  • I think any killer worth anything in this game doesn't care about your clothes unless its multiple blendettes. Its not fun having to find a group whose "skill" is looking like their surroundings.

To be fair I knew that someone is going for the unhook so I waited for him in the top of the basement stairs. Is it camping? Maybe, so what? If that’s the right play at the moment I’m sure as hell do it. But that’s not exactly what I was indicted for as you see.

Sounds Like the comment was probably justified to me. Do you patrol your jigsaw boxes?

Thats just simply not true, I get called a camper/tunneler all the time and rarely am I doing that. When i do that and they message me the response is a simple "so?" Point is, survivors claim that all the time when its not true

Seeme pretty specific for general salt.

  • Thats just what legions do when they miss their power, when they miss me I'm like #########, now I get to be the one chased around for the next 60 seconds instead of the next guy. Their power has such a long cool down its like if you made leatherface miss and he couldn't use his saw for another 30 plus seconds.

I think they mean it was a salty survivor spouting it because they do that when they get mad.

Yeah but usually survivors complain about what killers are actually doing. We've all played pigs that do this crap, its a no skill way of playing.

In that case it's a hard "no". Camping is a valid strategy, according to the developers, and it has clear and effective counters. It's not the killers' fault survivors refuse to use those counters.

bs, its garbage, youre ruining someone's game for absolutely no reason. After a certain amount of time it should enact massive blood point penalties. I mean like where if you camp someone to death on their first hook, you end up getting -20k bps for the match and it creates a deficit so that you can end up with negative 1 million bps eventually.

  • @SpiritLover1133 said:

you can never beat 4 Man Sweaty SWF no matter what you do/bring.

I tried against top players on console and it was absolutely impossible. I couldn’t even do anything with the old Nurse with 3 blinks.

I beat sweaty swat with friends all the time with non optimal killers. Not every time, they have the advantage. But it can be done. You mostly have to rely on them making mistakes. If they don't, you're screwed.

Means which killer you have to choose to make it work.

    I like your Oni build.

Extremely strongest build i found out is Rancor , Nemesis, Remember me, Whispers(or Infectious Fright) on Hillbilly. You going to need whispers late game especially if they decide to just not open gates and hide somewhere for a bit maybe.

    Heres how you play:

1.You defend 3 gens. Never commit to long chase.

2.Gain RM stacks when you can not get instant chainsaw hit . Also use chainsaw trick(use chainsaw to trick survivors into dodging then give them m1 hit and they will lose speed burst and you can get another hit = 2 tokens already).

    3. Eliminate pallets at the gates if possible( it will help later on).

Basically all you need to do is to kill one survivor before gens done and gain RM tokens(3-4).

And here s what you can do if there s more like only one gen left after you killed one survivor : find obsession or force one to become then down him and just camp. When survivors finish gens just kill him. Now you have 36 seconds for them to open gates and infectious fright or whispers. 3 kills guaranteed 4 kills almost guaranteed 🙄

The fun part about this build is Death Roulette . Now (late game) if any survivor stun you you can kill them. You can basically mori 2 people.

Why it works only on Hillbilly? Because survivors wont stun you unless rev you chainsaw at pallet. They may still not stun you but then you can get your insta down. Win win situation.

I had 4 man swf pulling head on trick on me ie they were leading me to lockers then i get stunned and they continue doing that. Well it only helped me to gain RM tokens that way and they all died in the end :D

You Are trying way too hard. If you need to defend a 3 gen, you're pretty much garbage. This game is not some tactical thrilling game. You're the problem with this game.

Actually, regarding the assumptions you're making about my friends, none of the above. Some people are simply really good at the game. I've tried to be reasonable and honest with you, but it seems like you're not prepared to discuss this in good faith. Leaving aside the irony of you making baseless assumptions about the way other people necessarily play while accusing me of doing the same, at the point where I'm "on my high horse" because I've expressed an opinion you take personal offence to, I don't think there's anything more productive to be said here.

I'm "really good at the game." I'm not God tier but I'm a step below that. I'm saying that if you're trash talking noed because it's not necessary you fundamentally don't understand the current state of the game. Like I said get to rank 1 and come talk to me.

