Personally, I feel SBMM is the right direction the game should go. I don't play DBD in a "competitive" level and just want to get matches where I get to play and enjoy the game and that's exactly what SBMM gave me. I got competent teammates as Survivor and we matched against Killers around the same level of skill who made the matches entertaining, I'd sometimes escape, I'd sometimes die, but overall I got to actually play and do something in the matches rather than be slugged within 30 seconds and spent the whole match admiring the floor tiles or be tunnelled right off the hook. As Killer, I got mildly organised teams of Survivors who matched my level (I'm not super skilled as Killer, but I'm not a potato) and the matches were entertaining -- sometimes, I'd get one or two Kills, others I'd get the four of them. The matches felt dynamic and I can see I hadn't enjoyed Killer as much as I did during SBMM.
Most complaints I'm seeing are from people who want to get the four kills in every match, saying they get nothing but sweat squads and I can't help, but think that's what you should be getting if you play like that...

Well, it was the most heated topic a couple of days ago. You are just late for the chaos and pandemonium.
BHVR hasn't given us a clear answer in the matter so most of the possibilities are merely conjectures, darting from Netflix wanting to do their own videogame based in Stranger Things to the raise of the license because of the arrival of the new series. The only truth is the agreement is over and the characters are becoming Legacy.
The map will be disabled permanently. There is no going to be a repurpose or reskin of it. This is something the moderators have amply explained. Sadly. It was a good and interesting map and I'm sad to see it go.

Very true, Only a fan of the Tombstone set, the warden torso, and the Sea collection gun........everything else does not fit well or make good combo sets. I would even pay 15 bucks for the outfit if Deathslinger ever got this skeleton set.
I may also be one of the minorities that would rather see Caleb with different types of heads and hairstyles rather than just hats (and no, I don't want to talk about the bald head). I feel there is so much that can be done with him... either by time period or just characteristics of his personality and his biography and we keep getting some strange sets that just feel off.
I am hopeful there will be something good when/if we get a tome for him.
-
I'd get this skin for Deathslinger without a second thought. My poor man has had it rough with Cosmetics since release...
-
Two nights ago, I was matched exclusively with people from Ukraine for an hour from some reason. I live in Mexico and my ping was over 250ms while theirs was 50ms the most. It was one of the worst experiences I've had in the game for being hit from like two miles away.
I thought something odd had happened to my network and I went as far to run tests and reset my router...
-
Personally, I don't think wanting to enjoy a game you bought is toxic. The reason the current state of the game is like this is due to people clashing with this mentality of casual vs. competitive and neither side is wrong if they enjoy playing the way like that.
I've seen the argument of people not enjoying games if they don't win and that's fair... I personally just want to actually get to play and not die within 30 seconds because the Killer decided that tunnelling me was the most effective way to win because of the map, perks, killer, etc. or get gen-rushed and hook one or two people for the same reasons.
I'm hopeful this SBMM actually solves this issue that has been affecting the game since the very beginning.
-
Well, I hadn't been playing much Killer lately -- with me not enjoying playing Clown and not having his perks unlocked for that reason I've focused in getting the Survivor rift challenges mostly -- thus far I've gotten mostly people that play in the same tune I do and it's been an enjoyable experience.
I should try a few rounds of Killer tonight to see how it behaves. I was getting exhausted of getting all purple/red rank Survivors when I'm yellow as Killer...
-
I mean, personally, I find playing Killer overwhelmingly stressing at times. That's mostly because I suffer from severe anxiety and playing Killer gives me a sort of "performance anxiety" because I feel other four people will judge me based in what I do during the gameplay, but that's ultimately a me thing. I do try to venture and play Killer every now and then just to break the habit of playing Survivor either for dailies that I find interesting or challenges to complete the rift.
I still do have fun in the game and tend to enjoy it more than find it stressing.
I have also found that if either side is oversweating it -- just to not find it personal and move on, there will be more matches where I get to actually play.
-
I commented in another thread a while ago about a similar experience I recently about this game's perception of "how other players perform". I had never deliberately sandbagged anyone, most often than whatnot is me running the Killer into structures were I can loop them and accidentally finding people working on generators in there, but that's so not intentional from my part.
I was in a match where we ended up in a three-generator situation after the Killer tunnelled a player right off the start. I had zero hooks because the Killer didn't commit to chases with me, they gave up on me after chasing me around loops they couldn't catch onto me and returned to chase someone else instead. The other two were already on dead hook and after one of them died the other one teamed up with the Killer to block me on loops until the Killer got me and then they proceeded to camp me until I died and then the Killer let them escape through the hatch. Their reasoning was that "I didn't do anything the whole match and just hide" and that I was "only waiting for hatch to get a free escape". Mind you, I did three generators by myself and unhooked and healed them in multiple occasions despite the other player escaping through hatch I had more points than them... but of course, I did nothing the whole match.

