    Hello,

Sorry if this was suggested before, but a lot of people on the official discord seemed to think it was a good idea so here I am.

    Current No Mither:

You are affected by the Broken Status Effect for the duration of the Trial. Your Thick blood coagulates practically instantly.

    - You don't leave pools of Blood.

    - Grunt of pain caused by injuries are reduced by 0/25/50% at any time.

    - Grants the ability to fully recover from the Dying State.

Suggestion - Add this to it:

    - Your exhaustion recovery cannot be paused.

Basically you would also recover from exhaustion while running.

This small change would give No Mither much more potential to for greatness as it would synergize with a lot more perks (i.e. all exhaustion perks). A good player could make great use of it, but one mistake would still be extremely costly.

Currently No Mither does not synegize well enough with injured perks to be worth running 99.9% of the time. I feel like this is a neat way to buff No Mither so that it is not considered a "troll" perk anymore.

    Cheers

    Agreed except:

    Exhaustion is no longer paused

Exhaustion time is only 30 seconds long

    Crying/grunts are reduced by 100%

    Broken for whole match ha

    no blood

    Can recover all the way

BECAUSE 1 healthstate vs stealth killers is wack so I think they should have a constant defense. combos good with dead hard especially which is good because perks should synergize with the character.

I'm always seeing survivor and killer mains complaining about how one side is too OP or too weak but don't both sides have their pros and cons. Doesn't everything have a counter? I think the game is balanced IMO. I'm a survivor main that's in the range of rank 2-4 and around 70% of the time I don't survive. The only thing that should be fixed is the ranking and matchmaking. What do you guys think?

Its not that survivors are a problem its that survive with friends are.

Look at yourself, having fun, dying some rounds, sometimes pissed at teammates.

SWF literally prove that you can goof off and win vs even the strongest killers and its bs.

Most of the time survivors leave gens or get caught on purpose because gens are so boring and chases are fun and cannot tell their survivor teammates that they are in a chase. WELL swf literally sit on gens and just get through them so fkn quick because they can tell eachother that they are in chases and need to work. As for survivors: spirit is REALLY strong and "camping tunneling is annoying wah" and NOED OP OMG...

I agree with all of it except noed being op but its the killers playstyle regardless of if it sucks and theres hardly any face camping and tunneling in rank 1.

Maybe, but remember the MAIN REASON (not counting Exploits) that people hated Old Legion was they put the chase on a "Timer". Having a lethal power that you can just control and over take Survivors would be kinda broken. We don't want to buff Legion up so much that they are the RULER OVER ALL! MUAHAHAHA.... sorry, got caught up in that. Anyway, we want it balanced on both sides, so that it's not overwhelming, but not so weak that they are underwhelming. So far I enjoy @MongByeolBuddies 's Idea for Mob Mentality, with his changes that we discussed with MFD or the change that @pemberley added to it with the Legion member grabbing the survivor instead.

Oh or @Kabu 's idea for more and more bonus to Legion as they hit people in FF. That really had a good mental image of a blood crazed Killer getting more and more worked up the more they slashed people.

I realized it was OP so there is a 30 second cooldown for frenzy AND it can only be used once per killer transition.

So if you use it and wait 30 seconds, you still cannot use it until you switch killers and even then you can only use it from a locker. As legion you could jump into a locker to activate it but only once per switch as in you have to switch to use it again so its a huge threat but not used too often. Survivors would be scared of lockers and you could position your killer locations at strategic lockers near gens.

Hmm... i think survivor, just cause Swf... but yea. It would be hard for either side to mess with it, other than leading the Killer off and sneaking in... but that's just a tactic.

Curious why this would buff Wraith.

Well survivors have to walk when carrying the gas so they will ultimately take longer than the current 80 seconds to complete a gen regardless. A smart killer would know when a survivor is leading the killer away and would be cautious of sneaky survivors. Kinda makes jakes perks more useful as well.

A killer could just juggle the survivors til the gen restarts if they are trying to be toxic and take a bunch of hits.

Wraith would be buffed because If he catches a gas carrying survivor, he would get a free hit because the drop animation is slow. He could basically just walk through the outer edges of maps and get kills.

Also as a killer, if a gen is repaired and you get the notification then you could choose to go to gen or go to crate which is a whole different thing to think about and would be super interesting as and against killer. Especially vs stealth killers. You wouldnt know which direction they were headed.

IT SHOULDNT MATTER IF YOU CLEANSE OR NOT. Then youre broken the whole match and a one hit down damned if you do damned if you dont she needs balanced. ######### is OP as #########

Definetly not op. All the high rank players simply dont cleanse and then yes they are injured BUT she has no way of catching you unless there are no pallets.

