Just limit they're perks
Basically all that is probably needed honestly.

Well not sure if they changed anything recently but they were bugged like a month ago. Not sure if that's still the case though
-
I actually really like this idea! It would make the game more like f13 which tbh was more fun until you know what...
Overall if you played or have seen f13 gameplay you well know that it just makes the game more funny and toxic if the player chooses is to. I don't like the excuse that people would make the game more toxic because that's way too much of a human nature problem than the game's fault. It would also make more content👁😮👁
-
So your saying EVERYBODY that thinks some killers can't be countered as easily, think that every killer is the same and they never tried adapting. Also saying that killers don't have a good way of tracking without perks! I can't tell if your being stupid or trolling at that point. It's almost as there isn't any blood stains, scratch marks, moaning and shrugging, etc. that the survivors leave so the killer can track you (which is the one of the little reasons that makes spirit so powerful). Have you ever seen people run 0 perks and still get a 4k with these killers you listed because I sure have. smh my head seriously, what kinda bs forum post is this.

Spirit can still be countered though, she's not uncounterable. Look up some YouTube tutorials or something to counter her, if Spirit gets a nerf that forces all the Spirit mains to learn how to play her all over again. Hillbilly got a nerf, ruin got a nerf, ect. Spirit is balanced as she is able to countered still. There are so many red rank survivor mains, hell even green and purple ranks I know that can counter a good Spirit.
Just because you and some other survivors can't counter her doesn't mean she's OP. It's called learn to counter her, because if she ever does get a nerf all the toxic survivor mains are gonna go and try to get the next killer nerfed.
I agreed with you for the most part until you said she is balanced. There is obviously some counter play but that is if she isn't using her ability. If she uses stridor and uses her ability it is the easiest way to down a survivor.
You guessing isn't called counterplay it's just pure luck at that point. Saying that the people who want spirit changed a bit are toxic survivor mains is whack! You can't possibly be a survivor main if you actually think that unless you are like 8 years old which I doubt is the case.
Unless you rarely go against spirits that are good then I guess that makes sense for you but for the people who do play against good spirits, it is a whole different story.
If there is ACTUAL counterplay then please go on and say it instead of just saying "look it up".
-
What are you talking about? His whole kit needs a rework, everyone knows he is outdated. The only fun build he has is spoopy myers imo but that is it.
-
Lol we need more of these type of people in the game.
-
Never gonna happen just putting that out there. If they won't let tea bagging and pointing because "it's more bm" then they probably won't do this.
On the off chance they do well they have to do the same with the survivor side but then the bm card will come to play.

Bro, go away. Killers are allowed to attempt to counter that broken combo. If no one picks you up, that's on the team not the killer. So take that wall of useless text and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
You obviously didn't bother reading all of it did you? Not surprised but what can you do about someone you can't reason with.

So you ran DS Unbreakable. You got what you deserved, the killer playing correctly against that combo, its not their fault your team sucked balls to not pick you up.
If you weren't going to abuse DS Unbreakable, then run something else, people like you are as bad as a thief saying they wont steal again to escape jail time.
Bro just stop right there. You are making killer mains look so bad. Saying you can't run those perks because it is strong synergy is complete bs. It's not what you said but you are basically saying that. It's just like saying you can't run pop and corrupt (maybe even ruin) because they are strong.
If you bothered to be like most reasonable people you would hear him out. The killer didn't actually play around the combo they just rendered him useless. Only thing I agreed on is that the teammates sucked ass for not picking him up.
The killer didn't even know he had those perks but yeah it's ok just to assume something like that with no evidence. People like you who say this are the exact reason people run these perks.
Scott should have never made that small pp video because now the people who watch that might take the wrong idea and then think they are correct on the topic when there is no reason they shouldn't run those perks. Same goes with pop, corrupt, and ruin.

Meh we all have anecdotes. Realistically, there's nothing one survivor kobeing can do against a competent killer who has everyone else hooked. Getting unlucky twice in a row is not something you should stall the game for minutes to prepare for.
Plus it's a nurse so it wouldn't be that hard to down them all again in a matter of minutes.
-
You are playing nurse and slugging all four survivors. Are you really complaining about people escaping that. Entitled to the 4k is what you sound like right about now.