I think everyone has their own opinions on what counts as a win to them. For me, it's 4 stacks of BBQ and 28k plus BP when playing killer. 20k plus when I'm playing Survivor because normally if I've scored well in a match, I've played fairly well in it. I care more about BP than kills or escapes and I'm not bothered by pips in the slightest, I don't even pay attention to the score screen to see whether I've pipped or not.
I share Mandy's mentality in this game. As Killer, I don't care about getting kills and, as a Survivor, I don't care about escaping. I just want the match to feel interactive which is what gives both Killers and Survivors several bloodpoints. I consider it a win since it's basically both sides getting to actually play and enjoy the game.
-
I'd love a Carlos Oliveira skin. I feel robbed with have Leon and Claire, but not Jill and Carlos.
-
I tried using cakes for the Bloodhunt Event, but match I used a cake or BPS on, match I was tunnelled right off the start and ended the trial with less than 6k of points. Events like this also have a tendency to bring out the worst on both sides of the community...
So, yeah, I'm keeping my cakes, there is no point in using them to reward players like this.

It's more that people were using the "it's just cosmetic" argument to gain an advantage. Custom icons were locally changed in a very similar fashion that people turned certain features that are meant to be harder to notice, very noticable.
Terror radii being changed or Lullaby(huntress, freddy and trickster) being made much easier to determine the distance between you and the killer. Traps being made in very easy to spot colors. Things like that are arguably cosmetic, as you could just like the sound of the custom terror radius more than the standard one, but it does alter the gameplay.
Custom icons were always fine, but it can be that it was affected temporarily due to too many people abusing mods for an advantage. Best thing you can do is report that custom icons are currently not applicable, and they should fix it with the next update.
I mean of course there is a difference between fair cosmetic changes and the mods the developers were trying to patch. If we had to lose both of them for the latter to get fixed, I wouldn't complaint, but only hope in the long run there was a way to get them back.
Like I mean all custom icons do is change the box images which does not affect the gameplay in the least. I only ever use different colours for them or have them thematically placed (like I have icons set with images of Deathslinger since he is my main Killer), but yeah, people re-skinning Trapper's traps to be neon coloured, re-shading stuff to make details brighter, changing core animations amongst others were really nefarious and was absolutely needed for the game's health.
-
It still bothers me to see people mixing elements from Tomie and Spiral like this when they are wildly different series by the same author.
If anything, I feel the scenario should be the highschool featured in the first tome or mansion featured in the third tome of the manga rather than the cursed town from Spiral and the Survivor, if any, could be the detective that survives her in the first tome, the woman that survives her in the third one or the one guy that doesn't get obsessed with her.
I can't remember their names off of the top of my head, sorry.
-
Well, I already had to P3 my main Killers and Survivors, but I unlocked their respective crowns and took advantage of the points I got to unlock all perks on them (granted I don't need most of them, but it felt like less of a chore). Afterwards, I started P3ing some Survivors I like although don't use as much, Steve, Leon, Jill and I'm half-through with Quentin.
As Killer, I've mostly allowed Survivors putting 3+ cakes to make points if they are originals I let them take the crowns and escape if they weren't toxic. For licensed characters, I let them make points and attempted to sacrifice them at the end, but if they escaped it was fine if not then more points for me.
I used the shards to buy a couple of perks from characters I don't have (or refuse to use).

