Came back after a year and god they made survivor even worse I saw the perks and the killer perks wow. They get speed boost wall hacks the pallets are not even good all of them are death traps some of the killers can get free hits with their abilities. Yeah Im done well time to go back to empire total war and gmod. I got to warn others to not touch this game also the game is so overpriced too like jesus I mean Ik back then it was worse.
so…. 20 bucks is too expensive when most games go for 70+?!?!?

Vaults are too quick and on top of it he has amazing mobility and free first hits.
Do you remember chucky's scamper? Kaneki's vaults are way stronger and yet not really nerfed.
yes but nerf it and it beomes useless like krasues "vault"
-
im gonna say a hot take that kaneki is fine now hes a solid A tier wich is where he should be as you cannot change him without making him awful to play as.
But the fact that we still have killers that are an instant loss bc you simply queued up as them is just… unacceptable in my opinion -

Exactly, you cannot balance the maps around Trapper, and expect it to work for every other killer in the roster.
my main issues with people asking nerfs to mobility killers is that why would you play pig who people just hold shift W from (aka the most unfun thing in dbd next to holding m1 on gens) when you can play ghoul or blight and zoom around the map like a dog on stuff

More pallets were needed in some maps. It was outright criminal how groaning storehouse could spawn all that debris in the middle with not a single pallet in sight between it. But this is also stupid. filler pallets should be an emergency resource when you don't have anywhere to run no more, not the main loopable structures. Just give us more normal jungle gyms instead of whatever the ######### we got last patch.
some maps have too strong of a main building to have "safe" tiles everywhere (see ormond) but then you have groaning storehouse where main is super strong against non mobility killers with random structures everywhere wich lead to dead ends…

it is inaccurate for sure as i have just over 900hrs through steam and it only says i have about 200-300 ish hours… (note i only had abt 60 before the time it said it wouldve started tracking)

I play both sides, and I can give answers for both.
Survivor:
Buff: An in-game chat wheel, that is easily accessible for both PC and console players. This will GREATLY help solo queue players, who can't co-ordinate with their team. - Similar to how pings work in games like PUBG and Counter-StrikeNerf: Reduce the strength of repair focused perks, and toolboxes. It is kinda crazy how you can do a generator in 30 seconds solo, with the right setup.
Killer:
Buff: Base-kit slowdown for unique hooking (10% regression or 10 second block on the gen with most progress) - This could also scale with the relative strength of the killer (mobility-based for example), so that a fast killer like Ghoul or Blight does not get the same effect as Trapper.Nerf: Tone down the strength of the stronger killers, to somewhere around the level of Wesker (who is a good benchmark of a decently strong, but fair to verse killer). Alternatively, removing or delaying the notification for unhooking will help a lot with combating tunneling.
id agree except on the wesker part as (imo) hes already outdated due to the current map design of dbd with pallets and clutter everywhere making his power basically useless half the time. I would like to see more killers in line of dracula or ghouls (raw power not traversal)

well if there is a map that needs more pallets adjustment is cornfield for sure, their pallets are really unsafe and most of the time u get a ghoul or something then u have to accept getting downed without any skill involved.
if coldwind were to get more pallets bhvr would have to do something to the corn as its way to difficult to track survivors through it and overal its more of an annoyance then a benefit…

@nikodemo said:
Look, the tunneling, the slugging, the camping.
If you want to stop this you're going to just have to bite the bullet and literally make them impossible.
That means:
- Basekit recover from slug
- No more Unhook notifications
- Entity moves survivor to another hook if they camp, just like the cages.
This is the ONLY way to resolve these issues.
Killers will not like this. I am a Killer main. But if this is what you want to achieve, and I understand why you would, I would suggest just do it, and then observe the impact and buff killers down the line as needed to compensate.
Please just rip off the bandaid at this point. You can't tweak your way out of this with overly complicated subsystems.
Just do it. We'll adapt. We always do.
then wed have to adress sabos/pallet saves/flashlight saves/body blocking/second chance perks/items etc too while were at it… aka dbd 2.0