  • @Fibijean said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1269307#Comment_1269307

You disagree with what? I admitted straight-up in my comment that I didn't have the first-hand experience necessary to truly understand what high-ranked killers go through. The reason I can confidently say what I said about NOED in spite of my inexperience is because I've discussed it in the past with people who do know what they're talking about. If you think that anyone who says that Ruin was never actually necessary for success as a killer doesn't have a clue what it's like to play killer at high ranks (in spite of the fact that the stats strongly suggest otherwise), you may want to have a chat with the red-ranked killers who share my viewpoint rather than with me.

You were on your high horse about how noed isn't necessary and that its a false assumption that its a counter to the fact that gens go too fast. You're speaking from a place of ignorance because you have no experience in the matter. If you know red rank killers that disagree, they exclusively play top tier killers or bring moris, tunnel, camp etc instead. If you're watching content, you aren't getting the full experience, you're getting what they choose to show you. My point is that before you go asserting that needing noed is false, get good enough to actually achieve red ranks and have a meaningful opinion on the subject. Its hell, it is not fun. I can play survivor all day and not stress out. As killer you get The wrong swat with friends and it gets my blood pumping and its stress city.

  • @Fibijean said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1269277#Comment_1269277

Around green. I spend more time watching killer gameplay than I do actually participating in it, and I'll be the first to admit I'm not the best at it and I don't understand firsthand all the struggles that top-ranked killers face (although with matchmaking as it is, I have faced my fair share of red-ranked survivor teams). I can empathise, and I can analyse, two things which I like to think I'm fairly good at, but I don't have that same shared experience. So, as with anything that I don't have sufficient personal experience in to draw conclusive assessments on that basis, I therefore rely on the testimonies of friends who are skilled killers, intelligent people and whose judgement I trust to fill in the gaps.

I Disagree. Until you've played red rank killer against rank 1 swat with friends, you don't know how it feels to get bullied in a game where you're at a major disadvantage by complete jerks. In my case, I don't usually play the top tier killers because I find them boring. Also I don't play sweaty and bust out all the stops like some of the jerk killers I play. I don't tunnel, camp, mori, etc. So when someone like me, and I'm a really good killer, can get mercilessly stomped by swat with friends who rub it in your face every time they drop a pallet, etc, even though you aren't playing like a jerk, it gets to you. Noed punishes the worst of these groups who do nothing but gens asap to ######### the killer. For you to say its a misconception that ruin was needed to slow the game down shows you have no clue what its like to play a high rank killer, watching others play without being invested yourself is not the same as doing the work to have the experience to have an accurate feeling of what's its like.

  • @Fibijean said:

From what I've heard, everyone who used to rely on Ruin to slow the game down enough that they could win now relies on NOED to secure last-minute kills instead. There has been a popular, and largely false, idea floating around since the Ruin rework that it's no longer possible for killers to apply enough pressure to kill all survivors prior to the endgame, so NOED is necessary to compensate. That kind of thing tends to be self-perpetuating - the more people believe it, the more people do it, and the more they do it, the more it solidifies their belief that it's the only viable strategy. In reality, most killers have adapted and are getting along fine without Ruin (or NOED) now that the shock has worn off, but for some that kind of mentality can be hard to shake.

What Rank killer are you fibijean?

You can tell me I haven't read the book as much as you like. It won't make it true. Btw I see you completely ignored my question. Not surprising since you likely can't give a valid answer to it. Since you've supposedly read the book then you don't need your good friend Google here. So give it your best shot if you can.

The entity creates its own worlds and trials, and brings all different people from other worlds to them. Pennywise never flexed that level of power. The book tells us he is a god but he displays no god like powers in it. He does nothing more or as equally impressive as what the entity does in Dbd. He's simply a shapeshifting creature that dwells in the sewers, is centuries old, feeds off fear in order to be able to kill, and then goes on a 27 year slumber.

