The loop changes aren't that powerful, especially because still the most common loops, what I think this game really need is a way to put pressure early game, a perk that even clown could be good with
Like corrupt intervention? The same perk that you said in your other thread was bad because it only lasts two minutes? The area you have to patrol is essentially halved.
-
You really like making these threads huh?
-
Yes.
Yes.
Don't really mind, rarely know if they actually have it or they just saw me.
As survivor, definitely not a negative. As killer, not too negative, usually only extends a chase by a few seconds.
-
Oh no, they got rid of the stand still and win tech, how sad. Not like she's already strong enough without it.
-
Tbh the one of the only ways I have fun in solo queue now is just using meme builds
-
I mean, if NOED got reworked then I'd be 100% up for this
-
Well how many perks do you have in total?

Nope😊 maybe actually try her and go against a bunch of red rank swf. Then judge me after.
She can travel through solid objects, if you're getting bloodlust with Nurse you must be awful with her
-
@Champagne said:
Hey a Nurse without bloodlust is no killer at all, especially with her blink charge, it lets survivors get away so without bloodlust she is screwed, don’t forget about Huntress and the slower sided killers. Maybe bloodlust should be removed on some killers?
Please tell me you're being sarcastic
-
Jane, Ash, and Ace for survivors
Ghostface, Hag, and Trapper for survivors
I usually find those survivors are awful teammates and I just dislike playing against those killers.
-
The one in the next rift or the most recent one in the store?
-
If it's rare that you face 1 OoO then it's even rarer that you face 3-4. I know situations like this aren't really fair but the survivors are taking a great risk when bringing object and Freddy is one of maybe 2 killers that give the survivors a huge advantage against. That being said, for the survivors to be given this extra advantage, they need to be asleep thus making them susceptible to dream snares. The best thing to do is probably just place as many as you can and keep chasing them, don't double back or try to mind game, just keep following them until you down them.

You almost made me spit out my tea. Rancor has plenty of opportunity to play around.
Before the last gen is complete, hide in a locker. If no locker is available, find a safe area to loop or create distance.
After several seconds, sneak to the exit and escape before the Killer finds you.
Unless you’re the last Survivor (of which then the Perk is overkill), you have ways to play around this and survive.
Saying hide in a locker is all well and good until you take into account the second part of the perk, it reveals the positions of all survivors when a gen is done. If the perk was just an insta down it wouldn't be as bad but an insta down and mori is ridiculous.

@GhostofYharnam said:
It doesn't really matter what change you make. People are going to complain they got killed because of Noed and could'nt save there friends. When noed is nerfed they'll move on to complaining about Devour Hope or Rancor.
You can't seriously be saying that Rancor is a fair perk. It literally has no counterplay, and the person it affects didn't necessarily want to be the obsession.
-
Gotta be real, making a whole other thread about this seems quite petty to say the least
-
(Don't know why it posted twice, sorry)
-
Jeff and me 🥴
-
Dont see how people still don't know that if this happens, it means that you were lucky enough to get the minimum pallet spawn. The game has to force pallets wherever it can in order to meet the minimum, thus resulting in this.
-
Just so everyone knows, the devs themselves confirmed in one of the more recent live streams that some survivors do actually have slightly bigger hitboxes than others, they didn't tell us which ones though.
-
I don't see how some people don't understand that there is no way to keep any horror game scary. For example, the first time I played the RE2 remake, Mr X was terrifying, he was something new to me and I had no idea how I could escape him. Now when I play RE2, he isn't scary at all, you can't keep something scary if the person who you're trying to scare can just get used to the thing that is trying to scare them.
-
If this were added to Haddonfield I think I'd be.....on the fence about it ;)

The thing is I can’t ever find anyone to give me a good reason that DS shouldn’t deactivate on someone else being hooked. Bing, literally means you weren’t tunneled.
A deactivation mechanic would allow a killer to tunnel and not get punished in a situation where multiple people are downed at one time. Say you get downed a matter of seconds after a Laurie, the killer decides to hook you first, he then goes back for the Laurie, while he is doing this, a Meg comes and unhooks you, the killer then hooks Laurie. DS is now deactivated and the killer can tunnel you to his heart's desire.

I really want a....
Jack the Ripper chapter! I think a Victorian London street would be a really cool map!

You can’t achieve Merciless at Rank 20.

Pretty sure you can, all you have to do is double pip, which it is easier to do at lower ranks.

I run self care on survivor all the time because I dont care for some of them players out there that want to tell us not to use it, I brought the game you don't tell me how I'm going to play 😂 and because I dont trust randoms to help me. I don't run second chance perks because then it just makes playing survivor easier then it already is, the only exhaustion perk I use sometimes is head on, not always, I just like to have fun with it now and then. I like spine chill because I'm an idiot when it comes to pay attention to stealth killers, and I like that couple seconds head start to make it run for it because I'm a pu**y 😂 my other two perk slots, basically just what I feel like using at that time of playing. I try to make things abit more challenging for myself otherwise the game just easy and becomes boring. I have been telling myself to stop using spine chill and try something else, but you know the devs creat a ton of rubbish perks that even the most useless player wouldnt even use lol
Yeah, like self care
-
I personally don't use many META perks unless I'm doing a very certain build (DS in a locker build, Dead Hard in a vaulting build, etc.) But I completely understand why people don't want to shift from the META, the other perks that they are given are awful, the devs have given them so many restrictions in order to avoid abuse when the perk would have already been situational. Even then, that's not to mention the perks that are simply just useless, most red rank survivors wouldn't really find something like This Is Not Happening or Technician very useful would they? If people want survivors to shift from the current META, the devs need to do a serious overhaul of perks because frankly, a lot of them have been useless on release.
-
As much as I could possibly agree, what do you expect them to use? Over half of the perks survivors have are awful as they are right now.
-
I really want a Jack the Ripper chapter with a Victorian woman as a survivor and a Victorian London street as a map. Probably won't happen but one can dream 😔