Yeah, when I was playing last night I hit a survivor through a window with a hammer from like a million miles away with my m1 as the hillbilly last night. & an Ace walked into my chainsaw twice and it just safely passed through him, lol.
LOL! That is crazy and poor ace he didn't hear the chainsaw go brrrr

Thank you DminuS, I didn't know this probably because I am casual when it comes to game mechanics. I appreciate this information.

Yeah the extremes are a little to extreme when it comes to hitboxes at the moment.
-
I honestly can't tell if you are joking or not.
I have been going up against many people of all platforms and my experience is so different that you probably can't comprehend. You lost me when you excluded the other platforms.
-
I burnt out about 4 times playing this game and everytime I come back its always better than I remember. I recently came back after 2 months just because I heard of mmr. Sure it wasn't good but was entertained.
Point is that it's always healthy taking breaks and realizing that it is all better.

I just want to know why every single console player I've run in to has been using self-care. Is the meta that different on console?
It's pretty meta for console players. Not that I use it. I see some solo que players run it sometimes. If I were to think about a time that I use it. It would probably be when I am playing with a swf that isn't as skilled as others are.
-
@BubbaMain64 said:
Yeah this is exactly why I don't understand why people want a noed nerf. I get it sucks whenever you're being chased and it pops out of no-where, but any other time you should just leave. NOED either never activates/lasts long enough for anything to happen or it secures 1 kill. This based purely off of experience though.
Wait people want a noed nerf???
You must of heard it from a small group of people or something idk.

I think you and the rest of us already know the answer.
Also are you talking about that one forum post yesterday? It was about this one dude saying pc players are sweaty because they play nurse, spirit, etc.
Just in case if you somehow don't know the answer ofc it isn't sweaty.
-
I like swf. I enjoy the challenge and it's super fun playing with friends (although I don't have any lol) but when we talk about solo que and a swf in the lobby... It's a gamble.
You're banking on the fact that they are good teammates or they play super funny. On the other hand I feel like I don't really have to explain.
I don't see why people complain about swf when it's quite literally the smartest choice a survivor can do. It's obvious why some people complain about it which is fine but not when they think they are entitled to going against swf that play in a certain way.
-
I don't understand how people can be so entitled. smh

Every single pc killer I've gone against I've survived. They aren't sweaty tryhards they are just playing the game as it is meant to be played on their system. I've had one pc player escape my trials and they sent me a "gg. Finally a good console killer." If you can't adjust and adapt to the new players then I feel like the problem starts and ends at YOU not them.

I've been a high prple/lower red ranke survivor aswell as killer. Stopped playing for months because of terribly one-sided, unfair and unfun matches.
I've returned for the MMR system and had a blast. The best matches I had ever played, Solid back and forth, prettyclose games not just stomp or get stomped kind of matches. I've been only playing killer though.
Been playing survivor now that MMR is disabled. Dropped to rank 20 because I hadn't played for so long. It's been hell. Probably to worst gaming experience I've ever had. Most of the time I've faced killers that shouldn't be anywhere near these ranks. I shouldn't be there, and some of these killers are better than I am, so why are they playing at newbie ranks? Most of the time I then get teammates who seem to have never played a video game before.
I've also seen a fair amount of survivors who likely shouldn't be anywhere near these rajnks. Every now and then I face an obvious beginner and they are getting slaughtered.
There's nothing in between and it is an awful experience, probably not just for me.
I lreally ike this gamne but I can't stand these bs matchups. It is not getting much better once I've ranked up a bunch. I'd really love to have some fun and fair matches and hope you'll get the MMR fixed and up and running again soon.
So sick and tired of derankers and the likes, screw '*em.
Same here dude. I came back when I heard about mmr and had a blast. Sure it was bad and pretty trash and usually got trash players... ok nvm it was bad now that I think about it...
Yeah good on there part lol.
-
Just saying skill is a requirement. If you want easy games play kyf because you sound like you don't like going against people with skill. Except Huntress with ire head that isn't skill.

