  • Really snowballs toxic? I literally have snowball fights with the last surv if they're willing of course it's so funny, if I'm losing I'll have a snowball with the whole team you know why not

  • Merry Christmas guys!!!!!! Be safe and have fun.

No insults to anyone in the match, they clearly have different priorities and that's fine.

That being said, when you get teammates that don't do gens and then do things like this, it's extremely demoralizing. You have a Killer that excels at camping and I'm put into an instant-loss scenario through zero fault of my own.

That is exactly why a lot of people are burnt out of DBD. Lack of meaningful agency and feeling like their own skill doesn't matter, be that on Killer or Survivor.

Played a bit of survivor today just for the event tome challenges, played maybe 4 or 5 games and 3 were hard tunnels from 5 gens. As a killer main I was super disappointed like they literally just relied on perks and bloodlust to tunnel straight off the hook. None of the matches had any toxicity from my side in the slightest either.

Usually I give them the benefit of doubt being a killer main myself, but after looping a Chucky the whole game which is a feat for me and then dying because the last other survivor hid to get hatch after I'd saved them twice was the tipping point.

I finished my challenges and switched to killer and gave the survivors the most wholesome matches ever.

  • @bloodyknife said:

Why are you always making excuses? If you can't loop these killers then there is nothing BHVR can do for you. These killers are so bad too it's too funny to me.

Bro You're trolling right? In the first vid there's literally nothing he could've done to escape that. Had the trickster not had the ricochet addon he lives more than likely. Trickster right now isn't "so bad"maybe if you cant play him. I don't think his looping is to blame. And before you cry survivor main, I'm not i play killer 98% of the time.

  • I mean it depends on what the killer is trying to accomplish honestly. If Im practicing a killer I'll 100 percent throw a game to get some cracked chase practice against a god looper. The point of chasing the strongest survivor I've played against is to learn their tricks and how they loop certain tiles as well as perfecting my killer power against them. Personally I usually let them leave after catching them twice.

As for playing to win tunneling and especially camping aren't good strats against competent teams, they'll cook you fast.

Last You also must ask yourself why are they camping and tunneling is the team being toxic, surrounding the hook or slug waiting for flashy saves or ftp buckle saves, are they using BT to body block the unhooker, or they purposely using ds and otr.

Most killers will just play off of the survivors alutrism which isn't all their fault, as it's the most logical way to play ya know work smarter not harder. I personally like the challenge of the late game snowball effect.

In the end lots of players on both sides just plain and simply suck. They do obnoxious and purposely annoying toxic things just to get a response.

I literally got called a tunneler just for playing nurse the other night, I hooked two diff survivors let them both get safely unhooked ran into the first guy (tried to suicide on hook) I hooked let him go, chased another surv downed and hooked them, first guy was following the whole time to get a flashy save. I hook him ofc and here it comes the insults from the whole team. I will say solo q is hell and that's an issue because as killer you don't know if your going against a 4 man swf or a group of high solos. I usually can tell during the match and I'll play accordingly, there's no fun in pub stomping uncoordinated solos. That's me other killer mains simply don't care a win is a win and that's all that matters

Killers gotta stop looking at kills as a means of winning. If you destroy the survivors with 4 gens left and then let them all leave you still won, I mean do you you really need the iri emblems to tell you how good you are? Ive had plenty of matches trying to master trick shots on huntress where I won personally because of how many crazy shots I hit.

I dont really share this sentiment, i consider kills as the only real win condition in this game. That said, no kind of win requires going such lengths as holding 3 gen till the server closes.

I feel like the main issue with 3 genning is that killer possess infinite regression resource, as almost all the time survivors get uncounterable 3 gens against killers who take CoB/Overcharge/Eruption combo and just cycle between gens, endlessly kicking them and getting meaningful regression from that. Part of 3 gen solution could be reworking these perks to make them no longer work in the long run.

Like, make it so CoB can only regress up to 1 whole generator worth of progress throughout the entire game, but buff the regression rate to 300%, do the same with Overcharge and Eruption - buff numbers, make them finite.

