In the last week I've converted to Freddy. He's the most fun and interactive killer to me. I think he's the 3rd or 4th best killer in the game. Even arguably Spirit level (I'm a former Spirit main).
Im glad they gave freddy some love but man i do miss the old freddy. So what if he wasnt good at high ranks. Im not either lol

I main Legion... now excuse me, but I'm going to cry in the corner.
Got room for a clown main in that corner? I bring my own handkerchief

I do think that there's an argument to be made to change it so moris only work on death hook. Also that cypress mori should be base kit.
But, we still get objectives saying to kill someone with our own hand. (Mori) To do that without mori is rancor or devour hope. Can't rely on devour hope, although I did have a game last night where for once i got to mori someone half a second before they broke the totem but odds are usually stacked against you, especially at high ranks.
Anyway, the mori is really the only advantage against swf and therefor i just dont think they need to go away.
-
Lets look at it from killer side. 4 man swf as rank 12 killer. 2 medkits, 2 tool boxes. Purple coin offering to add 2 chests. Game is over in 4 minutes. Score board shows one rank 16 player and three players between the ranks of 6 to 4. 2 instaheals and a bnp.
Guarantee you that game was not fun for the killer and happens way more than an eboni mori.
Also 30 hours in you are still playing with newer people. I loved bringing moris when i started as killer because it did give me an advantage. Time goes by you get better and then decide you don't need to bring them anymore. Until you go up against a game like i described last paragraph lol.
Do ebony moris need some work? Yes they do. But outside of the top 3 or 4 killers, it is really the only OP and unfair killer item most killers can bring.
Killer is supposed to be the power role and yet so many of them rely on survivor plays that in actuality the survivors dictate the game. The mori is about the only thing that gives killer any real threat and even then good survivors can absolutely make a killer waste the offering,
-
Hag is fun to play and 3rd seal goes really good with leatherfaces knockout. Also devour hope is one of my favorite perks. Honestly if you dont mind fooling with hexs, all of hags are good.
Discordance from legion is good for tracking.
Thrilling tremors is pretty good also from ghostface.
There really are a bunch of decent killer perks. Really it's just going for what fits your playstyle
-
I think the killer was just being nice to be honest.
Heres a good rule to go by, both in DBD and in real life....Never trust the thing thats trying to kill you.
-
Survivors must stay 32 meters for perk to activate, killer 16. If survivors are swarming then the perk is useless as its meant for face camping and the killer is free to run around. Not an exhaustion perk so person on hook still will have whatever exhaustion perks available to get away.
Unless survivors go for the save then they shouldnt be anywhere near there. I dont see how this can be abused. Not arguing just trying to understand your pov
-
32 meters.
-
Killer would have to not be in a chase or no other survivors in close proximity.
-
Perk - Get Out Of My Face - When on a hook, if the killer remains within 16 meters of you for 30 seconds, you can successfully pull yourself off the hook. If the killer hits you within 15 seconds after jumping off, the killer is stunned.
Gives teammates time to rescue you and if you time it right, you waste a good bit of the killers time.
Make it a generic unlockable so beginner low rank people can get it easier
-
Theres a difference between leaving someone to die on hook because you can't be bothered to rescue them and not being able to because killer is face camping. Yes a well coordinated team will have no problems whatsoever in rescuing even against a facecamper, but for solo players more than likely they wont be able to deal with a face camper.
I amend my statement because sometimes i forget there aren't any absolutes. Theres a difference between trying and sitting in a corner of the map going into and out of lockers to avoid stillness crows. Situations change. Although as a survivor who plays solo, i would much rather they get the generators they are working on finished before coming after me. That's just good time and objective management. It avoids the killer coming by and regressing it and losing all the progress.
As for me complaining on the forums, i will do my best to rescue you, but again, as a solo survivor, there is only so much i can do. And if im being camped i will get every last BP of struggle points as i can and waste as much time as i can for the rest of my team. If im playing, that means i have nothing else to do and 2 minutes of hanging around isn't that big a deal for me.
-
I would be ok with a survivor being camped getting points for everything that was accomplished while being there, much like in a chase.
That would be more than fair i think.

