Not proud of the teabag I hardly ever teabag killers because I know how it feels when you might just be trying to play for fun and enjoy yourself but with how hard she tried to tunnel me just because I went for it. The other people were on death hooks and she had two others she could've chased and caught. But my thing is how you gonna get mad I did something you didn't like in response to you doing something I didn't like?? You don't want me to cleanse your hex then don't bring one?? Its part of the game for me to cleanse it because it gives my team and I a disadvantage so why wouldn't I cleanse it??

So i read this whole discussion and what you want to say is that the huntress tunneled you because you were ok her totem but also managed to get multiple if not all other survivor to death hook (still an amazing feat, to tunnel someone and still manage to spread hooks to the other survivor /s 🤦).

Then she tried to secure you, either at one gen or with open gates (can't really define that from all these comments and the og post and wouldn't even call that tunneling at that point. Again, even less with multiple people at death hook). Which would be the smartest play given that everyone else was just dead on hook but you would have been a potential point of additional pressure depending on the amount of altruism of the other survivor. But arguably executed poorly. (Not that but is always predictable or all killer would always play like it is there).

In the end the huntress was quite toxic ok endgame Chat but I personally would argue that her in trial playstyle didn't show much toxicity or pettiness while the teabagging at the gate wasn't really called for and worsened her behaviour given the already 0k trial.

I would even go so far as to call her playstyle "fair" if she didn't tunnel during the trial indicated by multiple people being on death hook and not tunneled Out of the game (the only definition of tunneling for me).

Also the fact, given the information, that she didn't hard camp you at 1gen/open gates. A behaviour you yourself support given the comments mentioning your comments from other discussions.

You need to let it run for more than a couple of days. It needs to average out. Until then you will have good games and bad games. Eventually, you should start seeing more consistent games. The top tier is where any major issues between survivors and killers will really show, and the differences between the different killers. Hopefully that will give the devs better data to work with, for balancing the game. Let it do its work.

I just love it, not the newsystem since I didn't play the last few weeks so i have no experience with it and can't say anything but all these people flaming their hearts out after 2/3 DAYS since this system was turned on.

And that despite knowing that behaviour needs several WEEKS to react or even patch/balance everything.

This generation of "gamers" really has no patience anymore.

  • @MadLordJack said:

We just transitioned from a different form of SBMM, the Rank system (spoiler - it sucked and didn't do it's job). DbD has never had random matchmaking, no game has truly random matchmaking, you've just been steamrolling your opponents without realising it and are now where you should be because it wasn't fair on your opponents.

If you don't want to deal with it, chill the ######### out and let them win. It's a casual, RNG based game, it doesn't matter if you win or lose.

Well the previous rank based mmr was kinda random given the fact that, at a certain threshold of queue times, it broadened the parameter until it could as well be completely random.

Not to say that the new system doesn't has this "feature".

  • @TGB said:

    I never got carried.

Well - lol, we've all been carried, but you know what I mean.

I performed the best on my solo teams (point-wise and logically) probably at least 80% of the time. Probably over 90%, to be honest.

Those games felt good. Even if my teammates felt worse than me, they still at least got things done, knew what was going on, knew how to handle things, etc. Most of the time, anyway, of course.

I did not get carried. That's just the reality.

However, I was a much fresher player than most playing DBD. Among all these 3k+ hour gamers, I'm at like 450. Three digits. So I have not had the same 5 years of MMR data gathering.

And so, while everyone else has had all these years of building MMR while the system placed similar RANKED people against them, I'm still pretty much Baby Status as far as the MMR system goes. I have minimal MMR "farming" during the RANKED matchmaking.

    And so... Here we are.

The game basically wants me to play another 5 years to catch up to the average player data -- if we pretended everyone else paused for the next 5 years, btw.

Sure, I could go play Killer and probably get my MMR normalized relatively quickly. But I'm talking about Solo Survivor.

Where 3 actual newbies can feed and ragequit, and you're left wondering how to 1v1 a Killer and get out with a positive MMR gain. (You can't.)

But you know what, whatever. I've overexplained this. People either get it or they don't by now.

And so, while everyone else has had all these years of building MMR while the system placed similar RANKED people against them, I'm still pretty much Baby Status as far as the MMR system goes. I have minimal MMR "farming" during the RANKED matchmaking.

