It will still work in solo queue. It's not difficult to wait 10 seconds until the survivor was unhooked to finish the last gen. What do you think the HUD is for?
With that being said, I don't get why they would reduce the duration of the speed boost. That was completely unnecessary.
In general play this will make little difference. It's not like all 4 survivors are in chase with the killer and absolutely need the 5 seconds extra speed. The health state is what made this perk so strong and it's understandable that this part was nerfed. Now it requires a bit of thinking to make it work in case someone is hooked when the last gen is about to pop but it can still grant you about the same results as before.
You really think any soloq player will wait for a chance of someone having Adre to finish the last gen?! No one would, especially since this perk will be played as often as COH after this nerf. This changes only punish soloq players and make a little difference in swf.
I don‘t care much about the speed boost, but no longer getting a heal of hook makes this perk, which already gives rarely value, terrible.
Most times I only get exhausted by this perk in endgame or I don‘t even get to endgame, which leaves me with only 3 perks in most matches.
You maybe get 2-3 times in 10 matches value from this perk, now even less.

It's still a free heal and a speed boost. All you have to do is don't get caught while your team finishes the last gen.
SoloQ is another problem entirely.
Adre isn‘t free you need to get to the endgame, which is a whole different story. You only get Adre in 40% of your rounds (without counting dcs), that means you waste 60% of your matches for nothing than hoping. Also when it activates you only get value from it half of the time. So there we are you get value from Adre in about 20% of you matches. Now you won‘t get value at all from it!
This perk needs survivors to play well, where the killer gets from value from perks like noed for playing bad.
-
@goodfriday said:
Hey can we nerf noed to only work up to a maximum of maybe just 60 seconds lasting only and remove the movement speed bonus as well then the perk deactivates?
Nope noed should only give the speed bonus than it would be fair. They are gutting a perk, which needs survivors to play well and still give killers noed for playing bad.
-
Both perks are terrible with those changes.
Adre you play a whole match without perks and then you don‘t get it: YAI!!!
Ultimate Weapon → Distortion!!!
-
Still useless for me. I would only play it if it doesn‘t deactivate through conspicuous actions.
-
The devs successfully killed another survivor perk. Now it‘s useless and only good for swf.

I run
Lethal
nowhere to hide
bbq
friends till the end
I kick gens anytime I can for aura
but my old build was
Eruption
Jolt
Call of Brine
Unforseen
so I would melt through 8 stacks VERY quickly. and would normally have a game where the last 3 gen 1 gen is blocked maybe even 2 depending on if they were hidiing and I needed to use nowhere more.
Your old build got killed completely. I just meant it’s very unlikely to run out of stacks as long as you don‘t run eruption and jolt (especially not together).
-
@goodfriday said:
Made for this or rather made for trash=cause the perk is trash is not worth it period. Better off with SB or Lithe. That 3% is garbage even before its nerf I barely felt how 3% gave distance. Only time I see it is vs a doctor trying to use his power on you or 110 killers when combined with hope.
Killers also got something call rapid brutality which is annoying giving them 5% for whacking you. Clowns/Singularities love using this the most thanks to a certain popular streamer. Haste stacking is problem for survivors but not a problem for killer to do so ofc. Average typical dbd.
I see every killer main coming for you now😅
-
Now you can‘t get picked up and you bleed to death.😈

outside of eruption and jolt it still does do something dude.... what game are you playing?
Call of Brine
Pain Res
Overcharge
Pop goes the Wesel
Jolt
opression
oh and nowhere to hide, which I use, you get punished for using it .
How are you playing then? Are you camping a gen from the beginning? I only hit the limit with jolt or teleport killers. It never effects me otherwise.

a lot of corns and they are close to each other. its hard to see the survivors. im talking about this. if we talking about ambience then ''which farmer would leave pallets in his fields and other useless stuff?''
Agree inside of the fields there shouldn‘t be those filler loops instead more corn.
-
Isn‘t that the point of those maps; CORN and a lot of it? In my opinion there is too little corn and too much weird things in the fields. Honestly which farmer would leave rocks in his fields and other useless stuff?

lol um yes it is good, it punishes you for using gen slow. by end game you have like 1-2 gens blocked if you run 1 or 2 gen slow perks like eruption or pop,
use eruption + jolt and tell me it dosent do anything....
eruption + volt
applying eruption is 1 regression event, then eruption + jolt procs thats 2 or 3. your almost already have of the way to the gen being perma unkickable and this is early game.
I don‘t like this system either, but outside of eruption and jolt it rarely does anything.
I only mentioned it, because it was OPs arguing against dejavu.
-
The perk is completely fine. I only ran it as beginner as it had a 5% increase, after I knew where the gens were, I chose other perks. There is no need in nerfing it.
The anti 3 gen system isn‘t really good, it only does something against jolt players.
-
Disagree, I like Map offerings. They are the only useful offerings and it‘s something cool to have. Often you never get the maps you wana play on and then I just put myself there. I hate getting cold wind all day.
-
They could just give us shards for dailies that would help a lot. Currently I treat them like they are not existing.