If she was OP then people would actually play her.

Ah yes, sorry. Rush Down, as i refer to Legion's play style at least, is that feeling of chasing the survivor down and slashing them, going after them all and ganking them. That speed and the "panic" it makes is one of my favorite things about Legion. The "Oh i'm gonna get you now!" of chasing them down. It's honestly the MAIN reason I love Legion.

Your idea is lovely, don't get me wrong, but I can't support it cause of the FF being 10 seconds and the playstyle that I, and it seems alot of Legion mains, enjoy is absent.

I feel like getting an actual hit (no deep wound) would be sexier as a player because you can down them in 2 hits with hardly any time between the hits AND can go for someone else. Maybe adding an extra 2 seconds per down would be good then? just a little more time if the survivors arent careful?

  • @UlvenDagoth said:

This seems pretty complex! Let me think a minute on feed back...

I like this idea over all, but I feel like there might be a few things in it that would break the gameplay. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something in here feels exploitable. I wish I could tell you what, and I'll keep thinking on it. I know the poor Killer would walk his shoes off keeping up with all that for sure. Hmm... honestly what impresses me the most about this idea is how creatively it's worked around the lore.

I think the main thing wrong with this is that the Devs likely wouldn't implement it. I'll give some mroe thought and get back to you with more.

The only exploitable things I could think of were:

Camping boxes (But I made the distance between them pretty fair)

And survivors leaving gens at the completion phase in which I corrected it so it would reset after 3 minutes which is a long time.

Do you see it as exploitable for killer more or survivor because I see it more torwards killer but obviously if devs did it, they could adjust the white crate distances. The concept is mostly there to explain that survivors should also be punished for large maps bc killers are. And honestly this would super buff wraith to where he wouldnt even need a rework.

Though reading this, i'm not really sure i'd like this. It kinda removes alot of the playstyle I like from Legion, and would be a hassle to keep up with. The Rushdown would be gone, and that would break my heart.

what do you mean rushdown? hit after hit?

  • For each first hook on any survivor you gain a token up to 4 total. For each token you gain, Bleed out times on struggle hooks are decreased by 5 seconds.

This means campers dont get it. This means tunnlers dont get it. This means it is most efficient if you hook all survivors once each before putting any of them into struggle phase so they all have less time.

If you have any more ideas I urge you to toss them into my Legion Rework thread so the Devs can see ALL the lovely Ideas at once!

Since we are self advertising I would Like you to check out my Generator rework concept and give me feedback XD

  • @WickedMilk03 said:

Legion is not that fun kind of so here was the idea I came up with after being inspired by a fellow in the forums. And lets be honest... Is it really a legion when there is only 1 killer in the match? Is it really a torment creek without a creek? NO

    This Changes his whole ability:

    • You spawn in and hidden killers are highlighted in yellow
    • You can switch between them by hiding in a locker
    • Whenever you get in a locker you aim toward the direction of the one you wish to take over and your previous character would then be in the locker that you placed yourself in.
    • Feral frenzy activates whenever you jump out of the locker, you run fast and your hits deal damage but it only lasts 10 seconds. The stats for feral frenzy would remain the same (vaulting, speed)
    • You can choose when to jump out of the locker after you port.
    • There would be no cooldown on transportation
    • Feral frenzy would have a cooldown of 30 seconds.
    • Once feral frenzy is used on one character, it cannot be used again until you switch between characters. (As if they were exhausted)
    • Feral frenzy is activated from inside a locker ONLY.
    • If the feral frenzy cooldown is not complete, you will jump out of the locker as a basic m1 killer.
    • It takes 2 seconds to enter a locker
    • The distance between the characters you choose dictates how long it takes to teleport between them
    • If a survivor attempts to enter an occupied locker, The legion will pop out and one hit down them and enter the locker again (a new animation for this would need to be implemented) After they are downed, the feral frenzy goes into cooldown.

Would this be OP. no. Would this be top tier, probably. Would this be fun for both sides? IT SOUNDS FUN. IMAGINE YOURE RUNNING AWAY FROM ONE GUY THEN HE DISAPPEARS AND YOU SEE ANOTHER KILLER OFF IN THE DISTANCE CHASING SOMEONE AS IF THERE IS A LEGION. I love the inspiration. I feel like he would be a sort of map pressure trapper in that feral frenzy is big now but you would have to plan it out.

