When you offer this semifinished imitation of tea instead of classic brewed loose leaf tea, you may insult your guest with inhospitableness. This is why it considered bad manners.

Seinfeld chapter with Seinfeld theme chase music and offscreen laugh after every hit or pallet stun.

I will try, but I doubt it's better anyway. FP is pretty situational compared to SB. I don't often see someone trying to bodyblock. It happens like 1-2 guys in 4-5 games.

And I also need to disagree about endgame.
The polar opposite of current Freddy, old Freddy was at his strongest after the last gen popped, PROVIDED the player knew what they were doing with Freddy.
However I will agree that Adrenaline was a big problem though.
Can't agree about endgame. Without Remember me and noed freddy often had hard time preventing gates open. Yes, it was little bit harder to wake up without gens. But when old freddy got to gates which was already almost opened he would need to drag survivor to dreamworld first. Survivor was invulnerable and free to open gates with no fear. You couldn't feel yourself more helpless with any killer in this situation.
-
This game is good for newer players who don't risk to lose huge amount of playtime with half progress. With my 2k+ hours in the game I want to keep it as it is.
-
I don't really like new freddy, but I didn't like old freddy either. His main advantage was great but his main weakness was terrible. Not being able to land a hit on survivor instantly is ridiculous. Adrenaline was so annoying. Survivors could heal up and wake up after last gen done. At the end of the match old freddy was completely harmless. That make sence why his perks focused on endgame. But he was absolute king of free hits on stealthy survivors. Only sprint burst could counter this.
-
I'm actually come to exit gates to end it faster. I don't care about t-bags. And I like to practice longshots from distance if I play huntress.
-
They made a mistake if they let you slug them all at once.
There is 2 types of 4-man swf. First is seal team six type. They playing ultra compitent and effective to end game with minimall loss as fast as possible. Rare killer lucky enough to deal with them. Second type is bully squad. It's a group of people having fun no matter what the result. They rarely care about gens and escaping. I guess you get a bully squad.
Letting them beed out is toxic but this is actually what they wanted. Bully squad players know they deserve it. They expect same treatment from any killer. They expect mori and facecamping everygame and I don't think they feel bad when they get destroyed. They having fun in their own way, so don't feel bad about them. Even if they get salty in post game chat, don't trust them, it's a part of their fun.
-
I don't mind farming if match gone wrong and killer just let us farm. If killer farming from match start I usually want to end it as fast as possible and escape. Unless I doing some ridiculously hard challenge. Next level of tome will be available tomorrow and it has much hard challenges for survivors.
-
I think you may keep some unsafe pallets and destroy strong and god pallets.
-
I can't really tell. I'm a Huntress main, but I would perform better with Hag.
-
Noed is fair against survivors who doesn't care about totems. Best on m1 killers that can't injure survivors with ability. Worst on killers with built-un instadown ability.
I wouldn't recommend to run noed. It's a -1 perk slot until endgame. Maybe you better take one more perk that help you before all gens done.
-
I don't think they will ever stop clicking. But you are risking. You have to look down in game to avoid it. It is the best option, because you avoid flashlight and still can orient on your path.
-
No, they don't see props and comments you send. People could use it to send toxic messages at the end.
But it would be great, if we had at least prop counter showing number of people who give us a credit.
-
Because game can't tell if it was intentional or not. If losing connection didn't give penalty, unfair players would abuse it by turnng off internet or cable unplug.
5 minute penalty for one random disconnection is not a big price for preventing that abuse. But if you losing connection often, you better fix your internet and not ruin games to other people.
-
