  • I hate playing against them because it's a low scoring round. If you loop Victor for multiple gens you get 0 points from that chase. I also don't like they are really made to camp/tunnel/slug. I see them atleast once a game session and everytime it's the same. They are one I'll suicide on hook against because I'm not wasting time getting barely any BP because my chase with Victor for a couple gens will give me no points and then I will be slugged/camped for no points - just not worth it.

  • Why does it look like they screwed up Feng's face? It doesn't seem right.

    Also Dwight's outfit is terrible.

  • Paulie Esther and Samination. Does McLean count since he streams? If so him too.

  • I think if giving a survivor a passive it should have a requirement, like for it to activate they need to have their 3 teachables equipped. Survivors would have to choose meta loadout or passive boost, can't have both.

  • Nectar vial, lunar lantern in close second.

  • I can't choose just one.

    Luck because it's useless.

Fog because poor game optimization it causes fps drops on console.

Blueprints because hatch and basement spawns should be a surprise.

Specific category BP offerings because they tend to cost more BP than they're worth.

Shrouds really not necessary unless you've started match facing killer multiple times in a row so you want a guarantee to start away from them.

  • Perks are currently balanced based in 4 perk slots per player, adding 5th perk slot will completely mess up the little balance we have on this game.

  • My bet is on random uncleansable totem that won't get fixed until next chapter at the earliest.

  • Entity isn't done eating my hope. Or Entity knows I was trying to give last person hatch and said nope.

  • Cats that just randomly jump out in front of survivors and killers.

Squirrels running up and down trees.

I would also like ability to pet Maurice (or any animals) as killer/survivor not boop/slash him.

  • Hard to choose 10 but here it goes in no order.

    Almost Famous

    Dazed and Confused

    The Burbs

    In Bruges

    Grosse Pointe Blank

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels

    Cabin in the Woods

    Inglorious Basterds

    The Thing

    Tombstone

  • Maybe it's because I'm on console but Blight is not fun to play against, feels like I'm bullying him most matches I face him. I've also only seen him maybe 30 times since his release so not really a killer that console killers seem to enjoy playing. I haven't bought Blight/Felix because they just don't seem worth it. No map makes it not the best chapter for me, it feels incomplete to me that we only got survivor/killer. There are other chapters I would consider best chapters because I enjoy the killer, survivor and we got a map - Halloween, Chains of Hate, and Darkness Among Us would be top 3 for me.

I have no issue with Ghostface 99’ing me, I just wish his stalk and reveal mechanics worked better for both sides. Half the time revealing him doesn’t work, or you reveal him through a rock. When playing as him, there have been tons of instances where he should be able to stalk but he just can’t.

This. His stalk/reveal is so inconsistent.

  • I do it when a survivor in a chase is going to pop me up in front of the killer and I'm just going to immediately be downed again when there's 2 other survivors that could pop me up safely if the chased survivor would leave the area.

Have also done it when I have a reverse bear trap that's activated, I'll prevent being picked up until I'm close to a box because as long as I'm on the ground the trap is paused.

  • I've noticed every match there's atleast one random that spends the match just ruining it for the others by leading killer to teammates, unsafe unhooking, not helping on gens, etc. Feels like since the issues from the mid-chapter patch it's increased from occasional match to every single match has just terrible teammate. It's made me play less than I was. I used to play tons of solo survivor but because of bad teammates I've been sticking to swf with one other when I play. Because of the amount of just terrible teammates I've told my swf teammate I'll put up with 3 matches of bad teammates, after that I'm moving on to another game - there's so many other games out there that I don't see point in wasting time playing with randoms that just aren't fun to play with.

  • I've noticed this bug prioritizing for self care, crushing Victor, and snapping out of it. Instead of unhooking someone it'll try to do those instead. In cases of just self care I couldn't grab a med kit out of a chest because it kept prioritizing self care. I've also had self care prioritize over working on a totem or opening an exit gate. It's gotten pretty bad.

  • It's like that when my brother, husband, and I occasionally play swf with our 13 year old nephew. He'll be like "the killer ALWAYS tunnels me!" when it's his first chase after we've all kept the killer occupied for couple of hooks worth of chases. Every killer is "I hate this killer, they're so unfair and op!" He runs Bond and will purposely lead killer to others when in a chase but if someone accidentally runs killer by him because he's randomly hanging out by a completed gen he'll say they did it on purpose. Killer is cheating when they find his Blendette hiding in corner. 😂

If you really want to play with him I'd suggest doing some KYF where you all take turns as killer, including him, so he can see what it's like from killers perspective without being demolished by 4SWF but also you guys can coach him through what he's doing wrong as survivor from killers perspective.

  • I've started facing killer/in there terror radius so many times, it started to happen last summer. Pretty sure they now have atleast one survivor start like that to help killers find survivors quickly at start of match.

