doesn't mean they aren't OP or okay.

"Just avoid the bug" is not reasonable. I couldn't avoid being hooked in the basement when the basement bug was around, which would often cause us to be stuck in a match for 15+ minutes unable to play because if the killer just hooked two people there and intentionally left you there, well, good luck trying to get out without leaving the match.

What about being stuck indefinitely in lockers. Do I just not use lockers ever? That bug is still around.

How about being stuck inside pallets? Do I just never drop pallets as survivor? How about when getting stuck inside generators, do I just never kick generators as killer?

What about getting stuck in the "being healed" state indefinitely bug, which has been around since 2016, which causes either the killer or the survivor to have to DC to end the match?

This game has so many problems with it that "just avoid the bug" is unfortunately not useful when many of the bugs are literally unavoidable.

And yes, I agree, the bugs should be fixed. Unfortunately, Behavior never fixes bugs. They just do band-aids and then pretend the problem is gone. I've literally made a post a few months ago listing over 100 bugs that still aren't fixed in the game and I think fewer than 10 have been fixed since then -- and many more have been added.

More than 20 seconds, and over the course of dozens and dozens of games, saves several hours of people's time. Can attest to this from having played Identity V, which matches are shorter and have a far less "ending game" animation than DBD does. Wasting people's time, which is valuable to them, for no reason, literally serves no purpose. There is no benefit to this.

I disagree that sometimes three gen scenarios are the most intense games. That doesn't mean they can't be the most intense, but the vast majority of my three-gen scenarios was a killer who would never commit to chase, and just camp all the gens. One match in Underground complex it was just me and two other survivors, and a demogorgon. Literally 25 minutes later, nobody has been hooked because the other two survivors were just hiding, the generators were always being regressed because he was just outright camping them, and never committing to any chases on me when I was trying to do them. I legit tried to progress this match for over 25 minutes and got nowhere.

Just because a match had length does not mean that its quality was good.

The match lasted so long that I just gave up and let him grab me -- then instead of hooking me, he just dropped me and proceeded to just patrol again despite the fact none of the gens were worked on. Just DCed and quit playing at that point. Waste of 30 minutes of my time and I had to leave.

Does that sound fun to you? Because I assure you, it sure was one of the worst experiences I had in this game. A surrender option may have spared me the vast majority of that "######### show". And such scenarios have happened more than once to me and I know they have happened to other people as well.

Identity V has a surrender option, Identity V plays pretty damn similar to DBD (BHVR even helped make it), and the worries and behavioural tropes you are fretting about do not happen in that game at all. Hell, even in League of Legends, it's quite rare to see people throw just because a surrender vote failed. I certainly do not go "######### this" and throw a game just because other people don't want to move on, assuming the match is still developing (unlike the above example). If the other people do not want to move on, I will be happy to play a match out to its conclusion, but at the same time, if a match is literally over, and there is literally nothing left that can be done to change the outcome of the match because ALL options have been exhausted, then I do not want to be sitting there for 4+ minutes doing nothing. That is not a valuable use of my, the killer's, or anyone else's time.

It's why pros in Chess will surrender even if there are pieces still left on the board -- because they know what the outcome will be, and rather than dragging the match out needlessly when the outcome is 100% guaranteed, they surrender, because there is nothing left.

Matches may end in DBD when all survivors escape/die, but the outcomes of such matches can sometimes be decided and cemented in stone minutes before that happens.

I uderstand you want to save time. But with surrender option you will get something more terrible than 5 minutes wasted.

I am against surrender option because I am against surrender itself. There is so few scenarios when you clearly can't do anything, that even no need to make surrender option. You сan just DC and wait 5 minutes or wait to end. 5 minutes is not so much if you not doing it all the time. And being slugged or sandbagged are so rare scenarios, you will never get more than 5 minutes penalty for ragequit. And there is a lot scenarios where surrender would be annoying.

You don't like killer? Not your teammates' problem.

You don't like his playstyle? Not your teammates' problem.

You don't like his add-ons? Not your teammates' problem.

You don't like his perks? Not your teammates' problem.

You don't want to be moried? You still have little chance.

3-genned? Play. You still have chance to win.

Match is about to end? It will end soon without surrender.

You being slugged? It never take more than 4 minutes. You still can win.

Everyone being slugged? It never take more than 4 minutes. Someone can have perk. And it also rare scenario most of the time caused by survivors' mistakes. Pay for it or dc yourself.

Someone gives up? It is not the reason to give up for you. Still winnable scenario.

You got teammates making mistakes? It happens, you still can win.