I find myself enjoying playing Deathslinger in Haddonfield ironically. The large fences tend to work on my favour most of the time, but the houses can be a pain. My strategy is to just let them finish the safe generators and snowball them in the streets.
Granted I get DCs instead of points, but oh, well.

I respectfully disagree, and new Franklin's gives way too much value in the way of countering all items just by doing basic attacks as a killer.
Personally, I feel it just needs a slight tweak to the timer. I wouldn't know how to implement a suggestion for it, but in its current state it's really a counter to all items...
I usually bring a medkit in SoloQ with enough charges to heal myself twice since my teammates tend to rarely heal me and I refuse to run Self-Care, but this is basically telling me to run Self-Care and let the Killer demolish my team now.
I don't use items other than that unless I find them in a chest.

Killers have more power to be toxic in-game, but survivors are exponentially more toxic when it comes to behavior.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2363382#Comment_2363382
They can't really be a match in terms of toxicity, there are 4 survivors in every trial, only one killer. If 25% of players are toxic, then survivors will encounter it 1/4 of trials, killers will statistically encounter it every match.
That's the thing. You are thinking that Survivors are only toxic to the Killer. Survivors can be pretty toxic to one another too like in the example I mentioned where I was griefed by a teammate for no reason.
-
Both sides are nearly a match in terms of toxicity. I usually tend to play with friends because more often than whatnot random players I'm paired with tend to grief me and make the game insufferable.
I run the Killer for one or two generators, they do not catch up onto me and drop chase to follow someone else whom they catch onto, I rescue and heal the Survivor in question only for the Killer to drop chase on me later on and chase the previous Survivor again... completely my fault obviously. I had a player argue that to me as the reason why they sandbagged me at the end of a match because "I only hid" even though the Killer did not commit to chases with me because they couldn't catch me. Although I did two generators all by myself and I died on first hook at the end while the Killer gave hatch to the person who sandbagged me (and I made more points than them).
Then, we have that meme that has been circulating about Killer mains who say that people who don't camp or tunnel are newbies that don't know how to play "efficiently". You'll find a lot of people who are just utter negative and horrible in this community... some may be unintentional, but the truth is that all communities will breed this kind of hatred, but I like to believe the good are more than the bad.
-
I only did it by incidentally sandbagging my teammates during the match (and I'm not proud or content with it). I do not disagree it's really difficult nearly impossible to finish it on SoloQ.
My only advice would be to run a few perks that help you do generators faster and work on the middle generator right off the very beginning of the match. Chances are a teammate will end up looping around you close enough to have even the faintest terror radius by the time you finish it and the second one would be probably luck. 99ing a generator then making noise so the Killer comes to you, etc. Then there is the chance of the Killer being Ghost Face, Michael or Pig and it's horrible.
Worst case, scenario you could try to team up with friends to do it and there is a slight chance you may get a farming Killer at some point, but it's very unlikely.
-
I'd say it's between Wraiths and Blights... since the Freddy nerf, most sweaty Freddys turned into sweaty Wraiths as far as I can see. Going against Blight running Tinkerer, Ruin and Undying is by far one of the least fun experiences in the game as far as I can account for even though Blight doesn't need that sweat to easily get a perfect game. Then, Wraiths mostly camp and tunnel and abuse bodyblocking and it's exhausting.
-
I see you are a man or woman of culture too.
-
I think it's just people abusing the absence of DC penalty over whatever reason they can find and not necessarily related to Lightborn in this instance.
I had a Jill DC right next to me because right after we finished a generator I decided to do a totem nearby (I always do them for points and in case of NOED) and she just stared at me and DC on the spot. I also had a Meg DC after I downed her when she failed to do a fake vault in Killer Shack.
-
As someone that played RE2, I feel like I have an incredible advantage since I now it by memory and Killers always lose me across the different levels and vaults. It does feel like a maze, I will agree with people in that sense... because even for me while I was playing RE2 I was genuinely confused.