I am just not interested in playing against him as long he can just fully cancel his dash whenever he wants. That just makes him super easy in my opinion.
Remove that so he is more open for missplays and survivors can try to double back, if they see he aimed his dash too close.
Or just increase his fatigue to Legion level, but that's worse option for everyone imo.
Kinda funny how you want his power to become better chase tool, while whole premise for free injury is having issue downing survivors…thing is this isnt possible bc of him not being able to down with his power. if he has to wait out for his power to fully deplete (if he hasnt used all leaps) then hes just a worse legion…

Pig buffs:
→ Increase amount of base RBT from 4 to 5
→ Increase search time from 12s to 15s
→ Decrease attach time to 1.5s
→ Increase ambush speed from 7.1m/s to 7.5m/s
→ Increase movespeed when charging ambush from 0m/s to 2.5m/s
→ Increase ambush duration from 2.3s to 2.5s
→ Ambush destroys dropped pallets
→ Increase movespeed when crouched from 4m/s to 4.4m/s
Pig nerfs:
→ Survivor gets buffer of trap timer paused while in chase for 20s
→ Hooking survivor with active RBT increase death timer by 20s
→ Pig loses collision with survivor when crouched and idle for more than 30s
id personnaly remove the buffer that you proposed or only change it to 10 seconds
and the hooking survivors increasing rbt timer just leads to a lose lose situation for the pig where the person with an rbt could just body block the killer knowing the rbt wil increase -

We all know it. Objects break pinhead's chains. The logic is already in the game.
Thus they could make Ghoul's power work the same way and this I don't understand.
Instead we get survivors frequently being injured from behind walls, it's frustrating and genuinely feels unfair to play against. (And that's on top of how unfair his kit feels in all the other ways).
yes but that same chain breaking makes pinhead useless on any map with clutter (toba as an example) + indoor maps. Ghoul is fine currently (perfectly at A tier where he should be) and il die on this hill if i have to

In DBD Mobile, the killer cannot see what items the survivors are carrying, just as the survivors cannot see which killer they will be playing against.
Why, even though the game has been around for nine years on PC/consoles, can the killer still see what items the survivors are carrying before the match?
I mean, why is this done in a one-sided and unfair way exclusively to please the killer?Either give survivors the opportunity to see which killer they will be playing against before the match starts, or remove it for everyone.
Stop babying the killers and serving them everything on a silver platter. They still complain that it's a “survivor-biased game.” Make everything equal, at least in the lobby before the match starts.
Seriously, in nine years, couldn't you have figured out that this is somehow unfair?
"babying killers" yet getting about 3 perks basekit isnt "babying"?

With the changes to Survivors, I do agree that it is Survivor sided, however, nurse and blight need to be dropped down from their s tier rank, bc they have been there for FAR too long, I believe ghoul is more A tier now, but the auto aim is till an issue that could be nerfed a bit but decrease the pallet token cooldown to compensate for it, and making it not possible to grab attack ppl that are behind corners or walls that shouldn't allow it at all, then ghoul would be a solid A tier with ways to counter it, unlike blight (who basically had the kaneki situation the entire time, being able break pallets and stuns and hook and immediately get back into another chance, and nurse who can do all this and not be burdened by pallets or corners)
issue with the anti wall thing is that he would be nigh unplayable on certain loops/maps (lerys as an example)

As person who study GD myself, I feel it’s a bad idea.
Devs aren’t supposed to play their game regular.
Devs aren’t supposed to be good in their game.
However.
I don’t see BHVR trying to understand what their game actually means. How it actually feels. How it supposed to be. And they are extremely neglectful about killer side experience, that’s why we see braindead killer mechanics and utter pressure on this role at the same time. They don’t hide they are biased in this term even.
I don’t see… actual set up? I just feel their managers doing great job in catching another franchise to make a fast released product. But the overall picture is blurred. They try to satisfy people, but they keep doing decisions that provide temporary effect or causing frustration from other side. Or instead of listening people and taking it to account, they either doing sth completely opposite, or just blindly following it.Forcing them playing game aren’t gonna solve it. They should change the way they gather data and testing from Q&A team. PTBs are also outdated and don’t help a lot. They need much more narrow pull of players, who are interested in actual testing ( not just trying new content), yet these people need to be ready post clear feedback for dev team and audience. While PTB should work as system for bug reporting only. Yes, PTB is lack of bureaucracy for me. It would be much more better, if say, they chose 500 players and actually tried to follow their opinion.
what we need is shorter but more ptbs in total. since to test things its best to trial and error things like anti-x feature instead of oh its here now "test" it and if you dont like it well uhhh come back to you in 3 ish months and try again

