They work a lot of the time actually. Sad to hear you got survivors who were bad at doing them.

As opposed to Billy and Leatherface who have NOED all match? :)
It's not the same. Windows and pallets destroy them because they have to charge up. Hillbilly additionally can be point-blank juked because of bad killer fov.
-
This is exactly what I've been saying. Myers is garbage except for when you use an OP pink or purple add-on and the green hair bow.
This is Wraith and Leatherface all over again. "This killer is so OP!" Now try playing them without the 2 pink add-ons.

It takes so much time to get to tier 3 with that build. You should have 3 gens done by that time.
Small comfort considering he's got basically NOED for the rest of the match.

I hate the amount of safe pallets in these reworks. There's just no mindgame. The Game is the most ridiculous because of all the god pallets. This game is becoming pallet break simulator, especially since breakable walls are, 90% of the time, survivor sided pre-dropped pallets that create god loops until broken.

You don't need to have perfect aim to hit a survivor. You're making it sound way harder than it really is. Now if the hitbox was the size of the character model that'd be a different story.
That's half the problem: the survivor hitbox is deceptive. You have to aim at their feet to have the most accurate chance of hitting them, especially with Hillbilly's chainsaw, but that will cause you to lose them as soon as they pass out of your fov. Despite people complaining about the new animations, they were leagues more accurate as to where the survivor actually was. I simply didn't get 360d while they were in the game.

If you were any good, you'd be using the red stain to help you mindgame.
I do. But they can still hear you, and I know that because as a survivor I can hear a Pyramid Head or Doctor or Hillbilly at a jungle gym or other loop, and know exactly where they are without the red stain. So the red stain is the icing on top. If survivors didn't have enough indication of where you are, the red stain comes into play.

Well, I take it back.
OP apparently isn't the only person who can't hit spins.
Well I'm sorry but I play on controller. Very high sensitivity is too much but let's me hit 360s, and less sensitivity ensures that the 360s will work. Even without the controls issue, the devs have to introduce aim dressing into the mix! So keep on thinking people getting 360d is a skill problem and not what it is: an unreactable, unrealistically fast survivor turn rate problem.

It's not hard to back up and watch the survivor spin a circle. Do you need to be spoon fed every hit now?
Apparently I do, which is fair since survivors also get spoonfed on hits in general. This isn't like CoD where you can melee attack without someone even being on your screen and you hit them. You must have perfect aim at point blank, and even then aim dressing will rob you. I keep having seasons where I think I've outgrown 360s, but then I get 360d. They're very unhealthy for the game since they only work on "bad" killers and killers who get aim dressed more often like Demogorgon and Legion.

@SocialDistomancy said:
best advice is if you're not having fun as killer play as survivor instead. they just fixed survivors. took a long time this time lol
Now you can 360 killers to your heart's content again.

Every game I play with him is a hard one. It doesn't matter if it's solo or SWF. Might as well through NOED on when playing as him.

@senki527 said:
why are you crying? cause you are a killer main getting juked all day? then l2p
DBD without 360's would not be DBD, mate
You're right about that! We here in DBD like to preserve as many skilless perks and mechanics as possible, most of all 360s. Why be skillful and loop when you can just spin and get i-frames?
-
@Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:
Those are the new and improved 360s you're so upset about?
Damn.
If they weren't going so fast the game can't even properly visualize it, i'd say those are the clunkiest and most obvious spins in the world.
Yes, we're upset about 360s. Before the update, nobody tried to 360. After, everybody is 360ing because they can't loop and have to use bad animation exploits. Especially with killers like Legion, Hag, Demogorgon, they get aim dressed more than usual.
-
It's literally a beacon to survivors. There's no mindgame even at weak loops because it exists. We only have Tinkerer and Dark Devotion as a band-aid fix.
-
Let Buckle Up have infinite range instead of having to be super close to see the aura. Remove the healing requirement from Second Wind. Make Cruel Limits block the windows near the survivor you're chasing, rather than near a completed gen. Remove the cooldown from Hex: Blood Favor. Return Mettle of Man to 2 protection hits. Adrenaline should not activate if you're already exhausted.
-
He's one of those garbage killers that requires minimum green add-ons to be good.
-
They are so easy to beat. Just heal so that you don't all get slugged.
-
If you're playing killer, you must have tunneled at some point in the match, according to survivors.

Maybe you're just bad at doing them. I know I am, but that didn't stop me from spinning killers on numerous occasions.

Basement Trapper is a crime against humanity. It's actually more toxic than Basement Bubba, because you don't even need to stay in the basement. You can just use the coiled spring and float around nearby and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Deeply deeply shameful.
You're bad and you should feel bad.
I hardly play that build. But I don't use Iron Grasp or Mad Grit. STBFL, Monstrous Shrine, Agitation, and Surge. But literally you can counter it by doing the gens, and not hook bombing basement.

Sad truth is these killers you went against were absolute garbage and can't figure out the counter to something that simple.
Or it's because 360s are just that overpowered. You have to expect it. You don't just assume they're gonna 360 if they haven't done it once yet. It's funny. That's how most OP survivor things are: half their power lies in the killer not knowing you have it.
-
There's using facts and logic, like the fact that a mouse and keyboard is better than every way than a controller. Then there's people stereotyping like "All console players are bad." even though that's based on nothing.