Anyway, the day the Chapter was released I got it like 4 or 5 times until it was deactivated... I hadn't gotten it ever since. I feel its rate should be raised since they fixed most of the issues already and we are in the middle of the Anniversary event.
-
I mean it feels good, especially after a Survivor match, to be able to go through one or two entire bloodwebs even if you generally did poorly in the match. Like people have been talking about how the grind for bloodpoints is an issue in the game for months as far as I'm concerned. This is exactly why people really look forward events and bloodrushes because it makes the grind feel incredibly less tedious...
-
This is a side to side comparison from new and old models in the PTB.
-
I just care about having a fun match. Escaping is a plus, but not a necessity for me. It's just hard to get fun matches because of the way a good portion of the main Killers play.
-
To be completely honest, as someone that is beyond terrible with a flashlight. Blast Mine and Flashbang are my to-go for blinding challenges now and I couldn't be more content because I deemed those nearly impossible to ever complete (Blast Mine also counting as a stun is great too).
I think most people will use Blast Mine to tell other users about their location which is very useful for SoloQ. If the generator isn't interacted with during the lapse of Blast Mine, you get it back so it's really not wasted.
-
Not really. My general consesus is "Let me get the 4 stacks of BBQ and you are free to farm" -- except for that Leon that clearly saw I was going for a crown in Coldwind Farm and decided to blind me with the Flashbang and took it for himself.
One of the two times I've deliberately decided to tunnel someone in a match and I'm not sorry about it.
-
I am a Deathslinger man, but I never camp or slug. There have been occasions where incidental tunnelling happens -- like when I happen to find the exact same Survivor over and over, but I don't deliberately go out of my way to tunnel.
I don't use STBFL because I still need to M1 to hit the Obsession and sometimes taking the stun to inflict Deep Wounds is a bit detrimental to my matches in some occasions, but I use M&A to attempt to do stealth approaches and, in some cases, do some jump-scares. I don't know he is just a fun Killer to me, but I recognise most of this community uses him in some... unfun ways.
I will be honest and admit that I'm in no way an incredible Deathslinger, I just play casually and enjoy what he offers for gameplay.
-
Personally, I found the "Escape through the Hatch while carrying a Map 1 time" more frustrating because I got a strike of other Survivors sandbagging me over and over and then mocking me in the after game chat for whatever reason. I guess the toxicity was just blossoming at the time and I lost all green maps I had because of it.
I'd say that the Dark Sense Challenge is probably the most frustrating one out of all the Tome challenges we have ever gotten. I mean it's practically impossible to do them in SoloQ because either you get tunnelled, generators pop way too fast or simply everyone decides to run the Killer to you over and over.
-
For me it just means they really like that character. Personally, I have only ever P3d the two main Survivors I play as the the two main Killers I enjoy playing as.
I think the only other connotation is P3 Claudettes that become incredibly harder to find in dark maps.
-
As a Deathslinger main, I've never quite understood why people think he is too powerful or doesn't have any kind of counter when his ability is very dependant on the environment. I think he is a fine Killer as it is and consider him to require more skill than Huntress to be used (because let's be honest, Huntress will always be carried through the game because of the beach-ball hit-boxes rather than requiring any skill), but anyway... I disagree with some comments made in here.
He can be used to apply enough pressure and make enjoyable games, but I do agree with the point that he is not unnecessarily overpowered, but requires some work and patience to learn when to take risky shots and when not to and find ways around loops that can leave for open shots or when to take stuns for the deep wound to apply pressure.
-
Both are problems to my point of view, but are quite different. Being tunnelled as a Survivor ends your gameplay in a few minutes and you don't get to many any points, being gen-rushed as a Killer is very frustrating, but not a game-ending experience and you can still get to make a decent amount of points.
The sad part of this argument is that there is people that will always defend either game-style and one of the reasons I rarely engage in conversations about the matter.