But if you had surrender option, your teammates would annoy you with voting for surrender everytime something goes wrong. This is why I don't want surrender be an option. Because survivors often give up when they still have good chances. So much more often than actual unwinnable scenarios. Surrender option will become another "legit" way to disconnect, same as suicide on first hook. And I am absolutely against it.

  • So you have internet issues and you want to get into next game with same issues over and over? What a good reason to remove dc penalty!

Maybe I'd like to surrender because I don't want to be slugged for four minutes.

Maybe I'd like to surrender because the killer is holding me hostage and it sucks having to DC to escape that.

Maybe I'd like to surrender because a bug is preventing me from being able to move and my opponent is not progressing the game in any meaningful way and I shouldn't be trapped in a game where the only escape is to take a DC penalty and void my blood point earnings.

Maybe I'd like to surrender because the game is pretty much over and we'd just like to move onto the next game.

Maybe I'd like to surrender because it's Legion/three gen Doc and it's been 30+ minutes already.

Lots of reasons why a surrender option would be welcome. Games are about having fun -- not about whether you win or lose, but it can be annoying being literally stuck in a game you know you can't/won't win and the opposite side intentionally or not, drags it out for 5, 10, or even 15 minutes. Which has happened to me as both survivor and killer many times.

    • Maybe I'd like to surrender because I don't want to be slugged for four minutes.

Weak reaon to give up. Rarely killer slug more than one minute in total. In that time you can be healed by teammates or unbreakable. If it happen often to you, make your build focused on slugging. If it not happen often, just play an unlucky match, what a big deal?

    • Maybe I'd like to surrender because the killer is holding me hostage and it sucks having to DC to escape that.

Good reason but also extremely rare. Vast majority of players want to play normally and trolling is not effective. Not worth surrender option. You can just play this one unlucky game or wait out 5 minutes dc penalty.

    • Maybe I'd like to surrender because a bug is preventing me from being able to move and my opponent is not progressing the game in any meaningful way and I shouldn't be trapped in a game where the only escape is to take a DC penalty and void my blood point earnings.

And you suggest to make surrender option instead of fixing a bug? When hill glitch was an issue everyone was aware of it and players with good memory never got stuck twice.

    • Maybe I'd like to surrender because the game is pretty much over and we'd just like to move onto the next game.

It's over only when you died or escaped. You want to save 20 seconds? Just wait it out, what's the rush? Not worth surrender.

    • Maybe I'd like to surrender because it's Legion/three gen Doc and it's been 30+ minutes already.

So this is just a trial that take longer than you want. Why don't you just play it? Play 1 match or 3, what the difference if you already playing? 3-gen scenarios are most intense games, how are you not having fun?

There is so few scenarios when you clearly can't win. You almost always have a chance. Take a chance and win is absolutely great. Take a chance and lose is still better than surrender, because you won't regret you didn't take a chance. If surrender option will be added, it will be abused everytime someone have slight harder game. You will surrender everytime you think you can't win when actually you could. And this is annoying for both sides. So many times someone died on first hook and we made 4 gens after this. We could clearly win if he stayed in game. Give this survivor surrender option and he will try to convince other team that there is no chance to win. And then he will suicide on first hook as usual. Get into lobby with 3-man swf and they will quickly ruin your game with surrender option. Even if you need 4 voices to give up, they will spam you with consistent voting. And then they will blame you for being bad teammate and reason they lose.

  • I don't understand surrender mentality. It is so incomprehensible for my tiny little brain.

Why are you playing if you don't want to play? Why no one can explain me this? Is it so complicated that I never understand?

Is it because you so affraid to lose but you want to lose by surrender? Is it because you want to save your time but you ready to waste your time by looking for easier game? If you are frustrated by losing how is giving up helps you?

You lose anyway, why don't take a chance to make a wonderful miraculous comeback? Don't you know how good this feel? When all team is downed and someone has unbreakable it often prolongs game for 3 gens. One perk in hopless situation can make killer's life so much harder.

I played csgo before dbd, and it has surrender option. When your team is demoralized it is much more frustrating than lose. Even when my opponents giving up I feel bad for them. Because it is lose without trying. And sometimes I had unbelieveble comebacks when my team stayed strong. Even my opponents did crazy comebacks when we were winning. And I didn't felt bad for my team in that scenarios. I felt proud for opponents. Dbd absolutely can provide such moments as well.

How tight of tights are we talking here? Like, super tight where everything is outlined? Or more of a regular lounge type?

    Any of that are welcome.

  • I want tights for every character. I have tights for Dwight and I would like to have it on every survivor and killer.

