Wraith has been a pretty big contributor to freezing for ages now, whenever he does his omega lunge after uncloaking the game will freeze for like 5 seconds
-
Reduce the grind
-
I'm okay without it, even if they reduce the grind (which they should). I'd be happy that any future characters I want to level up will be maxed out easier.

Killer is allowed to do whatever is needed to win. Because unlike Survivor, Killer is actually stressful and difficult. Unless the Survivors are actual garbage, Killers like Myers aren’t getting all 3 hooks on 4 Survivors. It simply is not happening.
If you think that survivor isn't stressful or difficult, you obviously haven't played solo queue
-
Well it's probably the most stupidly designed add-on in the game, it has a huge downside but if the team has 1 stupid member on their team, they could all potentially get insta killed. I honestly hope that if they ever rework Michael, they completely change his Ultra Rare add-ons.
-
Honestly I just hope they rework Haddonfield soon
-
Now I'm not exactly the most rational person when dealing with my anger, but seeing the way that someone else will flip over a video game can be ######### hilarious. One time I ran a streamer for 4 gens, he ignored people on gens just to go for me. After he finally left me and went for my friend, he kept missing attacks and went absolute apeshit.
But I completely agree that you should not insult or provoke the person who is clearly upset. Let them communicate their frustrations and move on, you don't gain anything by making the person feel worse than they already do.

Honestly my dream cosmetic would probably be one that was entered into the cosmetic contest that had Claudette and Legion outfits win. It was an outfit for Nea with an 70s/80s punk mohawk, leather jacket, and denim skirt with fishnets and patches. It looked amazing!
Edit: Here's the design I was talking about, credit to @momodrawsstuff for the amazing design!

I'd expect Jill's to have something to do with lockpicks or keys

I never sleep!
Today is my day off though, I don't work weekends - so go for it! :)
@miketheratguy as I've said on a few threads, nope we will still continue to support the characters in our game, as we currently do.
Sorry to bother you about the ST content, I'm sure you're fed up of answering questions about it, but could we maybe get some insight into whether or not Steve's Jonathan Byers skin will be getting a unique voice before the content is removed?
-
Also, the shortened Pop duration also makes it so you have to pick between applying pressure or kicking a gen and forfeiting a hit or even a down.
That is literally why they changed it, so that killers felt as though they had to prioritise using Pop over downing survivors in order to reduce snowball potential.
Also, perks like Blastmine and Repressed Alliance are designed to counter Pop, why should you buff Pop just to negate its counter, subsequently making Blastmine and Repressed Alliance even more situational.

I don't want to know

The stats are still total bullshit. Does anyone really believe pig or Freddy is better then nurse...?
Most people who play Nurse aren't good with her, they're most likely trying to learn how to play her seeing as it's agreed throughout the community that when mastered, she is the best killer in the game. In comparison, most Pig players already know how to play her due to the fact that she is unappealing to play for most people.
Therefore, the killer that is picked by beginners more (and in this case, also has a very low skill floor) is obviously going to have a lower kill rate, not that hard to figure out.
-
Idk, maybe a good Hag? Her traps are nearly invisible on most maps, they require an item to disable them, crouching to avoid them wastes a ridiculous amount of time if you don't have UE, the camera snap usually leads to hits that wouldn't happen against any other killer, and that's not taking into account people who use macros or spam scroll wheel to teleport instantly. I just don't think she's very fun to play against.
-
Ik, the joke somehow managed to get old in less than a day because of how many people were making it. I think the line sounds creepy.
-
Tbf I can't blame the Nea for being mad, when that hook grab bug occurs, the survivor who was unhooked cannot move. Had I been the killer in that situation, I would have just slugged the Nea because being completely unable to run away from the killer because of a bug is pretty unfair to say the least

Yes. Basically, the only thing you cannot do is purchase them from the store(s).
If you already have the all of the ST content, the only thing that will change is that the underground complex will not be available after november 17th.
Thanks!

