Plot Twist is bugged though. If you get picked up after a flop, you have infinite Plot Twist as long as killer downs you.
-
Singularity is great. High skill floor but very strong and fun.

Yeah pallet spawns can be obnoxious. I had a Gideon today that had TWO god pallets around boiler room.

That seems more gimmicky tbh, if they're all saving each other with flashlights and unbreakable and whatnot then there's no one doing gens
But you are right cuz I haven't faced it, UT it's also cuz I play the game less since bots were added into public matches... really kinda killed the game for me tbh
Makes no sense to punish the killer for someone else DC'ing by providing an all seeing bot that you can't mindgame except to block windows
They only need one person pressuring the down. If you pick up, you get flashy saved. If you don't, you eat Buckle Up endurance.

abusing game mechanics to get a easy win is the exact same thing as cheating i see no difference and this type of thing should not be allowed in a multiplier game. It's extremelly toxic and ruin the fun and game expercience of other. you probably have fun as a killer but not the survivors, this is selfish of them. and since the beggining of the event i have been tunneled on hook to death 99% of the game i've played. you really think this normal behavior on a multiplier game? i don't think so. killer need to be punished to make them stop this toxicity and make this game a better place where people can have fun and enjoy the game.
Consider the following: DS, OTR, DH, Guardian, Distortion, Iron Will, Lucky Break, Renewal, Deliverance, Unbreakable, For the People, Styptic, Syringe, Resurgence, We'll Make It, Borrowed Time, looping better.

The entire point of the post is that the game was 'too hard' or at least 'too survivor-sided'.
You're not wrong that we don't know how the match played out, we were given limited evidence. The only information we get is the end screen and a pile of complaining. It's equally possible that the survivor who escaped hid all match and the killer won this game easily as a 3v1 from the start. But we don't have the video to say specifically.
It feels extra entitled because of the result, that the killer was somehow forced to put in effort to secure a win, when at minimum the choice of possibly the weakest killer in the game is completely in their control.
This feels like yet another post bitching that the devs need to make the game easier because the killer was forced to play with their monitor turned on to play the game. The horror.
You're literally arguing against the ghosts of Christmas past. At no point did I infer that the devs needed to take action, nor is the thread even directed at them. I already stated this was a SWF, and evidently, the James was coordinating with the rest of them until endgame. This was by no means a 3v1. The message of the thread should be quite obvious to anyone not attacking a strawman; I am directing this to survivor mains who are constantly complaining that they only face strong killers, and giving photo evidence as to why someone like me; a killer main; would only play strong killers.
The thing is, and I've already stated this many times in this thread if you'd bothered to read it, the only reason I got the result I did is because these survivors were atrocious at the game (not just average, straight up atrocious). I would have stood absolutely no chance against halfway decent survivors on the same map if they were completely perkless and itemless. The point is specifically that survivors will often go out of their way to put all the chips on their side (map offering, broken items, S-tier perks, 4-man SWFing) and will still complain if they play against a killer that's above B-tier. You don't get to have your cake and eat it too.
-
I got 112k BP yesterday without incentives or bonus BP. I think it's bugged ingame but it computes.
-
You can escape from Wesker bounding you into the gate, just point tech and crawl out. I see so many survivors freak out and run back into the map to give a free kill.

So they should weaken themselves even more so you can... win harder against them next time?
Good survivors don't need half of that to win against a Trapper, but the loss will be fun. There's nothing fun about being sent to Eyrie of no Grass and playing as an M1 killer with no power against busted items and perks.

I'm so sorry about your 3K win. Hopefully next match the 4 Survivors will just run up to you and give you the kill.
Or better yet, hopefully the survivors won't bring map offerings with broken items+S-tier perks and maybe I'll consider playing a killer below A-tier.

There was two P100:s so you did face one of the stronger survivor teams more like and won with weak killer even they sweated... Your proving completely opposite here that you can win good teams even with weak killer if you put the effort. So players should play more of them.
Prestige =/= Skill. I have a clip of Meg taking the absolute worst pathing I've ever seen anyone take and feeding me the first down 30s into the match. I'd post it but I don't know how to censor names in a video.

