This is a damn joke.
🤦
-
Console is $30, but it comes with a few chapters unlike the $20 pc version, and the remaining DLC are $8 (a couple are cheaper)
-
Honestly, The Huntress was one of my favorite killers to face because it was so easy to avoid her. I'm yet to face one since the change so I dunno how much of a difference it is, but I don't think i'll hate it.
-
I mainly play Spirit but I'd say:
-Faking Phase right after hooking a survivor and getting a grab from a nearby survivor going for the unhook (They ALWAYS get pissed xD)
-Window fakes with Spirit. Pretend to vault but actually phase the direction they were heading.
-Using Night Shroud during chases is amazing for getting survivors to run straight into your face >:D
-
I'd suggest learning her without stridor, then put it on once you're comfortable playing her.
Using it while learning her will make it a bit easier, but you can become used to it and when you don't bring it, you might find yourself frustrated.
I did a similar thing with Predator, I always used it on her when she first came out. When I finally wanted to try new builds, I found myself struggling to keep track of them.
-
People want to be able to switch between the powers, but they don't understand all the reasons why he's getting a rework. It's not just about being weak (or I guess, difficult to master?) but it's also about how much fun people have playing him/playing against him, the latter being a big reason why he's getting a rework. Extremely frustrating killer for new survivors.
-
I feel this perk is really strong with spirit. It's replaced bbq for me, but only when i combo it with Pop.
-
lol
i just get spooked when i play against her.
I'm so glad i get to face a killer that actually scares me in a horror game :)))))))
-
Yay! tysm whoever made this happen!
-
If you're worried about it being unfair for the others still learning the game, play challenge runs. Come up with a few things like always sprint/don't break pallets etc to make the matches more difficult for yourself.
-
I always give the hatch if someone DC'ed, or if it's a Jane ;)
-
Yup. Really rough wait times for killer
-
To survivor mains maybe
-
Yup. As soon as it's available :)
-
Keep note a few maps don't have the killer shack, like Haddonfield and The Game
-
oof

Pretty sure that's a bug because they tried changing it and it also doesn't work if she's not using the default outfit.
Are you saying the bug doesn't happen when she's wearing other cosmetics? I'm not sure that's true
-
While this is a nice idea for people who really can't take change, the fact that people found him weak is not the only reason he's getting a rework.
It's also about the majority of people who find playing against our current Freddy not fun. They've stated multiple times that they are aiming to make killers more fun rather than strong, so I honestly doubt this will ever happen.
-
They kept the lightburn to give him some sort of counter to his power, even if it is unnecessary to counter his power
-
I'd say
Bond, Spine Chill, Iron Will, Urban/Selfcare/Other
Bond and Spine Chill are fantastic for knowing when you need to hide.
-
What if left behind had something to do with reopening the hatch?

People keep repeating this "XYZ doesn't have counterplay". Legion, Nurse, Spirit...
They all have counterplay. Not everyone can pull it off, but the fact that YOU can't do something doesn't mean it's impossible.
As for playing against Spirit being a coin flip... to some extent, sure. About half of any Dbd match is luck based. I can't see the problem here.
-
Killer to me for sure. The amount of stress I get playing killer over survivor is insane. Survivor, even solo is where I go to take a break from killer.

@blue4zion I thought so,isn't frosty eyes her worst head cosmetic? Don't the eyes change from frosty to normal when she starts phasing so its a dead giveaway?
Yeah they'll shut off, then slowly fade back on. I was using it so much when we got it to, and couldn't believe how many survivors weren't falling for fakes. 🤦

@blue4zion I'll take your word for it, I'll hop on my PS4 rn and ask my friend who mains Spirit. The only thing I heard was that her hair goes completely up on end when she phases as well, but I'm not sure if that's true or not.
Yup, the hair is also a tell. It's why I prefer the two heads without her default hair. Frosty eyes also are a dead giveaway.

@MegaWaffle no one reads the term of service.
this is my time to shine. this is my time to vouch for this guy.
But it's there. You choose to not read it, you choose to be surprised by things they addressed.

@se05239 I'm not suggesting a change to her power, her Haunting is fine how it is. I'm referring to a change to how her standing still mindgame is executed. Either it stay the same or be changed so its fairer for survivors, with this killer you can take your hands off your keyboard/controller and get a free hit.
Pay very close attention to the Spirit. You can tell 90% of the time when she actually begins phasing. I dunno how else to explain it other than her animation "resets". Unless this is a bug (It's been here forever so it feels like an intentional thing with her).
Jump into kill your friends, stare at the spirit while she is just standing idly, and have them tell you when they start the phasing activation. Just pay attention to her, you will see it.
-
I'm sorry, try again?

Her Voice is still bugged too! :/
Bro I figured it was a bug but while playing her, the first time I heard her with the wrong voice my head instantly was like "Puberty...?"

I get beyond tilted against sabo strats because I think it's a complete BS mechanic. The only thing that will cause me to insta-D/C in a game is a sabo squad.

I've heard this is completely intentional for the gameplay. I have no further info as to why

The music is one of my favorite parts of dbd, I've got all chase themes on my phone lmao.
The music and terror radius is way too quiet, I'm confused why they didn't address this in the patch.
-
This was something they tried before, didn't work out I guess.
-
One thing that helps me a lot as Spirit, is Phase as soon as they turn walls or when you can get behind objects (don't be obvious that you're hiding) and you know you are out of sight. I see lots of people who phase right out in the open and it has a higher chance of failing. Phasing when you know they can't see you will lower their reaction time for more success.
Don't Use her frosty eyes cosmetic. Unless it's been fixed, they are a dead giveaway that you're phasing and will kill your ability to fake it if they're paying attention.
I'd also like to share that I've replaced my BBQ with Ghost Face's Thrilling Tremors paired with PGTW and it's been fantastic with the high mobility.
-
It's a situational, one time use. As Killer It rarely seems to be an issue for me.
-
Freddy’s lunge isn’t different either
-
Easily loop-able, so he's not that great.
-
I have a friend who thinks killers other than The Shape have different lunges. ALL ARE THE EXACT SAME. (Shape EW 3 is longer, EW 1 is shorter)
I don't get it, but it's possible that the animations are whats making them feel different, as this has been an issue for past things.
-
I almost only play Spirit, and Iron Will is rough on me since the issues with footsteps.
-
dude #########. How many perks are bugged? I use thana regularly on my spirit and I only recently got wake up because I figured I’d finally try it after never using it for the endgame. 🤦♀️
-
In perfect timing for me being like "hey you know what, lemme try wake up for this new endgame..."
welp

90% 😗

What the heck were you doing that this change actually affected the way you loop at shack? The fast vault changes only affected exploits that allowed fast vaults specifically where they were supposed to be impossible. Are survivors so good at finding exploits that they could fast fault the 90 degree turn into the window from outside shack?
-
My volume is all maxed, including main volume and the music is way too quiet.
-
I'm so sad people hate this. I'm really enjoying all the little effects they're adding to stuff.
-
aaaaand bought. Ty for the extra content :>

No, because it would totally deminish the close chases when a survivor is barely escaping the killer in the exit gate.

YES I'm so happy :)