@Ghost_Face_Main said:
Okay, things to point out from that clip:
1) he's clearly being mostly obscured, preventing the reveal.
2) The survivor isn't even keeping him centered on the screen, let alone looking at him correctly.
3) biggest rookie mistake vs Ghost Face is to stand there and stare at him when he could be preventing your reveal play and you easily feeding him the mark.
This isn't his power being busted, this is just bad gameplay.
Revealing is supposed to occur when at least 20% of the killer is able to be seen, in the video, the least you can see at any time the survivor is trying to reveal him is around 25-33% and even if this one video wasn't the best attempt at revealing him, you cannot seriously be arguing that the mechanic works as it should in its current form.

Why thank you, I take pride in my work 💖
-
Just checked Twitter and IT'S YOU, pretty sure you can stop posting about this, the devs will have definitely seen your idea by now and if they think it's a good idea, they'll look into getting the rights for him. You don't need to suggest it to them every minute of every day of your life, do you not get bored of making the same exact post so often?
-
Omg that guy from Twitter has started infecting more people with this idea 🙄
I'd probably be up for this if I didn't see that guy so often that I feel like he's a key character to my life.
-
Really only ever in meme builds (Scratch mark oriented build or movement speed oriented build)

Stridor doesn't negate Iron Will so there is no reason to run it.. if they aren't using IW you can hear them, if they are running IW you won't hear them with or without Stridor. Pointless perk.
That's completely false, Stridor negates Iron Will, not the other way around.

Not only that but its a recolour of her default hair

My facts are straight, yours are not. Don't post unless you know for sure. The game didn't start when you started playing.
From what I remember, pallets were reduced but made more visible, doesn't seem very survivor sided to me.
-
Actually, the one that you can see here would be that of buddhism, it is only a Nazi symbol when it is clockwise, the one you posted is anti clockwise.

Where did you get the data. RENet is absolutely lying. 150K Participants worlwide? Have you ever seen the bots profiles on that website? They can play oswell spencer and daniel fabron, without even touching annette. Have you even played yourself. I can say if i have played about 10 mastermind games and 20 survivor games, out of about 15 of the survivor games i've won, and mastermind games only about 5. Of course, i'm still low leveled, but if you can abuse January's unstoppable hacks, Becca's unlimited ammo even on a rocket launcher or minigun, Martin's flash baton, and Samuel's insane healing at higher levels, you'll understand. But then again, we have alex wesker and her full poison build which is hard to deal with. Or daniel fabron's unstunnable zombie control, his doubled grab damage, vampire effect, etc. There's still so much to go through that a 65% wr like that is BS.
If you've only won 5 out of 10 mastermind games I don't know what to say to you other than git gud. As you said yourself, some survivors have extremely strong skills, so what is the easy answer to winning? Take out the strongest first, focus on the people who will cause you the most trouble. Literally all you have to do to win as mastermind is protect the objectives that survivors need LATER rather than the ones they need in the moment. Main example being the security guard, don't bother protecting him, find one of the security devices and spawn as many zombies and traps in that room as you possibly can and you've basically won.
-
I mean, what difference does knowing the killer has Stridor have? It's not like you can do anything to counter it.
-
Most likely just a coincidence, jeans, sweater and backpack is a pretty basic outfit formula.
-
They speak the truth, you're just too ignorant to accept it 😡

The Bunny Feng one? I looked at the icons in last PTB's files, and there are separate icons for the head and torso, so my guess would be not.
Nawww that's a shame. If that's how it works it'll be weird seeing people wearing the hood and not the jacket (if they don't bind the two options together that is).
-
I really don't know where these threads are coming from. I've seen maybe like 2 people in total complain about the upcoming changes.
-
I mean...maybe she just has muscular legs? Maybe Yui hasn't once skipped leg day.
-
The cosmetics coming with the next patch all look really cool, I'm especially looking forward to Yui's, Feng's (even though it's just another recolour), Kate's, and Spirit's. Bit disappointed that Nea didn't get any though, but hopefully she'll get some with the next chapter.

When a survivor is spotted and they all run to the exact same place, no matter the distance, because the loop is so powerful. Something is wrong.
That isn't what OP was asking though.
-
If you want gens to take longer than 80 seconds I doubt that will happen, sitting still, holding one button, and tapping another one occasionally is boring enough at 80 seconds.
-
They need to keep to their word of closing the solo SWF gap, then they can start effectively and properly balancing the game.
-
Maybe the next update will focus on making maps better for survivors. They probably just prioritised the killer's queries as killers are generally more affected by the map that they're playing on.