  • Poor/lack of communication keeps being an issue. They need to re-evaluate their stance on what they do/don't share with the community and get a communications team that communicates important information with the players not just goofing around on Twitter. Sometimes they'll respond to a question on one of the social medias but that requires people to pretty much stalk them for basic information BHVR could've shared in general tweet/post without having to comb through all their comments that don't just show up on a feed.

They aren't even consistent with getting information out. On FB at beginning of March they had announced pushing through a fix for the pip loss issue but didn't share on Twitter where they have twice as many followers because they were too busy sharing a magnum opus teaser pic. There have been multiple times where they post something on one place and then it's hours, if at all, the information is shared in other places. They don't post that often, it shouldn't be that difficult to get post out on the multiple platforms around the same time - especially when several allow you to set up posts to go live at date/time of your choosing.

  • It's just way too grindy for little reward. Nice idea, poorly implemented. Although, I do see quite a few that have bought all the tiers on day one, guess they really want those recolored charms so they are making plenty of money of those players.

  • This is just another case of BHVR being terrible at communication. They set a precedent of 2 weeks after ptb then had announced it would be 3 weeks after ptb. There is already an expectation based on multiple patches prior to this. Knowing they would not be releasing in 3 weeks, and knowing people are obviously assuming so they could've put out statement saying "patch won't be out in 3 weeks, we are trying to make sure it's in best shape possible before it goes live so currently do not have ETA." Instead they are having a fog whisperer say it won't be out and he has people flip out on him for passing on the message and in the comments the only thing BHVR has said is "well we never officially gave a date" excuse. That's like someone lying by omission and then saying "well I didn't lie, I just didn't tell you."

We JUST went through this, the devs need to communicate more so these issues that keep popping up can be avoided. The patch not being ready in 3 weeks should not be some sort of secret. BHVR consistently being terrible at communication is what keeps pissing off the players. BHVR needs to reevaluate their stance on being so secretive about every little thing because it's not helping them. Possibly hire a new communications team, one that does more than just goofy crap on Twitter and actually shares useful information.

  • My brother got it when a killer dropped me to kick a gen for pop before hooking me. I got it from sabo/bodyblock and random wiggled free.

Are you sure you're close enough when the killer drops the survivors?

  • You can set actions (pallet, vault, locker) to different button than interaction (heal, gen, chest, totem). Default they are set to the same button, you have to go into settings manually to change buttons. I'm on ps4 and I have my actions set to circle and interactions as R1.

  • If there's two of us left and I know the other is probably hanging out at the hatch instead of helping out I'll run killer to hatch to down me. Sometimes killer still gives person hatch but most times killer shuts it.

  • I've noticed my survivor injured/breathing have been really off since last update. If I heal myself and immediately start moving I'll keep making crying sounds until I stop for a couple seconds. If I'm making out of breath noises from running and I switch to walking/urban I'll keep making out of breath noises until I stop moving for few seconds. But my regular breathing I don't hear like I used to.

  • On a Q&A they said they know dailies tend to show up more for killers and would be working on something to fix but no ETA.

  • You get a bonus if you unhook a survivor safely, meaning they aren't downed right after because you either used BT or you waited for killer to leave the area. I think alot of survivors don't know this exists.

  • Depends on situation. If 4th person is right there and wasn't one to easily loop me earlier in match I'll go down them. Otherwise I'll just hook the 3rd person. If 4th gets hatch good for them. I'm not a fan of being slugged so I try not to do it to survivors.

  • Your friend is probably playing without you and either rage quitting from matches or his internet is so bad it's cutting out a ton to the point he's at a day worth of penalties. He can send a support ticket down if it was his first match and he was instantly hit with that day long penalty because they'll be able to see it was his first match and was given a large penalty in error.

  • Doctor is easy 4k, anyone can pick him up and win their match. Clown you need to learn to use well before you start getting 4k.

Clown party bottles make him more fun.

  • In decent amount of horror movies the survivor is caught due to mistakes or dumb decisions.

Totally looks like a kid's game, huh.

I don't see ANY similarity to teletubbies in the screenshot above, it just looks like you dislike fnaf and are projecting your bias into a bad argument.

That screen shot does look like something made scary for a kids game. It's like the baby doll head in Toy Story or Gwendy dolls in Small Soldiers.

  • Maps aren't that big and there's only so many spots a totem can spawn that are hidden. If you play enough the spawn points are pretty easy to learn. If you add more spots to hide totems you're also creating more spots for survivors to hide or looop killers.

Also in cases of hex totems there are so many times I see the killer just focused on heading to a spot at start of game, or randomly in middle of game, that has no gens and I know no teammates - if I go and look there's a hex totem they're checking on.

I do find it funny that killers complain that totems are too easy to find but on every nerf NOED post there are survivors complaining that totems are too hard to find.

  • Think reward survivor on hook with points since they're distracting the killer.

  • When I was a kid I was all about Snick on Saturday nights.