  • Some Autoheaven maps are best for Huntress. Blood lodge for example. Low obstacles, couple of good cliffs, very few trees. This map is nightmare for any different killer but huntress. Survivors can see you coming no matter how sneaky you are.

Indoor maps are best for Hag. Good for majority of killers because survivors often get confused where killer coming from (except midwtich which is only good for hag, nurse and maybe spirit). But it is barely playable for huntress, deathslinger, hillbilly, oni.

Hag can easily win on any map. But some corn maps if absolutely unplayable gor her because gens located so far away from each other and there is absolutely no tight corners which you confident survivor get into. This maps are so wide you can't put your web efficiently to cover several gens and still have ability to teleport. Gens are just so far away.

Corn maps are nightmare for most killers because of corn blind. But if you are range killer or killer with high mobility, and you have some good tracking perks and perks for aura reading, you have a decent advantage.

In my opinion most balanced map is Badham. It has strong and weak areas, which is good and bad for killers and survivors equaly.

You can't really tell which map is survivor/killer based because killers have different powers that can benefit from different maps. It's some kind of rock-paper-scissors.

  • Michael is worst Entity's servant. He got some add-ons that allow you kill survivors without hooking and it always displease the Entity.

  • As yellow ping huntress I know that feel.

My internet is good and stable. I never lose packages. But I live far away from available servers. So sometimes latency from my side make some shots look unfair. Survivors sometimes blaming me hacking or using vpn. I understand that. But I can't quit playing huntress. I like to learn longshots, curves and tricky holes in certain loops. Devs will add server hit validation soon and hopefully I will receive less trash talk about my internet which is perfectly fine. I played Huntress when server hit validation have been tested and it was pretty good.

  • Yes, it's pretty hard one. Especially for red ranks.

Problem is you should not let them die on first hook. 8 points for sacrificing everyone + 1 point for 4 guys being hooked. 1 point for at least 9 hooks combined.

I played Hag to make it easier. I'm not a Hag main but she is pretty good at sacrificing.

huntress has a 1s windup and an audio queue to tell you when shes readying a hatchet when slinger can ads in 0.13s and shoot a projectile 12m in the space of 0.1s, just a reminder that the world record reaction time is 0.15s

    @Pepsidot said:

I'm not going to read every comment, but essentially it's because huntresses have to commit to a charge up time.

You hear the audio cue and have time to react to her animation. With deathslinger you don't if he shoots instantly. When I say she has to 'commit', I mean she can't just fake a shot without a survivor getting another loop. Whereas a deathslinger can because he can aim his gun pretty much instantly and puts away his gun instantly too. A huntress is slowed down when putting away her hatchet.

Deathslinger has audio clue for aiming as well. It's a quiet metallic sound if he far from you. When he is far, you can react. Harpoon has travel time and needle size hitbox. When he is close, he will just hit you normally.

Yes, he has much better zoning potential if he catch you in the open area. But every 110 killer should compensate his movement with his power. 110 killers always have better power than 115 killers. If you nerf his power, you will make him absolute trash killer. And he is already in bad situation. Helpless on big maps. Harmless against more than one survivor.

Only Deathslinger that doesn't fail his shots is dangerous. It means player is good. But actually any good killer is dangerous. So why so much complains about good Deathslinger?

Alright, if we only talk about good players, then good Huntress player is way more dangerous. Huntress and Deathslinger are both 110 speed killers. In ideal conditions, when God Huntress catch 4 casual survivors in one open corner, they probably all gonna be injured and maybe someone downed. When God Deathslinger catch same 4 survivors in same place with same conditions, he would injure 2 of them at best. Or maybe down one. The rest survivors would run so far away while Deathslinger using and then reloading his harpoon. He physically can't do anything to threat them all.

  • If you try to attract killer with vault spam or waving, you just show him that you not doing anything to progress game. That make him not to worry about you. You show him it's a 3vs1 game. Good killers prioritize survivors that repair gens. Especially good gens in the middle.

  • Is Killer queues are ok? I haven't played killer recently but survivors queues actually seem longer.

You talk like everyone wants to play this game 24/7 and learn every little detail about how things work. It's just a fact that there are a lot of casual players that dont waste every hour of their life on DBD. Some people occasionally wanna come on and have a good match which often doesnt happen, because more often than not the game is one big bundle of frustrations.

You either invest a lot of time to learn things and be frustrated at how good this game //could// be if any sort of love went into making it and listening to the fanbase instead of corporate greed.

Or- you play ocassionally which means you're okay at it but it's still frustrating because of the many balance issues and rng elements to it.

its a lose loose situation, really.