I play on console and the game is way more fun.

So what is the problem here?

2nd chance perks are fine, it's when they're used offensively instead of defensively. Example - Survivor get's unhooked, has DS active and runs away, Hook his rescuer, guy with ds comes back and unhooks him, BT active on the unhooked guy, hit his rescuer, get Ds'ed. That's just 2 people, imagine 4?
DS needs to be removed when you perform an interaction on a gen or with someone else, cause clearly that wasn't the design for the perk. Forcing it inside locker's too.
I was thinking whenever someone else gets hooked because that would really make it an anti tunnel perk
-
@RaSavage42 said:
Cause either they play against them "all the time" or see other use them in not so kind ways
DS locker "tech"
Running to the killer with DS active or BT
Good survivors can utilize the perks they use which is good for them and some players can see that... While other player find it frustrating due to trying not to play in not so kind ways (don't get me wrong killers kill and survivors survive) but when the odds are stacked against one side or the other "it's stupid and boring to play"
Changing it on the other hand won't be as simple as it may seem......
@Rivyn said:
It's because they can be stacked. And when you stack them on up to four survivors, it becomes a slog. Considering how fast matches go, it adds an incredible amount of pressure.
Then you have SWF that further escalate the issue.
When it comes to NOED, it really is the killers only second chance perk. Do bones, you negate it. There are four survivors, five totems. I've had survivor teams simply run by totems to do a gen, then complain when NOED activates. I wouldn't mind having the perk tweaked, or adding a totem counter of some kind, but again, it's not hard to negate.
Yes, there are counters to survivor second chance perks, but there are four survivors, again. You're having to work around multiple second chance perks, around multiple survivors.
This is why I don't push pass green ranks lmao. I realized that it's too much for me lol.
-
Killer is frustrating man espicially if you are new to killer

@Slashstreetboy said:
2nd Chance perks get a lot of heat because for the opposing side it can feel so undeserved. Like survivors making a bad save, someone gets slugged, you chase the unhooked, the slug gets up with unbreakable and the guy you´re chasing has stacked DS/UB so u can not do anything meaningful against them. They played poorly yet the Killer is put in a bad spot.
Similar things could be said about noed though. I only really think 2nd chance perks become problematic when stacked. As of now, nothing prevents people to stack DS/UB/DH/X on every survivor, every match.
Don´t get me wrong people are free to use anything within the games rules as they see fit, but man can it feel frustrating at times.
Yeah man I feel ya. I tried switching to killer but I get at least two people running that build in almost every game

@EnderloganYT said:
we really just need to make things such as DS less abusable and I'd be happy. it's meant to be an anti-tunnel, but to counter tunneling it threw the baby out with the bathwater by countering killers in general.
one of my main issues with DS is that they can do whatever they want with little drawback for 60 seconds. plus, I could hook another survivor (or even two, I've had that happen to me before) and still get hit with DS. all it needs is to be based more on actually countering tunneling, rather than just giving 60 seconds of free time.
BT I feel has one issue: it allows dumb saves to be viable. if they unhook before I get the chance to run away, they still get the reward. just make it so the killer has had to be nearby for at least 3-5 seconds before it can activate.
Unbreakable is fine, it's just the stupidly broken synergy with DS, because then there is no counter regardless of what you do.
NOED I'm fine with (hint hint, my PFP) and all we need is a totem counter either basekit or on something like small game.
I never see adrenaline as a problem (but to be fair I run NOED so it kinda counteracts it) but my main gripe is that you don't need to necessarily do anything. I'd just add that it only works if you completed the equivalent of at least 1 full gen that match.
essentially, the main issue is that most perks should be based of rewarding good performance or giving you a tool to help with weaker areas that you still have to utilize skillfully, not covering a weakness up (and then some) for free. I've got some examples.
NOED: rewards keeping at least one dull totem, or you could say it provides a tool for people who struggle with taking out survivors before all gens are completed, but doesn't outright hand them kills.
Saboteur: provides a tool for those struggling to keep their teammates alive that must be utilized skillfully in order to derive benefit.
Spine Chill: provides a tool for those who struggle against killers sneaking up on them that still must be utilized skillfully (you have to decide whether to run once you see it light up, or if you should stay for a bit
Blood Warden: rewards you for getting a last minute hook by blocking the gates.
need I say more?
I think ds needs a rework for sure. It is really abusable against the less experienced players. But not to mention it's practically used all over the ranks. As much as I love endgame builds I can never get them to work anymore lmao.