    What makes you say that?

    Announcement in ingame news.

  • Mr X. Springtrap just looks like beat up version of the Robby Rabbit cosmetic we already have in the game and those just look way too cartoony compared to the rest of the game.

  • I've had several killers that during the match hits and everything are normal but once they get down to 2 or 1 gen all of a sudden they are getting ridiculous hits. Like they are hitting from outside their terror radius. You'll see/hear them just start swinging none stop until suddenly you're down even though there's no way they should've hit you. It's a hard hack to prove because it can just be brushed off as server or hit box issue but I've seen it happen with multiple killers now and it's always when there's only gen or two left.

  • Gen rushing does hurt survivors. Too quick of a match and they don't get points in the other categories. Run NOED and odds are they didn't do totems so they rush gens only to get killed at end.

That said I do think it'd be interesting to do some changes to gen repair. Like if you are looking at the gen it's normal speed because you are looking at what you're doing, the more you look away though the slower the repair is. So do you watch behind you for killer and slow down progress or do you face gen and risk getting snuck up on.

Another would be a different use for flashlights, have them be used to shine light on gen while another player repairs. If in dark gen progress is a little slower, if lit up by flashlight the progress speeds up because you can see what you're doing. This would take a survivor off gens and keep survivors together to be more efficient which also helps killers find more survivors at once. Would also make survivors choose between blinding killer or helping team progress gens.

  • Not restaurant worker but when I've been driving around with my brother and we pass by roadwork or construction areas that have gens we talk about which gens would suck to do if it was dbd map. 😂

  • Breakout is good where it's at. I got it done my first try by sabotaging a hook and body blocking the killer. If Breakout was buffed it would just cause killers to slug more.

  • I only played a handful of matches last night with an swf teammate. We're both purple rank after reset.

First two matches we didn't play normal, we were trying to do stun killer after reseting a pallet challenge so both died fairly quick but got it done after second match (yay!). Both matches the killer was yellow/brown rank, we had 1 red rank teammate and other was yellow/brown rank - they probably hated us because we were more focused on archive challenge than match itself.

Third match we actually played to escape - I spent the match getting chased by a Leatherface, was hooked once between chases. Everyone escaped and no one else even got injured. Leatherface was yellow or brown rank, and again one teammate was red rank and other was yellow/brown rank.

Next match was a rank 1 Deathslinger, same set up as previous matches for teammate ranks. The yellow/brown died fairly quick and we were only able to get 3 gens done before he killed rest of us.

Overall I'd say it's not working. Each match I was getting two middle rank players, a high rank player, and a low rank player against either a high rank killer or low rank killer. If against high rank killer the low rank teammate is being carried by the team if they don't quickly get sacrificed. If low rank killer the higher rank survivors will just ruin their time because they can easily loop the killer. I know there are low rank players that don't belong in their ranks but the ones I was paired with/against didn't even have a teachable on their character and were all green/yellow perks. When mmr isn't turned on the low ranks I get paired with/against more often have p3 outfits with full load out of purple teachable perks and are able to hold their own against the higher rank players, it was odd I didn't get any of those players as either killer or survivor yesterday.

  • I'd be more likely to consider prestige if I could keep the event items. But losing those on top of all the BP it takes really doesn't make prestige worth it.

  • Same as any other survivor, keys don't bug me. I figure if they're bringing a key they're not confident that they can complete 5 gens so probably not the best player. Most times they'll use it while in a chase screwing over remaining survivor(s).

  • Because Jane and Kate have the largest chest sizes and wear tight tops, even with top quality sports bra big boobs jiggle. Other female survivors have breasts that are a size that can get better bra support to limit jiggle. Plague breasts I figure probably are hardened due to disease so won't be jiggling. Huntress has on many layers that also are baggy so hers could be jiggling but you can't tell as well through the layers. Hag is like part plant so probably bit stiff so no jiggle there. Spirit has hers tightly bound to stop bouncing. Legion girls, boobs are size to get bras that give good support and wear baggy tops. Nurse based on time period probably wearing corset so nothing moving there.

I main Kate and I don't notice the jiggle but I'm also not focusing on her chest when I'm playing.

  • He seems alright but there's nothing about him that seems exciting. The combination of crappy Jared Leto Joker and Kpop doesn't appeal to me. I've heard he's not great to play on controller so yet another killer to put console at disadvantage to pc. Not looking forward to the survivor perks, seem to be ones that will help the players that sandbag their teammates.

  • I think they were nice idea but poorly implemented. I think if they were actual doors - like survivor/killer could open/shut but killer could destroy to remove them from the game - they could be more fun. They are something that's supposed to help the killer but they've saved me as survivor more often. The dead ends they create will only get a survivor the first time, after that they're pretty useless.

  • I'd say atleast once a game session, they're pretty common on ps4 with crossplay off. Killers I rarely see are Blight, Plague, Demo, Wraith and Nurse.