The parking lot is very strong. There is a shack. Between both are filler tiles, a jungle gym and sometimes even mutiple strong tiles leading direcly into each other.
Personal experience is good and all, but the map is overall one of the worst killer maps in this game. The rework has barely changed anything.
Im glad your experience is better though.
Most of the time the maze tiles spawn without windows, where normally some should be and then you are screwed after realizing there is non. Overall break some pallets and it becomes a huge deadzone outside of main. Most times you can‘t even reach anything and hope for a window in those fake jungle gyms.

But you can absolutely loop Sadako on Garden of Joy
GOJ is in my opinion no good map for looping since its rework. My games as killers there are incredibly easy and as survivor the opposite. The main building is strong, but no killer will follow you there and the outside part is trash.
-
That‘s what happens when there is nothing left to do. All maps get made smaller, less pallets, less windows (most of them just not playable/unsafe) and all perks that supported something else got hard nerfed. People will adept to what is best and works the best.
-
Agree, it‘s also sad that they will most likely remove the bonus bp from distressing too next update.

There is a problem with all 3 categories, and that is that they're either OP or useless.
Too bad, because I like the concepts.
And with Dark Theory, I more or less tried to create balanced Made For This.
The thing is sadly, that behavior’s balance team is very bad at balancing and they take far too long for almost nothing. Like there are so many perks that could be good if they just change one word or the numbers.
Then they introduce many too useless perks, nerf many perks that doesn‘t deserve it and gutt everything that‘s a bit stronger, instead of balancing it in a right way.
@SoGo said:
I really think its a shame that all unique perk types that were added for survivors suck.
:(
Yeah it‘s a shame. But it‘s more like 90% of the perks suck. Especially those.

@goodfriday said:
Remove hook notifications would be another good fix , sick of these teleporting killers or high mobility killers coming back to EVERY unhook they hear, am talking literally doing it willingly because even if you wait till they come across the map they still come back to it to tunnel.
Yeah that would be a good start. At least behavior wouldn‘t encourage tunneling then.
-
As survivor you are basically only there for the killer‘s enjoyment. It‘s a miserable experience. The only time it‘s really fun (as survivor) when you are in strong swf.

If we do get another Stranger Things chapter, I'd like to see Robin be one of the Survivors with Starcourt Mall as the map, but I guess that wouldn't make much sense if Vecna is the Killer.
The house in the upside down would probably be a better choice for a map if it's Vecna. I'd definitely like to see a Stranger Things part 2 though and I wouldn't be surprised if that's a future chapter. I think it'll likely be scheduled for when the final series airs though.
As for any predictions, I have no idea!
Yeah robin would be really cool and the Russian guard

People can also just trigger thr traps on the edge, fulfills the same purpose only faster... It is not like this action that was introduced hurts Hag that much.
I just mean it‘s less likely that someone has a flashlight than someone wipping the traps off.

Oh, yeah, of course, depth. You know what added depth in the game? Old Eruption. I'm sure you liked it a lot only because it added depth to the game. Who care how broken it is, if it added mythical "depth". Like should someone complain about not able to do anything within 25 seconds because killer bring perk? Of course no, it added depth. Should someone complain about not able to use his power because someone can deny it by clicking on it with flashlight? Of course no, it added depth. Strong argument, you make me change my mind.
(But Nurse interaction should have stayed, no jokes)
You don‘t need to attack me!
Then you also agree with me that lightborn shouldn’t give immunity to blinds, otherwise your whole point makes no sense, because it‘s the exact same.
-
I really hope we get Springtrap and a pizzeria map (fnaf) or Verna (stranger things). I have no real wishes for survivors.

Flashlight interaction was one of the stupidest things in the game. Hey, killer, i bring flashlight, so your power doesn't exist anymore.
Nah, never.
Disagree, it added some depth to the game and it gave some counterplay against killers, where you had none. In hags case it was better to have lightburn than a basekit counterplay.

I think it would be cool if when a map loaded, random climate variables would happen. Things such as day, night, dawn, and dusk. Also, is it clear, foggy, rainy, etc? Imagine if Ormand could have clear, light or heavy snowfall, or even blizzard conditions. Variables such as these could make it more interesting and even change up player strategies.
100% that would be so cool, just Imagine having real fog and you only see 6m.
-
They should give us shards for completing dailies. Otherwise I will still ignore they even exist.

