As promised, Caleb's placement is complete
-
I play literally everyone (even the ones I dislike... looking at you Jane, Nea, Nurse and Hillbilly), so I don't forget people.
The fact that no one can remember Adam makes me sad. He's the best character that no one acknowledges.
-
Average Survivor Level: 35 (2 at 50)
Average Killer Level: 40 (2 at 50)
All in all, I mostly play Killer, since I find repairing generators boring and have no friends to play with.
I am, however, a higher rank Survivor than I am Killer, largely in part because I like to have fun as Killer, regardless of my kills, while I actually attempt to try as Survivor, for what reason I don't really know.
-
I forgot this even existed. I have some work to do.
New Survivors
Jeff Johansen: 32-36
Jane Romero: 38
Ashley J. Williams: 58
Nancy Wheeler: 16-18 (Depends on the season, but she wears her Season 1 outfit, making her 16, shut up about the 21 and over. It's wrong)
Steve Harrington: 17-19 (See Nancy)
Yui Kimura: 25
Zarina Kassir: 28 (her backstory makes her seem younger, but there is something a bit older about her eyes)
(Side Note: I believe Adam is closer to 26 now that I've had a few years to think about it)
New Killers
Frank Morrison (Legion): 19
Julie (Legion): 17
Susie (Legion): 16
Joey (Legion): 18
Adiris (Plague): 27 (Really hard to tell, but she was on the younger side when she became High Priestess and it didn't seem to last long)
Danny Johnson (Ghost Face): 24
The Demogorgon: Uhm... how long do Demogorgons live?
Kazan Yamaoka (Oni): 43
Caleb Quinn (Deathslinger): 60

I've always known what the premise was as it's my favourite part of the game's lore, and until now I was having quite a lot of trouble trying to find the passage that mentions survivors becoming killers. And now I realise why.
They literally rewrote the official wiki without telling anyone.
In this guide, in the "Customs and Traditions", a quote from the wiki is mentioned from how it was at the time. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=950545138
"With each passing death a little of the survivor's soul is lost. Eventually as all hope evaporates, the survivor becomes less and less useful to the Entity, slowly devolving into a cold and emotionless shell. These lost survivors, whose hope has long since left them, eventually become what they once feared so much: the very killers that hunted them."And here's what that passage is now.
With each passing death, a little bit of the Survivor's soul is lost. Eventually as all hope evaporates, the Survivor becomes less and less useful to The Entity, slowly devolving into a cold and emotionless shell. Those lost Survivors, whose hope has long since left them, were eventually thrown into a limbo realm known as "The Void".I don't know what I'm more livid about.
How they completely discarded a brilliant idea or how they did it WITHOUT ######### TELLING ANYONE.
Okay, I see now.
I don't think the devs control the wiki themselves, but this is just... bad. No mention even in the trivia section about older statements.

My interpretation is that Jane's birth mother left shortly after Jane's birth, so Jane's father married Loretta, only for her to leave too.
That or she's adopted.
Those are my best guesses.