It's fine if killer can hold 3 gen while the killer still has resources for that, but eventually they have to run out of them and, imo, it's better if it's the killer that runs out of regression, than survivors run out of healing.

I mean if kills is your only win condition and you have 4 alive with 1 gen left then I'm sorry bro 9/10 times with a semi competent team your losing. You shouldn't get rewarded for holding the game out that nor should the game even be allowed to go that long. An hour in one match is wildly stupid.

I do agree with the killer running out of resources or regressive kicks. At the end of the day it's a double edged sword because both sides are not wanting to throw the game, when said killer's TR is heard the survs pre run and killer kicks an empty gen, killer doesn't chase running surv in the distance because they know that's gonna throw the game, most people won't care and eventually get bored and throw the game by chasing said surv. On the flip side you have survs who also don't want to throw so they'll run the killer away from the gen being worked on instead of staying and letting the killer down them. Once again most players will get bored and throw.

The point is the game shouldn't go past like 20 minutes with one gen left honestly. End the game already let the entity kill the survs and shame the killer for not doing their only purpose. Everyone leaves with whatever BP they've earned and get no pips/de-pips, then move on to the next match.

How can you improve a skill issue? Improve means make it better, you don't want skill issues to be more prominent. You mean reduce, right?

Well, one way to improve solo queue would be to implement a anti-tunneling feature that prevents "the weakest link" from getting tunneled out without the killer being provoked. Tunneling is justified most of the time but tunneling immediately at five generators isn't fun for both parties. I can't imagine killers getting an easy kill and gaining fun out of that when there's no skill to be rewarded that fun. That would certaintly help out solo queue whilst SWF can counter it so easily currently. I also don't like the idea of Decisive Strike having to prevent such a common, and flourishing, playstyle because, if it got buffed, everyone would run it. No one likes to face that.

I mean when I started 2 years ago tunneling was still present it isn't new. Im not a vet but I have seen many mention that it's always been used. The weakest link( the player always out of position) will always be the target if killers want to win because the win condition is based off kills not hooks. There's no set time or gens left when tunneling is ok or not, just like there's no set time or gens you can pop within the first 5 minutes. Most killers tunnel because by the time the finish the 1st chase 1-2 gens have already popped and they feel the game is slipping away from them. There's absolutely no reason that at least one gen shouldn't pop at beginning after the first chase. So to be honest they're not really tunneling at 5 gens, unless the killer is camping and the whole team immediately runs in for the save.

As far as swf and solo q there's not a lot of you can do to bridge the gap. All comms do is allow teams to communicate it doesn't help with looping, and 95% aren't using comp call outs. They also make up like 2% of the player base. On top of that all it takes is a quick trip to the discord to find a swf party easy. I do think basekit bond and kindred would be fine but as someone else mentioned it wouldn't solve anything and adding in game comms isn't the way to go at all. Swf are stronger because they play together a lot simply.

Randoms with comms will still be terrible except instead of waiting for end chat they'll be screaming obscenenities at a poor wild Dwight all game. Solo q suck because a majority of solo q have they're own agenda and wants out of a match. You can't fix that.

yes, they're actively cheesing the mechanism that punishes the genrush and refusing to take any steps as a power role in order to finish the game.

if killer is incapable of breaking 3 gen stalemate there's only 2 possible reasons this is happening: 1) they actually can do that, they just don't understand that / refuse to do that; 2) they are outclassed so badly, they should just take the L and the only reason they're still going is because survivors are not bothering enough.

either way this means that they should leave their 3 gen and commit to that chase eventually and let it end one way or another.

I agree with this! I haven't had a match that's lasted that long but I have had matches last about 35 ish minutes and all are in the 3 gen stand off criteria. I never purposely hold exclusively from the beginning a 3 gen but if the survivors 3 gen themselves then I'm going to defend it. That being said if all survivors are left and only 3 gens are left to me they've won, I'll pick one to kill and leave the others to the gen. If they save their teammate then better more hooks for me.

