That's the sole reason I immediately stop trying when an exit gate is opened. I don't go anywhere near that.

I can do without watching the 1.000.000th episode of "The Fog's Next Butt Dancer", thankyouverymuch.

Eventually they'll grow tired and just leave.

You wanna know something funny, if you run huntress you can orbital into most gates. So I just throw countless orbitals up and see how many I can hit it's become a sort of mini game for me at this point. Once they've been tapped or their mate has been tapped they don't stick around. I'm slowly correcting the problem on huntress at least lol

  • I usually don't ask for the forgiveness of the father but even the dark must come to light.

During the 2v8 reign me(huntress main) and my cohort(billy main) decided we would revel in the entities darkness and bath in the blood of survivors. We did not cage a single soul. We downed them and downed them and downed them again. Some begged for mercy while others just accepted their fate. We had a pile of squirming bodies at one point and did 360's on top of them. We only got 6/8 due to not being able to find the crawlers. It was the height of my cruelty, I learned that even the most vile have self reflection.

More recently on cold wind with my perkless huntress, I had a very cocky bill who teabagged me after every pallet stun, and pointed every single time another survivor got away. I was Perkless and just trying to vibe. I slowly felt the vile darkside of the entity creep into my being and the voices began to speak to me. "Don't chase bill, let him bask in the arrogance." "Don't let the others finish a gen." "Make them all suffer." "We will take care of you, we will avenge your embarrassment." After I went to hook Feng someone had pre dropped a flashbang and of course there was William teabagging away. I sighed and let the entity take over. His team mates paid the ultimate price for his sins, as I killed them all win a quickness I left 1 slugged so I could a bit of fun time with bill. I found him and proceeded to down him, I truly let my mind be taken by the evil and played with my kill. I picked him up so he could wiggle off and hunted him again and again and again until he bled out..… forgiveness may not be given to a soulless creature such as myself but at least your hope and good faith will shine slivers of light in this almost pitch black fog I traverse through.

how do you know you're in high mmr in the first place? no offense, I just don't get how people always assume they're high mmr on this forum

if you are, 2-3k on average sounds pretty good? if you're supposedly this good killer then you can expect to match up against good survivors? I wouldn't expect chill games if I was matching up against comp players consistently

I think to most people high MMR is the peak of their own skill level, that they can't surpass at a particular time. I don't take any mmr in this game serious as no one actually knows they're exact magical mmr number or even more loosely what bracket they reside in.

  • How is it killer sided.... If the perks are in fact random?

  • @GeneralV said:

    I think it is fun.

You must not depend on perks to play my friend, as I agree the mode is super fun!

  • @GeneralV said:

Hard to believe it is the same game that once looked like this:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/C3VCURBNF7G0/image.png

    Wish we still had it.

This is what the game needs to get back to as far as visual aesthetics. So erie and actually scary looking.

  • Sounds like hit validation to me, more of a ping issue(could be wrong). As a huntress main this sort of thing happens all the time with hatchets. Basically on your side you get the hit around cue blood and everything but on the survivors screen you whiffed, its kind of like a survivor throwing a pallet and going down in the same action. It happens and it sucks but it's a part of dbd. It sucks but it is what it is

  • @nam said:

I really geet mad. Again, I regret learning Huntress, I spent hundreds of times on her but she's just terrible, bad at pallet loop and lacks mobility, which makes her easy to counter, she is also not good at most maps, these learning times is totally not worth it, I should just go nurse or surv.

Why can survs play relax and easily with these OP perks and SWF? Why survs can choose their playstyle but killers can't? If you make a mistake then you should pay for it, why I should send my advantages? Why I have to hook? Do you know carry sending free half of gens? Why I can't tunnel? Do you know most killers have no teleport and survs are genning at the other side of the map? Do you know if I don't kill someone out it would always be rough for me? Why survs are spoiled bad with these unreasonable perks and they can plunder my advantage for free? Why survs never get hard control but I have to careful for pallets, DS, flashlights, flashbang, and gen bomb? How can you require me to keep clam after taking these hard controls?

Wait what!? I'm a avid huntress main and while some maps can be problems, I very rarely leave a match without at least a 2 k and play with no perks. In door maps you have to use gamesense as your biggest asset, until you learn where you can hit hatchets. Huntress needs no more buffs as of right now aside from 4.6ms( just kidding until hag gets it)

  • Lightborn...... I don't know what else to say

  • Bro tell me about it, I usually pay attention to the pathing to determine wether or not I'm gonna play serious or not. If they're pathing is atrocious I'll chase em most of the game to try and help them learn to loop. Like winning mind games but not hitting them etc. I've also learned that since cross prog those hours can be absolutely false.