spoken like a substitute teacher who doesn't understand the material.
if you're watching me get camped and you're trying to focus on gens and rush out at my expense, all i can say is LUL..
hope you get better at the game at some point, but the only thing i can guarantee is that i'm not gonna stick around to find out if that point happens to be the current match..
And that perspective there is the biggest problem for survivors. This is a team game on survivor side. Why do you think they are trying bring solos up to swf knowledge levels.
Being selfish on survivor side is almost like working with the killer in the advantage it gives you.
Survivors complain about 'toxic' killers, and ruin and noed and bloodlust. Y'all are the biggest handicaps to yourselves that I've seen.
Everyone complains about moris. Hell suiciding and DCing is just a mori that the killer doesn't have to burn an offering for.
-
While camping sucks for the person on hook, it has a huge benefit to your team. In all honesty, what screws over survivors more is when they suicide/DC on the hook. That's what you should be more upset about. Not the killer wasting time.
-
I usually level as i go along, but at the moment I'm getting everyone to 40 killer side, then when when new changes hit I'm getting everyone to 50. Then im going to work on prestiging and since i play everyone except nurse and pig, as my mood strikes, if there were a sale then that's who i would prestige.
Also, do you buy every perk in the shrine every week? I don't. Since going to xbox, I've bought 1 perk. Nobody complains that the shrine exists if they don't use it, so if a character isnt on sale you want to play, then it doesn't matter. It isnt hindering you in any way. Its not like all other character blood webs are going to be 10% more expensive. It's there if you want it, if not you can ignore it.
Mostly it will benefit you when theres a character you dont like playing but still want to level.
-
Im not a fan of hex perks in general. Ive made that clear in other posts. Ruin for me is always a coin toss. I prefer killers like leatherface and doctor. Zero mobility basically. While i dont think doctor absolutely needs it, leatherface does. Not because its fun in and of itself. But if it takes a minute before they find and destroy it, that's a minute more time i have to play the game. The game is fun to me. Waiting 10 minutes for a game that lasts 5 sucks. Ruin can help prolong things.
And in a game where add ons add 1/4 seconds to action speeds, literally every second delaying survivers from doing gens is a win.
-
I agree. Maybe if everyonecould talk a little post game hate would be a bit less
-
Sticking strictly to offerings that are OP, play any killer but nurse when survivors burn a Haddonfield offering. Gg
(Mostly kidding but still overly balanced towards the survivor)
-
Random like the shrine is. Not trying to completely eliminate the grind just help out. I personally hate putting bloodpoints into characters i dont play so having a discount on those characters would be nice. As well as helping get to level 40.
-
-
Because Jonathan looks just like Quentin. If Quentin wasn't based on a real person, my wife and I agree that if they made a dbd movie, dude who plays Jonathan would be cast as Quentin.
-
I get instaheals every game anyway. Dont see many moris, maybe my rank maybe just xbox. If i do then oh well, next game please. I'm not asking for buy ine get one free. But 10% would make 1 million BP get to 39 from 35. Not game breaking just a small boost for new players and those wanting to p3 people.
Also yes the level 40 change is nice, and the 10% just gets you there a little bit faster.
-
Either not have them active until they gain the stack or just nerf them and remove hex perks tied to totems.
Maybe add more totems that passively give a notification every so often to the killer when someone is in a certain radius. Every 30 seconds? Survivors would be forced to cleanse totems to avoid alerting killers to their location, it would force a secondary objective as well as give survivors extra Blood points. Ruin would get a nerf/buff in that it wouldnt be able to be destroyed in first 20 seconds but not have as good an effect.
-
An add on that makes the gas last longer (a minute or so) as it would be nice if he could somewhat preemptively block a loop before the chase. Force survivors into running to unsafe areas.
-
Sometimes the best strategy is to leave the guy on hook. Rush the gens and get out. After game thank the player fpr their sacrifice and for wasting the killers time by not DCing.
It sucks but its not bannabal. Its unfun but then again I can't imagine the killer really had fun sitting there for 2 minutes holding a button. I mean at least survivors get skill checks to break up the monotony of gen repairs
-
Self care got changed because survivors were healing mid chase. Exhaustion perks changed because they were near unlimited uses in chases by even low skilled survivors.
Ask around about the dark times of dbd. Or check out tydetimes youtube series. Those were much needed changes as they tipped the scales way too far in survivors favor.