    Just to address this point.

According to behaviour did they swipe mmr data prior to the last short term test in June so there is (or rather should be) no amassed data headstart for the other players.

Which in itself is also probably a reason for some mixed experience right now on the FIRST/SECOND DAY of sbmmr. Any mmr system needs time to acclimate itself.

  • These are simply a sign of how much and how successful you play over the course of each month and award a BP reward depending on the grade bracket.

Matchmaking will be separated and done via a hidden elo value called the sbmmr. (Skill based matchmaking ranking)

And also, you know, having more of a ######### incentive to having a high MMR instead of just the fake rank emblems

Then what was the incentive until now to be rank 1. Even more so staying there every month? Prestige? "Fame"?

Oh yeah that great myth where matchmaking accounts for x, x and x.

Meanwhile got matched with a Rank 20 plague against purple survivors. Matchmaking has been bonkers for years they should just stop pretending already that they're doing something.

Fun fact, aquiring data in the background for a potential sbmmr and a ######### rank based matchmaking being on, that even has gotten changed to speed up matching thanks to highly imbalanced queues at the cost of correct matching, have nothing to do with each other

  • @RangerDanger said:

A better argument would be: Why cant we change killers during the 60sec in game lobby? It annoys me sometimes when I see a team come in and im like, oh no, I want to play this killer because they have perks for countering these items. However, completely countering items is not the sole objective of DbD, if it was, no one would ever bring in items or open chests. Knowing what items are in the game can help the Killer manage in game objectives.

Imagine not knowing there were 4 toolboxes brought in... You would play completely differently, maybe chasing a survivor a little longer only to have 4 gens pop in 3 min. At least knowing the items brought in can give you the insight to focus on your own objects and how to apply the best pressure for the game.

I don't know if you already know but they killer not being able to be changed during pre-lobby was done in accordance with the new sbmmr to give killer players separate mmr for each and every killer to accomodate to being experienced with the respective character and it's powers.

  • Well I guess they won't change the ranking requirements or system in any way. And people already stayed at red ranks for months to years without a problem. So it won't be anything grand but at the same time completely free.

League of Legends and other titles with half year long ranked seasons don't have anything meaningfull given except maybe one skin (given that they have way more than 22 characters per side).

Getting free in-game currency each month doesn't sound so Bad. Lacking something, yes, but not bad nonetheless.

    Yeah I know I am old-school.

But fun fact, I never did that myself and don't need something like that.

So thank you but no thank you.

    And btw:

Plenty of people play with crosshairs via software or their monitors so no, not at all

This was even posted before my comment and I tend to read a whole thread before commenting something that was already mentioned probably several times. And I also knew the "modern methods" and commented just an alternative.

So pls don't take me for an idiot.

  • Diy tip. Simply tape a piece of confetti in the middle of your screen and boom you have a makeshift crosshair.

Mandatory advice though, i have no idea how modern screens fare with adhesives from tape and so on. I just remember doing this in the times of old bulky monitors with glas front.

  • I love it. The great mystery of "destroying a killer" with leeway to ease up but no time to search for bones or exit immediately.

And then the mysterious 4k when the killer didn't manage much DURING the gen phase while getting "destroyed".

    🤔

  • Well it should only be 5 minutes, right? Seems worth it instead of staying in there with obvious hackers. (Not that I want to encourage DCing.)

Btw record them for making a report.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2465517#Comment_2465517

Doesn't has to be a rank 1. You can see that on all ranks now.

The new hit validation just adds up to all the frustrating things killers have to deal with.

I also got something new a few weeks back.

A survivor enters a locker in my line of sight, i start the pulling out animation at the same time as they try to exit it. But unlike normally when the grab goes through, they run away, not damage, downed or anything and I was stuck in the finishing animation and had to wait for it.

So now it seems that ANY kind of grab is screwed somehow not only hooks or windows but all of them.

  • @Objectively_speaking said:

Demo main here, switch your thinking on what you consider a win and just start with some simple goals.