I support Dweet as a killer. Anways, I think it would be hard to have a survivor as a killer unless they were a survivor that we could never play. I wouldn't mind a killer who has a backstory of being a survivor and something happened to them or something, but it would have to be a survivor we haven't previously known. I wouldn't mind some more killers who had a backstory of being good before becoming a killer, as long as it could be explained. For example, Plague's backstory is sad to me, she just was trying to help people and wound up dying to the plague. I do not understand though why she is a killer. Nothing in her personality from her backstory to me makes sense why she kills now when she used to be seen as a savior.
Plague is an odd one but think about it like this: She believes that the Entity is one of her gods. She would literally do anything for them, including kill. Especially if the Entity tells her that the Survivors a blasphemers, trying to spread a false religion to her people. No way would the High Priestess of Babylon allow this.
-
Okay then.
SHOW me where it was said that the premise was always the Survivors eventually becoming Killers. Old Alpha text. Dev tweet. Dev post on reddit or here. SOMETHING to back up that premise you claim has always been present.
And I'm not trying to purposefully attack you. This is an idea that I would also like to see explored. But I seem to remember, before the Void being revealed sometime after Legion (I think it was shortly after Legion's release anyway, given OLD discussion posts from December 2018 talking about it here), that the premise was that the Survivors are in an infinite cycle of life and death, accepting that they cannot escape but still try anyway.
THAT'S the premise I seem to remember. Not the Survivors eventually becoming Killers. And believe me, I pay attention to the lore. It's what got me here in the first place. If you can show me where you found that premise, then I'll believe you. Until then, I stand by the lore we are given in the game.
-
Not trying to sound rude or anything, but that is not the premise of the game.
The premise of the game is that the Entity feeds off the hope of the Survivors, yes, but it does NOT have them become Killers. In fact, Killers are just as fed off of as Survivors.
In Tome I: Awakening, we are introduced to a man simply called the Alchemist. Through his Archive, we see the Void. Here, the Entity stores the husks of Survivors and Killers that are no longer of any use to it. These people have had all of their hope drained, and are trapped in the Void. They are neither alive or dead; just empty husks standing around aimlessly, unsure of their purpose.
There are no Survivors that have becomes Killers... except for the Alchemist. His last archive speaks of how he is willing to tear both Survivor AND Killer apart limb from limb just so he can get one more flower. These flowers give him power, and he is constantly searching for one more. Then another one. And another one.
-
Ascendance is now in place.
Caleb's placement will be in ASAP when he is officially released, as stated earlier.
-
Sounds like he's taking it personally.
I don't know if this is reportable, but it could be considered griefing.
I don't know what system you're on, but you could try changing your name for a little bit to see if it stops.
If you can provide proof that he is purposefully targeting you, then he may be reportable. Without proof, however, it is heavily unlikely.
-
I play both sides, but my Killer levels outlevel my Survivor levels.
I consider my mains to be Doctor and Oni.
Doctor has always, even before his rework, been the Killer I enjoy most. I rarely get angry when I play him. He's just fun to play.
I started playing Oni as part of a running joke between me and my old chemistry teacher (why do I keep saying "old" when it was literally last year?). However, I actually began enjoying the psychopath samurai, and began playing him as more than just a meme that only my friends and I will understand (not that any of them even play the game, because they don't).
As for why continue: I like the thrill of the chase. Sacrifices mean nothing to me as long as the chases are satisfying. And I swear I am not a psychopath myself. I just enjoy freaking/weirding people out.
-
Favorite - Probably Adam.
Great Person - Again, Adam. If the Entity didn't take him, he would have given his life to save that girl, even when he JUST got his life figured out.
Best Backstory - Kate, by a fairly large margin. Although, if we exclude the Archives, I would say Jane.
