Not to detract from your great point of looking at why people hate MMR, but smurfing has been around for almost 20 years. It is a thorn in the side of all ranked games, regardless of how good their matchmaking system is or gameplay balance is.
BHVR absolutely needs to take a look at MMR, but nothing other than its existence is to blame for smurfing.
nah ur wrong lmfao ratio + ur white

Not that they've said. But the ranked matchmaker was all over the place from September 2019 until the day MMR came out. So, since all they did was slap it back into place, it just seems like more of the same. It can go right for a while, and then derail itself. Or just never be on the rails in the first place. It varies for just about everyone.
Makes sense, I don't play much killer so it's just weird for me going from one game that's an absolute slaughter, to another where I'm lucky to get even 3 hooks.

10 points for using a stereotype as argument, but i have to substract points for this post because you didn´t bring a single real argument, just a claim, while mathematicaly its the same anyway.
Look man, I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm simply asking if the meta is different. I have played on PC for a while and barely anyone runs self-care. Literally every single cross-play survivor has been running it. All I wanted to know is if the killers play different on console than on PC.

No self care is 🗑 and not all of us console players are potatoes.
Lots of boosted red ranks right now due to so many babies in ranked for so long now.
Give it a little bit and you'll see that the real red ranks arent using self care because most of us dont mind being injured with alot of us running builds that give us a slight advantage when injured, plus if were confident in our looping ability plus we know what pallets are left around us were good.
Plus alot of us know that we need to get gens done first and healing second.
haha i'm not saying ya'll are potatoes. Just everytime I get put with a globe, I see self care in the end game. It's pretty uselss and time-consuming, and I was just wondering if the meta was that different on console