That's not god status power. He would not feel like a cut above if he was a killer in this game. Especially if he's based off any of the movie versions. I assume you've watched them, or do you need Google to inform you about them 😉

I Read the book but its been 25 years. Isn't pennywise an alien vampire/psychic vampire? Don't remember him ever being called a god of any type

Well it does prove something, that face camping is possible to escape from vs bad players. That and even while playing very poorly or doing barely anything in a match, they still got a kill. Now if the Bubba was a bit more skillful. The odds are, it would of been a four man slaughter with how people kept going for the saves. If anything, this video might favor that face camping might be very powerful for something that takes little skill. That and if we were going vs a more experience player. It could be seen as punishing survivors for doing something that is meant to be part of normal game play. Unhooking fellow survivors. Since face camping is massively different from survivors swarming the hook like Leeroy.

That and if we look at what happens during a normal game. The killer will go around, keeping the gens safe. Kicking them, breaking pallets. Hooking survivors twice. Hunting down and chasing survivors. Mind gaming here and there. A killer could do all of this and still end up with a 4 man escape on their hands. While a face camper, which takes massively less skill, even if they are very bad at the game. Are highly likely to if not always get one kill. Taking all of this into account, one could use it as showing face camping is super powerful for how little skill it takes. Since even someone like Otz, who is a highly skilled killer. Has had games where he only gotten a single kill, while putting in far more effort than a face camping Bubba.

This is why they should implement massive BP loss if you don't leave a hook, I mean where if you do this you can get negative 20k bp from a match. Its not fair to the survivor at all.

  • I hate All the broken killers:

    Freddy

    Iri head huntress

Spirits that use phase to get back to the hook, or to make it impossible to mind game a loop

Doctors that use shocking to prevent vaulting and pallet drops

    Basement hags

    Hook camping invisible wraiths

    Face camping saw raised Bubbas

Ghost face stalk camping around the corner from a hook

Pig face crouch camping around the corner from a hook

Anyone with insidious camping around the corner from a hook

Billys that just chainsaw sprint away from hooks so they can chainsaw sprint back to them until someone new shows up

    Monitor using deathslinger proxy campers

Thats about all that comes to mind. Amazing the amount of cheap tricks this game has for loser players. Everything in my list needs a nerf.

  • @Ghostwithaface said:

Well sometimes you come across a person so stuck in their ways, they can't possibly accept they might be wrong or the thing they deny as being impossible, can work.

Like you can't escape a face camping bubba. Even when video proof exists, that yes, it is possible to escape from a face camping bubba. Yet show this proof to the person who thinks facecamping is impossible to escape from. They will deny it or simply fade away like a ghost, never admitting they might be wrong and possibly never to be seen again, in that thread at least. That or change the goal post, oh if the facecamper was a more intelligence or better player, they would of never escaped. Even when the original question was, is it impossible to escape from a facecamper?

When honestly, alot more agreement could most likely be reach. If more people played both sides, rather than only one side or the other. That way they could understand or relate to the other side, rather than treating them like the other aka the outgroup. Since playing one side, is a good way to get tunnel vision and only be able to see things from one point of view. Like oh say ds. If you seen some of Saminations latest steams, well some players do make questionable choices as to when to unhook someone. Leading to ds seem to be a perk, not to save you from the killer but rather to save you, from your team mates poor planning.

    https://youtu.be/iWLf0ezuvNg

This rank 13 is even bad at face camping. This video proves nothing. If done properly a face camping Bubba can make rescue impossible. Its bs. Most don't do it, because it's truly pathetic, but there are a few.

  • All ds needs iss to deactivate if you go in a locker or if someone else is hooked while youre not down.

  • He's like the doctor in that both are annoying af. He just needs to bring pop and surveillance and makes it impossible to finish the last gen or two. Doctor does the same thing in a different way. The killer is always in everyone's face in some way, its obnoxious

  • I'd say nurse only in God tier hands otherwise she's a joke, then Freddy, then Billy, then spirit.

  • @Respectfulnancymain said:

Im sure we've all seen posts claming killer is "stressful". Why keep playing if you get stressed? Your supposed to enjoy playing. why not play survivor or play a diffrent game?