Yes I know you used Trapper but at the same time your build tells me you really wanted to win (like theirs).
Idk maybe show a different screenshot for whatever point you are trying to make.
The point is evidently to demonstrate what most killers mains have to go up against, and the reasons why you run into so many strong killers (that people are always whining about). If survivors don't want to play against a strong killer every game, they need to stop bringing stuff like this to every match. The only reason I won that game is because I'm a 6k hour killer and they were all trash at the game, hoping to get carried by the map and their items.

How is this a problem? You had to sweat to win against players who were sweating. That's an indicator of balance, if anything. The game would suck if killers could run whatever they wanted, sleepwalk through games, and win even when opponents were sweating. That wouldn't be balanced at all
@Pulsar said:
You played Trapper, who is by and large the WORST Killer into a worst-case scenario without regression perks or busted add-ons against people who were trying to win AND YOU STILL WON.
Why should you expect to win?
They were sweating but they were atrocious at the game is my point. Now imagine if any of them was halfway decent. Why would anyone play a low-tier killer when their odds of running into a sweat squad like this are higher than not?

Had basement in main, AKA very hard to camp. I got an early hook in basement but it was away from all objectives. Hardly anyone got camped this game, but it would have been a different story with basement in shack.

Probably that they had to sweat like their life depended on it to not go out of the match with nothing. I mean, look at the points. That basically tells you how the game went.
No offense op but I take it you tunneled or camped Meg (or maybe she killed herself on hook)?
Yeah Meg got hard tunneled. Had some interesting pathing too, basically gave me the first down for free. P100 pathing be like

Map offerings+broken items+perks will only take you so far if you're bad at the game, but I would have 4k3'd this team on any other map. My point is that gens never should have been done and they would have gotten demolished if I was playing any decent killer.

Its not up to you to decide, its up to how good Nurse is. If they're good, no matter your choice, you get hit.
The only chance for you to out run her lung range is she has to pause and check which direction before lung, good Nurse doesnt give you this precious time, she instantly lung post blink.
I dont complain on Nurse because great Nurse is rare; good Nurses makes the game end fast, I dont have to endure the pain; average Nurse feels fun.
Maybe don't stand there? Put a wall between you and her. Better yet, put multiple walls.

I swear i am just gonna save some notes to my pc. So whenever someone tell me "Break the LoS" i can copy paste to here.
I know. I am doing that. The point is "Break the LoS" is not good counter. It's just not enough to face with this killer. She needs more counters.
Gosh, Trapper, the weakest killer in the game has more counters than Nurse.
Go on, tell me. Breaking LOS is literally how you loop Nurse. Zigzag through clutter, go through JGs with odd pathing, hold W at times, double back at others. Playing against Nurse is tons of fun and a breath of fresh air from something like a SM or Knight.
Trapper, the weakest killer in the game, does indeed have more counters than Nurse, the strongest killer in the game. It's true but I don't know what it proves.

It's clear her power is so busted and there is no fair counters against her.
They can nerf her for million times but nothing will change.
They can take her all add-ons but nothing will change.
They can make her perkless killer to play but nothing will change.
Because this killer is ignoring everything core game has. No respect to pallets, ignore walls, make vaults unsafe. And ofcourse insane map mobility as well.
You nerfed Dead Hard to ground because obviously it was so op. But yet this killer is still in game after years. I think op things deserves to be nerfed only if survivors has it.
There are fair counters against her. Consider the following: use LOS blockers and switch up your double back mindgames. She loses a lot of distance on a missed double blink, and especially more so on a whiffed swing.
Survivor mains when you tell them they can't camp a pallet and be 100% safe:
-
Is 8 minutes supposed to be fast? Most of my games have gens done in 4-5 minutes even with gen regression perks.
-
As a killer main, the fast vault changes are great. I've gotten a lot of hits on fast vaults I never should have gotten, and I'm tired of being hit 3 minutes after vaulting a window while playing survivor.