Last 3 genning simply to drag the games out is wildly stupid and will always be toxic af. I mean you could literally increase survs gen speed and killers haste til the last Gen pops or a surv is put on a hook. You could also make it to where instead of the gen speed increase all 3 gens progress as the one being worked on.

He isn't arguing that its cheating, but riding on a technicality. Thats how courts work all over the world, you have a ruleset and then people try to argue within the ruleset if someone broke the rules, bend them or if the rules were ambigious and need to be modified or ammended.

TECHNICALLY Discord is a third party programm that gives you a rather sizable advantage in game, but like you said, claiming that this is something like cheating is bogus. The big discrepancy between soloQ players and even casual SWFs with coms is staggering, though, and IS something that BHVR should work on in one way or another. And its not banning players who wanna talk to each other in game.

Thing is voice chat being added in is an absolutely terrible idea, everytime i hear this I immediately think of TCM I literally can't count how many times I was called a racial slur while playing as sonny. No to mention the other crazy toxic things being said. I don't play survivor a lot but I don't need to hear Dwight yelling from a locker for Claude to stop self caring in a bush in a corner of the map, while Mikaela is blessing a totem and meg pre dropping every pallet we have in chase.

No. The point is that we have a major double standard, where killers are expected to make poor game decisions, that actively lower their chances of winning…… but expect absolute zero from survivors in return.

And yes, there is a reason to tunnel at 5 generators, and that’s the fact that it’s effective. Killers aren’t doing it to spite survivors, they’re doing it to help win a PvP game. And if killers are expected to make poor game decisions, then survivors should also be expected to make poor game decisions.

Bro I'm on your side lol, as I mention that tunneling at 5 gens is the most effective way to win, however FOR me it isn't necessary or meaningful at five gens. I know I can beat my son at every sport we play but the wins aren't meaningful. If tunneling at 5 gens makes you feel good and accomplished then by all means do it I'm a killer main 99% so I understand the reason I was just answering your questions from a survivors perspective which I have just started to dabble in. I like to make the snowball comebacks to see precisely how good my skills are.

Ps not tunneling at 5 gens isn't poor decisions by the way, when I mained hag the game didn't even start for me until at least one and some times 2 gens pop, so I could carefully make my web.

  • Nurse and huntress are my favs right now. I love the prediction and other trick blinks on nurse, I don't play her as most people do by the way.

Anna on the other hand there's nothing more satisfying than the orbital into lob double hit.

Freddy finishes up my love triangle, I know he's rough to play but I still enjoy him.

I haven't tried chucky yet but he looks so fun. Xeno is cool, nemmy and demo are really fun for me.

I loathe billy I just suck with him though lol, and I don't or will ever own skill merchant.

Everyone else is pretty decent for me.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3605116#Comment_3605116

No. We can’t agree on that. There isn’t an arbitrary number of generators that need to be completed, before the killer can tunnel, nor should there be. Especially because zero of these arbitrary rules are placed on the survivor side.

For real, what rules do survivors follow, for the sake of consideration of the killer’s fun, that can actively lower their chances of escaping? Killers are being demanded to make poor game decisions, that can lower their chances of winning the game, for the sake of survivor fun, yet at the same time, there’s zero of these rules for survivors.

Even with it being 4v1 I think their main complaint with tunneling at 5 gens is that unless the killer is as equally bad as the first survivor tunneled it's virtually impossible to complete all the gens.

The point is that at five gens the need to sweat isn't necessary really and if you can't loop like ayrun it's super unfun, but it is what efficiently wins games as long as it's based off of kills and not individual hooks. In a game that's pvp there's always gonna be an aspect thats not fun one side or the other, I mean the point of PVP is to beat the opponent everytime right. So I think it comes with the territory.

As far as survivor rules they don't have a lot to interact with outside of holding M1 on a gen and the fact that they aren't the power role. They don't have rules because the killer can control what the only objective they have (gens) from the beginning. Its not like breaking every three gen is inevitable, most smart killers load in and the first thing they do is find the 3gen setup some hard defend it others proxy defend it.

Poor decisions is a little bit of a logical fallacy. For instances just a few examples:

If they unhook Nancy and she uses her bt to bodyblock for the unhooker that's not tunneling.