I'm sorry I didn't think much of it at first. I thought it would be cool. I didn't mean to be offensive.
As a Latino myself, I agree with the commentary @MadLordJack and @Dabihwow added in here and I'd be against a concept like this being present on the game due to it. I know and understand you didn't intend any harm, but the glorification and presentation of Latino culture as gangsters or cartel members causes more harm than good.
Still I do share your view that the game could use more Latino characters or at least one more culturally appropriate. Jane and Ace are very Americanised in concept, but I welcome them as different and unique takes on their own -- especially Jane.
-
As a Deathslinger main, I often shot Survivors see the harpoon actually go through them and not hit them and it makes me want to throw my keyboard across the room because sometimes you really need those hits and they are very game tilting...
In the meantime, Huntress hits me as a Survivor from like three feet away and it's so unfair or through walls just because I happen to be behind the corner. I hope in the near future they actually solve that because it's frustrating on both ends.
-
The issue here is that DS is a band-aid solution for an issue in the mechanics of the game. DS by itself doesn't stop or prevent tunnelling, it merely gives you 60 additional seconds of gameplay (aka taking your time to admire the floor tiles) which is why I never use it if the Killer wants to tunnel me, they are objectively bad and only want to make the game as quick and insufferable for me as a Survivor.
A fellow commentor mentioned it that they've gotten to red ranks without tunnelling, I have only gotten to green ranks, but I know a fair amount of players that have managed to reach red ranks without taking advantage of issues with mechanics. The paradox itself here is that we shouldn't need to waste a perk slot to resolve an issue with game design, but until we get an actual solution for this... we will have to deal with tunnelling and some Killers thinking they are good because they tunnelled off of hook.
-
While the brief time that this version of Matchmaking was active, I tried to play as many matches as I could. I will start saying that I'm not a Killer main and I only play occasionally for Rift Challenges or Daily Rituals.
My rank at the time was 15 if I recall correctly and I found the empairment system to be at its most atrocious in a while. I do understand it was intended as the data was collected and processed for the betterment of it. Nonetheless, I was paired with Survivors way above my level that mostly made the game insufferable through the majority of the matches. There were some that provided a same-level of skill that I have, but the vast majority were just as unenjoyable as they could be.
The very few times I played Survivor, I was initially paired with Killers way underneath my level and it slowly seemed to adjust until I had normal matches.
In the overall perspective, I must point out I play as Deathslinger and I know not many people chose him as their to-go Killer. So, perhaps, the data was limited and other Deathslingers play way better than me. I do believe this new matchmaking could be an improvement to finally set up the differences between people who insist in playing in a ruthlessly competitive mode and those who are more casual and just want to have fun.
-
The only issue I encounter with the current proposal is the limit to the Obsession getting the aura reading, but other than that I believe it is a healthy change for the current state of the game and how incredibly stressing was to go against full 4-SWFs teams where one ran Object of Obsession.
Whatsoever, I believe we could've the perk as a an "extension" perk since being the Obsession is a gamble at the beginning of the match and people running Decisive Strike, Nemesis, For The People and so on will always cause switches half through the match. So, I'd say that even if the person being the Obsession isn't running Object of Obsession, perhaps, the perk can still give them aura reading if someone else in the team is running it as an extension perk like people with Kindred can give some insight to other players, etc. That'd be my only suggestion for the current proposal.
-
Yes and no, depending on how you view it. Most people will equal Keys to Moris which is not a fair comparison. Keys are their own mechanic which, in my opinion, doesn't have a counter from the Killer's side, but also proves to be difficult task to accomplish by itself.
