Nothing to do with DS.
This bug has been posted about upwards of 7+ times; take a look around if you want to, lol.
It has to do with a survivor wiggling free (or, I think, at least getting upwards of 95% of the bar), and then the Killer immediately picks up another Survivor (without performing any other actions).

Yes, it happens when a Survivor wiggles free of the Killer's grasp (or nearly does) and then the Killer immediately picks up another Survivor (without performing any other actions).

Did somebody wiggle off the Killer's shoulder (or nearly wiggle off) right before the Killer picked you up?

It'll still mark you as Exposed if somebody else is picked up and carried near you (within Terror Radius), so long as the cooldown is up.

(It's not DS, it's not Breakout, it's not Iron Maiden... it seems to simply be breaking when a Survivor wiggles free (or nearly does) and then the Killer immediately picks up another. The first skill check doesn't work and the Survivor gets free instantly.)

True empathy is hooking yourself when your teammates are hooked. xD
In reality, I think this kind of glitch has happened before, but I'm never sure what triggers it. It doesn't seem like any perks should be triggering this? Maybe its the map/killer, but probably not.... Seriously, what could cause this?? it's bizarre.

Empathy alone doesn't crash the game, and neither does Empathetic Connection on it's own. (I also ran Empathy+Aftercare for a bit, no issues there either..) Maybe it is the perk combo, which would suck! I like em together.. ;-;

In all seriousness, this sucks. I can only assume it happens regardless of Killer/Survivor played? next thing you know, The Game map gets disabled for a day or two while they fix it..

Is there a bug here?? You see gens because you're the Killer, and the hooks because you're carrying someone?
What exactly are you reporting?

- Are there other Survivors working with you that let go?
- Is the Killer using something like Eruption or Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance; something that would force you to let go of the gen?
Not answers per say, it may be legit bugged, but I'm just trying to cross out some options..

I think these are all the same thing. Nothing to do with Iron Maiden, I think it's just the fact that a Survivor is wiggling out/getting free. The bug's been going around; a ton of people are seeing/reporting it, unfortunately.

I saw this clip, saw the charm get added, and when I checked my Survivor(s), it was there. It's a green charm, if that helps.

It could be hacked. I'm just saying you probably just found somebody who brought in a good flashlight (and someone who knew what they were doing). They blind the moment it starts to fade, resulting in another (and an instant) Blind.
Also, and this is coming from a Survivor main who A, can't use flashlights to save her life (or anyone else's, for that matter), and B, has played Killer and suffered both people like this and breakdowns over it. It sucks, but that's just what it is. Sorry... :(

If they blind you, and then blind you again (faster) before the Blindness on your screen dissipates, then it's just chain-blinding. Not a bug or hack.

Eh. With different outfits/characters, charms will show up different places. Sometimes it's on their hip (where intended), sometimes the leg, sometimes even the crotch. I think it's mostly dependent on whatever you're wearing, and if it clips in that spot.
Or this could be a legit bug/unintended. Idk anymore. /shrug

Bunch of perks have been wigging out since the update. Particularly Wake Up! and Object of Obsession. Those two apparently were causing crashes for a bit before people realized what was happening. Other perks may be bugged, too, but these two are the only two I've seen killswitched ... so far.

Saw a prediction video that went over this, can't recall who by. Best guess is, if you're getting a licensed chapter for the Anni, and it's one of this group, it's probably going to be either It or FNaF.
Personally, I don't care much either way, though I will say FNaF would be more familiar to me (if the character(s) came from the first few games, at least... I got lost after that.)

Leon got free (wasn't DS; he hadn't been hooked, and wasn't even running it), Killer and I thought he was hacking. Nobody else had used DS beforehand, so I'm not sure what caused it..
Not sure if hack or bug in this case, but it looked like what you were describing, so I thought I'd add..

I had this happen once, and I caught it on stream. Killer and I both thought Leon was hacking...

invisible head bug seems to happen with all killer set skins, (with the exception of the twins, trickster, huntress, blight and the doctor) and all killers are able to wear different cosmetics as mentioned in this post
Oh wow! that is indeed broken.... I'm mostly wondering not only what causes this, but why those characters in particular??

Also can confirm. Every time he uses the tentacle (whether or not it hits) it plays a heavy 'thud' SFX for all players. Dunno why.

he had like 4 dlcs if I can recall correctly, but after logging into his account today to check this issue, I saw that he has full access to all characters (I have all the dlcs on my own account).

Might be it. My brother and I play on PC, Steam, and our accounts are linked to allow library sharing when possible. Maybe that's the cause? Maybe sometimes I'm just not noticing it otherwise.

Mikaela is unlocked for him, and he hasn't purchased her! I did, and I have her, but for some reason he has her unlocked too. :/

I've had this happen, plenty of times. No answer, no explanation. DC penalty every time. Killer and Survivor. No, my internet isn't the problem, either. :/
(Here's an odd one: I had a game against a Blight earlier today, and shortly after he first found me, the game ended, like he had DC'd. But, he was typing in the endgame chat! and he said, "I didn't DC, I don't know what happened. My game just died!")

Yes, I'd love to be called 'gay' (or 'bi', in this case, but either way) in a good way.
However.
Even in this day and age, people (namely homophobes) still use 'gay' as a slur or insult, whether it is received that way by the other person (whether or not they are in fact LGBT) is different. The homophobe is still using it in an attempt to harm you emotionally/mentally/etc. That much cannot be denied. Yes, I would love for everybody that was talked down on that way to be able to go, "yeah, I'm LGBT, and?" but it's not the case. :(
Side note: I've never heard 'gay = annoying' in any way or at any time. Obviously, however many years ago, it was simply a way to say 'ecstatic' or 'overly joyous'. Never have I heard 'annoying'...

I'm just another voice in the mob, but yes.
Tunneling/camping/slugging/etc. are all considered 'ok' (in a sense that you can't get banned for it; the debate over 'toxic or not' is something else entirely), but targeting somebody for their character (or their own) skin color/ethnicity or gender/sexual orientation (among several other things) is not ok, and is worth a report and/or ban.
I'm just surprised they were stupid enough to flat-out admit it. :/

Tested it in a Custom game (I was Leon, my brother played Killer; Nemesis) and the pallet flickered. (Also glitched into the ground a bit, though that may be the map specifically. Hawkins.)