If I hook Dwight beside a highly progressed gen he gets unhooked and immediately hops on that gen, not tunneling.

If I let your teammates get the safe unhook and they dip out on you instead of staying for chase and I circle the map and find you again not tunneling.

If someone is expecting the killer to just drop any of these scenarios then idk what to say it's a lost cause. It'd be like 99'ing the last Gen then since the killer is super close the whole team completely negates it to work on another gen with 0 progress and never comes back to that same gen because it's tunneling until the killer kicks it. Asinine, I know.

"I got held hostage at the exit gates. Went around breaking pallets until the end game collapse nearly ended and went to check and sure enough I was getting teabagged by the player I spared and the one other remaining person"

I had a match with Bubba where the team was pretty decent. I noticed some tunnel / camp would help tremendously but decided to play nice. Eventually, I managed to down one survivor just when the last gen popped.

I stayed in a distance signaling they were allowed to pick her up. They didn't. Instead of leaving one remained at the gate. I thought I'd do some farming as there were unbroken pallets around.

In the endgame chat there was a storm of "EZ" and "baby bubba" from 3 of them.

I think you summed it up well. Sad, depressing lives.

This right here I was practicing hatchets with no addons and only iron maiden on Toba against a 11k hour survivor main and their friend whilst I only have around 2k. I clearly threw the game just to practice hatchets, I downed all but one I think and didn't hook a single one until egc. They obviously all escaped, which I didn't care about as i had some awesome hatchets. In the end chat I send a GGs glnm, to which they reply " yeah GGs for us, your a trash killer." Then proceed to call me names ofc and tell me how I suck in real life.

I was streaming which I do to just record games to analyze later not for views. They came to my stream to further belittle me and talk even more trash. Needless to say that was the last match I lost that night.

I don't care about the trash talk IF we are both playing competitively but if one side is clearly throwing then it's unwarranted.

It was magnificent. I was used to its loops and advantages, so I liked to get it. Slightly more as survivor than killer.

But now I can't stand to look at it. That... wasteland is not Disturbed Ward, and it never will be.

Bro it used to look this beautiful? Why the hell did they change it?

  • Have we killers really devolved into complaining about distortion? I guess I shouldn't be surprised with all the WOO complaints. I mean it's irrelevant when you have enough game sense to understand survivor movement. I play with no aura perks at all and haven't for a long time, I have a distortion user every match that gets absolutely no value from the perk.

I just wanted to agree that 2 combined together can be very strong. Pain res. can erase 1 gen worth of progress remotely and you can use Pop 12~ times. I don't know why you said "only" considering that's a big number in a game like DBD where matches and chases don't last that long. Unfortunately, I don't have any "nerf" suggestions since I'm not a fan of how BHVR handles nerfs.

You can't use pop and pain res together unless someone taps the gen and that's still not using them together meaning you can't proc pain and pop the same gen. Kind of like how you can't pop a gen that was just hit with surge. The problem with these perks arent what they do but the lack of game sense the survivors have. If you as a survivor tap a gen that was just hit with pain res and allow the killer to pop that gen then it's a survivor problem not a perk or killer problem. The last thing you want to do is take away a perk that encourages different hooks and chases.

Technically it is a 3rd party means of getting a competitive advantage- Same reasoning for why subtle hackers getting banned-

I mean theres a huge difference in comms and manipulating the games mechanics to walk, run, and generally do things faster ie cheating. Comms and subtle cheaters are not comparable.

  • @RpTheHotrod said:

They need to simply make people who get unhooked get shrouded by the entity so it has more time to play with them. During this time, the survivor is invisible to all players, cannot interact with anything, doesn't leave blood, has no player collision, and doesn't make noise. It would last about 5 seconds. Gives them plenty of time to vacate the area and lose the killer's track.

Naturally this would disable once all gens are completed.

That honestly not a bad idea 🤔

  • @Venusa said:

Pain Res + Pop is crazy together but I ain't gonna say nothing cuz I know forum killers are going to choke me...