In my opinion core of frustration is lack of skill. You gonna be frustrated more often if you often lose. And when you give up, you just lose intentionally. Why would you give yourself frustration on purpose?

OP is frustrated by bad manners from survivors. And there is two options to have fun in game: A. Become better player; B. Don't take game seriously and goof around if you can't win. Spam your bell as Wraith. Spam chainsaw sound as Hillbilly and try to fly off the cliff. Spam your roar as Pig. Teabag as Ghostface.

Of cource there is very few people who playing dbd for a living and I am not one of them. But I think having every opportunity to improve in game is better in the long run. I also love to meme around when it's not ruining someone's expirience. I agree that this is my personal point of view but I really hate to see people giving up. No matter if it's a survivor suicide on first hook or it's a killer opening gates.

  • >>survivors get everything from a chase and killers get nothing.

Actually survivors win not because they loop. They escape when they repair gens. So don't be surprised if you spend whole match chasing someone instead of controling gens.

Pallets. Survivor can't make you respect pallet if you not affraid of being stunned. Swing through the pallet when you can. You better get short stun and get rid of pallet for good. If you respect pallets survivor make you waste more time than if you just eat the pallet.

Mindgames. Your mindgames is very important. Hide your red stain by moonwalking. Fake your possible direction when survivor can see you and change it back when he hide behind wall. Make survivor think you respect pallets and swing on second loop. Change direction when survivor can't see you. Fake breaking a pallet to make survivor run away from loop. Every successful mindgame is a hit. Injuring or downing is all good.

Pressure. Yes, you are killer and you need to kill survivors to win. But you also need to keep in mind what to do for not lose. When you chasing someone and you hear gen repaired, don't ignore it. Drop chase, scare survivors from gen, give them hit, keep them busy with evrything but gens. Switch target if you see someone not injured in your sight. Two injured survivors is always better than one downed. Don't focus on one survivor.

Generators. Gens are important but don't waste your time kicking gen if someone is nearby (except if you have PGTW). You need 3 seconds to break one gen. Regressing is so slow it barely worth it. Survivors can waste your effort by slightly touching gen. There is potentially 4 survivors and you can't prevent all 4 survivors from touching it. When you kick gen you give survivor time to gain distance. If gen has less than 10% of progress, you don't even need to worry about it. If it has 90% you can consider this gen is lost. You can't prevent it without PGTW no matter how hard you try. They just switch to another gen if you decide to camp that one. You can kick gen if it's more than 50% of progress and you know with whispers that no one is nearby. That would probably give you some valuable seconds.

Slugging. Don't pick up survivor if you see someone nearby. Downed survivor remain downed for 20 seconds, use this time to hit this unlucky guy. If it takes more time, drop this chase and get back to slugged survivor. You just made 2 survivors not busy with gens and maybe also waste time of someone else who was distracted trying to help to downed survivor. It doesn't mean you have to slug everytime. It is kind of scummy. Slug only when you see easy target nearby.

TLDR: Sorry, I accidently got carried away and made this ultimate killer guide.

  • Where are you from? Maybe it's because you playing right from your office of google data center?

  • Please, don't give up. When you get against good survivors, take every minute to play vs them. Try to learn moves from stronger opponents. Learn their fakes. Pay more attention to scratchmarks and predict where would they run next. Look for them everyhere, in corners near you and on horison line. Hide your red stain by the walls to give them less time to react, mindgame.

But never, NEVER open exit gates. Try to the end no matter how good they are. Even if you know you don't make 4k, and even 1k, don't give them easy game. You will learn a lot from games like this and there gonna be less hard survivors for you in your next matches.

Teabagging is nothing. Don't take it to heart.

... its because thats what he is called. If you are asking about that space between Ghost and Face, well its a legit stylization of his name : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghostface_(identity)

Atleat he did got his real name, unlike Leatherface which is called The Cannibal ingame but even the Dlc is called Leatherface. And well the "The" is just for consistency because well thats what they do.

Weird. Leatherface is not even name of the movie. They should call it The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Chapter.

  • We are actually already playing against duos and trios quite often and you can't really tell the difference from solo players in their gameplay. Most of swf playing casually and not doing anything toxic. So not every swf deserve special treatment.

Yes, sometimes we got to play against Faze Clan level swf. No matter which side you play, sometimes it feels like opponent is not playing fair to us. I actually think dbd would become much more boring if there was no impossible challenges like this from time to time.

  • Majority of Killers want their games casual and not sweaty. So they just turn off swf for good.

And swf is left to play against masochists, mori-users and extremely toxic killers. And there is not so much players in this category.