Meet - Min (NOT FENG PEOPLE). We have pretty similar personalities (lone wolf gamers). In addition, I know three people that could help me speak to her in her native language (and vice versa).
Dislike Personality - David King and Steve. Jocks and I do not tend to get along.
Dislike Lore - I know I said that if it wasn't for the Archives, I would say Jane was one of the best. However, her Archive (or at least where I am) is a massive social justice fever dream that leaves a horrible taste behind. I gave Yui a pass because 1. It was BHVR's first foray into it and 2. Yui actually still feels human. And I'm noticing something. Jane was a famous celebrity. People played a lot of Jane. Yui is a celebrity. Zarina is somewhat of a celebrity. Yui delved into social justice and political commentary. People played a lot of Yui. Zarina and Jane are now delving into political commentary and, in Jane's case, social justice. BHVR, this is NOT why people play these characters. They play Yui because she's kind of cute (IMO). They play Jane because... do I even NEED to say why? All of these correlate to why I dislike Jane the most lorewise (not saying she has the worst lore, since that honor goes to Meg, Nancy, Laurie and Steve, but I dislike hers the most).
-
Depends on the time of day for me.
Morning to about 9:00, I struggle to find Killer games, but Survivor games are near instant.
After 9:00, it's like a switch is flipped, because Survivor games become impossible to find while I hit ready and am already in a Killer game.
-
Before his buff, I would have said Doctor, since I've mained him since day two of my playing the game. Now a lot of people seem to have some difficulty against him. He's still not overpowered, but he's not someone who you can push around as easily as people believed before.
But now I have to say Oni. I started playing him a lot because of a running joke between me and my old chem teacher (who's last name is effectively the same), and I can safely say that, yeah, sure, Hillbilly has his instant down fright away, but he can't track like Oni can. He can't bump into objects with no penalty like Oni can. He can't do an almost instantaneous instant down lunge like Oni can. Without add-ons, he can't steer as well as Oni can. I find Oni's speed much more managable than Hillbilly (although those last two might just be me not having played Hillbilly in almost a year, but the difference between the two is insane to me).
I can understand Demogorgon's underration, but if you know how to play it, it is ridiculously powerful. If you're getting close but know they'll drop the pallet before you can hit them, charge your shred. It'll be gone in a quick second. Demi needs a lot of changes, but it's not as pathetic as people make it out to be.
Also Hag, because I know how powerful she can be, but I've not played her in a while and it shows.
-
Survivor: The Game. I've been playing since before Clown and I still can't figure the place out. Same goes for Léry's.
Killer: Sanctum of Wrath. I actually don't mind Family Residence, even though it is way too big. But Sanctum... is pure hell. It's not even that I do poorly there, since I do about average there as I do anywhere else. I just hate how a Survivor just needs to crouch and they're hidden (trust me, I play dark brown coat Adam and have Claudette at 50. They vanish there.)
Both: Hawkins Underground Complex. This map should have been more thought over. It's a worse maze than Léry's and The Game, has so many areas that practically negate half of the Killers' powers, every room looks the same to me, and the generators are a pain to get to on both sides.
Bonus: Aesthetically, Temple of Purgation should have been a desert map, not whatever this Babylonian forest is (Babylon didn't even extend into that region).
-
They're better than P2P, but only just.
I honestly forgot they were still active on PC it made that little difference.
On the plus side, I'm not being paired with people from Poland anymore (I live in Michigan, that's an extreme distance, and the other Survivor in that lobby was from England [we were doing a ping check while we were facing the no-fourth person glitch])
-
Anyone who has read the wiki knew he was black, but it was honestly pretty clever deduction on the part of the people who figured it out.
From the Trivia section on his gamepedia page ""Carter" is a surname common among African Americans capable of tracing their roots back to the southern United States or Caribbean from the early 20th century onward."
And Philip is the only full-on African character we have. The general consensus is Nigerian.