I think you'd be complaining about these survivors with HOPE, whether or not they had MFT.
Anyways, I know this is a one-sided thread and you won't like my input here. Feel free to ignore it, except for the fact that the devs don't favor survivors and this argument needs to stop. The devs make countless mistakes on both sides every time they do updates. This happens for both sides. Feel free to play another game, maybe that would show 'em.

If you take this as a personal attack, that's on you. (People usually don't like to be called out, I get it, the but damn fam..... you gotta learn to comprehend.) I'm responsible for what I say, not for what you interpret it as. Still not an attack. It's a comparison to how one can perceive you, it's a question if you work in law enforcement and it's a fact that you already confirmed in your posts. You do the same thing by calling everyone else "toxic" and "entitled" just because they hookicide. Is that a personal attack? (By your logic it should be.)
You don't have to parrot back to me what I write. I am well aware.
If you attack a group of people though, that seems to be perfectly fine/ the norm. After all, we are all entitled whenever we hookicide. ;)
I don't have to take it as a personal attack; it is, by definition, an attack on my person (i.e character). I don't think I used the word toxic at all, now you're just putting words in my mouth. I called the behavior entitled because it is representative of an entitled mindset; I can think of very few legitimate reasons to suicide on hook (in the manner that I've described many times) other than valuing your own time more than the time of the other 4 people in the trial with you, who were also hoping to play the game. And if this qualification holds, this behavior is, by definition, entitlement.

I'm stating facts. It's not a personal vendetta. I did not insult you even once. If you read it that way, that's a you problem, because you want to be attacked (verbally), probably you want to play the victim card even harder. I do not have a filter and I am not a native speaker. So no, you can't guiltytrip me with this or gaslight me into being sorry.
But why would I decorate words with roses and butterflies when you don't do the same for others?
"My ultimate goal is for people to stop doing it."
You don't care it upsets others, yet you stated previously it upsets you. Which makes you emotional. Well, tough luck bucko, you AIN'T the vigilante.
"I know their team wants them bled out because they surround me after I down them and nod at me while teabagging the slug."
Well, reportable btw. It's called: Working with the Killer. You as a Killer are reportable for that, too. Told you you are not following the rules either.
All I see you do is police people because YOU feel like it. And that's the problem. And I will speak up until people figure out that they are in the wrong. But instead of actually trying to give solutions, you throw around "fair, goal, upset and ME".
Selfish. That's all it is.
"You are the equivalent to the Karen at the BBQ that blames the person that had too much to drink for saying a "Nono" word, while the guy actually affected shrugs it off."
"You make a scene because you want to. Because you think thats "justice". Are you vigilante by trade?"
"Your logic isn't there. You are emotional and manipulative. You are toxic."
All of the above are direct, personal attacks, mixed in with some fallacious assumptions on my motives.

I think the better question is, how many more pointless threads do you people need to spam to realize that the developers don't use your incessant crying as a measure for if a perk should be nerfed or not.
MFT is fine, it's scary in a good player's hand but 99% of survivors can't use it effectively, it's all in your head. I bet you complain about MFT non-stop during your matches only to go to the scoreboard at the end and realize that people weren't even using it.
Nah, every time I think to myself someone has MFT, the end screen shows that they indeed had it. The fact that they consistently make far away loops and vaults within loops is a pretty good clue.