NOTE TO DEVS IN REGARDS TO COSMETICS: There would be 2 male and 2 female with the basic outfits but you could buy all of them and make the real legion by buying those outfits. Simple solution

Can you leave plague how she is but make it so that when we cleanse it doesn't highlight the fountains you cleanse at so then she actually has to look for it? still keep the sound notification that we cleansed but dont highlight it for her. The plague is already so overpowered with the vomit and marking everything the taking away of the fountain highlight would balance her.

Or just dont cleanse at all

This is the third and final killer perk for the chapter idea that I will be writing for the future. I would like some feedback before I write the full post.

You love being the center of attention.

Hooking a Survivor reveals your Aura to all Survivors for 4 seconds.

Any time your Aura is revealed, all Windows and vault locations are blocked for the next 30 seconds. Afterwards, this perk goes on cooldown for 60/45/30 seconds.

    Feedback is appreciated!

I like this because it punishes survivors that thirst for info

If a survivor gets a gen to 60% and you get DSd that couldn't be any less than your own fault. Given that it probably took them 5-10 seconds to reach the gen from the hook you literally just have to wait like 10 seconds before picking them up or pulling them out the locker and you get a free hook.

60% of a gen = 48 seconds + time it took to run from hook to gen. Assuming it took them ONLY 5 seconds to reach the gen (were hooked right next to it) then you literally just have to wait 7 seconds before grabbing them out the locker.

I can tell you from experience it usually takes more than 5 seconds to reach the gen. Even 10 is pretty damn quick.

There are more than one gen. no time to wait. time is SO precious as a killer

  • @BlueFang said:

Man I do so in freaking enjoy not being able to slug a recently hooked survivor that is openly and boldly doing a gen in my face because they ran into the locker right next to them thus forcing me to eat a 5 second stun while they run away and I lose time and all manner of pressure because of one stupid freaking perk

But I tunnel so I clearly deserved it

    T O T A L L Y

Survivors like always found a way to adapt and abuse game mechanics ha

  • @Zol_Grimm said:

You could have 4 separate killers, 3 hiding in the cupboards and 1 you control. Basically you can switch control by entering a closet allowing you to switch to one of the inactive killers (similar in nature to a demigorgon teleport but you have to have positioned the legion), and if a survivor opens a closet with a legion inside it restrains them until you go collect them, they wiggle free or a survivor frees them (similar in essence to trapper's traps).

Largely his/her kit could remain the same, but i think with proper usage this could give legion better map presence and pressure, while making closet use a bit more risky, plus i think it fits the we are legion underlying story.

Just a rough idea but let me know what you think peeps.

Bro this is the same rework as mine except I made frenzy changes. Check it out. I love this idea and I am glad people like it

Funny when the devs said killers should not be getting 4ks every match they said the average should be about 2k

Funny because the devs suck at balancing the game.

  • Ghostface is strong without stalking. Trapper is decent but really annoying and needs quality of life changes.

  • @Xboned said:

It really is a different world.

People always say "play both so you can see both sides", there is some merit to that. I feel like I can understand some of the survivor rage a bit better. I can see firsthand how annoying camping is, how frustrating bad/selfish teammates are, and why certain killers suck to face.

It's interesting how my attitude changes. As killer, I am SO SICK OF LOOPING AND PALLETS. It's not fun to run in circles around waist-high obstacles or eat pallet after pallet after pallet. As survivor, I feel like a boss every time I loop the killer for more than a few seconds. My attitude about pallets goes from "I hate these and wish they were removed" to "TASTE THE WOOD!"

I also find it much more relaxing and enjoyable to play, for the most part. Doing gens and totems is downright peaceful compared to the stress of "must be hunting every moment, can't waste a single second". The most frustrating thing, honestly, is teammates who DC at the drop of a hat. Knowing the game will be that much harder, the dread of a slow attrition loss.

I also get why survivors hate NOED so much now. Escaping is worth so many BP, and survivor side is definitely short on those compared to killer (why?), so doing everything right, risking death multiple times to rescue teammates and do gens right under a killer's nose, just to be tagged and insta-downed right at the end is... pretty lame, I have to say.

I played about half a dozen games of survivor, solo, only escaped once. Still had a lot of fun, though. Rank 19-20.

Played 1 game of killer afterward. Stressful, annoying. First time I've ever DCed in a match. Rank 7. I have no desire to go back and play until rank reset. Even then, I'm not sure.

While I feel like I'm beginning to run out of steam for this game in general, I definitely had way more fun playing survivor than killer. I'm not ready to declare myself a survivor main just yet, but it's nice to be on the other side of the pallet for a change.

Anyone who got through the wall of text and has advice for a newbie survivor is welcome to share it. I've been playing David King so far, mostly for WGLF and Dead Hard.