Exactly that! Ghoul's powered vault is no different to Legion' or Wesker's powered vaults (And Victor to a degree as he can leap over palltes). But suddenly it's an issue only for Ghoul and Chuckey? All because survivors lose their precious frames from their vaulting perks, because the killers have built-in antiloop.
Seriously, it's like four killers who can vault pallets while their power is up. It's quite literally a nothing burger, compared to the killers who can hit survivors over pallets and short walls, aka Artist, Trickster, Huntress, Xeno, Slinger, Doctor, Unknown, Karasu, Springtrap, Vecna, Singularity, Nemmy, Dracula, Pyramid Head, Pinhead, Plague, Clown and Nurse.
So in comparison to other killers, with frankly more BS mechanics, killers being able to vault in power or having a powered vault as part of antiloop is the least problematic thing about them as a whole.
and half the time the scamper doesnt even work bc of the built in slowdown the killer gets after vaulting said pallet and loop size… Increase the time it takes to vault it and it becomes usless (like weskers vault)

Doom would come with a problem. Doom slayer himself is the only "main" character of the series and theyve went from him being just another marine trying to survive from demons - to the almighty chuck norris of shooting games who wouldnt lose to the entire killer roster barehanded all at once. And since hes too powerful to make as a wimpy survivor, not adding him would have half the doom fans going "wheres doomguy?" So horror wise the game fits in dbd, but lorewise it goes a little too far to fit into dbd. Also every major enemy of his would have to be shrunk down to like 1/2 or 1/4 size and most of them just shoot guns or fireballs. Not saying i wouldnt want doom in i just mean itd be very tough to fit into dbd
they could use the mark of negation on him. (doomguy/doomslayer) and i can easily see the marauder or a baron of hell work. Maybe an archvile skin for knight or an IMP (with fireball and movement as power)

Many of the things changed in recent patches all lead to the same outcome - weaker killers getting punished, driving Killer players to play characters which are viable - Nurse, for example. Pinhead was supposed to get a buff before his license got revoked, and the PTB features a change that will completely destroy his ability to even use his power by making Survivors with Endurance invincible.
Pallet density changes that only impact lower-tier Killers that actually have to bother with pallets, long-lasting protections Nurses don't give a ######### about while Onryo has to jog around for a minute and a half before even getting close to the Survivor.
Bugs that remain "acknowledged" by the developers in forum and Reddit posts alike, which somehow never make the bug fixes page in the patch notes.
And the Survivors you play against as a low-tier Killer. Jesus Christ. Have a particularly rough match and Survivors will do everything in their power to make you feel miserable, but then complain when they only face Nurses and Blights.
Come on. I want to play more different Killers than I feel like I can now. Where are the Pinhead buffs that were promised, where are the fixes that Houndmaster so desperately needs, where is the real QoL The Skull Merchant was promised?
Ive switched from pig to ghoul and jesus the amount of fun im having again is insane! I can finnaly keep up with the gen speeds the second chances etc... i hate to say it but i dont think il return to "m1" killers till the pace of gameplay changes drasticly

Exactly. Its an exploitable non counterable mechanic. BHVR watch all the videos there. The proof is right there it needs addressed. Don't listen to these killer mains who just want matches to be miserable for survivors. Slugging at 5 gens=guaranteed win.