Don't forget though, in the Deathslinger's lore it mentions that he had his sentence shortened by the warden in exchange for him hunting for prisoners. In Arizona, aggravated assault (assault inflicted with a deadly weapon, he shot Bayshore with his harpoon gun) is met with 5-15 years for first time offenders, meaning he could've been released earlier due to his deal with the warden. Meaning that he was charged with 15 years on his record, but the warden might not have put down he released Caleb early. Although these are current laws in Arizona, not sure if it was different back in the 1800s. I don't know, just making wild guesses here.
Yeah, that's going to be the only difficult part of his placement, since it's unclear. 1881 is the absolute latest he could have been taken if he was freed just a little bit before his planned release, with 1866 being the absolute earliest if he was freed before serving even one year. Both are unlikely.

Caleb seems like he should be around mid to late 1800's. He can't have come from earlier than 1845, when the potato blight broke out. His lore mentions he is the son of Irish immigrants who were heavily oppressed as Americans feared they would take their jobs. It specifically mentions the phrase "No Irish Need Apply" which put his father out of a job. The phrase first began taking form in 1854, and it mentions that Caleb's father was out of a job for quite a while, so we could put Caleb's birth from around late 1840s to early 1850s. Something else worth mentioning is that Caleb's Modified Ammo Belt addon mentions the Arizona territory, not Arizona state. Arizona was recognized as a territory in 1863, and was officially recognized as a state in 1912. Due to the addon mentioning his specialized weaponry, and the addon Marshal's Badge also mentioning the Arizona Territory, we know that he was in the Hellshire Gang some point after 1863.
Going off of this, Caleb's lore mentions Hellshire Penitentiary as the nation's first private prison. The first private prison I could find was in 1852, San Quentin. If we believe Caleb was born late 1840s, Caleb would be around 19 to 20 when he maims Henry Bayshore and is thrown in prison. It mentions he was in prison for a time, before being released to catch outlaws with the help of his Hellshire Gang, meaning they were released around 1867-1869. They went with this plan for around 6 years before finding the Warden accepted a deal from Bayshore when they go back and murder him and the warden, and Caleb is taken by the Entity. This means Caleb was possibly taken around 1876-1878. I think at least. I wrote this all down in English so this might not be entirely accurate. At least we know he is between 1863 and 1912.
Zarina Kassir's lore tells us about an inmate (that all evidence shows is Caleb), who was sent to Hellshire in 1860 for 15 years. This means he was released in 1875, and he was active for another 6 years after that, placing him in roughly 1881.
I'm just going to wait until he is officially released before I put him in, though. I've done the same with all of the others (except Danny, but that was a special case with me being away from my account when he came out, so I did him earlier).
-
I had them all up to Legion when Plague came out and broke everything. I finally got hers, but at the cost of my mental health.
I'm leaving Ghost Face, Demogorgon, Oni and now Deathslinger until they do something about it. Not worth it in my opinion.
Survivors are all good (except for Zarina, obviously).
-
Put Steeped in Blood in, and updated Rin's placement slightly.
-
So uhm... you forgot some people.
Let us remember our fallen heroes, abandoned and forgotten by a world that just doesn't care.
PS: Adam all the way.
-
From a gameplay point of view, it is much easier to code (not requiring an entirely new animation for pick-ups, carrying, etc.) and more people would more easily understand it (First-person view on Killers).
From a lore point of view, uhm... the shear hopelessness felt by left-handed people due to the hardships they experience as everything is built for right-handed people makes them unsatisfactory to the Entity, who never actually wanted Ash to be there and is secretly planning on murdering him itself.
-
Like Boosted said above me, Springtrap makes the most sense. He's a guy in a rabbit suit going around killing children, while the others are just the souls of those children in machines, trapped following their programming. Say what you want about the series, he fits in more than most would think.
-
Going back to it would assume I really used it in the first place. I only ever had it equipped on Hag, and I honestly think that was more of a hindrance than anything else, since I also ran Devour Hope.
Facts are facts. Ruin needed a nerf. Maybe what happened was a bit much, but it was needed. If you can't play without Ruin, maybe you just aren't as good of a Killer as you thought you were (Coming from someone with all Killers at least level 30 with roughly 94% of those levels earned as those Killers).
-
When I read the title, this is the add-on I had in mind.
Now, combine them together (I think you know which parts).
-
I play all characters about equally, but if I had to pick
Survivor: Adam and Min (It's not Feng people, learn Chinese naming conventions)
Adam because of a host of reasons (No one ever plays him, so there's uniqueness, he's relatively quiet, his dark trench coat is pure stealth [aka my preferred playstyle], he wears a trench coat in the first place, and he's Jamaican). Min because I could relate to her as a gamer.
Killer: Herman and Demogorgon
Even before his remake, I always considered Doctor my main. And I'm really enjoying Demogorgon.