When I see fellow survivors at match start, I crouch couple of times to everyone. After healing I crouch 1 time to thank survivor. I can crouch couple of times if I miss skillcheck in coop repairing to say sorry.
When I want to show respect to killer, I sit down and nod. Or I give him my item if I have one. But I never t-bag to killer, because he may consider it as taunt.
-
I rely on bbq very much. I played adept PH yesterday for the first time. 5th rank. They did separate gens almost every match. To complete adept I was need to hook instead of caging. I missed bbq, because I never knew where to go next.
I got lucky when I get bully squad with flashlights. After one successful flashlight save at the match start they were confident that i'm a noob. So they did a bunch of stupid misplays such as instant farming from hook and commiting to gens while being injured. Thankfully they didn't suicide and let me have 9+ hooks.
-
Use Enduring for easy grabs then.
-
I still play billy sometimes. I really like to drive and hit someone across the map. Yellow boots is the best add-on for that.
But I hate overheat mechanic. For me it is game changing. I get used to M2 instead of W. Now it's 2-3 big travels in a row and it goes to overheat. This is annoying. M2 only playstyle was popular among Hillbilly mains. Now it's literally impossible.
Yes, you still can play as billy casually. Walk to save charge. Use M1 when it's possible. Several missed M2 attacks are brutally punishing.
Playing billy is not as fun as before.
-
I don't really need p3 cosmetics, but I prestige characters to p3-50 anyway. Grinding is not a hard work. It's just a way to spend bloodpoints. I prestiged several favorite characters to maximum with all perks. This is basicly completed goal, but I still keep earning bloodpoints, so why don't spend it to less favorite characters?
-
We probably get few christmas charms like snowman and stuffed red sock. And ugly sweaters for new characters.
I really like Dwelf hat, I wear it sometimes when I want to meme as survivor.
-
You shall get at least teachables from free characters to make some good builds. You don't have to play this characters, just spend bloodpoints.
There is not really builds but good perks:
Prove thyself (Dwight) is good if you do gens in coop.
Iron will (Jake) and Empathy (Claudette) are very addictive perks. Iron will helps you to hide even if you injured, and empathy gives you ######### ton of good information.
Sprint burst (Meg) is great perk. Don't try to save it by walking, use it everytime you can. 40 seconds cooldown is not that much and even if killer find you, you always can run away without it. Better for antitunneling than DS, because you make big distance after hook.
Adrenaline (Meg) is so OP, it's almost broken. It's looks extremely situational, but actually it saves you almost everytime.
Dead hard (David) is common second chance perk that helps you to gain required distance in loops or get away from hit if you misplayed.
Kilnred is one great free perk for you and your teammates.
-
Rank purple-red. I'm playing survivor just for challenges. Tunneling happen to me very rarely. I don't really remember when last time I got tunneled. Maybe this summer, or september. But it was og tunneling with complete ignoring of other survivors and objectives. When I asked him why he tunneled me, what did I do, he replied that he shouldn't care about my feelings. He tunneled me because he felt like it. I understand he is just such a person, but it hurts.
Camping is rare as well, because if killer stay by the hook without reason, gens will fly away. Camping when all gens done is situational and it's out of question because killer has nothing else to do.
As killer I extremely rarely tunnel on purpose, and there should be a good good reason to make me tunnel like there is no tomorrow. OoO, clicking, tbaging, spaming vaults is not a reason. Hiding all match ignoring saving Dwight is a good reason.
I don't really camp, but when I leave hooked person I often turn to look at the hook, because it's often someone inpatient trying to unhook instantly. And I often see someone running to the hook. Is not really camping but punishing survivor's inpatience. If you have BT it doesn't mean you have to use it everytime. Unhooking outside terror radius is always more secure, unless it's a stealth killer.