How are you supposed to know when a killer is going to slug though? You shouldn't have to bring conviction and soulguard for example every match in fear of slugging being abused. Either we need less time than 120 seconds being grounded, a comm system installed or these perks that counter slugging buffed.
issue is slugging is needed half of the time due to things survivors bring or they play a lower killer/need pressure

I’m agree with this, but it doesn’t cancel the fact that we have both killer with good mobility yet still have braindead meta on survivors as well with which other non mobile killers deal with
Ghoul was nerfed now… both his hinder timer and kidnap tech. Considering current pallet density he is just a simple yet strong killer, but still hated on some level of Nurse or Blight. Which I’ll never understand and not gonna do. And no, I’m not saying it from killer perspective, I never even bought his DLC lol because I despise his design approach. Just feel hate toward him is extremely overhyped now and the only excuse I can find is just because he is taking off the same strong and simple play from survivors and expose you in need to actually loop this killer. Which if being honest, people barely can do
It doesn’t cancel the fact he is overtuned tho, I’m not telling this. But this level of hate he receives never stopped to amuse me. Both him and Krasue just showing what happens when you take simple and casual approach on survivors in mind for killers as well. It was a story of heavy backfire for me since their day 1st of release
This is why in my opinion ghoul should just be left alone. Dbd needs killers that are accesable and strong

Until slugging a tactics that can sway an entire match is nerfed i don't even want to hear about gen rush. Not this 120 second thing either. That is simply too long to be down. 90 seconds every time you're slugged you should pick yourself up. Survivors deserve a chance if killers are bypassing the 3 hook states survivors are supposed to get.
Alright then gens should automaticly block when the killer has sub 6 hookstates at 2 gens...

Right so you just admitted you don't know what your talking about and only care about your side and your fun. Ghoul is problematic and we'll continue to give feedback so he'll be adjusted to be more fair and tolerable
"Feedback" as in wah wah free hit wah wah body blocking
Or
"Feedback" as in tune cooldowns and hitboxes?
Either way DO NOT touch his mid grapple cooldown otherwise he cannot do anything in loops besides pallets as the grapple into body block requires #1 an addon and #2 good prediction and timing both of wich can be countered.

stop trying to get killers nerfed. All they have to do is buff weak killers imagine the kill rates if blight and nurse didn’t exist.
people forget that nurse/blight/ghoul are a necessary evil bc without em survivors could just win any game if they bring second chance perks (wich bhvr seems to promote. slowly looks at the 9.3.0 ptb)

No we need per killer tutorials to players know what to expect when facing such killers (like a tips and tricks trial for both sides)

After maining pig for a few years ive since switched to ghoul and godamn has the game become more fun because of it. Why? Simple he can keep up with the pace of the game AND hes fun to play bc of his mobility and consequently map pressure.
Is he annoying to go against? Yes yes he is but with the pallet density changes hes become more managable since you can pre drop them for days so unless he uses the pallet vault hes fine to deal with in my opinion.
Id even be fine with them removing that aspect of his kit. The only "vault" id keep is the window vault since that makes him playable on certain tiles like shack and mothers dwellings main (not that mothers dwelling doesnt have a million pallets to begin with but i digress).
Wil i ever return to pig? Unless bhvr massivly helps killers without mobility then probably not

Eliminating crutches and removing support for poor gameplay is not a negative change. In fact, the gameplay elements being targeted are largely ineffective against competent survivors and these changes primarily exist to allow casual players to, you know, play the game.
On the killer side, many players are artificially elevated beyond their actual skill level through the use of such tactics, often combined with low-risk, high-reward killer choices. And on the survivor side, some players adopt overly passive “ratting” strategies, contributing little to team progress and relying on others to complete objectives or die first.
Neither of these playstyles is healthy, skillful, or deserving of preservation within the game’s ecosystem.
Then its only fair to remove second chances and body blocking. But we both know that wont happen