Yeah Tapp really had it bad... Cough Rin woulda been a better example cough.
Yeah, but Rin retained her injuries and is likely forced to feel that pain for either eternity or until she is no longer of any use to the Entity. Tapp didn't retain his.
-
Look at what the Entity did for Tapp. He was bleeding out from a gunshot, but the Entity patched him up, gave him some pain relief, and dried up his shirt. There is no way the Entity wouldn't be able to give the blind sight or the crippled mobility.
-
Want some advice from someone who has considered Doctor their main since they started playing DBD back in 2018?
Play AS him for a little bit. Figure out how he works. Knowing how to play AS him will give you an insight to his weaknesses so you can play AGAINST him more easily (this goes for all killers, honestly). He is an anti-stealth killer, and he always has been. But now, it isn't passive like it used to be, or as annoying.
Before, he had two modes, Treatment and Punishment. Punishment mode is how he attacked. Treatment mode was where he shocked you. In Treatment mode, he moved a little slower, but his terror radius PASSIVELY gave you Madness, and, outside of lockers that can only work for so long, had no counters. In Madness III, you had a longer time to Snap Out of It and it only brought you back to Madness II instead of Madness I. He was, and still is, bad at chasing, relying on ripping you from stealth and tracking you down.
Oh yeah, and he could practically instantaneously grab you while he was in Treatment mode, though I was only able to pull this off a few times and don't recall it happening to me.
-
I actually calculated this in my first ever discussion, because this was a theory I was interested. Such discussion has since been buried (it's over two years old), so I'll just recap the important information here.
Frank came to Ormond at the age of sixteen, since know he was nineteen when the janitor incident happened. In the attempt to keep them as close to being taken at the same time as I could, I went with the assumption that Jeff was a senior, so the rest of his story could take place. The issue was immediately apparent. As soon as Jeff moves to Winkler, the theory falls apart. He became a roadie for a few years, got his eye damaged, took several courses of art school, which usually takes around 4 years, and led a quiet life drawing for micro-breweries. Using a VERY conservative estimate of time for when he was a roadie and completely ignoring the life he led after school, Frank would have been at least twenty-three. And again, that completely ignores everything that happened after art school.
Long story short, Jeff COULDN'T have been taken at the same time as the Legion, unless he was a time traveling wizard.
-
As bad as BHVR is at making maps, community made maps are likely to be unbalanced towards one side. And if changes were needed, they would need to get the creator's permission, which they would most likely not, out of both bias and fear of the changes being too drastic.

I am sorry if I offended you for putting Feng instead of Min but I was just listing it how it is in game. I knew they used their family name as their name, but I was not sure if that would be correct here. I actually do pronounce it as FAHNG MENE because I didn’t know how you pronounced her name when she came out and looked it up.
Yeah, sorry if I came out as a bit aggressive there.

Trapper ~10 seconds
Wraith ~9 seconds
Hillbilly ~11 seconds
Nurse ~14 seconds
Shape ~13 seconds
Hag ~13 seconds
Doctor ~12 seconds
Huntress ~12 seconds
Cannibal ~13 seconds
Nightmare ~10 seconds
Pig ~7 seconds
Clown ~14 seconds
Spirit ~11 seconds
Legion ~11 seconds
Plague ~14 seconds
Ghost Face ~12 seconds
Demogorgon ~12 seconds
Oni ~13 seconds
These times were taken from the video lengths of the Memento Moris on the DBD Gamepedia.
So no, Clown's is not that long in comparison. It just feels that way since he spends a good amount of time licking fingers.