Hatch requires one of two conditions to be met before spawning somewhere in the map:
- Finish generators equal to number of current survivors alive plus one.
- There is only one remaining Survivor alive while the first condition was not fulfilled.
Moris were equal to old Brand New Parts add-ons in toolboxes which automatically fixed a whole generator in a couple of seconds. These were nerfed ages ago to repair up to 25% of a generator instead and Moris went untouched for the longest. Then, Moris required one hook and Killers began to compare them to Keys because of it.
There is no denying it is a strong mechanic that benefits Survivors and could probably use a change for balancing. It is especially broken when facing SWFs teams that defiantly aim for it. For me, a Key is not a game ending mechanic -- in my experience as both Killer and Survivor there has only been a handful for times when Keys proved to be useful.
-
I just recently started playing Killer after a long break due to being bullied by a SWFs squad back during the Halloween event. I'm bad as Killer and usually just play for dailies or challenges -- I'm Rank 18 right now and even like that I get matched against red ranks due to the MM issues.
I am learning Deathslinger and I had a match where I was trying a built with two Hex totems, Ruin and DH. So, long story short, I get another SWFs team with two Davids dressed identically who changed at last second on lobby and one tried to get my attention so early on. Fast-vaulting, flashlight clicking, etc. I hit 3 stacks of DH and this David panicked trying to find the totem. He and the other guys find one in the centre, it was Yamaoka Estate, and there was a lit totem inside the house. They start humping in and I just try to protect the totem, downing them and hooking them around. Two of them die because of it and finally they cleanse it -- it was Ruin. By this time, they had three genned themselves with only two left and it became easily about ten to fifteen minutes of hide and seek until I found and killed them both.
In a more recent occasion, I got another SWFs team playing with three OoO and they brought Mary's Letter. Needless to say it was an awful match from beginning to end, teabagging me from the distance because of the aura read. I couldn't do much through most of the match. At the end, they tried to swarm the doors and, since they were very close in Midwich, I could stride back and forth, injuring everyone. They still tried to teabag me once the doors were opened and well, teabagging with Deathslinger -- not a good idea. I speared one and two escaped. I hooked him and the last remaining one had OoO so... he didn't even try to save him and just ran away. Let's just say the endgame chat was... interesting.
-
@CornHub said:
Also, even though it's uncommon, more than one person with OoO. Hate those hell matches so much.
I think it's getting more and more common. Just last night I had a match against three people using OoO and they brought a Midwich offering. They taunted me back and forth and still had the nerve of insulting me in the after game chat.
A further issue here is that I'm Rank 18 as Killer since I generally play for leisure and fun and like to try doing some daily rituals and challenges. These people deliberately dropped ranks (they so did not play like Rank 18 to 15 Survivors in my opinion) to match against lower Killer and bully the hell out of them. It's disgusting.
-
Moris were the counterpart of Brand New Parts in Toolboxes which automatically finished a generator in a couple of seconds, Brand New Parts were nerfed ages ago and Moris went untouched for the longest then received a nerf to require one hook and Killers decided to complaint about Keys which are not a fair comparison by far.
A key is by itself, practically harmless... yes, it will open the hatch, yes, it will grant a free escape to whoever has it. But it's not a game ending mechanic by itself. It doesn't automatically end the game for the Killer like Moris do for Survivors. This completely unfair complaint comes entirely from SWFs teams which are toxic and, guess what, even without Keys some SWFs will be toxic... just like some Killers are toxic and just like this community (and any online gaming community) can be toxic.
Keys getting nerfed or implemented with different mechanics is completely fine for me. If anything it may bring some more interesting aspects to the game, but the Mori nerf was incredibly needed.