Uhhh no. Superalf got around 1k winstreak. How many 4 man swf should he have encountered within those matches? Say 5-10%?

That's 50-100 times Superalf won essentially a coin toss that wasn't in his favour, according to you.

How about you flip a coin 50-100 times until you get all in a row? Let's see how long that takes :)

Tbf at that time nurse is not the same nurse that op lost to. You're talking about tunneling, hard camping, star struck, double recharge, double range nurse whose blink attacks were still coded as M1's that's why supaalf was able to do that nothing else. He recently tried his streak again and lost it nowhere near that amount.

Also alf and others are outliers meaning in pubs no matter what 90% of the base is going to lose to them. The same could be said for survivors like ayrun and alby, etc all would absolutely cook 90% of the killer player base but once again they are outliers. Dbd skills are like a bell curve where most fall into the middle/ average catergory.

She's just not very fun to play. Birding every loop to force holding w gameplay isn't exactly what I'm personally looking for when I decide which killer I want to play. It IS effective, but it bores me to death. It's the same with hag. She is quite good at killing but her playstyle is about as interesting as watching paint dry.

Hey Granny is fun, watching a good hag against good survivors is exciting. However those matches are rare

Hey folks! I posted this on Reddit, but I figured I'd include it here since I frequent this forum a lot as well.

I have been learning some different data visualization software lately, primarily Tableau Desktop, and opted to make a personal pet project to put those skills into use and better ingrain what I've learned so far.

To that end, I played 100 games of the new 2v8 mode during and around the free weekend, collected the data from each game, then made and connected a few interactive Tableau dashboards to better make sense of the data. I also included some basic insights of my own to add some flavor to the project as well as to give me an excuse to test out some new features I hadn't used before (show/hide buttons).

The project is hosted on Tableau's public site, linked below:
DBD 2v8 Mode Stats Tableau Dashboard

PS: Hover over text and charts for key takeaways points, and use the show/hide buttons to control the display of filters and insights.

    —

10 Fun Facts from the Data:

    1. Games are very snowbally, with almost everyone either dying or escaping with very little results inbetween
    2. Escape and win rates are almost exactly 50% for both sides
    3. If the lowest scoring teammate had at least 13,000 points, the survivors always won in the 100 recorded games
    4. Escapist has the highest pick rate among all 4 classes
    5. Guide has the highest win rate among all 4 classes
    6. Medic has the lowest pick rate among all 4 classes
    7. Medic has the lowest win rate among all 4 classes
    8. Team win rates are at their lowest if the team either does not have any medics, or has more than 2 (so 1-2 medics per team is ideal)
    9. The killer duo survivors won most against was Wraith + Nurse; whereas they had the lowest win rate vs Wraith + Huntress
    10. The map with the highest survivor win rate was The Thompson House; whereas the map with the lowest win rate for survivors was Suffocation Pit* followed by Disturbed Ward

*Suffocation Pit was bugged where some survivors could not be rescued, and I only got this map 3 games out of 100. That's why I felt the need to include Disturbed Ward as the runner up, since there's more data on that map.

    —

If anyone has feedback or questions on the data, my insights, or the dashboards in general, feel free to leave a comment! Always happy to try help and/or learn more myself. Otherwise, hope you have fun browsing the data and dashboards!

    Thanks for your time!

Awesome work bro!!! Interesting to see, I play primarily killer and with that huntress I dont know how many games I've played but with wraith we cook for sure 9/10 times. Nurse has been my worst mate but that because you can only make a select few mistakes with nurse in this mode. The snowball effect is super strong in this mode. These are the stats we need kudos to you

  • Man huntress really got y'all in the feels lol. Them hatchets hurt don't they

  • I feel like if your game sense isn't up to par on either side then you are more than likely gonna get cooked. For killer though I think too many have used to the ole I can always turn this 1v4 game around by tunneling or camping a surv and in this mode you simply can't do it. You have to play efficient and work together. It's def not survivor sided I mean me and a random billy 8k'd at 8 gens without any form of communication, the survivors just didn't understand the assignment. Next game I get a 2k with comms, it's literally just chaos and the best performer wins. It isn't meant to be balanced for either side imo

  • @HexHuntressThighs said:

Making it where you can play the same killers would probably help a lot. But might throw balance out the window. Huntress has the highest pick rate on average so it takes me 15-20 minutes on average as well to find a match.

