There’s been a lot more campers and tunnellers recently.
Funny thing is I see people on here complaining about survivors using ds and bt all the time and how op they are but this is the exact reason why those perks are being used so much. Killers complaining about perks that are being used because of they way they play. Ironic really.
I know not all killers tunnel or camp but there is so many Others that Survivors have to bring something in to protect themselves.
Agree, today in particular was disgusting, had to stop playing for the day after like 5 matches.

How 'should' they play?
The same way I play killer, not like an #########. If you win you win if you lose you lose, if you need to tunnel off the hook and bring an ebony, insidious camp, wraith camp, a million other cheap ass ways to play, just to not lose, ingot news for you, your a suck killer and noone wants to play against you, and your "victory" is hollow. Same mentality of someone that would camp a spawn in a game just to win or someone that hacks. How fun is it to cheat and win? Its pathetic, I don't care if the game provides these things, they're dirty and cheap, and only a suck player would use them.
-
Wow this community is something else. Op has a valid point, its not about playing casual but half the community plays like antisocial aholes that will win at any cost. Just chill the f out, don't need to bring ebony moris to guarantee your kills, because Noone cares just makes everyone think you're a douche playing a mori every game. They could easily make this game a lot better by removing keys and Moris, iri head, and other such op things that are abused by limited talent players so they can feel like winners. Its bs

Imagine instead of having a legitimate argument you just combat what im saying with insults and off topic things. Here’s my stance on this. We don’t even know that NoEd is in the game until we complete all generators. When you’re playing DbD. Your primary goal is to survive and escape. How do you survive? Powering generators. Getting rid of totems slows the gameplay down for nothing but what? 1k bloodpoints? Maybe not get rid of it. But make some changes. Survivors should get to know it’s in the game. It shouldn’t be a last second “oh crap. NoEd” because 9/10 the killer will just down someone with it and facecamp so they can get at least 1 kill. Maybe implement something that lets us know beforehand? Give us the exposed effect the second we power the Last Gen so we KNOW that we have to try harder to escape. Or maybe just add it as a Totem that’s already active at the beginning like most Hexes already. It shouldn’t come as a surprise. You shouldn’t have to be doing so well the entire game just to insta-die from one hit. I’m not here to read your insults. I’m here to have a legitimate argument against it. If the threads not for you, it’s not for you. No need to hear bs because you disagree.
P.S : It’s also very difficult to have an argument against it when half of the people here probably play killer and use it constantly. If you like something and use it you’re going to be more accustomed towards using it and keeping it. Whereas if you’re a Rank 1 Survivor like me, you get tired of seeing it constantly after doing so well the entire match.
Entitled. Here's my answer to you I use it and it works great so stop crying:

'Keys aren’t even commonly ran by survivors.' Neither are mori's, unless you're in the low ranks, because they're cool. When in high ranks, they destroy your score, so they aren't a common sight.
They are comparable, because they both end the game quicker than it would have. It doesn't matter how it's accomplished, both are meant for easier wins on both sides.
I'm a rank 1 survivor, and plenty of killers bring Moris. Id guesstimate 20%.
-
they are both crap to shortcut the game, I never bring a key and I never use a mori unless an ivory for the rare mori daily ritual.

Uh....
Ghostface can be broken out of stealth.
Pig only loses her TR if she crouches.
Wraith only loses his TR if he is invisible.
Myers is all about having a low/no TR....that's pretty much his thing.
It sounds like you either need to learn how to coax "facecampers" out of stealth before a save or learn when its safe/unsafe to unhook a teammate. All things that will come with practice as you play more.
No, borrowed time should be based on thr distance the killer is from the hook, it makes absolutely no sense that some killers are buffed because of terror radius nonsense. Everyone loves a wraith that goes around the corner and stops moving then comes out to get the freshly unhooked like an ass and not even bt helps. Brilliant games and brilliant counterplay sure to follow. It's stupid