As a graphic designer, take your vote up and get out.

The hatred toward streams breeds from multiple instances where streamers have bullied and attacked other players (Killers and Survivors alike). While it is not your friend's fault, I'm pretty sure you play normally... people are just more than likely to bad manner streamers because they are used to be bad mannered by them. As @PanicSquid commented, in the streaming community there is an alarming high amount of toxic players that will go out of their way to bully other players for the sake of "creating fun content".
Personally, I had a streamer insult me in the after game chat because he died on first hook while I was the Killer despite the fact it is so not my fault his teammates made no effort to rescue him. The level of entitlement I've seen with streamers is also astonishing... your safest bet would be to stream as Killer rather than as a Survivor.

The damage you take is dependant on the Deathslinger. The deathslinger can lunge even when he has you speared, doing this breaks the chain. When you don't take damage its because DS lunged and broke the chain, you take damage if the deathslinger lets the chain break and endures a 4 sec stun.
Thank you for taking the time to explain it, I appreciate it. As I said I've faced him easily less than ten times so I didn't have the faintest idea of how it worked. I was confused as to how it applied Deep Wound or not.
-
Matchmaking has been like this for a while now... while I do think matching against SWF teams causes some of the strange situations. I've been playing SoloQ as a survivor and still get matched against Killers way off my rank (from both up and down).

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/205832/players-are-exploiting-the-match-making-system
That's actually good match making considering you held your own claiming they were too high of rank. As a survivor you can literally get less than 7k in BP and die 30 seconds in.
Also this... I once had a match against a Rank 1 Nurse who tunnelled me the three hooks in a row and left with less than 3k of points. As Killer, I think you have a bit more of control of the match even if the Survivors are great.
-
Personally, I have nothing against The Deathslinger. I don't play as him and I rarely face him so I don't have any real reason to hate on people who play as him. I wish he was a bit more common to figure out how to counter him more effectively... still up to this point I don't understand how breaking the chain works... sometimes I break it and I get no damage, others I break it and I get deep wound inflicted others I don't break it and I still get deep wound inflicted so it's really confusing to me.
Tunnelling Deathslingers and camping Deathslingers are horrible to face against whatsoever. If people use him like that, it's fault of the players and not of the Killer himself.

I think the unpopular opinion, is that survivors is harder than people give it credit for, but is still easier than killer.
I agree with this, thank you for putting it into words.
I get so much anxiety when playing Killer, but exclusively Killer mains (and entitled Survivor mains) don't grasp how difficult it is to coordinate in SoloQ. I literally see OP's suggestions and I'm all "Jesus". Survivors already have a complex gameplay and I don't think adding more to it will make it any more enjoyable. There is no way to balance most of the points given.
As a Survivor or Killer, I only bring map offerings after I've gotten several matches in the same map in a row and I am tired of it or if I need to do a bloody challenge -- like falling off a great height while being chases because otherwise chances are I will get flat maps with nothing to use for it.
Adding more time to generator repairs by gathering tools to do so would only be balanced by reducing the number of generators that need to be repaired. Repairing already feels like an eternity to face Thanatophobia, Dying Light, Ruin, Pop Goes The Weasel and Tinkerer to make it even longer -- especially if these tools are consumed by use.
I don't t-bag Killers as a Survivor, but that cooldown is an exaggeration -- especially in critical moments when you have to be crouching back and forth for other reasons. I don't condone people that t-bag, it's tacky, I will give you that.
That last point is an absolute overkill. Survivors should not be punished for something like that.
It's your opinion, I respect it, but I wholly disagree with it. Both sides have their struggles, but I do recognise Killer has a more complex gameplay.

I just got out of a match where a Legion decimated us on shelter woods. They were using Sloppy and this rank 3 Zarina kept using self care every time she was injured.
Without a med kit.
With Mangled.
She just wouldn’t let anyone else heal her even though I was running Desperate Measures.
I just don’t get it.
There is a meme video a person made, but with a Claudette Self-Caring and they having "We'll Make It" which makes it way worse. Horrible teammates.
I'm always that person that tries to focus on generators and goes for the unhook if I'm near or I see the bar on 1/3 and nobody going for them. It's difficult to coordinate on SoloQ and I've been insulted by players for not rescuing them in the basement with a camping Killer that just doesn't leave the area...
This community is lovely sometimes.