This right here, I've done some simple test. For me huntress has the highest, followed by nurse, then billy, wraith, and trapper

Nurse’s map traversal speed is garbage now. A lot of people seem to forget that Nurse’s map traversal speed was very heavily dependent on the range and recharge addons…. and those have been removed from the game.

This right here! 3 blink nurse is not ideal ever due to the long af cool down each blink adds to the cool down as well as swinging. Don't get me wrong she's still op and s-class but she won't be the dominate queen she is in 1v4.

  • Hey hey hey y'all chill out with this billy vs nurse bs. Us nurse mains are loving the buff, sorry billy but to be fair insta down billy with anyone could end the game hella quick where as nurse still needs 2 hits no matter how quick those come.

  • They do not, they used to but they changed that after the double range starstruck nurse era

  • As a former nurse well kinda current every once in awhile, play her base kit with on add-ons for at least a few prestiges constant against actual survivors your gonna get your teeth kicked in for a bit but you'll arrive at the end of the tunnel shining.

Use customs to learn blink distances through objects like hay bales, cars trucks, jungle gyms etc not survivor movement or game sense.

Never use two blinks unless your sure your gonna land an attack. You can use both to traverse the map but in chase use them conservativetly, use your first blink as a chase blink ie: blinking to the last spot that you've seen whoever you were chasing. This is important because as survivors run a loop when they turn a corner most will double back predicting your gonna blink directly on them and it'll land you a hit.

Practice practice practice pallet distance blinks for whatever reason people still like to camp and use pallets which is a terrible idea.

Learn shotgun blinks which are short blinks that I use for the survivors that like to run into you as your blinking.

You can also use door frames to prevent accidentally blinking on to a lower or higher floor on maps like midwhich and the game.

You cannot blink through edge map corners ever on any map with them period ever.

You will accidentally blink into the basement just take that walk of shame up the steps and move on.

Be patient and work on improving your blinks as you perfect your blinks you will inevitably get more and more comfortable and losing won't happen as often if ever.

Lastly when you're learning blink distances I used a time method of 6 seconds no Mississippi to make determining distances easier.

As far as perks anything really nurse is a killer that you can really have fun with because she's well op . Addons heavy panting is nice, wooden horse is meh, catatonic is decent, and fragile is nice, bad mans is good for stealth. The rest are kind of memey. Hope this helps bro and good luck out there, people hate nurse so be ready for some crazy chat messages.

  • Ash no clue why though I've just always hated ashes. I also keep the slashy puppet on my hook charm to remind how much I hate ash.

  • I think the community in any video game is what you make of it. You're gonna always have people that want to play in ways that's aren't up to the standards of either side. The thing about DbD is that it's full of little micro communities within the larger communities. For instance you have your typical survivor main and killer main communities as a whole then within those you have these smaller niche communities who all find like minded people to vibe with.

The DbD community to me is awesome. I think there is a standard with how you should treat people overall especially outside the game, within the game it gets a bit murky as with anything competitive people want to win and there's always some one who wants to win more and this is where the toxic or standards drop. I think after the match is over everyone should let bygones be bygones and move on there's no honor is bad sportsmanship in any sport video game or whatever you choose. That's wishful thinking on my part for sure though.

I wish that we as a whole community had more say so in how the game was developed in the future which is a literal shot in the void I know but I feel the game would be in a much better place.

I'm fine as long as people stop acting like preventing it with mechanics is "pointless" and it is somehow related to game balance or something

Honestly, killers 8 hooking then letting people go is equally bad too, but at least they aren't the team and most survivors doesn't seems to care much when it happens

How would 8 hooking and allowing the survivors to leave bad?

I will usually let teams that I'm clearly better than escape because what's the point in steamrolling teams that couldn't offer a challenge?

As for dcs I'll let the best survivor live if any of team dcs or quits on hook early.

If we're equal in skill and no one gives up then I let no one escape as the game is fair may the best team win.

Thanks though the downside is when facing nurse it's those kinds of players who just play her and only her. Since players who like to taste a platter of killers might not play her often due to the fact she is well hard to master. I haven't played her since her tome because I don't want to basically get screwed over by MMR and well still its difficult to just get a hang of her blink since it can be a little grumpy you moved a little bit to rock so your not blinking past it. But yeah in the end I have trouble countering Nurse because I only get those players who just play her. I think faced a Nurse who seemed not new but weren't 100% with her so I figured out some stuff but that was a while ago.