It's a bad thing when you see more spirits, nurses, and sweaty killers as one more map that's decent for slower and more chill killers leaves the game. But fear not, The Evil Dead game comes in february, more fun, more polished, and even has bots and single-player capability which are the things they delayed the release wisely to include as it was gonna be only co-op only with a 4v1 mode initially. dbd is gonna finally bleed players after a long, hard, rough year of gradual decline just to see this happen months before a better game gets released lol. Man this is gonna be good.
My guy I was talking about Hawkins, not Demo

That's a bad thing?

In my experience, it's baby's first jumpscare game. Each game is more or less the same with lore just tagged onto it.

A theory that I had a while back is that the filter censors out names, probably in case a player, for whatever reason, decides to doxx another player.
Might be far fetched but it could be plausible.

"How is defining camp as adjective" means "Why are you even doing that? it's obvious. You might as well say camp is a word". And that's... pretty goddamn obvious in the context and even without it. But thank your for your invaluable input
It may have been obvious to you, but I can pretty confidently say that it quite clearly wasn't obvious to everyone else seeing as you now have multiple people speaking against you. Maybe instead of blaming everyone else for not understanding you, you should make your point clearer next time.

Why are you trying to make an argument based purely on strawman of me not understanding the meaning of the sentence? I get what he's saying my guy, and I literally pointed out that all the implications you can deduct from that brainfart are completely fatuous. That's the simple truth. Guy said it's his "stance" and i'm bad for not thinking it to be the smartest, which is understandable on some delirious level, so i'm just moving on. Please stop your hilarious adjective crusade and move on as well
Maybe because all of your responses implied that you refused to accept that the word "camp" was an adjective.
You said: "How is defining camp as adjective and linking a dictionary page for some reason(which is, no doubt, a very well-perceived method of communicating on the internet) makes this phrase something other than insane ramblings?"
Someone who knew that the word "camp" was an adjective wouldn't claim that someone using it as such was making "insane ramblings" would they?

I first started playing on PC then eventually moved to console. I highly recommend anyone who likes old school point and click adventure games to give the Nancy Drew games a go. I'd recommend these 3 games, they're probably my favourites.

Can anyone confirm if Spirit sees the survivor shining the flashlight?
She sees the beam emitted by the flashlight, so this counter basically achieves nothing. If she's phasing somewhere else, the husk isn't affecting you in any way. If she's phasing after you, she can pinpoint where you are.

This has been a thing since her release

Did you watch the video?
Just because a hit registers on your screen, doesn't mean it was registered on the server. Client sided hits causes survivors to get hit through pallets that were dropped prematurely.
-
and the old stun validation was unfair for survivors, like, a LOT more unfair.
It is rare for the events shown to actually occur in game, hardly any players will pallet reverse a killer because it's extremely risky, not only that but I'm pretty sure that there has been confirmation that visual and audible feedback regarding new pallets (blood spurting and survivor screaming in pain) is going to be fixed.

Pssst it's called: Sacrificial Ward.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/LES59PHR11NF/sacward-png.png
This would be a reasonable expectation if Sacraficial Wards weren't the same rarity as map offerings, the odds of actually getting one are 23 to 1 for survivor and 21 to 1 for killer.

Ppl will rule 34 ANYTHING... Can't have a nice wholesome game about murder without someone sexing it up.
How do you expect people not to sex dbd up when Jeff exists?
-
Honestly I think Tommy was overrated, just my opinion because he's obviously a popular character, and I can see why. I just thought he was annoying (in part VI anyway). I'd rather have one of the final girls seeing as Friday was one of the first franchises to consistently use that trope.
-
I don't know what world you're living in where the new hit detection is giving killers more unfair hits in comparison to the old one but I don't think it's the one everyone else is in.
-
As much as I agree that it should be an Ace cosmetic, it could be argued that it also fits Dwight as he has a a number of "dead end job" cosmetics, and magician isn't exactly a job that's going to get you far in life.