Okay I get why they changed it to make it so the killer could close the hatch.
But...but why did they change the first part. That needs to be reintroduced to the game and would make it incredibly easier with all the people who dc, have internet or crashing issues. It makes no sense that they removed that from the game.
Not really. Normally, when survivors repair first gen, killer get 1 hook. Maybe 2 if he lucky. Having 1 person entirely dead for price of only 1 gen done and 4 gens untouched is pretty killer sided situation. Only potato killers could lose if someone disconnect while loading back then.

This might sound really weird but if there's a lot of bodyblocking going on, try out a perk like Forced Penance (The Executioner, Level 30; survivors who take protection hits are broken and can't heal) or Mad Grit (The Legion, level 35; you have no cooldown on missing a swing whilst carrying someone, and whenever you land a hit whilst carrying someone (when they bodyblock you), the wiggle timer is paused for a couple seconds (2/3/4 depending on perk rarity I believe)).
I have seen low rank killers that refuse to hit bodyblockers entirely. And it always ends bad. It's a good idea to hit bodyblockers, even if it cause survivor escape from grab. They giving you free pressure when all of them are injured and not doing gens. Sucks if there is all gens done, but hitting bodyblockers is always a good idea.
-
Couple of advices I wish to give myself back when I was rank 10.
- Don't respect pallets. Don't be affraid to be stunned for couple of seconds. Swing through the pallet if you can reach survivor. Make survivor waste pallet even if it cost you a stun, and it will save you much more time than constant respecting of pallet.
- Don't worry about first gen. Survivors always do first gen in first 30-40 seconds of the match. Gens will slow down naturally after first hook.
- Survivors often run dead hard. If survivor doesn't show any different exaustion perk, wait out for dead hard before swing.
- If survivors walking when you aproach him, he probably have sprint burst and baiting you for swing. Don't swing, run further untill sprint burst is wasted.
- When you chasing someone and see survivor repairing gen, drop your chase and switch target to gen jockey. Yes, killing is important to win, but protecting gens important to not lose. You can catch up to lost survivor eventually, but you can't unrepair gen.
- Don't waste your time on kicking gens without PGTW if you see survivors nearby. This may seem crazy, but trust me, it's useless. They will undo your regress in no time. But if you don't waste your time on kicking gen, you will reach survivor much faster. (Surge can kick gens for you if you have this perk and you are m1 killer)
-
Blight's t-pose did make this game so broken and unplayable for survivors. I glad they nerfed it.
-
If some survivor didn't load into match, match started with 3 survivors and 4 gens need to repair. If 2 people load into match, they needed to repair 3 gens.
Hatch couldn't be closed and it often caused stupid stand off, because killer could grab survivor while he jumping into the hatch.
-
After repairing 5 gens you could stay in the match and repair rest 2 gens just for bloodpoints.
-
Enduring is great when survivor stun you from wrong side of pallet and vault in panic, it's an easy grab. Also it makes you not respect a pallet even if you should. It helps so much against greedy survivors. Very easy to addict.
-
Why being nice matters? It doesn't if you don't care about others.

I faced several walls when I started playing. I started on potato computer running dbd 15-20 fps and it was a really hard way. Once I slowly got to green ranks, devs updated ranking system and made earning emblems harder. That was so frustrating I wanted to cry. But then I got newer computer which could run dbd on ultra with 60 fps. Playing dbd become so much easier, I instantly got to purple ranks. But then I stuck between rank 5 and 4. I managed to get rank 1 with Spirit to get achievement and stopped caring about ranks. Now I play whoever I want and sometimes I get to rank 1 with killers I like to play. For me it was a hard way that took me little less than a year. And I always have been surprised how people manage to get rank 1 for less than 1 month from first launch. It makes me feel like I'm not competent for this game. But actually everyone learning in his own pace.
-
I like constructive criticue and couching genre but there is not much videos like this. Dbd youtubers often drop this idea after 5-10 videos. This genre is hard because you should be competent for things like this, and you probably get critical feedback if you give bad advices.
But most simple and good idea is run some meme builds and get fun games.
-
Just pretend doing gens. When he get chase you, pretend you running away from him. Pretend you looping him until all gens done. Then pretend opening gates and escape. This is the best way to quickly end game you don't enjoy and don't piss off your teammates with unsportsmanlike behavior.

Ah, I haven't see these before but here's the problem. I was inspired by this picture of Anna and Ace.
Which is titled "You my husband now"
When I went to find the pic it took me to a facebook page that said this image was infact inspired my samnation video. So my story was inspired by a photo that was inspired by samnation. I hope nobody thinks I stole someone elses creation. 😨 I was just trying to give back story to the picture.
What inspired you to make previous story about Clown and Adam?
-
I would unlock Oni, because I love to run across the map more than shot people with harpoon or bump into walls. My favorite killer is Huntress, so I should more enjoy Deathslinger as ranged killer. But actually I like Huntress because she can shot survivors across the map. Deatslinger can't do this trick, but Oni can in certain way. Blight is hard to master and I also don't find him as fun as Oni.