Yeah that's true, at this point most nurses are semi competent. Being unpredictability is literally the only counter to a good nurse unfortunately that isn't even guaranteed.

  • @jamally093 said:

It's still the same problem she hits me before she appears on my screen so I can't properly counter. I know people say just wait for her to do the holding breath sound but that's a full blink there are times where she does smaller ones. Running towards doesn't do much and well I can't look both behind and infront me at the same time since either I go down or run right in to a wall. So I'm just really stumped on how to counter her when her power I won't lie messes with hit validation as the game has to figure out where she lands but on her screen she's already there and hits but then the server has to take that and send it to my screen so both happen at the same time.

So I mained nurse for a while, the best counter to nurse is never being out in the open obviously lol, when you go against a good nurse she's always gonna be thinking ahead. Shift W is a nurses worst nightmare as well as line of sight blockers. If she can't see you she has to guess where your gonna be. Most will blink at your last known location and follow up after that. They are also extremely good when they learn your habits so switch it up, one time maybe double back the next hold w. Other counters are things that you wouldnt know unless you played her. For example there are places and objects that she can't blink through and or that are really hard to consistently blink through. The edge map is another friend when facing nurse it's usually littered with fillers and los blockers. If you're on a two story map run towards her as she can't short blink or cancel her blink and if she tries to look down to shorten it she'll go through the floor, and if she looks up she'll travel far enough to give you some distance. Always be un predictable and never run a loop the same way twice. Bottom line is nurse is playing chess while all the other killers are playing checkers. A cracked nurse really has no counter outside of rushing gens separately while keeping her busy and making use of every bit of the time you have, even then it's a 50/50. As for the hit before appearing I would assume latency issues kind of like huntresses' hatchets hitting after you rounded a corner.

Hope this wall of ramble helps you and good luck!

  • @AmpersandUnderscore said:

Or just get rid of the lobby entirely, which would cut down on people lobby shopping. Let's be honest for a second, that's all this would do is cause killers to dodge anything they don't want to play against for easy games.

I'm not opposed to showing grouped players on the end game screen, though. That doesn't impact getting a game, and I think it would be eye opening to people who think they're up against 'sweaty 4 man SWF' every match they lose.

I definitely second this, I think survivors should be able to see each others perks and the killer should be able to switch anytime during the queue up. Instead of a lobby just keep the looking for match screen for all while allowing survivors to see each others perks. Lastly get rid of map offerings lol

I think the matches would be way more exciting as killer already gets this hidden prestige. Survivors can't see anything going into the match while killers can search your profile swap perks according to items seen and then dodge when you switch last minute.

It's not even comms what makes swf it's the fact you can get 4 good survivors to play together.

That is very true. However the communication aspect is good across the board wether it's 4 bad survivors or 4 awesome survivors. Being able to help each other out and know what you're team mates are actually planning to do/doing is everything. I love going against a good swf it test how well I can manage everything. Solo que wins are meh ATM but those good sweaty swf matches are so intense and fun for me at least.

  • Yeah it's not really that serious though, swf aren't escaping at a rate FAR above solo que and that's a literal fact. Playing against comms isn't some disadvantage my friend, of course they are more coordinated which is what the game truly requires when playing survivor, no one wants to play solo que where their teammates quit constantly, don't do gens, give up on first hook, etc.

The point is not every comm team is team eternal playing for a tournament. Most people just want to vibe out with their friends and not deal with the pains of solo que. Every once in a while you'll get a really good swf team that will mop the floor with you if you're not on top of your game and managing chases, overall pressure and gen defense properly. Those loses are skill issues and great learning sessions.

For the record I'm a killer main with 2.5k hours and only less than 100 or so on survivor. If you want easy games or bad survivors just say so, not being condescending but very genuine.

Lastly people want prestige hidden due to lobby shopping. Showing comms would not only be kind of impossible considering people don't even have to use their computer or game system to communicate so there's no way of showing or knowing but it'd cause lobby shopping to be way worse than it already is and no one wants that.

  • Huntress Main

    Perks: None

Addons: Shiny pin / Oak Haft

  • I don't know I really think that mmr is either really lax or off in the event queue. I've had sweat squads to people under 200 hours, for reference I have 2.5k hours

  • @Junylar said:

If your build is built around aura reading, one single perk actually just makes you perkless. What killer perk can do the same with whole survivor builds?