Some simple goals could be |

    down or hook 1 survivor

    Get all four unique hooks

Interrupt one gen while it is being worked on

Complete a chase in 1 minute

Get 1 grab out a locker or off a gen

    Outplay a survivor

    | The aforementioned goals I just listed above really help me to have lots of fun even if all survivors escaped at least I did x or y or z. But most importantly play for fun if it gets really bad and your not having fun take a break and come back better and remember this...

even if you did everything right, sometimes you will still lose.

Wow, first of all friendly killer only player with 250 hours playing since release.

My goal are my 4 bbq stacks and up to hooks.

But damn that lists seems horribly sad if we have to make such goals to have fun.

  • Maybe the people in charge noticed a increace in sales and made the decision to make use of the "panic" from the limit availability.

People know that content is going to get taken out, maybe forever, and panic buy.

The sale was being nice of them and now the shareholder made the decision that the closer the 17. Nov comes the higher the willingness of people buying at full price gets.

Of course this all can be taken as paranoid tin-foil-hat talk but i would ironically be amused if they even raised the price in October.

Edit: Or maybe I misunderstood something and the cosmetics sale was shorter limited from the get go. I don't know.

  • @ThanksForDaily said:

Killers mostly DCing at the end game when the doors are open. I don't know why they do that. Just wait 10-20 seconds.

That's what I ask myself everytime a survivor DC on pickup or right when going on their even THIRD hook.

Also most often it is not 10-20 seconds but the full 2 minutes. Btw no matter how many are left. I can let all go playing nice, kill 2 or even 3 and they still wait for any possible reason the whole time.

    @Aven_Fallen said:

So instead of waiting at max 2 minutes to get full points etc., DCing to get a 5 minute penalty (and nothing out of the match) is understandable?

    Ok!

From the point of view from slugged survivor that dc? Yeah probably.

  • @Reinami said:

Scott Jund released a video a while ago talking about which side is more toxic. And here is the definitive proof that survivors are more toxic.

When you encounter a hacker, how often is it a killer vs it a survivor? In my 1.8k hours of playing, i have encountered a killer hacker, exactly once. Survivor hackers? Probably dozens times at this point. I encounter about 1 every couple of weeks.

    Checkmake.

Okay I am commenting after the edit making the goal of the post clear.

For your information, the written word without any form of body language or intonation is a really bad way to convey sarcasm or irony without any visual aid ( "/s" for example).

And second, as a rather frequent member of the forum you should maybe know better that there are enough people on here that post stuff of this level of crazy bias nearly on a daily basis while also meaning it.

Lastly not nearly everybody knows you from other posts to get that this is so different that it has to be meant in a different way.

Completely agree with everything. My main focus is BP as well (for now) so I tend to allow escapes sometimes because I didn't tryhard their asses and in return....Well you know how they are. BP is most important but if I can I will kill them all at 5 gens if possible just like if I play bad they will end the game in minutes.

Yeah playing nice against genuine bad survivor is also a pain since they take already forever and even longer at the slightest amount of pressure when I try to not completely go afk and still provide some kind of tension for them and then even that is too much.

  • @chargernick85 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2457197#Comment_2457197

lots of time is wasted trying to do head-on plays (unless have Q&Q/Deception). If survivors give the killer extra time they die just like a 3 flashlight game I played last night. I love those games they basically give you the win....Helped I was using Clown that game (He has made his way into my top 5) with Lethal, STBL, POP, Ruin. The pressure was on from the start for them.

Yeah I know it's more of a meme build (funny enough that one of the other two also had head-on when I almost always have iron maiden in my builds just for the speed up). Which wouldn't be a problem since I don't aim to kill anyway.

But after getting hit several times even despite respecting it due to great hitboxes and then even the forced DS/head-on doublestun, i had enough of this obnoxious strategy which only worked because I played nice without camping/tunneling or slugging up to this point.

Being nice as killer seldomly gets you anything but getting curbstomped by remotely skilled players and only few times gratitude from the genuine new survivor. (Btw I got reset down to 17 in may due to the reset bug and managed to stay there for "sometimes" relaxed" killer dailies or adepts).

  • @chargernick85 said:

Head on me and you are going to die. Weirdest part I love that perk and respect when it's pulled off and I love pulling it off myself. Will still kill whomever hits me with Head-on though.

Survivor - take this head-on mean killer.