Good luck finding all the totems on the indoor maps, or a map like springwood. Good way to waste 3-4+ minutes without a dedicated totem hunting build which will be useless 9/10 games because you don't see NOED too often at high ranks.
Killers will always make excuses for this perk. And I main killer, I know it's BS and I don't even try to deny it.
Lol this is my "dedicated totem hunting build." I Never ever ever get hit with noed, and laugh maniacally when a killer brings a hex perk. Get over yourself.
-
Wouldn't matter for me and my swf team because I use
-
Its literally the only thing on the "pro" side for killers, except shorter queues. If you could get the same bps as survivor may as well make the killers bots because noone would play killer.
-
Seems like everyone responding is a toxic teabagging turd to me. Teabagging is saying neener nanner booboo I got you. It's extraordinarily immature, unless the killer is playing like a douche and has it coming. Makes survivors look like idiots to be honest.

if anyone got this tell us how you did it.
I got it yesterday, I'm a somewhat close game where I was the last survivor I had my swf friend ask the killer if I could get it and they said yes. The end lol
-
Because its way easier to get standard hits? Especially with a little speed boost? What the hell kind of question is this

Probably because the game isn't evil and isn't scary anymore lol

They could do so many things to take the cheapness out of this game like fix iri huntress, make it so that hag can't put traps in the basement, etc. I don't know why they don't do it

Taking it too serious because i m actually trying to achieve goal of the game? Its you taking it too serious cause you crying about how and why you lost. Its just a game. Move on.
My whole point is I don't take the game too seriously, I play it to have fun its not like you're in the NBA dude, if the game is boring for you and easy its because you aren't playing it right. A hillbilly with enough hours and the right perks and add ons is just as op as iri head infantry belt huntress. You're boring to play against and boring to play as. Noone likes it, why do you bother? It Doesn't prove you're anything to win that way
-
You're right, I personally never used noed (except during my baby days) before the ruin nerf, but it pretty much became a situation of whoa the gens are going way too fast (even though I use new ruin and surveillance in tandem) so survivors can either cleanse totems and give me an extra gen worth of time to play or suffer the consequences.
On the opposing side as a rank 1 survivor I see that noed is in play 70% of the time now, so I run detectives hunch and give the killers that extra time, while also countering ruin and devour hope.

gen rush is also something that takes no effort so why would you even complain about low effort playstyle? Its a game . Both sides are balanced fine.
Bs, its treating survivors like trash because you take the game too seriously. I remember you making a killer is too easy thread. Yes killer is easy if you play like a scumbag. Just like if any fps you camp a spawn location or snipe from a bugged location, its easy. This game is fundamentally broken because killers, presumably like you, win at any cost rather than actually playing the game. I play both sides and play fair at both, and its fun, except when there is a killer, presumably like you, that takes it too serious and wants to win at any cost. It's small and pathetic, git gud, use someone besides hillbilly using all op perks all the time, the game goes beyond your smallness.
-
Despite the fact that my favorite moments by far in this game are when I have the gate nearly open, get downed, hit ds, finish opening the gate and escape, I admit it is pretty much bs. I wouldn't complain if ds stopped working once a gate was open.

Some totem spots are hidden insanely well (mostly on indoor maps). Leaving the totems up gives you the chance to have NoED spawn on the totems you were able to find, instead of them spawning where you couldn't. Why is this a controversial opinion guys?

Nope. You can rush gens and still dodge the effects of NOED. It's not an anti-genrush perk.
I run noed since the ruin need, because it totally punishes hard-core gen rushing. I've turned 1k into 4k with it. I don't typically play meta killers because I don't find it enjoyable, noed often levels the playing field for sure.
-
More than the killers themselves its the playstyle of the player behind the controller, if you could call it style. I don't mind any killer thats played fairly, except maybe freddy because he sucks, but killers like Freddy, spirit, doctor, basement hag, deathslinger, huntress, hillbilly, wraith, all have the potential to be played like OP hook returning jerkoffs with little chance for someone getting tunneled hard to play the game at all.
-
@Waffleyumboy said:

That's a pretty direct counter to NOED, I prefer to keep my build versatile and not rely on the killer picking specific perks for my success.
Its one perk slot, and counters not only noed, but ruin, devour hope, third seal, toth, and the most devastating potential effects of blood warden and remember me. With how fast gens fly most killers are running noed as a counter. If survivors have to gen rush so hard that they can't cleanse totems they deserve to get hit with noed.
-
-
They actually need to increase his terror radius, combined with the quiet beginning of his music its way too easy for no skill hook campers to get cheap shots at unhooking/unhooked survivors. I hate this killer probably more than Freddy and the doctor now, takes no skill ,just a lack of decency, to dominate matches

because me trying to kill you and the others is bad?
Play both roles, like I do, and you wouldn't treat survivors like npcs. There are tactics killers use that are pathetic. Breaking Chase and going back to the hook so you can tunnel/camp, ebony Moris, many other things are just douche moves. I wouldn't demean myself to do them to other people, because I'm a decent person and its not that important. When I play survivor its always swf so its social and fun. Yeah we mess with the killer, but we don't bully, turns my stomach when I see an idiot survivor teabagging someone at the exit for losing, I swear half the population of this game is infants

if you use ds, adrenaline, unbreakable and dead hard in your build, you are even more try hard than anyone else
Only one of those perks I use is decisive strike, to counter try hard monitor and abuse deathslingers proxy camping just out my teammates hearing so they can come in and take dirty shots while I'm getting unhooked.
-
@KingFrost said:
Use Detective's Hunch. Cleanse 1 or 2 Totems. Hope your teammates do ONE. Keep in mind where the last two are. After all gens are done, check the other two totems. If one is lit, Cleanse it.
Did this against a Leatherface some time back. Unfortunately, he got me at the NoED totem, but it was my second hook. Someone came for the rescue while he was guarding the exit gate on the other side of the map, I went and cleansed the totem as the exit gate opened. I hopped in a locker to heal with inner strength. Got out, the Claudette who rescued me opened the Exit gate on this side, and I didn't see the killer again.
This Is why I started bringing detectives hunch, after each gen I go to the nearest totem to break it and eyeball where the next closest is. By the time 2 gets are done if the team hasn't got them, I got them all 95% of the time. One down after the last gen pops and they camp near the survivor and their noed totem, is a fun situation to play but almost always 1-2 are dead

I do play killer. Lets keep the assumptions to ourselves. they make you look like an ass. And if the gates are right around the corner from one another its not easy for me to get the survivor. Also if its a reward then why power them at all if their most likely not even going to be open considering theyre right by each other. Use your head. Thanks.
You're hyper aggressive and it makes you look like an ass

? The whole game is the killer catching someone? Lol. Um but thanks? for the input? 🤦♀️
Gates are meant to be a reward for a team that does well. Unfortunately this game has the stupid hatch which generated hatch standoffs so they fixed that with the egc. The only reason to be upset about gates spawning close is when you're the only one left, which means the gates are only powered because the hatch was closed, which means your team totally lost and you do not deserve an escape, but if you're lucky you just might anyway. Try playing killer sometime and youll understand.

I wrote that I've been playing for 7 months, not one month, and it's the first game of the day, not the first game ever.
Maybe I should learn to read lol
-
If you hit the person on the hook before they are through the animation it does nothing just like swiping them while hooked. This is intentional
-
Maybe I'll start camping and tunneling. It's pretty exhausting playing the way that makes the game fun for survivors and they dont seem to appreciate it, still teabag me if they escape etc.

First game of the day, killer just slugs everyone and they lay there bleeding out for 4 minutes. Now this is gaming!
In another post didnt you say you had 1500 hours in in a month or something ridiculous? Now it's your first game?

I'm rank 5 killer which means I only get rank 1 and 2 survivors at this point, unless they bring a lower level friend. I always hold my own and make a game of things, but it's just not very fun because the survivors are such pricks. Last 4 games were 3I, 1k, 3k, 3k. By the end of that last one I was beat man. It's a chore.
-
Man, all these crashes and they never happen to me. Just like everyone crying about dedicated servers, none of that wierd ######### happens to me because I have quality internet. Get a better PC. Get better internet. If you can't it's not the problem of the other people in the matches you're ruining, you must be quarantined as much as possible.