I can't tell you how many times you have to re-do a single gen... 1 hook and we're almost back to %0 again... Ok.

Pain res and pop both require the killer to get downs to work and one can only work 4 times per match and pop can only work 12 twelve times per match just saying. What would you propose for a viable nerf or rework to both so that they remain healthy gen regess perks.

At least a few basic colours and 3 basic images could be fine.

Yeah I have a p100 also and have seen anything is completely empty. Buying chunky skins seems to be the only option for me atm

  • I feel like the balance of the game is heavy swayed with which ever side sweats the most. The problem is you never know who is sweating and who is chill until the match starts and it's too late by that point the sweat side will always conquer the chill side.

This is all clearly from personal experiences, I've been just loading into games with the sole purpose of practicing hatchets, some games are dead even and everyone is just chilling and vibing and others are let me bully this killer because they seem new and easy. Last I have matches where the survivors are clearly better than me and I'm ok with that.

I think a lot of the community lacks self reflection when it comes to losing on both sides.

While comms are an advantage they shouldn't be banned, some of my most intense fun games come from swfs. The better the coordination the better the team. For me there's no fun in stomping random solo q teams, I'd face only swfs if I could, if only for the sheer amount of skill and actual thought you have to put in to defeat them.

  • I'm a newbie of only a couple years, but instead of looking at like it took them 6 years to do this or that, why not relish in the fact that they're still bringing new content. They are still listening to the community sometimes lol, and if takes another year or two to perfect who cares because we're all still gonna be here playing this**** because for all it's problems it's still pretty awesome and unrivaled.

As a community if youask for transparency then you have to accept things aren't going to be perfect for everybody. As for Freddy and Myers yes they both need crazy help but do you want that help to be rushed or carefully thought out.

Give em time before you get the torches and pitch forks out. Yeah the games been out 6 years but were clearly not getting a dbd2. Some gaming communities been waiting ten or twenty years for their games to be remade or a sequel. As long as they're willing to put out content and give us a voice in the production of something that many of you have poured the last 6 years of you lives into. I'm not saying they're perfect or need to be praised but they are at least giving a little bit of damn about the game. As a community "DO BETTER"

  • They would always pick the furthest gen away. Just make the gen furthest away reset and take away the unnecessary interaction.

    Next will be info.

Give me an extra 200% bp and ill just run a no perk mode to make the survivors happy. 300% and no perks no addons

I already do this we are not the same lol

  • Well I'm most of my games tunneling occurs in 1 of 3 ways:

    1) the unhooker runs away immediately and hides leaving the injured alone, or the injured runs in front of said unhooker to burn basekit by.

    2) I have like 3 hooks at 2 gens or less, and I don't want to depip, or it's the best play at the moment.

3.) Ace/Nea has been teabagging and flashy clicking me for the last minute wanting chase, so I oblige and then assume he wants to be chased again off hook and then one more time just to be sure he's had his fun.

Those are usually how all my tunneling matches play out, I like winning as most people who play games do wether they want to admit it or not. I will always do the most logical thing but I'm not gonna sweat or mald over anything.

When I play survivor I understand why the killer tunnels if they're playing to win, I'm usually the worst looper on my team so I'm the first tunneled. That being said the more I get tunneled the better I've gotten at looping which is the #1 counter to tunneling. At the end of the day I don't expect anyone to make the game enjoyable for me in anyway, I expect the exact opposite.

Oh and to the OP every killer tunneling wouldn't make bhvr nerf tunneling, simply because every survivor isn't gonna be successfully tunneled, there will be survivors that guess what actually out loop the killer and make tunneling a punishing offense.

  • I just posted this same question. I was like maybe p8 huntress now I'm p21 just using iron maiden, my reticle is super small now like pen point small. I'd say you should use it if it helps you out, eventually you won't need it, because your muscle memory will know exactly where the center of the screen is. It doesn't help hit hatchets though as some have stated. It doesn't account for the travel time, the wonky collision in all 42 something maps, the little gaps and place you can sneak hatchets into, orbitals or anything else just where your center screen is thats it. Some elitist may shame you but who cares it's a damn game.