-
Legion and clown are the only 2 i can easily differentiate. But legions music is great.
-
I like the scaps of cloth idea
-
I like the idea of making certain perks better on original character. Nothing mind blowing, but like Claudette would get a small snall boost healing others with botany. Like 1 second at most. Meg would get quick and quiet for 4 seconds. Adam could get a 6th stack of autodidact. A little boost but nothing to break the game.
And i would like to see 1 unique survivor per team game modes. Maybe not in base game but as a seperate mode.
-
The anti social thing was a joke. Also, when dedicated servers go up we should be paured with people in our same region more often then not i would think. Mute is always an option. Just saying the times ut would benefit would be out weighed by the times it would hinder.
-
Yeah i mean you dont have to use it but its there for those of us whom are antisocial and bad at making friends.

I hate going against doc. They just spam Carter’s Spark in a chase till you’ve reached T3 Madness. It’s so frustrating and aggravating.
Kinda what his power is. Its his way of stalling the game out. Only thing hes good at after everyone is already mad.
Forcing a survivor to do something other than gens is a huge benefit to killers.
It sucks as Survivor but he's not overpowered in my opinion.
-
Had a game last night. Was chasing a meg and locked her into a corner. Swung at her and hit the bush behind her. It was lag but still frustrating as she was the only one lagging.
-
As for totems. Nerf the hex perks, and get rid of totems. Or leave the totems as an optional bloodpoints objective. Either way, as they are now, they are almost useless perks to run as many times before you can even scput your first generator ypur hex is gone. But if the totems are hid too well then everyone complains. Get rid of them and just lower the power level of the perks themselves.
-
I would like to see keys more rare in chests. Maybe zero chance without perks. As a killer it's such a slap in the face when you have an intense match going and you're down to 1 or 2 gens and all of a sudden game ends cause someone found a key.
-
Moris should be after 2nd hook
No mither should give an extra hook state
Instadowns should be hard to pull off, maybe make billys need an add on to work like huntress
Suurvivors should not tbag at pallets and should get penalized for doing so in a chase like killers get penalized for camping. Blood point wise.
Killers should have the ability to point and with a proper offering give the finger to toxic survivors.
-
The problem is that getting booted out of a game really soon isn't fun, especially when people are pulling you off the hook right in front of the killer. Yeah you can just go to another game, but the point is your teammates are supposed to help, not hinder, you.
If the survivors unhook in front of you hit the unhooked if they have bt then they waste time mending, if not, slug em then go for the unhook.
Can't get mad at you for their own teammates incompetence
-
Fun. That ties into my next question. How do you have fun? Fun i would say is tied to winning and i think the biggest problem between survivors and killers is that both sides can't win together so for the most part, they can't both be having fun.
I've heard that the killer determines whether the survivors have a good time. Even heard people say it's one of the killers jobs to make sure that survivors have fun. But im pretty sure the only way to ensure that survivors are happy is for the killer to not win or have fun.
As a killer, still relatively new and pretty much a yellow ranked killer, although i could be green if i could not go up against red and purple ranked players more often than not, i find the survivors dictate my enjoyment level a pretty good bit.
Especially when im chasing someone and they vault a window and tbag. Or drop a pallet and tbag. Or spin in circles as i break a pallet before running. Amd basically point and emote in hopes of making me chase them so everyone else has an easy game. Im sure that survivor is having fun. Im not. I don't tunnel purposely, i go after the unhooker, and i dont camp unless its the end and ive gotten my ass kicked and im frustrated. But still im inundated with stupid messages calling me names or to 'git gud 2 ez' when im 7 ranks lower.
Just wondering is it even possible outside of kill your friends for both sides to have fun?
-
Im not going to say my numbers were on point lol. For ruin you could make it the opposite. Have the power slowly taper off as the game goes.
I just think as a killer having your totem destroyed before you get even a small benefit from it is so frustrating really to the point where id rather nerf all of them then run around with a perk missing the whole game.
The way devour hope is now, you can definitely mori soneone who hadnt been hooked yet. Unless you make it where you have to hook everybody for the mori to activate then they are both the same. It just takes longer to get to in my version.
-
Thats why i added the extra bloodpoint objective. I've never noticed hex perks to slow the game down except for ruin and 90% of the time it's dead in first minute.