I don't even remember what I posted, but I've had posts here deleted for dumber things than just being passive aggressive so that wouldn't surprise me.
"how many people do you think that is compared to how many hookicides occur? I'd be willing to wager it's a fraction of a percent."
I doubt it's under a percent. To say such things, you'd have to believe that things such as photosensitivity and phobias are EXTREMELY uncommon, which I think is pretty baseless.
Let's give a hypothetical and say the percentage was truly that small. I still wouldn't agree with the jist of going that just because it's a small percentage, more than likely this person is just trying to grief everyone else and they should've just eaten the penalty. You just don't know these things. I personally just assume that there was a reason why it happened and I move on with my life. But I don't expect you and I to see eye to eye on that opinion as you've admitted you bleed people out for doing this (claiming it's justice which is hilarious, I can guarantee you most survivors do not see that as justice, it's a video game Superman, breathe), so I don't much care for this topic as I know neither of us will agree on it.
I don't have to believe that phobias are uncommon, I'd have to believe that people give up at an alarming rate, and a lot of it is obviously because they have a problem with something they saw. Of all the hookicides I've seen in my time play, there is none that I can evidently recognize as being anything but "I want out of this game because I don't like it". Survivor goes down in chase in 10s? Hookicide. Survivor is playing against Twins/Pinhead/Legion/Nurse/Blight/Spirit? Hookicide. Survivor didn't see 3 gens pop after looping the killer for 30s? Hookicide. Survivor sees a teammate doing a chest/totem? Hookicide.

You just stated that you will force your way onto them if they try to get out of the game any other way by slugging them for 4 minutes. You force your own "right" onto the people you think are in the wrong. You aren't any better than people any%-ing on hook. Stop pretending that you are.
Lemme quote you real quickly:
"I actually DO get quite upset when people try to suicide against me as a killer."
&
"if and when they get unhooked by a farming teammate, you can bet I WILL find them, and I WILL down them, and I WILL slug them while BMing over their slug"
So you rather make them bleed out, because you are upset? Funny, that being slugged for 4 minutes + BP you've earned is still better than DCing and eating a 5 minute penalty, innit? Still not the way to go about it, as you just fight perceived toxicity with toxicity. Way to go champ. Way to go.
Hookicides aren't a loophole. If the Devs didn't want them in the game, they'd done away with them already. But alas, since they are in the game, we've got people like you getting upset, because someone else doesn't play the game the way you want them to play.
Upping the DC penalty won't change that. It would just make more people do the "loophole thing" instead of giving the team a bot.
I would say "stop being a special snowflake" but I don't think that whatever someone else tells you, will make you see that you are actually in the wrong here. (Not saying I don't get your point of view, just not agreeing with you crusading against people playing a game.)
Yes, I bleed them out. I do so not for myself, but for their teammates. I'm providing them justice, in the same way I wish killers would do for me. An entitled survivor thinks their time is worth more than the other 4 people in the lobby, I think different. I will force them to either eat the DC penalty, or watch their teammates farm and get 30k+ bloodpoints each while they walk away with 5k. I'd venture to say this will be quite upsetting for them, and that's the point. People tend to avoid doing things that upset them, if enough killers adopt my mindset, maybe we can condition the entitlement out of these survivors.
You see, it's not vindictive. It is fair and just. They eat the DC penalty, or they eat the 4 minute bleedout timer with BM to boot. Either way, they serve their sentence. And believe it or not, I've had overwhelming positive feedback from doing this (a rare thing to receive as a killer). Obviously not from the person slugged.
No, hookicides couldn't be gone tomorrow if BHVR wanted them to be. The reason why we have a roadmap is BECAUSE BHVR can't snap their finger and make things happen. It takes time to implement and test things, and BHVR has a lot of priorities, between constant bug fixes, perk and killer rebalancing, new content, etc.
-
@CrypticGirl said:
Agreed. The guy's all about following the rules as well. "Hookiciding is against the rules." But isn't telling people to DC also against the rules?
DCing is against the rules and already has a penalty in place. I don't want you to either hookicide or DC, but if it's between the two, I'd rather you take the avenue that leaves us with a bot and a penalty instead of finding loopholes.
-