Dwight: Best-I think he would get along better with Claudette, they both represent the nerds. || Worst-Literally any of the lone wolf characters would fit here just as well as David (Min, Jake, Ash)
Meg: Best-Highly disagree. Meg's whole thing is her energy, and Jake prefers to be alone. She'd probably do better with Yui or Nea. || Worst-Again with the loners. David's a jerk and all, but he and Meg do share athletics in common, so they might be on more neutral terms.
Claudette: Best-The pre-Cursed Legacy opening scene pretty much confirms this. || Worst: I think David would fit a bit better here, honestly. I'd rather not go there, but those with disabilities (like Claudette) are much easier pickings for people like David.
Jake: Best-Like I said with Claudette, pretty much confirmed. || Worst: Meg's energy would seriously annoy Jake more than Ace would.
Nea: Best-Meg or Yui. Both are adrenaline junky rebels while Min is a lone wolf. || Worst: I don't think Nea would get along well with Tapp, since he's a cop and Nea really does not like cops.
Laurie: Best-I think Quentin would be a better fit. They're around the same age and have both dealt with these beings before. || Worst-David. I see no way that they could get along.
Ace: Best-Absolutely agree here. || Worst-Pretty much all the girls can go here. Ace fancies himself a ladies' man.
Bill: Best-Ash and Bill have dealt with very similar things. || Worst-I'm actually going to have to flip this one with who you said was best. Bill is a soldier, and he was the leader of the L4D group. Why would he listen to a young man who's scared of his own shadow?
Min (mini-rant time: you, along with the vast majority of people here, are applying Western naming traditions to a Chinese name. In most Asian countries, the name order goes Family Name Given Name, which makes her name Min, not Feng. And I'm, just guessing here, sure you pronounce it FAYNG MIHN instread of the proper FAHNG MENE [as close as I can accurately type it], right? Okay, rant over.): Best-Honestly, a recent discussion I found makes me think that Min is a lone wolf because she can't communicate with the others. I honestly don't think she'd get along with anyone here. || Worst-That being said, it makes her an easy target for David.
David: Best-Okay, I like this reason. || Worst: Literally everyone.
Quentin: Best-Did you only say this because Nancy is his girlfriend's name? As I said with Laurie, they've been through similar situations (I mean, I guess so have Steve and Nancy, but they had a monster instead of a psychopath after them, so it's different) || Worst-Like I said with Claudette, David likes to pick on those with disabilities, and Quentin takes medicine for ADD.
Tapp: Best-Eh, I think Nancy would be more likely since she wants to be a jounralist, and journalism involves detective work, which Tapp could teach her. || Worst-100% in agreement.
Kate: Best-Yeah, both have musical backgrounds. || Worst-Other than the lone wolves (like Min) being more distant, I think Kate might be the only one who could get along with everyone, including David.
Adam: Best-I could see either Jane or Yui being better than Quentin. Jane because people look up to celebrities and teachers and Yui because they can both speak Japanese. || Worst-Yeah, the whole rebellious thing affects teachers a lot.
Jeff: Best-Agree again. || Worst-I really don't know. Jeff is the big friendly giant. I guess I'll agree, since Min is again super distant, but I can't really think here.
Jane: Best-I can see this. Or we could go with my Adam connection. || Worst-Ace and Ash would really get on Jane's nerves.
Ash: Best-Either Ace or Bill, can go either way. || Worst-I actually think Jane would be best here, due to Ash being somewhat of a womanizer.
Nancy: Best-100% here || Worst-I really don't think Nancy would get along with Nea. Nancy is the ideal student (I think, still haven't seen Stranger Things) while Nea is the rebellious gangster.
Steve: Best-Again 100% || Worst-I think Steve and David would butt heads a lot.
Yui: Best-Adam. Both can speak Japanese, and Adam can translate for Yui if she can't speak English. || Worst-Yeah, I can see this. I'd be more inclined to say Ash instead of Ace, but they both work.
Just my opinions on these.
-
I don't want to stereotype here, but Asians tend to have black hair.
I'm saying this from what I've seen not just in common media, but from experience with those I know, one of them being a first-generation American whose family is from China. His sister's the only one of them that isn't black-haired, and even then, her hair is a brownish-blond. Small pool, yes, and none of them are Japanese, but still.
-
Just want to say that these options are somewhat confusing. You asked if Legion's power should be reduced by basic attacks, then put "yeah" as option one pertaining to "doesn't make sense for it to reduce," and "nope" before saying "fine were it is."
If you didn't have the extra after those two, they wouldn't seem so contradictory to each other. Might just be the way I think though.
-
"If i run detection perks ill get a doc. If i use calm spirit the bastards who made this wait till i get rid of it and then give me a doc. If i use SB i get nurse or billy. I am [BAD WORD] done with this BS. This game serves me nothing but killers who counter everything i do or run and am the target first. Counter everything i have every single game. No random perk that i get to use. A full on counter."
Like you said in the paragraph before, it looks more like you just had REALLY bad luck than anything else. The devs have no control over who Killers play.