When you get high in ranks you hardly have any camping

  • @BloodyBunny said:

Im curious what is your worst killer to play as and whats your reason for me its the nurse im not good at the the blinks and she gives me a bit of a headache whenever i play her but what about you

wraith because he is dogshit, leatherface because he is dogshit, then trapper because he is annoying and underpowered, then doctor because he is annoying but underpowered, then ghostface because his stalk is useless against actual good players... you know, the players the game should be balanced around?

  • @Nyxis_Fier said:

So survivors should get nerfed to the ground, making the game completely unfair? What will happen when there's no longer survivors to play because the killers are all op with perks and attacks?

Sadly survivors were trained to believe they should win every game. As the power role, THE KILLER should get 2-4 kills most matches. If only the game didnt release the way it did.

  • @Faceless said:

Her phase walk can't be heard over short distances and this makes her practically impossible to loop since you don't see her.

This is too annoying. I always ask people if they can hear and they say yes, but in my game I can only hear her if she is far away. When she's near it's almost impossible to hear her

    looping is annoying mate...

Unhook 15 Survivors (enjoy being farmed)

Go through 4 health states in a single trial (enjoy everyone running medkits)

Sacrifice 4 Survivors in the Basement in a single trial (enjoy getting basement camped)

Sacrifice 2 Survivors during the End Game Collapse using NOED (have fun seeing NOED every match)

Sacrifice 3 Survivors during the End Game Collapse (have fun seeing NOED every match)

Interrupt (grab) 4 survivors (enjoy Prayer Beads & Scratched Mirror)

Those are just a handful that we know of for sure. Most of those aren't even 4th level. So prepare your anus.

2 endgame ones are a bit excessive and i have bad teammates all the time so being farmed isnt too much of an issue. we'll see how it goes. I am okay with the game forcing a playstyle for points and lore and shid.

Other changes I wanted to suggest would be some sort of reward for reaching rank 1 or maybe more bloodpoints per match

everyone hates spirit right now mate. Good luck out there. Also the devs havent fixed gen rush. And theyll probs nerf spirit before fixing gens in conclusion top tier killers are really hard.

I would be okay w a spirit nerf if they just fixed objectives first. The game has alot going for it rn. I am just so pissed that they havent said anything about the most known issue, the thing that has haunted the game forever.

The OP says that it's a casual player only problem, but this is a problem for everyone. I think even some hardcore fans would have problems finishing it without spending some cash.

Using the argument of "It's cosmetics only, so who cares" doesn't change the fact it's a clear cash grab for casuals too fall into. Arguments for the battle pass are covered here by another User: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/749746#Comment_749746

Simply put, the required amount of Fragments needed should be reduced. It's not fair for a good portion of the community too be excluded simply because they don't have the time too commit too such a thing.

It would have been very easy to do both. Instead of, or in addition to, being able to unlock progress with Auric Cells it could have been possible to unlock progress at rank reset, based on the highest rank you achieved.

    Instead we get nothing.

Its another case of the devs not rewarding their consistent supporters. it instead puts something in place to encourage people to play rather than just rewarding the people that actually play.

I'm a devoted player, i love this game, i played it for over 2,5k hours. How is this fair? Why do I get punished for wanted to play on a better platform with better framerate and better controls?

    Explain that to me.

Thats just part of it. I prefer to play on console and I have my pc right here. You still have them. You know whats worse than not having exclusives and restarting? Having to restart.

It isn't about being devoted or not, it's just about finding the game earlier. Hell, DBD is barely advertised anywhere, the biggest attention it's got has been Stranger Things, that doesn't mean people who join later won't be just as devoted as any player now, just that they'd be punished for not playing it right now.

Exclusives are just a terrible concept in general, and there's no value in them except to lord it over people who don't get the chance to have them.

they arent punished at all. The other players are rewarded, the late ones just dont get it. That is not punishment. Punishment would be something like, late players pay double for auric cells. That is a punishment.

The reason they are there is to reward the players who are currently supporting the game. There is nothing wrong with that.

If you get a job, you get paid less than someone who has been working there longer than you. Is that punishment? no. He got a raise.

i just dont get why this is something to discuss whilst gens suck

Nope. There's no reason for something like skins to leave people out.

It's such an arbitrary punishment for people who pick up the game. "Hey, welcome to the community, ######### you for not playing earlier!"

Its not a ######### YOU its a reward for devoted players.

If you arent supporting the game then you will miss out on some. I am sad i missed out on some sea of thieves exclusive gear but its my fault i missed it. And at the same time i were there when there were some cool items and I now have bragging rights.

That is fun. That is a reward for the players who actually care. If you want the skin then play til u get it. Rift skins should be exclusive and event skins too I think.