Is that why Scott went YEARS without getting spun? So yeah I’d say really good killers very very rarely get spun. They know how to counter it. Pretty much anything in this game has a counter people are just too lazy to learn something new. They want it as vanilla as possible......Me SwInG wEaPoN mE sHoUlD gEt HiT.
Faking a window vault or fast vaulting a pallet because of Spine Chill, yes the killer should miss because they swung too early and it literally isn't supposed to reach the survivor. But survivors who 360 are basically exploiting because the killer is close enough to hit them, but they abuse bad killer fov, aim dressing, and latency to get basically a free health state. And the base miss cooldown is so slow that, amazingly, sometimes that let's the survivor get to a pallet safely. If 360ing was a viable strat in any other game, it would get laughed out of the market, but here it's a "tech" that only works on "bad" killers.

Point still stands, countering 360's is laughably easy like i said. You make it sound like 360'ing is so OP and works all the time and that Survivors aren't in need of pallets and vaults at all with it existing.
When I go for 360s as survivor, it succeeds about half the time, and this is in red ranks.

Sounds like u all got a bit too comfortable with Killer being free wins for 2 weeks while Survivors had to deal with desync and awkward/clunky movement during that time. So much that you all can't even handle the slightest bit of challenge now (actually, challenge is an overstatement even) which is simply paying a little bit attention when you're about to swing and being patient.
How this became such a hot topic now is beyond me, the counterplay to it is laughably easy. They're not even reliable in a chase and are used as a last resort and generally just because it's fun to attempt, even if it gets you killed mostly. Same with moonwalking. It's all just fun stuff and there's no reason to take it away and if you genuinely have trouble in chase against any of these i don't know what to tell you except get better at the game, really.
The movement before this patch was such a hindrance and mostly got you killed at loops. If it's a super unsafe loop on top of it, good luck.
BHVR made a great decision listening to their veteran players this time. It's nice to see that movement feels great again.
Get off this high horse that survivors couldn't win with bad hitboxes. They had the same chances of winning as long as they weren't greedy af at every pallet and window like they usually were.

"Hot take: 360's are not necessary. They are a stupid gimmick........ because i don't like them"
We don't like them BECAUSE they're a stupid gimmick.
-
It's there for good reason. 1 survivor shouldn't be able to run a killer for 3+ minutes at no-mindgame loops, which there are many of in every map.

I remember this, too. The thing is, the killers that bothered to stay playing through all the BS in this game, of course they can deal with it now, it's all muscle memory and the game isn't that deep overall. Doesn't mean it's not a bit unfair and shouldn't have been something to contend with in the first place. It absolutely harms last gen console players and switch users.
Yes. I do get 360d sometimes. But I have adapted, by 360ing as killer to hit them. But it took months to get the muscle memory down. 360ing is unacceptable if you ask me. It's like if you could avoid all the shots in an fps by jumping up and down like crazy. Except in DBD it's an easy fix but the devs don't want to expand the killer fov, which would solve so many problems including 360s.

Imagine crying about getting spun then blaming it on them fixing the stiff feeling controls that survivors had last patch.
I played survivor last patch and it felt the exact same as it always has.

So, in other words: "oh no, i have to properly aim now"
But we're talking about melee attacks here. It's not Call of Duty. We're not wildly swinging our weapons or anything. The game requires to hit the survivors in such a specific little spot, and then it can still get taken away by aim dressing and lag.
-
SLENDER?!
-
It sounds good to me. Only 3 perks for killer basically, because they're forced to take Ruin, but that's alright. Ruin is the most consistent perk that rewards killer for pressuring gens, which is why Undying got nerfed because killers can't have nice things.

@indieeden7 said:
How come this wasn't an issue until now? The animations were only live for about a few weeks, nobody was complaining about 360s before then.
It's been an issue for years, but people dismiss it because apparently "GoOd killers NeVeR get 360'd".
-
@I_am_Negan said:
It's not hard take a step back watch them and don't be quick to swing
Yes, you step back and then what? They got distance on you. Then you follow them and they do the 360 all over again. You're gonna have to attack at some point.
-
This is what I've been saying about survivor speed and turn rate for years! I'm having to aim my weapon with the precision of a sniper at point blank range just to hit them!
-
Anybody who complains about BBQ can't loop, so they hate that the killer can see where they are, like it's that powerful somehow.
-
@Shaped said:
Why am I always paired with new players against red ranks killers then? Every game I played after update my team was inexperienced.
Because you're not SWF.
-
The only time Ruin is any good is when the survivors aren't gen jockeying and you get an insanely lucky totem spawn.
-
The matchmaking is super messed up. I feel like I get the worst of both worlds as survivor. In solo que, the killer is purple rank and my teammates are yellows. In SWF, just because we have 1 red rank, the killer is always red rank. This is forced smurfing as a game mechanic.
-
Pretty much nothing.

Let me rephrase this its not that he isn't scary or a horrorifc character its just he seems too powerful to fit into this game it would be like if they put bright burn in because he is a scary character it just wouldn't make sense for him to be downscaled so much to fit into this game.
You know what I mean?
Everybody gets their abilities scaled down. Myers, Freddy, Demogorgon, you name it.
-
You're not losing because of the UI or animations. In fact, you wouldn't be losing at all if the emblem system was working correctly. You'd definitely be pipping despite dying, it sounds like. The biggest problem in the game right now is the survivor emblem bug, because it persists even in the rare match where there are no hitbox problems.
-
You can't win.

If you don't think he's a good horror character, you must not have seen the show.
-
Killers are curbstomping the survivors? English is read left to right, remember.
-
Dead Hard is absolutely busted. It's a third health state, simply because it provides i-frames which other exhaustion perks don't have. You're not winning a match against 4 survivors who all have Dead Hard.