Me - OHHHH your gonna die #########.

    Love the perk though lol.

Funny I had this experience a few days ago for the first time in a long time.

    20210825_220500_HDR~2.jpg

Two double swf (respectively the two dead and the two escapees). I normally play soft for the 4 stacks bbq, 8hooks and no kills plus this time the 4 hit daily on wraith.

Map was one of the yamaokas, the one with the mansion without the hill (if that helps). Two locker at that little shrine and it was relatively close to shack. The two dead ones both lead every chase back to the shrine and after the first head on from both i knew what was going on and shifted to the other 2 for stacks.

I still wanted max BP with 8 hooks but those two would ALWAYS go back to the shrine and slowly but surely i get one Hook after another. But then they even forced DS with the locker grab and that was it for me. I downed one and pulled the other successfully out of the locker and both go on their death hook.

After that I go "afk" while visible while in the shrine and look at the painting there so the other two can finish the last gen (i had 9 hooks by that time and didn't want to accidentally kill on of the other 2).

Result: i dropped mercy halfway through the game and killed those head-on clowns even without real tunneling or camping and successfully let the other two escape.

I even got compliments from the escapees which also found the head-on players annoying.

  • @CaulDrohn said:

For gen kick challenges like that, I usually run Wraith with Shadow Dance addons ^^. Maybe even Brutal Strength and Fire Up to speed it up even more.

When not memeing like that, if you use some or all of the gen regression kicking perks (Pop, Oppression, Eruption, Overcharge), you should get the challenge done in one or two games as well.

Uhhhh, thx for the build inspiration.

While i am normally too lazy and don't play this game enough, i always look for another meme build that makes animation hilariously fast, like vault master Myers or instant reload huntress. xD

  • If there were multiple people, one or two might not even move far away from the gen and while the killer chases the openly running one they to back to the gen and tap it or resume working on it.

So i would say kicking a gen with any killer without pop is always a waste of time.

This brings us also back to the discussion of gen kick vs gen tap on terms of power and balance. But that topic has already been discussed multiple times on these forums.

Or you do it, like me, simply for the 100 brutality points. Even if this is mathematicaly still a dumb decision vs straight going for another chase point wise.

  • Well thanks, i guess. Not much to say about your comment without any form of intonation like with spoken words.

Not sure if you are sarcastic or are of the same mind.

And if it is meant sarcastically then i have to say, yes I am of the opinion that killer is in multiple points already the less desirable role to play since this fantasy of playing a big, strong and scary killer from the movies is long gone with the aging of the game. Together with my previous mentioned points there is not much left and when the devs would show open favouritism, like the post I commented asks for then i guess that would be the drop that bursts the barrel.

  • My story is not as close as at the edge of the gates but i had a daily to kill with ghostface (i think, not that it really matters for my story).

I don't like to use mori but had rancor unlocked. So i play the round friendly like always with the aim at 8 hooks and additional the rancor kill. 3 survivor play normal but one was a tbagging and flashlight clicking attention ######### from minute one. I give them my usual treatment for this behaviour and ignore them completely but also notice gleefully that they are my obsession XD

At 4 gens done i start to chase the obsession and down them exactly when the last gen pops. Never had a more satisfying mori and let the rest go.

No it isn't running right back to hook to get a target more easily is tunneling. It's a simple concept.

This one and you even commented on it. The op seems to have a skewered view on what camping and tunneling is.

It is not the case when survivor unhook while the killer didn't even manage to make enough distance to get them out of their terror Radius.

Several times yesterday i hade survivor unhook right behind me still in viewing distance. But i didn't go for the unhooked and they didn't force a bit so everything was fine.

  • I had a similar incident. Hatch was at the outside of killer shack and the last survivor hide around the corner of it.

I down them while crossing the hatch, they fall and crawl to it and I start the closing animation but they still managed to escape.

I don't think it was a case of latency with my hardwired connection and a long around 30.

  • @Altarf said:

Well, predominantly-survivor players do make up the majority of the playerbase. I know for a fact on PS4 only 30% of players have ever gotten a 4K, which is very sad to look at. Basic business sense suggests BHVR should favour the side with the most players.

