Because devs are hoping for a Doctor Who chapter.

You can get up to 300 survival points for recovering. Just throwing that out there. 🤣
I am fully onboard for an accelerated bleedout option for slugged survivors. Not instant death (due to hatch shenanigans with SWF and such), but speeding up the process by up to double the rate so that the killer can act appropriately.
Back in November of 2020 when I commented you didn't get any points for recovering, they added that scoring event fairly recently. 😁

THAT one is annoying, the other one with the healing I have never even seen happening
I've had healing one happen handful of times. It's annoying like the old chest tech, just teammate doing something scummy to frustrate a random. They fixed chest tech so hopefully they'll fix this one as well, especially since it can be game changer at basement hooks.
-
I want them to fix this not just because item tech is annoying but so many times I've had an item and gone to unhook someone in basement but they're hooked where someone previously died with an item so instead of unhooking I'm item switching which wastes time and/or gets one/both of us killed. All they have to do is separate "pick up item" from "interactions"
-
I'm hoping we get realm of maps instead of a single map. Since they introduced legendary outfits I think that will be the way we have multiple RE survivors - it won't be another Stranger Things where we get 2 different survivors.
-
In case people didn't see Twitter post

Nope. It was but since console performance isn't getting any better on top of bugs I've just been playing it less and less. Been more focused on single player games. Just played Assassins Creed Origins, loved the Pharaoh's dlc. Now on Odyssey, not as into it as I was Origins but still good. Also started Samurai Jack game, that one looks to be short so trying not to rush through it. I also still have Outer Worlds and Borderlands 3 DLCs I need to finish.
-
Don't hook the survivor next to the exit, count to 12 before you hit them.
-
I have them at the default because it's what I'm used to.
-
When I ran it I would be left on hook when killer was no where near me and be farmed off hook when killer was right there.
-
Nope. I'm happy we don't have one.

I recommend checking out the DBD wiki regarding rank and emblems to see what emblems you need to pip based on your rank as well as breakdown of what goes into each emblem.

If we're playing against Oni I leave them on ground or on hook because otherwise they are just feeding the Oni for the entire match. If not against Oni as long as they weren't sandbagging teammates I play normal. If I can heal them off the ground faster than they'd pop themselves up I'll do it, more points for me.
-
Recent match I had died and was spectating while my swf teammate was still in the match with other two randoms. They had 1 gen left, didn't have a 3 gen but the random two (with no key) were already looking for the hatch instead of helping on gens. They left him to die on second hook (wasn't being camped) because they wanted to just wait for the hatch. They could've definitely finished last gen and all escaped but instead they got killed avoiding gens.
-
Clerks. First time I watched it wasn't really into it. Loved Mallrats and Clerks 2 but just couldn't get into Clerks. Then I worked a retail job, got called a Nazi because customer didn't like store policy and then had new appreciation for the movie. 😂
-
I don't see it enough for it to bother me.

Yep. People think slugging for the 4k is bad? That was just the beginning.
I'm just wondering that if the killer refuses to kill these people, is it considered taking the game hostage? The majority of the people on this forum are the very people who'd do this, so I know they won't agree with me though.
If survivor is able to move around so can complete gens to leave then theyre not taking game hostage. If anything I could see other players start reporting as survivor/killer working together.
-
I have a feeling there will be way more useless teammates hurting the team, more Blendettes hiding in corners and players locker hopping in the basement. I've seen some killers already say they'll ignore a survivor that runs up to them trying to get killed so it's not like them staying in the game is distracting the killer anymore from the other survivors.

I mean you can report as well. It helps if more people do.
Also if they have crows, a screenshot will work since that makes it pretty clear.
I did report, sent down video and screenshots incase the other player didn't know they needed to send down additional player report support ticket. Hopefully what I provided is enough proof for them to do something.
-
I haven't had scumbag ones yet, they more so tend to just make dumb plays. Claudettes, Fengs, and Dwights are still the reigning scumbag players in my games.
-
I had a Trickster body block a random teammate in a corner for the entire match including all of EGC. Felt bad for the random, they only had 400 BP so really hadn't done much in game before getting blocked in corner. Hopefully they reported the killer for griefing them and sent down video from their pov.
-
Perks are currently balanced around having 4 perks, giving either side additional perk slots would throw off what little balance we have.

It's really bothering me too.
You are basicly playing chicken against other survs.
I think the challange should be about going back and saving teammates from hook while exit gates are open.
That would be healthier for the game.
That's actually a way worse challenge than having teammates escape before you.
-
Just don't camp/tunnel. If you really can't resist tunneling someone just count to 12 before you pounce.

Thank you very much. But if you rebind circle to pallets you won’t be able to move your camera when you have to drop a pallet and honestly I could never play the game like that. I suggest you don’t do that unless you play claw.
I've had my buttons set this way for atleast a year if not longer and it hasn't hurt my looping/pallet dropping abilities in the slightest while also working the camera. Dropping a pallet is a quick tap of the button, it doesn't take away from moving my camera where I need it. It's not like working on a gen or healing which can take awhile, dropping a pallet is not even a second worth of time.

