Yes! Finally someone understands!

Pop, BBQ, Iron Maiden, Bamboozle. Pop and BBQ: pretty standard. Iron Maiden counters people jumping in lockers, and Bamboozle eliminates the major weakness of chainsaw killers: windows.

Since they are nerfing ds some people want dead hard next and I wanted to have serious discussion because a lot of people make that post then the comments all say something like "What next do you want them to remove all loops dirty killer main" because I think dead hard is really unhealthy for the game.
Think of a perk that lets a survivor waste a lot more of the killers time for no risk to the survivor. You were probably thinking of the first iteration of ds ,but the same exact logic can apply to dead hard. There are so many times as killer where I was about down someone and they dead hard to a pallet and now they get a free escape and I am closer to losing the game. Perks shouldn't be allowed to do this and the devs agree with that and that's why ds is getting changed or was changed in the first place. Dead hard just doesn't feel fair when it is used that way so that's why they should rework the perk to be more fair for both sides.
Do you agree or disagree? let me know in the comments.
I feel so safe with Dead Hard, even while injured. I can't waste it like Sprint Burst, I don't need a window or a fall to activate it. It's the perfect exhaustion perk. It's OP. It's a third health state.

yeah I agree and then remove bloodlust and I think the chases will be a lot more skill based and the game will feel a lot more fair.
If they remove bloodlust there needs to be more mindgameable pallets per map. Many pallets in The Game, Temple of Purgation and Haddonfield, with 2 long sides and a pallet in the middle, are a perfect example of what not to do with pallets. There's just no mindgame, even with Bloodlust I.
-
Playing killer, I'm constantly saying to myself, "Can't see em." "Couldn't hear em." They really need to fix the lighting and restore killer hearing to its former glory.
-
Bullies.
-
They should do that.

Dead Man's Switch doesn't have a cooldown. It just won't reactivate if the effect is already active.
Maybe that wasn't the best example because its cooldown is also its duration, but it does have the ridiculous requirement of hooking the obsession.
-
They should really make a preference setting or something. Do you want similarly ranked opponents/teammates or do you want short que times? Because apparently the game can't do both.
-
Y'all really aren't understanding the sarcasm in this.
-
Lil Yachty, so he can sing his "cold like Minnesota!" when someone switches to him in the lobby.
-
It's pretty busted. You can do gens at lightning speed, you can make sure everyone is on death hook before anyone gets killed, you can body block and flashlight save, you can all 4 run Adrenaline and stay injured. It's insane. And don't tell me I'm exaggerating or am a killer main because this is all from experience.

How do they stay at those ranks?
It may not literally be rank 20, but you can tell by their gameplay they haven't progressed past the beginner stage. And it could also be that some just don't play their own game so they're rank 20 by default.
-
I don't care. When we get an original one, cool. When we get a licensed one, cool. As long as they're new and interesting I'm happy.
-
Like all maps in this game, the swamp maps are garbage. The biggest insult to killers though is the constant slidey obstacles that Blight can't bump into, so even when it's a big open map where he's supposed to thrive, you can't bump against anything, like a farm map but worse.

They literally specified on stream that the DS Nerf was coming with chapter 19.
Should have come sooner. They sure didn't wait that long to make the Undying nerf live.

No, it´s not just one question. There are several pages that revolve around esports and if we like to watch them, how much we spend on them, what merchandising we buy, etc.
I didn't say it was the only one. I'm tired of having surveys so long yet filled to the brim with so many arbitrary and nonsensical questions, while also not featuring obvious questions like, "Do you have frame rate problems?" "How fun does it feel to go against multiple strong perks on every survivor?" They try so hard when making these surveys to be as vague and unhelpful as possible.

If a billy can consistently hit curves how is bubba better when he’s a slower hillbilly?
Because Leatherface can instadown multiple survivors in one chainsaw flurry whereas Hillbilly stops after downing someone. I've yet to hear a good reason from anyone as to why this difference exists.

It looks like the devs want to know how eager we would be, to spend money for official e-sport merchandise, when DbD becomes a e-sport game.
While DbD is in no shape to become a e-sport game anytime soon, i´d love to see how it becomes one. But they need to focus on balancing first.
It's just one of those many unnecessary questions they put on surveys that doesn't make a lick of difference. I'm literally not taking the surveys anymore because they're so long for no good reason.

Spine chill is an amazing perk. Unless you qre playing a stealth killer lol
It's why I run it. I never get snuck up on.

I think I had a survivor bow to my Spirit, and leave their supplies. I was so confused. . . . .
It's a peace offering. They're hoping by dropping their item, you'll let them go. I'd let a survivor go if it meant leaving their OP key behind.
-
You just play the game normally and the killer loses you more often simply because you have it on. You make zero sounds while injured, so make use of that fact.
-
@chadbeastofprey said:
you equip it.
My thoughts exactly.
-
There are no overpowered killer perks, and if there were at one time they've been nerfed, because DBD's killers aren't supposed to be powerful. That would ruin the survivors' fun.
-
And the devs are hard at work making sure those survivors feel comfortable tbagging by improving the animation. They literally said that.