I play Huntress exclusively and I can tell you Hawkins makes me want to jump out of a window. Rooms on Hawkins are too small, so while there are some spots that you can thread, mostly your just a 110 M1 killer because you can't get proper angles to throw a hatchet unless the survivor is running in a straight line in a long hallway. Lery's and RPD are tied for my favorite indoor maps, what both maps lack in clear hatchet lineups they make up with threading potential, and pulling off sneaky shots survivors aren't expecting is so much fun and not to mention powerful. Blocking LOS isn't just counter play for Huntress, you can use it against survivors as well. Lery's Midwich, and RPD all have Orbital potential on top of this, and let's face it most people don't remember they also need to look up against Huntress on outdoor maps, even less know they need to look up on indoor maps. RPD is the best for orbitals, all outside gens and hooks can be hit with an Orbital and depending on which wing you're on one or both exit gates can be as well.

I guess long story short, indoor maps don't have to be game over. The best advice I can give is load up some custom matches on indoor maps and just throw hatchets at things. Is there a banister? Try throwing a hatchet through it. Window with boards or broken glass? Throw a hatchet. Hole in the wall? Weird gap in a loop? Hatchet. If you have a friend who will let you play target practice with them even better so you can take your time without the bots rushing you, and bonus if they have Huntress experience and know some of the shots on those maps.

Thanks for the tips bro much appreciated!! Ive just been throwing matches to get practice honestly lol

  • So let me understand this:

As killer if I tunnel successfully meaning winning the chase on the weakest looper of the team it takes no skill.

If I don't tunnel, cycle each survivor and 12 hook I do have skill.

If I chase the strong looper of the team and get a 1k I still have skill because at least I didn't tunnel.

    As survivor...

If I get tunneled out immediately my skill level isnt allowed to be in question because it's unfair and not fun

If I ran the killer and my team sucks they're allowed to cry about how tunneling sucks because in the 10 minutes I ran the killer they managed to do 2 gens and all die due to being terrible loopers after the killer finally beats me.

Tunneling isn't a win all everytime situation and it never will be guys we all are aware of that. Its like nurse and blight, while they are without a doubt the 2 most busted killers they aren't insta wins no matter what anyone says. What tunneling does do is make it easier for us to blame our own faults on (killers have similar things to use as well MFT, flashy saves, sabo squads, Gen goblins, resil, woo, ace breathing not being loud enough etc). If I loop the killer all game and I don't escape but my team does or doesn't I still won everyone knows it killer included, I don't need a badge to tell me.

Killers will tunnel because its only logical for players looking to win to weed out the weaker players unless you have confidence in yourself to weed out the strongest in which case the team just got outplayed anyway. There's also the flip side if I choose the strongest and they loop me forever then no amount of whining is gonna change the fact that they were better and you lost because of it.

3,7k hour non-huntress main gamer here, have always been considering using a crosshair for huntress and i finally did it after seeing this post, can confirm it doesn't magically make any player a god huntress, i'm still a trash huntress. verticality is still super hard but crosshair allows going for very long range shots you could most likely never hit otherwise. and no i played a bunch of huntress here and there and i could never be perfectly precise with my shots without a crosshair.

I've learned that as well in my testing. It helps with knowing the center of the screen but that about it, I still waste 3 hatchets at short loops because I didn't aim high enough, miss because I have no patience etc.

Another question though how do you guys handle maps like lerys and Hawkins? Are there maps that your just destined to lose on?

I still don't see the point in grinding to p100. If you happen to get there because you're using your favorite character, that's super duper terrific for all involved. It should be hidden because saying you play 8 hours per day isn't a flex to begin with.

So I have one p100 and it took about a year to get it I strictly played that killer aside from dailys, that was just playing causally. I've ran into some people here that have p100 in under 2 months. Point I think most people aren't playing 8 hours a day they're just playing when they can, it is in fact a huge deal for them to show off their p100 character. I mean just the sheer amount of time in the blood web alone is a feat on its own.