Except that such behaviour would put off the already numerically smaller side and dry it up until only one side remains, unless player from the majority side switch and realize how unpreferred that other side feels and ultimately also might stop playing that side and the game completely dies.

Killer is already the more attention demanding role with more micromanaging and attention juggling. The only advantage is not being dependent on team performance but also has no option to play with friends and/or use comms to improve gameplay.

The act of oppening the gates is irrelevant for the killer. He can't stop 2 gates and hatch when it's not a 1v1 and he finds hatch first. The time it takes to find 1 survivor on 1 of the gates, down them and hook them means the other 1 can open the other gate or get the hatch. What good would NOED do if the gates are already open? That's why Survivors should simply just open the gates and leave. Do you know how much killers have to get lucky to use Bloodwarden? Bloodwarden would be busted if there wasn't a hook requirement but the hook requirement makes Bloodwarden so much harder to use plus you have to time it during EGC, Survivors have no reason to not leave. THEY SHOULD LEAVE.

Except they are as stubborn for all to escape as they make every killer out to be for their 4k.

That matching already happens, i have 90 hours on PC ( i've been playing on console since Summer 2018, until i quit because the disastrous RE chapter release) but who do you think i'm matching with on my PC matches?

And smurfing is already a problem in every online pvp games so what does that prove against my point?

Thank the heavens that smurfing isn't more prevalent and that the matchmaking at least does SOMETHING.

Making a casual mode without a atleast partially functioning behind the scenes mmr like for example in league of legends would lead to a Smurf like environment not being the minority but potentially all the lobbies.

  • Still I as the killer feel like i don't get much from it, like in rainbow six siege. As first person game there isn't much to skins except showing off.

Unlike for example league of legends where is see myself.

But i have to admit hypocrisy since I own skins in overwatch and siege ;P

But in siege only legendaries that also give me a MVP end screen animation plus they change my usable equipment visually. And overwatch mostly through free chests. So either it's was free or it gives me more than a simple skin i myself can't see most of the time.

  • Imagine matching 5+ k hours players with noobs.

Ranks is the ONLY form of matching ATM and even that does not work properly.

Now throw even that out of the window and lets see who are the real masochists. xD

Oh well, let the cheaters continue to roam about, I guess. Hopefully, you will not run into them.

Just to your title, even games like Fall guys have hacker so i guess any online game having NO hacker is more unimaginable.

Gotta love being forced to play BHVR's bully simulator . If there isn't anything going to be done to clean up the toxicity in the game, then the DC penalty should be removed, that at least will help the health of the game somewhat.

Good luck with that when online anonymity is the basic root of the problem.

Every online game has to fight toxicity and damn if most have no real chance.

Also when penalty would be removed for good no trial would see completion at some point. That was already the state when they where implemented. In every trial someone would disconnect because the conditions were perfect to their taste.

And without the penalty what would keep the rest of the lobby from disconnecting after getting left at a disadvantage.

I personally see the permanent removal of DC penalties as a nail in the coffin for any online team game.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2452764#Comment_2452764

So maybe you should probably focus on the reasons why killers DC instead of the fact that they DC'ed and should be punished... You don't fix the result of the issue you fix what causes the issue. You don't punish DC's you make it so DC'ing isn't part of the process.

No a Survivor DC'ing doesn't ruin the match, your get less work to do for Escape option and you have someone using less resources. It's harder to do gens yes but you have more chase options. You're trading efficiency for extra survivability.

OFc it's easier for killer in 3v1 but their point is to sacrifice, so over time it should go 3v1, 2v1 and posibly 1v1 and killer getting 4 sacrifices so where is a DC ruinning what the game is supposed to be? No it's not GG, it's only GG cause entitled survivors just quit, that's admitting you're not good enough without numbers advantage when that isn't the reality the game is designed to help survivors, the notion that 1 survivors is powerless is completly false, survivor is the power role cause the game is designed for you to survive, it's why the Hatch exists...

There is a distinct difference between 3vs1 at 5 gens and 3vs1 at 3/2 gens. And getting faster close to hatch is really not an argument for dcing.

The escape chances.for more than one survivor through the gates becomes exponentially higher for the left survivor. Even a first Hook suicide give better odds, the killer has first to complete the chase and then, on case of a camper, wait for up to 2 minutes.