They already confirmed in the dev stream that the achievements are staying put as is. Theres really nothing they can do about it other than fixing the bug so others wont unlock them. On another note...its funny seeing how many people have gotten these achievements. Only 6% reached rank 10 as killer? Really?
I mean... ranking up as Killer is hard. I've come close (Rank 11) but I play too casually to really get there.
It's also jumped to 6.8%
-
Not ONE of these should be owned by me. All I did was level Tapp, and these appeared.
I don't deserve these, but I have no idea how to get rid of them. They're aware of the bug, but if we keep these afterwards (which we likely will), it just won't feel right. Basically what Seba said.
-
I don't mind a challenge, as long as it's fun.
Adept Killer is NOT fun. It requires you to be absolutely perfect. You chase that one Survivor one second too little, you fail. That one Survivor suicided on hook, or DCs, you fail (came so close to Adept Ghost Face, but this happened). You hit one too few Survivors, you fail. And even IF you do all of that perfectly, that one generator got done one second too early.
I stopped trying to get Ghost Face, and I'm not going to bother with Demogorgon or Oni. The fact that to realistically get it, you need to derank (which didn't work for me either) is stupid. And I wasn't having fun as Killer doing it. I HATED Plague with a passion, now she's in my top 10, because I'm not stressing out trying to get an achievement that is nearly impossible to get.
-
Not really my choice. Life has kind of gotten in my way these past few months (of course, almost as soon as the Archives came out. I was stuck on the 2nd part well after the 4th opened).
These next few months are going to be even more hectic.
-
The only people that matter to me are my friends. And I don't exactly have that many.
Everyone else is either inconsequential or deserves to burn.
-
This was a few years ago (2018 is a few years, right?), so I may be getting some things wrong.
I was playing Trapper on one of the farm maps (I want to say Thompson House, but I'm can't remember). I had a really rough game, and it wasn't until the last generator popped that I downed Bill. I brought him to a hook on a hill, with the exit gate about twenty feet away. However, before I hooked him, Tapp got trapped right on a pallet (probably going for a stun since I was right there), so I hit him and carry Bill off. Meg saves him and he crawls off as I chase her. Then I see Claudette run for the hook (gate was open at this point, no EGC), so I go after her, and Meg takes over. This repeats until I downed one of them (can't remember which one). Bill was either dead or stage two by this point, and the only other Survivor got trapped at another pallet (I think I trapped most of the pallets). I hook them both, find Tapp, and hook him.
Surprisingly friendly endgame chat, realizing they were a bit too altruistic.
I'd say that was one of my best games I've ever had.

I was literally talking to a friend about this two days ago. I was pretty torn between Claudette, Jake, and Nea.
Jake has Iron Will and Calm Spirit, Nea has Urban Evasion, Claudette has Botany Knowledge, Self-Care, and can go invisible on some maps, and Empathy's not bad either.
Claudette has more points going to her.

I'd like to see some cosmetics that go back to his Jamaican roots. Maybe when he gets his Archive.
The sad thing is, no one really plays him, so BHVR has no incentive to give him anything, while Claudette is played all the time, so she has a million cosmetics. Personally, when I actually have all Survivor perks unlocked, I'll primarily play him myself. I have a soft spot for trench coats. And he's Jamaican. And the fact that he sort of resembles Will Smith. Mostly the first two though. Both are instant winners for me.

Unless they are officially declared canon by the devs, I take these descriptions with a grain of salt. I like how they've begun telling stories with the cosmetics, but they just seem... I don't know. Off, i guess is what I'm looking for.
Susie is from Canada. Now, I'm not that familiar with Canada's customs (although many maps have put where I live as Canada), but I don't really think they'd celebrate the Lunar New Year like China, Japan, Korea, Cambodia, Mongolia, etc. would. That's my biggest takeaway from that.
Interesting find, but I wouldn't take it at face value.

It's all right there on the wiki as to why we'll never get this type of Killer. They tried it, and it failed.
Same goes for flying Killers. Way too hard to balance.

Out of all of these, the only ones with Ruin are Hag (Tier III, in use), Doctor (Tier I, not in use), Ghost Face (Tier I, not in use) and Demogorgon (Tier I, not is use). I don't really use it because I know how it feels on the Survivor side, and it tends to be cleansed quickly whenever I do use it. I will not, nor do I have any reason to, quit if Ruin is nerfed.
My issue is that BHVR believes it was being run because of the Gatekeeper emblem and not gen speeds.