Well, it depends. What do you consider "tunneling"?
My definition of tunneling is essentially throwing the game to get rid of one person at all costs, eating their DS, attacking their BT, just chasing them relentlessly until they're dead.
But according to some survivors I've seen, "tunneling" is any time they're attacked at all after they've been hooked, without someone else going on the hook first. And sometimes even if someone else already went on the hook. Even if they're the only person I can find.
Although, there are a few times I might tunnel intentionally:
- You're running OoO and I suspect you're in a SWF, which becomes obvious very quickly
- You're being exceptionally obnoxious
- I'm losing badly and need a way to immediately and substantially increase my pressure to prevent a total loss and to stall the game, generally at this point your team has several gens done so I know you've already got points and likely a pip so I don't feel quite as bad, but I'd still prefer to avoid it
- It's the EGC and I have to choose someone to die, because there's no time to play nice once all the gens are done
- I forgot who was recently on the hook and am swinging into a pile of survivors
First of all #5 is not intentional. Second it is not tunneling, because you gave survivors time to breath. You can't hook survivors in correct order (1234-1234-1234) because it's literally impossible and inneffective. Sometimes you hook same person because you found him twice in a row. Not because you tunnel him off hook. You can tell the difference.
-
I forgot one important detail! My survivor build often include Sprint burst which is true antitunneling perk. Once you got unhooked you run with 150% speed for 3 seconds. It makes you such unappealing target that any killer never bother tunneling you. Unless you run into a trap or into a wall. But it can't happen every game, right?
-
>>I just don’t appreciate getting unhooked and then being chased immediately. I guess just that. Being chased after getting unhooked. Like, not having time to do anything else but run for your life.
Pretty much correct definition. But are you sure it happens every game? Like EVERY game? For me it happens once in dozen of games. So I'm really curious.
If it happen to you every game, you are really unlucky. BT is free meta perk which can be found in every game, which often discourage killer to chase you. Or you often doing something to piss off the killer. Like teabagging, pointing or doing any objectives in terror radius instead of run away.
Most of the games killers ignore unhooked person considering he has borrowed time. If killer is nearby, rescuer is often injured, so it's more convinient to exchange survivors, because rescuer 99.99% doesn't have DS or Endurance status effect. Chasing you after exchange is not tunneling, because you got a lot of time to gain distance or get to safe area. If you tried to hide for this time in 5 meters away from hook, don't blame killer for tunneling. Blame yourself for underestimating killer. Often killers not even near the hook. Most of the time survivors blame killers for tunneling even if they had all the time in the world to heal and run away, which is not tunneling anymore.

Agree, cage is much better.

There is also one exclusive avatar. Do you find it good as well?
-
What is tunneling in your opinion?
-
This cage avatar doesn't look like something good. Why would you want to have it?
-
New Macmillan maps have some invisible objects. You can unintentionally bump in it with blight or hilbilly. It's annoying sometimes.
-
I enjoy playing killer. Sometimes I play survivor for challenges.
As survivor I hate to rely on randoms that got used to suicide everytime something going wrong. I hate when randoms camping pallets instead of loop at least once or gain distance. I hate when randoms can't find a gen and urban-evading in corner while not even being in terror radius. I don't mind if you get downed in 10 seconds. At least you learning. But when you suicide, wasting pallets or hiding without reason, you are not doing anything to improve and help your teammates in future. I hate to see this.
Killer side doesn't require you to rely on someone else.

I guess when searching takes longer time, match preferences get wider permission. You can get players with higher or lower ranks or you can get on server with higher ping. Or you can get both.
-
I like most ranged powers. For me is Huntress with hatchets across the map. Also worth to mention Oni and Billy for running across the map and down some clueless survivor.