I am getting fatigued in playing nemesis from his complete lack of mobility. Zombies SOMETIMES make up for that weakness in gen pressure, but it gets really old being countered by W and lithe or sprint burst
doesnt help that mindbreaker is kill switched so we literally have 0 counter to it….
-
The only time im going afk is when i know a game is lost and i dont want to prolong it anymore. (example: 1-2 gens with only 1-2 hooks) atp i just stand at the exit gate open it and sit in basement
-
what about pallets that break after a certain amount of time. like fragile pallets but they stay put for like 1-2 seconds or so and then they break. It gives options to loop it like normal if needed and they break fast enough to not be "pre-droppable"
-
and it doesnt help that kicking gens without perks for it just doesnt work… 5% and then regressing at 0.25% is just unacceptable in modern dbd (it gets repaired by 1% per second…) especially with the 8 kick limit. Killers just do not have the tools to create more time hence the constant tunneling and slugging to generate a form of pressure you cannot otherwise create
-
I would change a few things about springtrap
#1 Reduce the time you cannot interact with an item after throwing/missing the axe. (Ie if you miss at shack you simply lose the chase since your locked out of vaulting etc for a solid 2-3 seconds)
#2 make his terror radius slowly lower until undetectable (survivors can make it go back via cams)
#3 cams should only be able to be used WITHIN the office
#4 fix the grab prompt. Ive had multiple times where it just scams me bc the prompt is gone for a few miliseconds. Resulting in a baby lunge meaning i lose valuable time
#5 make him 4.6ms in my opinion his axe does not warrant 4.4ms regardless of if he has his axe in his inventory.

remove collision after unhook. Killer will ignore the DS player everytime to chase the rescuer, or maybe even ignore unhooks. Unhook notifications should be gone now too. Killers have too much mobility to need that information.
ig pig is just screwed right? or is your biased opinion only accounting for A-S tier killers? also its not about the killer igonring the player its the DS'd survivor going inside the rescuer making the m1 go after the survivor without collision… (wich is why is was removed from the last ptb)

It doesn't really solve the problem, though. Firstly because most totems are in tiles, so you're closer than 12m when you come across them anyway. But also because the issue is that without Thrill of the Hunt, they're way too delicate, which having to search a few extra seconds to find the totem in the first place doesn't rectify.
Totems need a small guarantee of value - stack-based totems shouldn't light until they have a stack, and totems active from second one should lock until the earlygame is through, as a simple solution.
Then you can slightly tune down Thrill to ease the fact that it's currently weighing down how strong you can make totems because the difference with and without Thrill is night and day.
what if hexes were blocked till like 2-3 gens remain? so the killer has time to "setup"

Thats not right.
A Killer can´t regress a completed gen and a survivor can´t regress a lost hook stage.
A Killer can only regress a non completed gen like a survivor who can regress the chase by healing up.
Edit: You could go even further with my analogy.
Hitting a Survivor with a M1 is like hitting a skill check on a gen.
IF you manage to do so you progress your objective, if you miss it you will need longer to do it.
to add onto the gen regression base gen regression is TERRRRIBLE it counts down at 0.25 "ticks" per second. A survivor repairs at 1 "tick" per second wich means a gen has be left alone for 4 seconds to regress 1 tick meaning 4x80 (not 90 since then it would be ccompleted and this leaves room for error) 320 seconds of uninterupted regression wich.. never happens… sure you can say oh the kick itself regresses it 5 "ticks"/seconds yeah that those 5 seconds truly wil do allot (and since it can only happen 8 times it doesnt mean squat 5x8 wich is 40) and this doesnt even help a killer this only "resets" the progression a survivor would have applied to the regressing gen

from my experience it is as follows:
Killer: you have to perform if you want a fun experience otherwise you WIL get tbagged and bullied + survivors WIL stretch out the egc timer
survivor: you are allowed to goof off with perks like scene partner et you can allow for mistakes since you have that failsafe of multiple hookstates.so all in all killer is MUCH more stressfull since your the one to blame your the only one making the mistake and 4 people wil judge you for it. You have to bring perks that are good/great otherwise its a waste of a slot you cannot bring perks like shattered hope or perks on the weaker end since you cannot afford to do so bc gen speeds are flying. You need atleast 1-2 gen regression 1-2 chase perks and some hybrid perks are things like noed or no way out

Id say contact support to be sure so you have a form of proof of thek accepting it