A ragequit makes all of that obsolete and leaves the survivor with more work and less people to either make progress or distract the killer.

too bad so sad. HYPOTHETICALLY , if there was no d/c penalty , you could leave too and find another match. but the d/c penalty forces everyone to stay even if someone leaves , LMAO!

And no game would be played to completion ever again.

And btw when there are penalties, everybody left in the trial takes more or less satisfaction from the knowledge that the ragequitter will, if they don't change they attitude, either definitely not play in their next trial or even not play this game ever again.

A killer DC'ing ruins the match completely for the 4 other players that have queued and want to play that match.

A survivor DC'ing has ruined the match for the 3 other survivors, it's making their position much harder to play the game, to escape the match which is their goal. The game is designed around 4 survivors and 5 gens, if someone DC's at 5 gens for example that makes it so much harder for the remaining survivors, I know as a killer when that happens it's pretty much GG because it makes the match so much easier.

OFC 3v1 is better for the killer than 4v1...That's the already base state of the game so the DC doesn't matter. DC is an early Kill.

Also it kills the fun for both sides. Except for killer player that like getting a trial handed to them on a silver platter.

it's selfish but its not wrong . people should look after themselves first.

Selfish doesn't have a place in team based multiplayer online games. Neither DBD nor rocket league, league of legends, rainbow six siege, overwatch, counterstrike, and so on. Just to name a few of the games i played that have a penalty.

Only games with huge team sizes like battlefield with 16:16 or 32:32, were a DC has less impact or with team refill/reconnect feature don't have a leaver penalty to my knowledge.

and we all don't owe eachother anything . i don't get why you guys think people owe others something in a video game . we all got the game for ourselves not to care about whoever else is playing it .

And the vast majority of the community, dbd's "society", agree that ragequitting is selfish and ruins a trial for everyone else, therefore is frowned upon and gets penalized.

Just like for example urinating in public in the real world.

  • You agreed to the "terms and services" and while yes, most of us didn't read it, it is still there, valid and has our everyones signature.

So we all have to obey the general rules of this "DBD society" just like in real life. And just like there is police and other forms of law enforcement, do has DBD it's ways.

who said anything about removing it for the 3rd time ? the bots are out in full force .

and hypothetically , if there was no penalty , guess what ? sigh you could D/C too! find another match .

2 free DC per player means with in a perfect ratio of survivor and killer UP TO 8 games with a DC for each killer and 2 dc'ed killer for every survivor. That is a lot per day.

Even worse is that the survivor to killer ratio is way over 4:1 and closer to 8:1 at peak hours. This means even more potential DC in every game.

    1. Because i paid for the game , you didn't buy my copy
    2. I bought it for my own self enjoyment , i don't owe anyone or complete strangers online jacksh** , that never did anything for me. didnt pay for my internet , didnt pay for my console, didnt pay for my subscription , but yet i owe somebody online something ?

you're the entitled one for thinking people should sacrifice their own enjoyment of a game for yours . nobody owes you karens anything .

And the devs don't own it to you to support this mentality in online pvp multiplayer games.

The user agreement has paragraphs including the behaviour that the distributor of the software sets as requirement to participate. Otherwise they make use of their right to limit the user in their accessibility to their software, up to a Perma ban.

  • I personally see no purpose in neither prestiging killer nor buying cosmetics for them.

The only cosmetics i have for them is free unlockable stuff and I don't even use that.

Outside of the permanent view of the weapon and during mori and endgame screen there is no value in owning a cosmetic.

Or you like to be "pretty" for the survivor or whatever.

Extremely disagree... I am veteran fair play player and even thought I want to disconnect sometimes. Mostly when I play with my friends SWF and we got tunnel camper trash. If our friend is killed in 4 minutes by unfair behavior, we dont wanna give killer even 1 EXTRA POINT! Game is lost, it doesnt mean anything to us.

Another situation. Killer is slugging, he brings survivor at the edge of dead. So we must wait 2 minutes until he fulfills his silly necessity. Thats why I claim for years: Survivor should have a chance to "give up" match, if is for example under half of dying state and game is definitely lost.

And what about game with cheaters? Number of cheaters I have seen GROWS more than ever before!!!!