  • Please no more nerfs outside of maybe blights add ons. Of course good perks are gonna be picked by the majority because they are you guessed it good. Too many people are in the mindset of this perk got nerfed let's see what's next.

If windows gets nerfed then there's a huge problem in my fellow killer main community(I'm like 97% killer). It doesn't help you if you suck at looping and most sweat lords don't need it. Sprint burst and lithe are perks that require know how to use. If you sprint burst/lithe into a corner or bush it's not gonna help at all, I know I'm that survivor I can't loop to save my life literally.

Instead of crying for nerfs we should be advocating collectively for bugs and bs mechanics to be fixed. Once that's done maybe then look at balancing issues.

If they hide prestiges then there is literally no point to prestige. With the new profile changes they are doing what is next? Start hiding profile customizations because someone might have gotten one from being really good in chase? So we start hiding those too?

Beyond prestige 9 you as a player get nothing. So what is the point in earning prestige 100 if you can't show it off.

I agree. I was one of the people that got prestige hidden and I I thought I liked it at first but then I realized fast that I really like seeing the amount of time(not skill) people put into their characters. Which I mean I never dodge lobbies anyway so it didn't really effect me at all. I like going against the sweats and swf it's presents a real challenge, most have some form of coordination unlike solo q woes.

  • @FreddyVoorhees said:

Comms for swf are also not part of the game but external software and they use it since it is allowed. They do not feel they are cheating. Same way for cross hair. Use if it makes the game fun or less difficult for you. Given that dbd is casual and non competitive , it does not really matter.

I like this take, thanks I tend to forget that no matter how many sweats there are it's not comp

  • @FriendhausTTV said:

I think sub-4.6 killers for the most part are outdated. I agree with keeping him at this speedier pace. Slinger and nurse being slower I understand, but not huntress and trickster

If only huntress could be 4.6 dare I dream

  • I think the target depends on what your trying to accomplish. The p100 Élodie that found me and teabagged and clicked in order to get chased, I tend to show extreme attention just because they're usually the teams best looper and I love the practice. If I'm playing to tunnel I'm ignoring her and finding the baby Dwight that drops every god pallet before the first gen pops. The p100 ttv Meg that never touches a gen and just follows to get flashy saves or sabos hooks definitely is getting tunneled.

I never seek out the high prestige on purpose though.

  • So let me get this straight as a killer if I....

Stay near a hook to make the unhook as hard as possible that's toxic

If I trap you and your savior in basement and hit the savior and then wait your endurance out that's toxic

If I run any gen regression perks together it's immeasurably toxic

If I slug the two flashy survs while carrying you to the hook that's toxic

If I'm trapper the 2nd worst killer in the game arguably and trap you in the basent that's toxic

Ok I get it now I should run basekit Freddy, let you do gens, give flashlight and flash bang saves, walk in front of lockers for the head on value, never kick a gen that a survivor is actively working on, and injure but never down or hook so you can get bp.

  • @Xernoton said:

The thought is hilarious. Just imagine the baby survivors sitting on a table with the 10k hours Nurse mains and listening to their wisdom. The Bubba and Trapper mains would assemble in the basement, decorating and fortifying it. The pool would be surrounded by Dwight and Claudette mains as well as Trickster, Wraith, Huntress, Spirit and some of the remaining Trapper mains all showing of their bodies, that they no doubt worked their hardest to achieve with exercises like Jake lifts, Feng curls and David press.

The Blight and Billy mains would compete in a contest to find out who is actually faster, with the SM and Singularity mains monitoring the competition and analysing the data. The Pig mains could be found in a circle booping each others snoots. You'd recognise the Clown mains from anywhere by the devilish concoctions they mix and their laughter ringing through the halls. Don't come too close though! They are known to throw bottles at intruders.

The Wesker mains would do what they do best, throwing around one liners and staring at the Chris mains, making them more than a little uncomfortable. The Doctor mains would mingle with them and giggle at every single one of their jokes. No exceptions. I know, shocking. Demodoggo and Xenokitty mains could be found in most intellectual discussions, easily recognisable by their thoughtful nodding. Hag mains have their own area in the gardens where they would be seen drawing beautiful, meticulous pieces of art in the dirt. Some of the most evil survivor mains would be seen wiping away these drawings, only for all the Hag mains to surround them and hiss.