The current Freddy isn't the Freddy that was advertised when his DLC first came out, current Freddy is reworked Freddy.
-
Freddy - glad to see his slow down add ons are being changed, hopefully no more matches that go on way too long. He was a super easy 4k, he's the one I'd put on any time the "kill x survivors" challenges popped up because he was quickest/easiest to get that challenge done.
Huntress - wish they put in distance requirement but atleast now limit her to one hatchet.
Demo - not sure how much this really improves him.
Twins - really wish they'd address the camping with Twins. Also wish they'd make it so survivors would receive points for being in chase with Victor.
BT - wicked happy it's not based on terror radius.
Small Game - Happy for totem counter, disappointed it's connected to perk. Guess this rules out totem counter being "future addition" to HUD as a reason for the changes we had.
HUD - Still needs improvements after this.
Farm maps - look pretty but also looks like yet another map that nerfs Trappers power.

Maybe it will be so bright it will blend I with the dirt
Maybe glare from sun off traps will blind survivors that get near it.
-
Trapper's traps will be much easier to see on that map.

Well I am gonna see the map when it's released right now it is artwork and it looks good but I am not sure how it is gonna affect some killers and survivors. We shall see that when they released it.
Doesn't look great right now for Trapper. 😔
-
That's one way to fix the "map is too dark" complaints.
-
If HSHS can get a variety of licenses and release a version that plays well on console they could be competition for DBD. The biggest would be licensed killers, that would attract alot to that game. I hope HSHS does well, I hope it brings actual competition to DBD - they need another similar game out there doing well to push them to be better.
-
I love this challenge simply because the randoms are less likely to sandbag the team when they have this challenge on, players actually try to play as team so everyone can escape.
-
Buff Trapper - he's getting nerfed with every map rework. He's face of the game, he should be stronger.
Allow him to carry more traps at once.
Darken his traps since areas to hide his traps have been limited from reworks and they now also stick out making them easy to avoid.
Have traps spawn in more central locations instead of in the middle of no where. Traveling around collecting traps in area that pulls Trapper away from everything is pretty ridiculous.
Already injured survivors that escape trap or disarm a trap with bloody coil should receive deep wound.
-
Poor console performance, bugs, bad random teammates... I mostly play now because my swf teammate wants to play. Used to have fun but now I have limit of 3 bad matches before I am moving on to a different game because I just don't enjoy it enough to stick around hoping to be matched with better randoms.

Then that’s the problem because by default the Pallet/Vault button on PS4 is the same as Interactions. I don’t know if I can change that but I doubt it - and it would be so hard to adjust muscle memory. Will check the settings as soon as I can
my god what is it with all these edits I’m using the forum on my phone and I can’t for my life, I even quoted you twice and don’t know how to undo that
I'm on ps4, you can change the controls in settings. I changed actions to circle after dropping too many pallets when trying to heal someone off the ground. I also changed drop item to square since default it was circle, I didn't want to accidently drop an item instead of vaulting mid-chase. If you change buttons just check if it's already used for something else to make sure it won't screw you over some other way. It sucks for first few matches but you get used to it quicker than you think.

1. Console optimization
2. Bug fixes
3. More bug fixes

I'm guessing they also made grass non existant? Trapper is just getting weaker every time...
This was my first thought. Poor Trapper getting nerfed with every map rework. 😔

I would definitely stop playing. Too much time and money put in.

Me,you,@Pulsar,@JPLongstreet and all the other console players need to continue fighting together so we finally get our stable 60 FPS 💪
As long as I have fps drops I'll keep fighting for optimization.
-
I understand the point behind it, because too many players will be useless hiding in a corner waiting for teammates to finish gens or for hatch to open. They shouldn't be rewarded for hiding. I think if you played stealthy meaning you were useful by safely unhooking, healing teammates, or completing gens you should atleast get a safety pip. If someone is just hiding for a match and only searching chest for key or cleansing totem they found while hiding they should lose a pip if they escape.
As for afk killers, if they can code it for afk killers to not receive any points they should code it so survivors are not punished and give them a safety pip.
-
They've said this a few different times responding to people on Twitter. Hopefully they'll also go back and do a map for Twins and Blight as well.
-
Sluzzy I hope the next Q&A the devs do you put in a question, I know it'll be amazing and deserving of plenty of up votes. 😂
-
I think if you're running BBQ but you stay at hook camping you lose the BP bonus for not going for another survivor. I see more camping killers use BBQ than I do ones that actually use the aura reading to go after a new survivor.
-
Entity strength boost.
-
I'm glad you and OniWantsYourMacaroni keep posting videos of the FPS drops console players experience. I'm on ps4 and everytime one of you shares a video it's like rewatching my own games getting screwed over by fps drops.
-
Any chest I see I search.

Hey Sluzzy, just want to say I really like you dude. And I don't mean it in a 'haha im sarcastic" way. I love reading through the responses of your threads and sometimes meme with them, it's always a goldmine. If you ever were to leave this place it surely would feel emptier.
Keep doing what you're doing Sluzzy, never change and nerf killer and buff survivor.
Same. I love Sluzzy posts, the comments are always amusing. 😂

The invisible walls/catches that snag you during a chase or just hold you hostage. They're on every map, pretty annoying.
-
With Trickster during the PTB PC players that tried him with a controller could see he was going to be difficult for anyone using a controller - which would be everyone on console. They saw this after only the first day or two. That players during PTB saw this issue so quickly tells me either the devs didn't even bother testing him for console/controllers OR they did test him, saw he'd be at disadvatange in play and couldn't care less.
They've received plenty of feedback that they keep making killers that put those that use controllers at a disadvantage but they ignore that feedback and continue to pretend it's not an issue.