I think game needs slowed down a bit but hex's don't do that. I think gen speeds need to slow down based on number left. Like 5 gens takes a full 2 minutes then 4 would be 110 seconds 3 100 seconds 2 90 and 1 left regular 80.
-
He does slow down too much when charging
-
How often do you run into moris? Especially momento? I hardly ever run into them. Green sometimes, but hardly ever a pink one.
As a killer i dont use them except for bloodpoint objectives or if ive had like 5 games in a row of no kills and tea bagging and i want to get out some frustration lol.
I do think they should be changed to only be allowed on final hook with yellow being base ability no matter what hook.
-
My thoughts on stealth. If you are braking a pallet, you really arent being stealthy. So alert shouldn't be affected. I play killer more and that's how i feel. Wraith becomes somewhat visable when he breaks things. Again, kinda not stealthy.
As for ghostface, i completely agree that survivors on hook should be able to break him out of stealth. Kinda like kindred, hooked person is screaming that the killers right there.
I do think stealth killers should be immune to most aura reads, but if stealth killers does something like breaking a pallet, kicking a generator then the noise itself should alert survivors to general location. Maybe just the heartbeat thing like legions FF? That would be a good compromise i think.

Killer - Jack Frost
Perk - Kiss My Snowballs - When a survivor performs a fast action within 8 meters, the ground freezes and the survivor slides in the direction they were traveling in for 1 second. They can not change direction or speed. Has a 30/20/10 second cool down
Map - Snowmonton - A haddenfieldesque map covered in snow. With a handful of houses and a central church building.
Story - Jack Frost was a convicted serial killer being transported to his execution. His transport got into an accident with a truck carrying mutated genetic material. Jack Frost fell into a pool of the spilled material causing his melting body to fuse with the snow on the ground. It turned him into a killer snowman hell bent on revenge. He was killed by being pushed into a tank of antifreeze. Then the remants were bottled up and buried. The next year when a government scientist dug up the grave for experimentation, the bottles were gone. (Never saw the sequel so we end it at the end of the first lol)
He won't make it for a multitude of reasons including but not limited to, he's a killer snowman, his one liners are absolutely horrible, and no one knows who the heck he is.
It's actually one of my favorite movies. Not the one starring Michael Keaton
-
Some of these aren't meant to have killers or keep the feel of the game. Just different ways to play with friends.
1) Killer mains need not apply lol. Originally I imagined this as a normal game just with survivors back stabbing each other. But then many games dont make it to end game so changed it to this. Originally, just the obsession died when last gen popped.
2) Stillness crows prevent locker hiding. Make it harder to get rid of them too.
3) No killer. Survivors spawn next to their generator. Yes they can sabotage each others generators.
4) 10 minutes may be too long. Would need to test. Maybe Survivors could see generator aura. Firecrackers could spawn just to disorient the killer.
I would think maybe there would have to be special maps for some of these.
-
I like the concept a lot, but i do have an issue. The way it's set up, by ping ponging hits on survivors, I'm not sure it would encourage spreading out. The most effective way would be to stick somewhat close to each other so one could push the survivor towards a loop after getting a hit while the other is there to cut off the loop and down the survivor. Can people be hit during dream transition?
-
I'd actually like to see a random fun mode where every 30 seconds everyone's perks rotate out to new ones. Start with nurses, bbq, spirit and ruin, and end with distressing, monstrous shrine, bamboozle and bitter murder.
Survivor thinking they have dead hard, go to use it but it was replaced with no mither or something.
Instead of doing gens, maybe just make it a regular game of hide and seek. Try to last for a certain time limit. With stillness crows speed tripled for hiding in lockers
-
What if when the archives come in, one of the ways to fill in the more would be finding survivor 'memories' scattered around the map. Maybe 2 or 3 'pages' hidden that survivor have to collect before the gates are powered to fill in the lore. With decent rewards for completed memories it would give something else to do. Not mandatory. But something to change up gameplay a little. You will still have to do generators but there would be incentive to play hide and seek?
-
I just want my kill any to last more than 5 seconds
-
Yes protection at first, then if they cleanse lets say ruin. If theres a dull totem on map, then ruin would go to it. But only once per trial