The perk is getting nerfed this chapter
I'll believe it when I see it. The change was revealed like 2 patches ago, and I'm still getting punished for tunneling 2 and 3 people at once somehow. They're dragging their feet on survivor nerfs once again.
-
And the solution is not to disable people's ability to play with their friends. The solution is to make killers stronger, and you can't do that without first buffing solos. So you devs need to start solving problems so that you can solve other problems.
-
If you want to torture yourself/get better with killer, you use them with only brown add-ons. That's what I use to judge a killer's strength; if they need green and pink add-ons to win, they're no good. But anyway, my methods did help me get back to rank 1 with Trapper after every rank reset. On my journey I've witnessed this game's survivor sidedness in all its glory. You can't compete with top level SWF unless you're like a god with Nurse/Spirit. Your only hope is to get matched with solos, and maybe just maybe you'll get a 4k.
-
Just take the current one and give it infinite range on the aura reading. There's no reason for it to have a range limit.
-
Same goes for DS. The perk can't be nerfed soon enough, but they're taking their sweet time with it naturally.
-
All of them.
-
People sleep on Spine Chill and call it a noob perk. You've proved them wrong for me I guess.
-
I don't care about that. I feel like it would be a cool thing to have happen once, but the devs will see its success and assume that doing it for the next 4 chapters as well would also be automatically successful, and then it doesn't turn out that way because it'd be a complete fail trend that nobody likes.
Tl;dr No I don't hope for that.
-
Sounds like you're stuck in low ranks where there's a bunch of noobs and selfish people who DC on a whim. Once you get past there it gets better. There's garbage players in red ranks but it's not gonna be like that every game. And if you can find SWF, do it because it makes survivor a lot easier, assuming y'all know how to play. But you're wrong on the game being killer sided. Most high level players agree that overall the game is survivor sided. Maybe if you're going against Nurse, Freddy, Spirit and pink/purple add-on users all the time, you're not seeing that side of the game, but it's there nonetheless. You can quit if you want but sadly this game is the best of its genre, and you'll have a hard time finding a replacement.
-
They should get their own maps. I don't know what the Twins' map would be, but Blight's should be a variation of Crotus Penn made to look like that chapel in his reveal trailer.
-

I hope they get unique chase music at the very least
They do.
-
Survivors are usually toxic to the killer in the chat, win or lose.
-
My honest opinion? None of them. There's not 1 map I can think of as killer where I spawn in it and think "This is gonna be ez."

Don’t throw it at your feet!!!
God!!!
Throw it WAY ahead of you when you spot a survivor you intend to chase. It will be active by the time you pass through.
Also, you CAN throw it at your feet at loops, then USE the 2.5 second delay to set up a tonic at a DIFFERENT part of the loop, then run through the Antidote and force the survivor through the Tonic.
It's a lot of extra work. It's like double blinking to hit a survivor when you can single blink and hit them.
-
Before someone says this is a dumb idea, let's talk about a great idea the devs have come up with: "Let's give every killer joke add-ons that do nothing but make their powers worse, and also grant a smidge more bp. Then, let's make them common so that players are essentially forced to get them as they go through the bloodweb, even if they really don't want them. That way, the players waste hundreds of thousands of bp on add-ons that they'll never use and are offered constantly." Play with padded jaws, speed limiter, or rickety chain and tell me how much more valuable they are than the 3000 bp you used to buy them.

I Like dying light. Good perk with a good Idea behind it.
It's not a good perk. It's actually a garbage perk because it helps the SURVIVORS more than it does the killer.
-
The low and mid tier killers can't afford to go for 2-hit chases all match long, so they bring instadown capabilities. There's nothing you can do about it except play safer when you can be 1-shot, so do that.
-
Since this port's conception, bro. It's never getting fixed, and I dare the devs to prove me wrong!
-
And they need to up the bp cap to 999,999,999 instead of a measily 1 million. I'm tired of nearing the 700k-800k bp range and thinking "better spend some bloodpoints on something or soon I'll be wasting it".

Not every survivor has a good headset. And most killers don't do that.
If you're playing this game without headphones I don't know what you're doing. And I most killers don't do what?
-
If you're doing the crouch tech and she catches you in it, mix it up. Don't just crouch and sit there, crouch for a few seconds then double back. Sometimes don't double back, go to the left or right instead. Or run the best survivor perk: Iron Will. The killer can't catch you if they can't hear you.
-
It's not. You pick up Twins and see how hard it is to land a pounce. Again, a killer power countered by survivors moving left and right.
-
I want to go for 12 hooks, but gen rush dictates I slug and 1-hook everyone.