giggling rn because apparently my post was in the wrong and got deleted but here we have Joe Shmoe demanding people dc and take a penalty if they're having problems related to disability/accessibility mid match and that's okay, yes, tell people to prioritize dc'ing in a videogame before they go take care of themselves. it's always so funny how it's all sunshine and rainbows and "please have empathy and sympathy for your team!!!" until people with disabilities and accessibility issues are brought up, then it's "well screw that guy who is standing still right now must be an inconsiderate evil person". please be trolling!!!
how about let's fix accessibility issue killers before we blame the people affected by them? blaming the people affected isn't cute and is honestly really disgusting and i think this thread has definitely crossed a line from "ok hookicides are annoying" to "how can we antagonize people already struggling today?"
Your passive aggressive tone probably had something with your post being deleted. Respect is a two-way street.
Video games aren't essential to survive, and if someone with a disability is ruining games for people because of it, maybe they shouldn't run that risk until BHVR introduces more accessibility features (which I'm all in favor for). But again, your disability isn't a golden ticket in my book. At the end of the day, I'm trying to play the game too, and I couldn't care less as to WHY you left the game, I just look at the bottom line.
But let's say we give any people with a disability carte blanche to hookicide at will, how many people do you think that is compared to how many hookicides occur? I'd be willing to wager it's a fraction of a percent.

So you are telling me to do what actually IS against the rules? Like I have said again and again, I usually try to stick it out as long as he's not running that Iridescent Queen addon, though honestly most Doctors do lately. As for them being so rare, that isn't the point. I shouldn't have to accept a penalty because of a problem with sensory overload making it difficult. Yes, it does suck for the other players, especially now that they add bots, but I don't agree that I should have a penalty. If I just didn't like Doctor that would be different. So many players DC or just give up when it's a killer they don't like, and I hate those players. But those with emetophobia, with courlophobia, or sensory overload or any other actual health reason to need to quit versus a particular killer, no they should not be obligated to take a penalty.
Yes, you should be obligated to take a penalty. No offense, but I really don't care what your reason for quitting is. It's quite simple: you don't play the game, take the penalty. If you give up the game, you're throwing for your team. It's that simple.

- When starting to run, break into a sprint at 150 % of your normal Running Movement speed for 3 seconds.
Sprint Burst causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
Sprint Burst cannot be used when Exhausted.
You can't recover from exhaustion while running
With the above information how can you run with an active SB? You need 0 exhaustion to even have SB active and as soon as you start running, SB triggers, making you exhausted again.
He's not wrong, you can have a true 99 SB where you're not exhausted and SB hasn't triggered yet, which means MFT can also be active. Any experienced player knows this. The trick is to do very small walk/run cycles when your Exhaustion is nearing 99, but to start running before fully triggering the SB.
-
"until full-self recovery is implemented"
Not gonna happen. The only problematic slugging is slugging for 4k. All that's needed is give both players basekit UB if two players are left alive, or allow last slug to bleed out faster if they wish to.

To be honest I will use it if the game is going badly. My reasoning being that we are all likely to die at some point so why drag it out. I'd rather die now on the hook and get into a new game. It is very painful playing with bad survivors, and from experience you can tend to see where the game is going. So if it feels very likely nobody is going to escape, why drag it out.
I've tried to keep my point brief because some of these raging essay replies are too cringe.

Just take note that what you do is peak entitlement too. You want people to play the way you want them to play. And if they don't they are entitled.
Also there is no 1 minute lockout anymore. It starts with 5. 5 minutes in which one could play another game already.
Uno reverse aye?
I don't want people to play the way I want them to play, I want them to play within the RULES without looking for loopholes to avoid them. DCing is considered unsportsmanlike conduct. By any standard, hookicides would be considered so under the same umbrella, if they weren't so hard to differentiate from a legit attempt to escape.
5 minutes isn't high enough for a DC penalty to act as a proper deterrent imo actually, I would be okay with them bumping it to 10.

Time-wise, it takes 1.5 seconds to disarm the trap.
Healing a fall takes 16 seconds.
What do you think is more beneficial?
In both cases, a survivor team member must go to help the downed person.
A survivor that self-slugs can actually move away from the trap though. Staying in the trap is even better than being slugged for the killer, because you are aware at all times of exactly where they are, and exactly where their teammate needs to go to save them. And you're right, it does take 16s to pick up someone fully from the ground, but that may also be a hook denial if the person chooses to self-slug and crawls away somewhere out of sight to recover. Even then, it may not be a full 16s that the person picking up has to commit, depending on how much recovery was made.
