Hex totems can not be blessed with Boon
Oh boy, I wish that was true
-
Are you ok, buddy?
-
If there's one thing this game doesn't lack, that is content.
-
If they remove the basic attack restriction I would use it literally on every killer, I just love that perk...
-
I agree that 4 hooks are too few, especially if they all spawn in the same area but I prefer the idea that only some hooks are special. Personally I would increase them to 6, but still the effect should be stronger to make the hassle to get to the right hook worth it.

wraith's post cloak is exactly the same. i don't know why people keep saying it isn't. a lunge lasts 0.3 seconds and his speed boost last 1 second instead of 1.25. he was seriously barely touched.
Exactly. Let's not forget that when he was buffed by increasing his uncloaked speed they threw in also a buff to his post-uncloaking speed boost, which imo he didn't really need. They just reverted the change.
-
Tbh TotH could be made not an Hex at this point.
-
The fact is that Tinkerer makes the killer extremely predictable and it's quite easy to guess when it activates, it doesn't really need a cooldown.
-
I agree. The music (and sounds too) are some of the things that distinguish this game from the others.
-
I think they break a bit too fast when survivors move behind objects, but aside that they're extremely fun to use.
-
As much as I hate bodyblocking with BT, that change would destroy the perk because of how unreliable protection hits are.
-
I'm playing mostly him these days and having a ton of fun, but I gess since his power is not straightforward as other killers' he's less appealing to the masses.
-
The only way I could see a flying killer work in this game is if he could shrink himself, maybe by transforming into a crow (now that I wrote it, I think it would be awsome)
-
That's the problem with Skill Based Matchmaking, that ironically it doesn't factor skill at all. So you can have extremely good people who maybe don't care to die often being paired with people who die a lot because they can't do better.
-
90% of the times it's useless and/or predictable (and funny to see survivors smashing their head on a wall), the times where it's very useful it's extremely frustrating but it's rare.
-
I find the change refreshing, now when 2 survivors remain you don't have to fear they will play hide-and-seek waiting for the other to die or escape both thanks to a key, they usually try to do the gens.
I agree though that it heavily shifts the balance towards killers, I think if the hatch is closed by the killers it should be easier to open a gate, like maybe they gradually open over the duration of the EGC
-
Personally I don't find Doc to be weak as you guys think. He feels quite balanced to me.
-
As an avid Iron Will user I'd be fine with that.
-
Seems a fun perk. +1
-
Personally the only thing I would change about him is to make his tentacle prioritise pallets over survivors. Considering it already chews throught pallets in no time, it seems a bit unfair that he can also hit over them.
-
To me he didn't change much, but something that I found useful is to "pre-aim" before turning a corner (for example at shack), so that the survivor won't have time to react.
-
Forcing the use of a chat filter which doesn't work properly and can make normal conversations impossible.
-
I agree, it makes everything too blue.
-
Finally I can say "If it glows it goes" while playing killer...
-
Oh, so that's who actually buys NTFs!
-
I don't like him very much but he's not that bad actually, especially if you can hit survivors from afar.
-
It's definetly different, but mostly on tall killers. On Ghostface for example I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.
-
Tbh this rift is kinda meh, the best stuff is in the free track (mainly the Plague skin).
-
I was equally confused, but after doing some research the main points are three:
1 - NFTs are very bad for the environment because they require insane amounts of electricity.
2 - their value is kinda questionable. Basically it's spending a lot of money for just bragging rights, like pointing at a tree and telling everyone that it's now yours.
3 - they are used to "steal" property of pieces of arts, tweets and basically anything digital you could create.
From what I can tell BHVR's approach to NFTs is "innocent" and won't have negative repercussions on the game, but NFTs are strongly stigmatized (rightfully so, imo) and people don't want that kind of stuff associated with something they love (which in this case is DbD)

However, the bell ring to unlock, without addons, is so long that there is zero chance of surprising anyone in time to get a. Surprise hit on them
Little tip: the Wraith sounds his bell starting at half his uncloaking animation, which means the first half is silent. If you start uncloaking behind a wall and emerge only after the bell sound you give survivors a lot less time to react to your presence.
-
You guys go on and say to a newbie or someone that never played that he should hold W to win and see the result...
-
Nemesis' fist hitting stuff. Strangely it's the only "weapon" that doesn't change sound based on the surface hit, but it has a very satisfying low-end and a crisp tail, you really feel like you're punching a brick wall.
-
The Pig? You mean one of the 3 killers who can become undetectable at will without the need of a perk?
-
Doubt it. Imo it's more likely the Entity took her knowing she would spice things up with her magic.
-
No. I'm very disappointed that after so much time instead of a complex, functional, skill-based system all we got was that over simplified... thing
-
They would need to create a whole new system that recognizes that the DC happened at the right time and define what this right time is, just because a minority is too impatient to wait a bunch of seconds for the animation to play out...
-
Dead Space. The first in particular is scary af.
-
My only complaint about current DS is that the timer feels so much longer than one minute when playing killer.
-
It shouldn't be that dark for killers, since their eyes are so adapted to darkness that a flashlight literally burns them. Plus Claudettes would have a field day.
-
Judith's Tombstone has a pretty harsh speed penalty, while the Tombstone Piece only adds more stalking only for the first tier up which is not that much of a price to pay to completely remove a survivor in a click.
-
I don't think he is too oppressive, but when they buffed him I thought the uncloaking speed boost buff was unneeded so I don't mind the change. In any case if you're careful with positioning while uncloaking you don't really need those 0.25s.
-
Nope. I tend to not rely on quickscopes, I prefer to take my time to properly aim, nor I tried being stealthy with him, so I doubt the changes will affect me much.
-
Molly and Pete
-
disable M&A on him
You know this will never ever happen right?
-
The devs explained it years ago. They don't want the characters to get scared, but rather the player. A terror mechanic, as seen in other games, is an artificial way to say "hey, you should be scared now".
-
There's always hope for some AI for the illusions, to make them more alive.
-
I think a lullaby would be a much better and balanced idea for deathslinger
I agree. I understand the reasoning for the increased TR, but it would be more fitting and consistent to give him a lullaby that extends beyond his TR.
-
Old Freddy was a mess, but he had a distinct flavour the new one doesn't have.
-
His teleport is good and can be used (rarely) for some nice mindgames, but the snares are kinda bland and spam-to-win (and dream pallets utter bs). Personally I liked the original concept of being able to mark a survivor to put them to sleep, and I wish it was back minus the fact Freddy and awake survivors can't interact.
-
Trickster. He's certainly well done, but I really can't enjoy his design. To me he just looks like a flashy exhibitionist. Even his weapon... is it a bat, is it an axe? Just pick one!