I'll go first. My picks to win are Peace Dreamer Kate by Mounashine and Never Stop Slashing Legion (Frank) by Amacky.

When I first saw the Kate skin, I immediately fell in love. It's so bright, lively and detailed. Imo it fits Kate's character completely.

The Legion skin is flat out awesome. The expressive mask is such a good idea and I wonder if the devs could make a mask like that work.

Im talking about struggling while being carried, its bad for the stick eventually wears them out. Also no I never played god of war

What the hell are you even talking about??? Have you ever played survivor even once? Only trash killers need to tunnel and camp. And yes it happens plenty at red ranks, my last match was a rank 2 deathslinger proxy camping from his first hook forward. Its a crutch for ######### players.

I was a little hesitant to say just outright Terminator because I saw that a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure he's a war machine that shoots bullets and stuff. Obviously you wouldn't want to juts have somebody going berserk with bullets, but I'm sure they could find a way to tone something like that down, like how Ash obviously doesn't have a chainsaw hand like he does in his movies.

Omg What have you never seen the terminator lol??? He's a robot with a living human casing, the only shooting he does is with guns. He would actually fit right in, could be the first killer to just use their bare hands instead of a weapon.

i actually dont like freddy or spirit reason being freddy has a broken lunge hit box it goes so far as well as hits you at the end of the animation also the teleporting to generators gives him to much map control and it doesnt make it fun and i dont really have a reason to not like spirit i just dont like her and ghost face wasnt to easy on the last update it took me a minute to get use to him and actually get good with him and it was still a challenge but now it seems too easy

So I said you're using two of the most powerful killers in the game try expanding your playstyle because youre using ez mode, and your response is no. You are using 2 of the four most powerful killers in the game. And I'm sorry at rank 10-11, you have no standing to speak about how easy killer is, I don't care if you often are against red ranks, you aren't pipping already at you current rank, wait until red ranks and see what it takes to get a pip. This morning I 4k a red rank swf with leather face and brown add ons and no headphones because i was just doing a challenge. The game is not easy as killer unless you get potatoes.

I don't see where this "heavy debate" is coming from. Most of the time though, these posts are just laughed off into obscurity.

These are what I'm talking about.

As for what I personally feel about it, I feel like there actually is potential for a robotic killer. Now don't get ahead of yourself, because I'm not saying I'm an advocate for FNaF either. What I think should take the place of a "robotic killer" in this game is something more alone the lines of a cyborg, or a Terminator-esque character. It doesn't have to be human-looking but my point is, I'd much rather prefer something like "deadly killing machine" than "cutesy evil Chuck-E-Cheese robot." I feel like the original killers in this game are pretty sweet, so having an original robotic killer like that would be far more preferential for me personally.

Im Down for the terminator for sure

basically its to easy most of the maps are so small now that as ghost face i can stalk from across the map and just down everyone. The big ass dead zones are super easy to kill in as well there is no thrill in the chase its oh hey i have you in a deadzone let me just kill you really fast they dont have a chance to lose me anymore and as doctor i can just use my shock wave to see where they are through the whole map its not fun and the changes that were made either need reverted or the killer needs to go through a huge nerf too

Those are two powerful killers, I imagine you're a big fan of Freddy and spirit too. Why dont you try killers that are a challenge to use? You're using ez mode.

Depends on how the killer played. If the killer facecamped early game, hardcore tunneled, or used an ebony I'll t-bag at the exit gates and make them hit me or I'll just wait the time down and go last second. Heck I had a plague hardcore tunnel a David all game, I blocked for him so she lost him and then she started after me and I went the extra mile and t-bagged at every pallet. I ran for the last two gens she lost me and then dc'd. Was pretty funny.

It's just a little victory for me and it honesty shouldn't bother the person when it happens but that's just how taunts are, they affect some people more than others.

Personally, when I play killer it makes me chuckle and if I play like a jerk and they get out I fully expect t-bags and will normally nod and moonwalk with them.

Im exactly the same way. Some killers deserve to be taunted. You know it gets them because they are clearly taking the game too serious to play all douchy. On the flip side I am grossed out when other survivors taunt a killer that played fair just to be dicks.