Every so often you may stumble upon a Myers main biding their time and staring at the survivor mains, but it's best to leave them to it. They may start slow but they'll be all the more active later. The Legion mains would mingle with the survivors and for the first time in their lives nobody would scream: "Imposter!" whenever they are around.

Oni and Plague mains would be the first to fall out of line. Oni mains tend to get aggressive when they are drunk while Plague mains... Well, let's just say I wouldn't want to be responsible for cleaning afterwards. Nemesis and Pyramid Head mains would argue about who has the worse addons. Until at one point the 2 Twins mains on this planet would chime in with their little brothers announcing their arrival.

Sadako mains would gather around the mansion's TVs and stare angrily at anyone who puts one of the tapes into the old video player. Needless to say, they'd cut all the signal beforehand, so the video players are the only way to actually watch any movies. The only movies available would have Nic Cage as the main actor.

In typical DBD fashion, we'd have lockers scattered throughout the mansion. Every so often you'd see a Dredge main coming out grabbing a huge plate piled up with food from the buffet, devour it all instantly and disappear again. At least until night falls...

Knight and Pinhead mains could be found arguing about who has more bugs with Chucky mains backing their arguments up with the occasional insult. The Ghostface and Nea mains could be found around a corner making fun of them and partaking in a squats competition.

Artist and Deathslinger mains would carry out an epic battle of ink crow shooting. The Adam mains would fit in perfectly with their tendencies to throw around pebbles. Nic Cage mains would steer clear of that area. The Freddy mains would be there for the afterparty of our dreams.

In the main room we'd have a set of huge thrones for our overlords, the mighty BHVR devs surrounded by their most loyal servants, mythical beings known as mods. The halls would be decorated with paintings of the finest memes like a hockey puck and a crying pig face with the words: "Nerf Pig".

Bro this truly made me smile the entire time. Bravo my friend bravo 👏🏾

I decided to p100 blight first because I was one of the few people who decided to main him at release despite the common opinion that he was terrible. It just made sense.

I’ve got more hours on blight than a lot of people have on DBD total. It took me about 1.5-2 months to p100 him…all of it done before the auto bloodweb :’)

I learned of new trick spots and blight parkour spots. I did a winstreak throughout the process of getting p100. Nothing has really changed, besides caring even less about winning. I just enjoy going for the spiciest lethal rushes possible, and I play rush only blight 95% of the time.

My brother in Christ how in the world did you p100 in 1 two months, did you no life that #########?

  • Hell yeah bro!!!!! Congrats I just joined two days ago. Nurse no perks or addons the entire way took me the exact same amount of time. Felt good now I'm doing iron maiden only huntress p100 run

  • I would say El-O-Dee but that's just me lol apparently it's eh-luh-dee

Coal tower has 132 titles, each title is 8x8m. The shack itself is 1 title. Each title can spawn a gym/loops... between those titles are titles that not spawn anything but obstacles

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/YCH7P8TSU9JH/image.png

You can see why they count TR and distance with multiplied of 8. When Trapper's TR starts, you know he's 4 titles away from you.

Bro that's pretty dope I didn't know this.

  • I mean the addons as they are now I feel are the most balanced they've ever been from when I started playing about 2 years ago and from what I've heard the vets say about times before that. Complaining about her add-ons isn't the way to go about it. She needs no addons as her basekit is more than enough to deal with most pubs. You should be advocating for a more punishing fatigue system or something like a matchbox base kit. I'm a p91 nurse that's currently doing no addons or perks until p100.

    Nurse.

Because she is the only killer capable of going against a team of survivors like hens/ayrun.

My brother in arms lol, how old is your nurse by the way, mine is 91

  • Killer: Nurse.. I know I should be shunned, but I love her lol. Followed by Freddy and Huntress.

    Surv: Adam, Ace and Steve