Survivors are the problem. Survivor that never played spirit dont know how to counter him. Listen the top dbd streamers like Tru3Talent & Otzdarva. Also spirit after last update got also Shadow-nerfed (cant hear survs foot steps anymore). So no, just no, stop saying "Spirit is broken please nerf". Now is completly fine, if you keep loosing againt her its because you dont know how to play agaisnt. Simple and true.
1) She didn't get shadow nerfed, it's a bug.
2) I was a Spirit main for over 2 years, and I can tell you that she is fundamentally broken, the skill of the survivor she is chasing does not matter. As survivor you have to guess what she's doing and hope she doesn't correct her mistake by the time her power ends.
-
@Crowman said:
Lately it just feels like survivors just sort of refuse to learn how to play against different killers. Everything gets called broken or uncounterable and we get a ton of topics complaining about how killers even kill survivors.
It just feels like survivors want a really easy game where they escape all the time.
Okay then, how do you suggest people play against a killer that can pinpoint exactly where survivors are, while completely invisible and moving at nearly double their speed without add-ons?
-
@Squirrel_Thicc said:
Probably because most maps are survivor sided.
Most maps are pretty well balanced, the idea that the majority of maps favour one side or the other is silly.
I'll list all the maps that heavily favour either side here:
Survivor:
- Groaning Storehouse
- Gas Heaven
- Fractured Cowshed
- Haddonfield
- Grim Pantry
- Mother's Dwelling
- The Game
- RPD
Killer:
- Shelter Woods
- Azarov's Resting Place
- Rotten Fields (If killer isn't corn blind)
- Sanctum of Wrath
- Hawkins
- Dead Dawg Saloon
Obviously there are some others that are debatable however I believe these maps to be pretty widely accepted as Killer / Survivor sided
This leaves a total of 22 other maps that are pretty well balanced if players have a good understanding of how the map is laid out, the majority therefore being neither killer nor survivor sided.

I honestly don't have a horse in this race (skill check or no skill check), but I'm going to toss this out there:
I'm surprised no one has suggested having DS be a button press (activate secondary ability) during the 3 second pick-up animation. If you don't press the button, you keep the DS. If you do press it, you hit it and it deactivates. It keeps the "I want the option to keep it" crowd and the "I don't want a skill check" crowd happy.
This would be a nice change

They still can abuse it by jumping into a locker to bully the killer and to get a guaranteed escape during EGC. Free escape during EGC is not "protection against tunneling", and unfortunately it still works exactly like this.
You could always just, idk, not open the locker and wait out DS? That seems like a no brainer to me.
-
Jill or Rebecca (if we're also including spin-off games, then also January)
-
Survival points are probably the main problem, in order to get them you are required to either run specific perks, play against specific killers, or rely on pure luck. IMO, most of the actions that award boldness points should instead award survival points e.g. cleansing totems, sabotaging hooks, etc.
-
Was Chapel considered a well balanced map? The only thing I ever heard about it was that it was tiny, never heard anyone say that it was well balanced.
-
What is it with people wanting this outfit so bad? It's pretty mediocre.

Replace the animation with a parkour roll and remove the distance. Easy.
Okay? Then the perk is useless, a missed attack cooldown is only 1.5 seconds, so unless the survivor using it can reach a pallet or window within that 1.5 seconds, they'll just go down.
-
When survivors get some more viable perks, sure
-
All of them? Every killer has a cooldown upon successfully hitting a survivor, Victor's could be longer for a number of reasons:
- He moves at the speed of light
- His hitbox is the size of Mars
- He has the potential to completely ignore pallets and windows
- He has high slugging and camping potential
-
The user agreement states that the devs will have control over pretty much everything, with most things being subject to change. Don't like it? Don't agree to it. Although you would no longer be able to play the game.
-
That's just old OoO

Nope, the problem is the owners of the game don't knowing how to balance this and staying in confort zone because of no competition.
So now you're insinuating that if SWF didn't have any means of 3rd party communication they would still be unbalanced? Makes zero sense but okay.
-
Okay??