Bro that's the risk you take by brining an all aura build. Come on bro distortion isn't an unhealthy perk, but it does show the crazy reliance on aura perks for killers though. Before anyone tries to say anything Im a killer main( Huntress atm) with over 2.5k hours and only about 100 of those on survivor.

  • @Junylar said:

If survivors have one single perk that turns off half of killer perks, can we have the same for killers? Like a perk that keeps all survivors permanently exhausted or something? Without it being a hex, of course, since Distortion is not a boon either.

It doesn't turn off half of killer perks though. Not to be mean but If distortion is that oppressive for you then you probably should play perkless for a while to enhance your game sense. Survivors usually always make the same moves, heal in the same areas, like to run the same loops depending on the map. Distortion is a healthy perk that you can burn through the tokens usually and won't even bother you with proper game sense.

But mr peanits, nurse is only hard for very new players and players who can't overcome a skill floor of 20 games(being extremely generous as it was one or two for me in prime god validation dh meta). Her reward is far too high for how easy she is, same with spirit. As I said in my comment Blight, Oni, Wesker and Billy are you pinnacle it's a shame to use nurse as an example just because players pick her up for two games, fail and then quit.

I think the issue with nurse is that yes she's super oppressive but the key thing here is 'in the right hands". Not everyone will have the skill expression required to make her as oppressive as she can be. Also most survivors in the low to mid range dc and give up on first hook which doesn't help at all.

Just because a killer is easy for you doesn't mean they're easy to learn for everyone. There's a reason there's not a nurse every single match and she isn't in the top 10 of picks.

Even though nurse is a S tier killer she isnt as easy to play consistently as other weaker killers at low to mid levels and some high levels to a degree (depending on if the survivors know how to counter her and waste time). No matter what map you go to when playing Oni, wesker, billy, at the end of the day they all move at 4.6 and can fall back on being an M1 killer when the time calls for it, meaning if your terrible with their power but still a good M1 killer with good game sense you can still compete. With nurse you only have her power there's no other play style aside from making her 4.6 after a blink attack but no longer able to blink.

Balancing changes should be around the bulk of players which fall into the mid to low range, tbh most players have an inflated perception of where they fall when it comes to their level of skill. And no I'm not saying nurse needs a buff or that's she not the strongest in the least. She's just not the strongest in everyones hands as most people would suggest. At the top level most players have enough skill and game sense that most killers will be equally viable across the board.

  • @HexHuntressThighs said:

What did old hmt do? Hell I don't know what current hangman's does lol

  • As a huntress enjoyer I actually hate all the notification bubbles ngl, I wish you could toggle them on or off.

  • @Junylar said:

You didn't explain how they stop tunneling in this mode. You can play a perkless killer and still have your ez wins just by tunneling alone, which almost all killers do now at least since the 2nd day of the event.

This isn't all the way true. What you're implying isn't that simple(ggez). When going against not so good survivors then yeah tunneling will work 99% of the time but going against good survivors that will spread out crank gens in your face while their one teammate almost dies drops that significanly. This is a very simple look at it though. While tunneling is an extremely effective strategy(too effective sometiikes) it also requires game sense and super altruistic survs to win easily.

  • Gotta go with Huntress even though nurse was my first P100.

Huntress is so satisfying to play for me. Couple that with her lore and fits and I couldn't be happier. There's nothing more satisfying than hitting an orbital into a lob for the down.

Ive found that I don't even care about winning as the huntress as long as I can throw hatchets and get narly hits.

  • @Zer0 said:

So the devs recently released a $20 skin for huntress. It's a very nice skin with a nice mori. Glad she got some love. However after the initial sales they heavily nerfed that SPECIFIC SKIN for some reason making it super loud to play as and against now. I had to turn down my volume due to this as well.

If you're unhappy with the skin of a character then fix it before selling it. Don't sell it, then make it awful afterwards in a rug pull. I encourage everyone to NOT buy their expensive skins unless you want to be screwed over later. Don't give money to encourage this behavior.

My brother in Christ as a legit huntress main thank everything they finally did it. I literally bought the skin just for the change up in the lullaby and because it was awesome of course. That being said being told that I won because of a skin was beyond annoying match after match, playing against it the wind-up among other noises was super sus and that's a legit fact I can see why people are screaming p2w. If you think they pulled a rug from under you fixing a bug then I have no words for you

Played a game as Huntress earlier and I was not able to run around obstacles/rocks at the usual distance.

Projectiles were also eaten by unseen forces.

After that game, I played against a Leatherface and they had me at a loop but banged into nothing and went into tantrum…

Also an obscene amount of stuttering/dropped frames…

Is the game just broken right now?