And the most important thing: Errors are very common problem, definitely not just 1x per day. Sometimes we must wait 30 minutes because connection/error problems.

I am also a flair killer player that doesn't even aim at kills but BP and 8 hooks to keep the tension for the survivor and play this game on/off since it's launch 5 years ago.

I still got instant DC on first down/hook and even on first sight when people can't stand a certain killer without knowing my playstyle and/or behaviour during penalty free times.

And to your reasoning, the first is simple pettiness and does deserve penalty.

Second is the same for me when I have to wait the first minute in nearly every lobby due to someone either being afk due to their long queue times/still picking loadouts fitting to the rest of the lobby or simply being overly competitive by last second switching. Plus when I don't want to give tbaggers and other nice survivor their satisfaction i have to wait for them to leave for the whole egc.

Third I haven't seen a cheater in all my years and while i know that they are there, i would say their rarity is similar to competitive sweat squads or killer.

And lastly again let me compare personal anecdote with one of my own. I play this game as already mentioned since release and have done so on three different PC (two middle-low class and my current middle to high class). I had overall less than 15 crashes or DC in this whole time and only got a 5 minute penalty maximum. Why, because I recognize that a game does not run after getting kicked from it twice during the same session and simply drop it for the remainder of the day, example league of legends (my staple game) where I also had multiple days where I was the only one not able to reconnect into my client or got kicked in two games in a row and just stopped playing because I knew better than to keep trying and messing up the games for my friends.

And of course you can provide source of those numbers?

Of course are those numbers fiction but please, as if the removal of the penalty during the anniversary and the sudden increase in DC afterwards from only those that crash up to every other game having at least one dubious DC wasnt an indication.

Actually my DC timer is at 47 hours because, I crashed multiple times,so yea that means I,have to wait 2 days just to play the game.

And why did you try again and again while knowing that either your PC/console or internet or software or something else I can't know without background was amiss?

I had enough discussions with people on here about the DC penalty impacting people that try to play online team based games despite knowing that their current situation is subpar to the requirements and that they most probably will not be able to finish most trials without unwanted DC.

  • Ah yes let's free the 10 percent of players hit by 5 minute penalties due to server/internet/other crash inducing problems at the cost of having 30-40% (or more) of the player base abusing the fact that there is no penalty at the slightest inconvenience.

Dying on hook at least gives the killer points and emblem progress while providing a distraction for facecamping killers giving their team at least a little bit of extra time.

I've been BHVR'd a lot of times playing plague, I'm sick of this.

The killers are the most BHVR'd by far:

    • Fake pallet stuns from 1m away (The same for Head On perk).
    • Auto-aim playing against you.
    • Gen/hook/window survivor grabs being robbed.
    • Changing clown bottles and throwing the one you had selected before just before the change.

    .

    .

    .

I miss the old times in which the killer was the host.

Add lockers to that grab list. Two weeks ago I had a survivor enter one in my view any when I pulled them out I saw the animation halfway through and then they were already running several meter in the distance and I still stuck in the animation.

    @burt0r

Yeah thanks for bringing my comment into a completely different thread where you don’t even bring up the context in which that comment was brought up.

If he had an issue with what I said then he could just comment in THAT same thread (which he already did). Instead of creating a whole new thread where you bring up my name when I haven’t even participated in it.

I stand by what I said. That thread was about quick switching in a lobby.

    I said what I said.

Stop trying to give context to someone’s post by bringing up other people’s comments from a different thread.

    @MandyTalk

    Well first:

That is exactly why I first posted the other thread itself so that your comment is NOT completely out of context.

    Second:

Damn you seem quite sensitive. Your comment doesn't even show you in a bad light just that someone did mention this opinion in recent forum history even directly in relation to the op of this thread with the same topic of conversation. Way to go directly tagging a mod XD

I hope you don't patronize people for taking tbagging and flashlight clicks personal.

    And third:

5,5 hours so far and it seems nothing happened with your mod tag. I just checked the forum rules and from what I can see i think my posting of your comment doesn't violate any except maybe a personal take on them from you. (meaning the FEELING of being "attacked" by me by this)

Let's see if I have a warning tomorrow and/or am jailed. Honestly quite curious.