As I said, reeks of bias. Anybody who makes a point you dislike is automatically a "karen." You're one of those people that likes to toss around terms without actually knowing what they mean...
I literally have no idea what you mean by "Oh THe TeAMmatEs aRe BeiNg HelPFul To ONe oF theIr tEamATes and NoT doiNG ThE objECtivE. YEah No PrESsure aT alL" It seems like all you can do is try to hyperbolize what I'm actually saying instead of making an actual counterpoint. You either have no idea what you're saying and don't understand my point, or you're just being extremely disingenuous with your post.
Either way, I don't feel like I should take you seriously. If I'm being honest, you're acting more like a "karen" than anybody else lmao. You're blaming your flaw of being biased on other people, and then namecalling like a child when you get called out.
Please though, record a video of your legendary "slug somebody with DS/Unbreakable" strategy to show me how supreme you are. I'm obviously just some karen who has no idea what I'm saying, because it's not like I made an actual valid argument. I totally didn't make an actual argument, to which you totally didn't just act like a child and not address the point.
Either get real and grow up or don't tag me with another reply, kid.
man you aren't worth the time. You wouldn't understand.

Second chance perks are fine (for the most part). The problem is when they stack all second chance perks together for some really frustrating situations. Im not going to go into noed, thats another discussion on its own, but Dead Hard, Desicive Strike, Unbreakable, Adrenaline on four survivors is really frustrating. If you haven't played against a full SWF with this setup you might not understand why people complain about second chance perks. Lets think up of a scenario, imagine this match I am playing in:
Lets say I play killer. Runs around and find a Jake, swing and hit he is injured. He runs to the next pallet, looping it for a bit, makes a bad mistake that should be punished. Oh he has Dead Hard and makes distance to the pallet and drops it. I finally catch him and hook him. He gets saved and sits himself on a gen with another person. Now I manage to catch them off guard so I slug Jake, while Meg is running off. Generators pop in the distance. I have to eat a stun, let Jake escape my grasp and loosing all pressure I got or leave him letting him pick himself up. Now I run after Meg, Jake picks himself up from the floor. Same chase happens with Meg, loop, hit her once, loop, Dead Hard into a pallet. Another 2 gens pop in the distance. Hook meg, chase someone else. Meg gets saved, decides to sit on a gen. I come back and only see her. Generator is half way done. She jumps into a locker and I spot a Dwight at a jungle gym nearby the generator. What am I supposed to do? If I chase Dwight, she can keep working on the gen, if I open the locker, same story, eat the DS and she jumps off my shoulder. Lets say I pick her out of the locker, gets stunned, she runs away. I somehow manage to catch up to her, Dead Hard into a pallet. I mind game the pallet somehow, she goes down. I leave her slugged to force the Dwight off the generator. I injure Dwight. Looping on to the next jungle gym, I see Dwight makes a mistake and I swing and miss because of Dead Hard. Now Meg picks herself up, Jake and the Blendette I haven't even seen the whole match pops the last generator after Meg is up, Adrenaline proceeds to heal everyone back to full health and sprints away in my face.
Now most rank 1 matches aren't like this, you need to split map pressure and let people go if they run you for more than 15 seconds, but the point is having 4 different second chance perks rob you of all pressure you got in the span of a couple of seconds is frustrating beyond words. If you played killer and had a match like this you would understand why people complain about second chance perks.
but yes you are very correct