  • For the people that dont wanna feel left out, just play when there are exclusives???

So survivors should get nerfed to the ground, making the game completely unfair? What will happen when there's no longer survivors to play because the killers are all op with perks and attacks?

You wanna know why survivors are always getting nerfs?

GO WATCH HOW THE GAME PLAYED AT RELEASE.

I feel like a lot of killers take advantage of this on top of their one shot kills to slug everyone. Majority of the time it makes the game unfun when they start to slug.

On Facebook killers troll and make fun bout that. But facts are, most killers camp their totems/hexs. And not everyone in game will run around looking for totems.

no. The counterplay is getting the totems you lazy apes. Adapt. If it is such a huge problem then just DO TOTEMS. I cant believe people are still complaining about stupid shid

  • They just need to rework objectives correctly

    • After hitting and downing a Marked survivor, HALF of Ghostface's "Night Shroud" is instantly recharged.

    Rewards Ghostface for prioritizing stealth.

Assists Ghostface in getting his power back more easily.

    His stealth is pointless regardless.

I posted millions of times that he should be able to tp to lockers and stalk from inside for map pressure and fear and stealth but they didnt listen ha. They dont listen. They have kept the gen speeds bs for years.

I wish they would buff him but he needs something different. Something that isnt myers but trash. Watch how true talent plays him and you'll find that its most effective if you never stalk.

  • I almost wanna give him a sub because this is EXACTLY HOW I ######### FEEL.

Devs wont listen to us though. They prefer the players who come in every time a new licensed chapter comes out and play for a week XD

I don't know, some of these things feel like they're the gripes of players who don't know what they're doing or how to exert pressure effectively as killer. Specifically getting gen rushed, which is mitigated by learning to apply map pressure effectively via multiple injuries, slugging and whatever killer relative abilities you have. Your mid level and up killer does not get gen rushed unless they're failing to play effectively.

I feel the developers have indeed put quite a massive amount of time into pleasing this community as they've done several massive patches responding to their criticism and are continuing to do so, the nurse changes being a good example of them. The nurse changes both maintain the strength of the killer, still likely the best in the game, while giving survivor's a very slight measure of counterplay to her in an attempt to make it good for both sides. I do feel they try to take a reserved approach to some changes because this community is whiny as hell in two different directions, and if they did everything people saw as a crisis they'd likely end up nerfing both sides significantly. Even factoring in the more experienced players.

I do see this game as the best it's been since release. There is really no super bs scenario like it used to have remaining. The worst parts of this game currently are mori's, keys and the two best killers not allowing survivors a meaningful way of counterplay. But they're still addressing community complaints heavily. They can't do them all at once because it's a balancing act and shifting too much to one side makes things hard to track and risks overdoing it, so this is the slower but smarter way to approach said issue.

As nice as it may sound to just drop everything and make every patch, instead of every other patch, about improving game mechanics, it's naive to think that is plausible for them to do. Never ending development does not fund itself and lingering sales without an infusion of new will both bore a playerbase and dry up revenue needed to pay the staff at behavior so they can continue work on this game. The battlepass is also being handled exceptionally well and is not questionable. Purely cosmetic in nature and it allows you to earn your money back for an insane discount on cosmetics (over 8k value just accounting for cosmetics in the pass) is excessively charitable. Hell it would be a good deal even IF they did not let you earn aurics out of it. In the end it is a reasonable price for superficial content and a ton of additional free content they're putting out alongside it. For these reasons, I do not feel behavior is in need of slowing down their monetization practices and am glad they're finding further avenues for monetization.

In conclusion, I do agree the game isn't perfect and there are some matters that still need addressed. But the critique of behavior doing a poor job of improving the game and shaping it from what was likely looked at as a casual screwing around game into the most iconic title of a genre they more or less pioneered, I feel you're incorrect. And as previously noted, I feel their balance between QoL and new content to further finance their studio is well balanced and generous to the playerbase as it stands. I have never seen a development studio so responsive to the community and I look forward to continuing to see them grow as a studio and Dead by Daylight grow as a game.

Even the best players and many survivors complain about gen speeds. Its bs. Sometimes you dont even get the chance to apply that pressure. A match can end in 2 minutes.

Just another way of removing a survivor from a trial. Or just same mechanic, but different appearance. Like Putting a survivor into a "rack" or SAW-like torture device which would kill them.

Well I feel like gens and hooks are iconic to the game but just need to be fixed bc they suck. Like struggle should be changed somehow bc everyone hates it and gens suck bc they are slow and boring. I made a discussion on how to fix gens. People kind of liked it and I wish they would go with it