I'm didn't say people don't play her because she is weak. So many players hate playing her for a reason. SM has some fans, mains, enjoyers, Hag just doesn't exist at this point.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3684956#Comment_3684956
As i said above, with 4,6 and some another buff, i agree. With 50% of her strength in camping (what doesn't work against swf and good players anyway), it won't be enough.
I hate when playing her that I have to set up traps all game and then they just get swiped away :(
I actually think she is pretty strong, but I don‘t like placing traps. Bringing back lightburn instead of the swiping of traps would make her better I think. I also don‘t think she needs 4,6m/s, but it would be interesting if they test 4,5m/s.
-
I start with invocations: I would make them trade one hook state afterwards and they only need 90s. I think this would make them good.
Then teamwork perks should just activate by being in a certain range like leader without cooldown. Otherwise I still won‘t use them. Same goes for bloodpact.
I keep the boon part short, because I wrote it longer in the other post. All of the perk need bigger changes. The boons shouldn‘t be that loud and shouldn’t require a perk to make them quiet (I would hate behavior if they do that).
Dark theory would become even more useless as invocation.
I like your idea with the more boon perks you got the bigger the range becomes.
I don‘t think most people would equip those perks with those changes. They are still far too weak.
-
@xltechno said:
Honestly, that buff has its merits and demerits, and Hag's downfall in the first place was because the traps could now be erased by the survivor at will, so unless something is done to change that, she will remain the same as she was before.
And by the uninformed, Hag has been made into a poster child for camping and tunnel loving killers. As long as these beginners make up the majority of the playing population, it is best not to expect significant buffs from dev.
Just bring back lightburn instead.
-
Yeah it sucks. There are more maze tiles without windows and killers still say it‘s survivor sided.
-
@tyantlmumagjiaonuha said:
Boon is still a strong park (when used by SWF), CoH provides a fast recovery location by merging at VC, and Shadow Step can create a very strong position when combined with map offerings.
Boon, a weak perk when used solo and a strong perk when used in SWF, seems flawed as a perk design to begin with.
I don‘t even think it‘s that good in a swf. There isn‘t really anything you would get value from, that other perks don‘t do better. Also the killer hears the perk from a mile away and just kicks it and there you are blessing again.
-
Did they really patch it or is it still bugged and has both effects?
Anyway the addon would have been fine with both effects only getting stacks from hocking a survivor with a tape is terrible. Shurely it got only nerfed by the pick rate, but instead of making other addons better, let‘s just nerf it, typical behavior move.
It‘s very sad, that they didn‘t finish their job with Sadako. Now she can get hard countered constantly by good survivors. They took a lot of horror away from her by introducing the Tv auras, which hurt her a lot in many ways. I personally would prefer getting back local condemned, 2s tape insertion speed and passive condemned by holding tapes. I loved her first version and with all the buffs she got, this version would be amazing.
-
@LeFennecFox said:
Boons are just a failed mechanic likely how the invocations will end up. They're either going to be too impactful or not worth running half the time.
I think with some dedication from Behavior they could become good and fair, but I have no real hope for that since all bad perks could be changed so easily and they only touch perks that don‘t need changes.

BHVR should never add more lockers to maps, because that would be an unnecessary survivor buff.
BHVR should create a new killer-only locker, that killers can interact with, but survivors can't hide inside. And BHVR can fill in locker deadzones with these killer-only lockers. That would be the most fair solution.
Are you really afraid of lockers😂?

what's with this thread being made every time someone finishes a game where they saw this combo
I don't remember the last time I saw a teammate run this in solo q let alone use it successfully. That's my experience but I can't imagine it's this rampant problem in matchmaking...
not to mention seldom does it work out. You have 1 person off a gen all game trying to get a save, hit him once and you just made him waste his all that time for nothing???
I use to run this when it first came out but rarely use it nowadays once I realized how much I was contributing to throwing the game for my team...
Yeah, that‘s also my experience with the combo.

I mean that's a bit like bringing a medkit and healing build and going against Plague. Unfortunate, but doesn't mean we should rework her power because of that.
If plage only hits you, you can still heal yourself even tho I would prefer to heal myself by cleaning the infection.
I‘m fine with killer power‘s countering survivors power‘s (items). For me items are the equivalent to the killer power and they shouldn’t be hard counter by perks like light born and calm spirit do.
-
The perk combo is fine. Honestly how often do you play against it(never)?! It isn‘t really easy to get value from this combo and I respect survivors that are actually able to pull it off.