Would also like add after playing an absurd amount of huntress, your hits don't register if you throw them through gaps. It'll show blood and you'll hear the hit but it won't register at all. I thought I was crazy when being looped around tiles I usually always win, and in the middle I'd run into something and lose chase altogether. Nice to know that I'm not crazy

The movement speed buffs she was supposed to get never went through. So she is back to being slower than Nurse/ Slowest killer in the game when holding a hatchet. But yes Shiny Pin is considered a god tier pick because being 85 instead of 77% helps out so much when it comes to high wall loops and smaller 50/50 loops. You can obviously still win without it so it’s not like it’s an absolute requirement but any good survivor will give you hell at certain loops when you are so slow, and they can force you to M1 far more often.

Ah ok that makes sense. Thanks for the response bro

but this is a fundamental problem with the game - you should never be close enough to the hook to be able to hit someone during their BT timer. Yeah face camping isn’t really a thing anymore, but it’s just been replaced by proxy camping and returning to the hook.

For example, both the unhooked and the unhooker getting hit by Leatherface or Pyramid Head when they follow you back to the hook when you go for the unhook.

All the killers that complain about body-blocking while tunneling really don’t get it. They should be pressuring gens, but choose the easy option of pressuring / swapping hooks pretty much everytime instead.

My brother in Christ if your not actively chasing someone and the unhook happens returning to the hook is literally the only logical choice, you have two out of the four survivors with one injured. The problem with returning to the hook is 99% of the time the unhooked gets left out to dry while no hook healthy meg sprint burst away or claud hides in some bush and Dwight hides in a locker. This would not work if the unhooker makes themselves the primary target after an unhook and can actually loop.

  • Alright ........ Well unfortunately you have to make your own fun, matches will never be fairly matched no matter how many hours you got. The mmr system in this game is just bad.

Now for killer when you get the easy games play around a bit, go for crazy mind games, bs until there's 2-3 gens left and then make a come back. For the swfities work own your basic skills these people are better than you take advantage of it. Get looped until you win not using blood lust though. If you get sweats dont play to win the match play to win chases, hit crazy m2's, win every shack chase. There's something to learn in every match I promise. Realize that some games your just not gonna win and accept it, it doesn't make you bad no matter what they say in egc.

Remember survivors have no other way to communicate with you. Those teabags when you get looped for 5 gens is warranted. It's Just trash talk like "yeah I looped you, get better." Treat it as a sport IF youre gonna take it serious. Any sport you play your opponent is gonna talk trash you as well as yourself it's not personal( egc is another beast). This toxic this toxic that BS who cares it's a pvp game talk your ish and let them talk theirs and settle it in the fog.

Lastly some people just suck, and that's putting it lightly. When I first started playing I got bullied, told crazy things and used to get mad as hell, then realized that some people just suck irl and that's all there is to it. Fast forward to now, I absolutely love the swf bully squads they're the most fun matches you'll have if you don't let them affect your vibes, it is easier said than done I get that. Which is why I used the methods above of going into the match with my own win goals and made sure I at least reached some if not all of "my" goal.

Hope it helps bro! Oh and don't let the fog taint your spirit

As Nurse, I've once landed right on top of the hatch and closed it.😋

The survivor learned a valuable lesson.

Yes! As a former nurse main this was always so satisfying especially when you know exactly where the hatch will spawn ( due to their own offering).

  • I agree here, when I do use add-ons I use spasmodic and matchbox to have some fun chases for a bit. I really wish they would re work her in some way where she had to gain her power in some way like collecting breaths or something and then get her teleport for a duration kind of like the Oni. It would be an overall nerf but she would still be interesting to play.

Huntress feels awful without Shiny Pin tbh, there’s a reason it has an insane pick rate. Also getting used to oak haft is awful. Nothing worse then hitting a survivor and watching them run towards you and then through you and then take a window all while you are spamming M1 only to end up hitting the window because the cooldown without oak haft is insane.

Is this true about shiny pin even after the buff? I'm only asking because I'm currently 81/100 of a no addon and iron maiden only run. Since I haven't used any add-ons I was wondering which ones were necessary and which ones were just meh.

  • I mean honestly on pc I hate egc, I used to like it when I was new but after you hit a certain point it's just used for toxicity. If I play 10 games win or lose in at least 8 of those I'm gonna get some negative comment. Lobby chat would be nice maybe, but then again then adding where we could just see other survivor's perks would be a better use of time.
