    "we made him the way he is to give survivors a CHANCE to escape."

    you're mad they gave survivors a "chance"?
    They didmt think of giving the killer a chance for kills, not that survivors shouldn’t have a chance to escape
    You got a weapon and a power to ignore what survivors usually use to protect themselves, BUT NOOO, they didn't think of giving the killer a chance to kill.
    Holy ****, the things i gotta read lately...

    Just hit or grab them before they make a save...All 3 of them.
    @Raccoon
    Oh so you want to trade one hook for 3 hooks? Awesome.
    Idk who said that but certainly wasn't me.

    Hit, and they can rescue, thus triggering BT. Because the grab can be cancelled before the animation actually ends, there's only one Killer that can reliably grab them (the Doctor), meaning that you'll likely hit them, thus allowing them to rescue, thus triggering BT.

    Yes, they can rescue, but the rescuer will fall because there's not enough time to get hit, unhook and escape.
    Also, hookswarming is good for the killers since survivors won't be doing gens.

  • Breaking news, not camping prevents BT from triggering.
  • Does Everyone Happen to be Playing The Legion Wrong?

    Probably, at least all the ones complaining too soon.
  • I don't get all this crying about bbq, i only use it if i need more bloodpoints asap.
    I always go check the gens since i gotta keep the map pressure, i don't really care if someone is close by.
    About aftercare, i think i read it goes off when you get hooked.

  • - RL reasons (house on fire, etc)

    No no, that's a lame excuse. You gotta keep playing!!

    To the OP: when i got green ping in the lobby and as soon as the match starts i teleport like a nurse.

  • It's started making four kills impossible and it's getting to the point I physically get to angry to play killer
    1 - it's not impossible, if you are so desperate for 4K just slug.
    2 - get some help, it's not healthy to get that angry over a video game.

    The only problem is that splitting and doing generators alone is a very hard counter. I actually don't know what I can do if people split up.
    I will wait for good killers' streams to see his potential better (zubat for example)

    zubat makes any killer seem decent, Hexy puts her below clown and pig. Playing her on the PTB is frustrating to say the least, it's as bad as playing Pig.

    @akbays35
    So the game should be balanced around mediocre players? That's not what killer mains think about the depip squad.

    I only pick BBQ for the double BP.

    But of course this will have implications on the gameplay.
    If I have no aura to chase..... mhm well you can figure that out yourself

    it would actually be more fair then what we have now

    @friendlykillermain
    You havent thought about it clearly enough, picture this.
    New killer puts survivor on the deep wounds state, these are the options:
    1 - killer catches the survivor eventually, that's fine.
    2 - killer loses the survivor, survivors mend themselves and killer easily finds the survivor thanks to nurses.
    3 - killer loses the survivor, survivors don't mend themselves because killer has nurses. Survivors are put on the dying state and send a notification to the killer about their location.
    New killer + nurses guarantees the hook no matter what.
  • This suggestion reminds me a lot of State of decay

  • I'm not surprised. About people bitching so early about the new content i mean of course :)
  • Also, can nurses calling reveal survivors healing from deep wounds?
  • How often will be used Discordance?
    I mean, the problem for killers is survivors doing different gens. This perk will encourage survivors to not work on the same gen together.

      However, the last indication they had is gone.

      Whatever, I think as a solo I can benefit from that in the long run. I got dodged a lot of times just for the reason that I joined the looby simultaneously with other randoms.

      The question is whether it is desireable to give no indication for SWF at all.

    As long as DCing isnt punished properly, killers last resort is a DC vs SWF

    Well, you can answer it yourself. What does the matchmaking change aim to achieve: equalized queue times or killers' desire to exclusively play versus 4 solos?

    Given that it removes the killer's ability to abuse lobby dodging to avoid SWF (but still not any other reason like dodging lobbies with survivors using too many items, having too many hours, having troll-y names, streamers, wearing paid cosmetics, using certain characters, etc.), I think it is fair to address last second switching next.

    So when survivors lobby dodged to ENSURE they got with their friends SWF was created. When killers dodge to avoid them they stop it.

    @purebalance
    Wrong. Devs said already that SWF was always an intended feature.

    Doesn't matter if it was or wasn't. When they were dodging to ensure it, they should have canceled the idea. So sorry, but you're the wrong one. Their reasoning of not removing now even though they admit it breaks the game is people will dodge until they get their friends.

    My point is 100% accurate and stands.

    @purebalance
    You suggested that swf was created because of survivors lobbydodging, and that's wrong no matter how you see it. How can i be wrong about something that devs have confirmed already??
    You might like or not, but you can't say i'm wrong lol.

    Do you really need an incentive to take 14 seconds out of your time to cleanse that dull totem you just passed by? They're not going to give you any incentives or beg you to cleanse those dull totems because in the end it's for your own survival and you can't blame anyone but yourself if you go down to noed.

    @EntityDispleased
    14 secs for each totem plus the time you run from one totem to another.
    This change would benefit many killer mains who complain about genrushing.
    Yeah it might take a while for one survivor to cleanse the totems, but there's the same problem with gens, theres four survivors. By your own logic FOUR of the totems would be cleasend in 14 seconds, completely nullify ingredients a killers perk for almost non effort from the survivors.
    @Cetren
    Ok let's assume that all 4 survivors will look for totems (huehue), that would still counter genrush. They need to look for them, cleanse them, 1 or 2 would need to leave them because killer is getting closer, etc...

    I've had so many times killers think that I was playing in SWF when there were actually 4 solos. I've also had plenty times where I thought it was a 4 stack, when in actuality, it's 2 team SWF at most with 2 consistently matched solos.

    Honestly, it's often an excuse for killers to jump to when they do badly/have a bad game.

    @Visionmaker
    Happens so often, I've got many pms from killers telling me "noob swfs" and stuff. Funny thing is that i was running perks that would make no sense to run with swf.

    Spirit Fury/ Enduring seems to be a more common Meta. That Kindred, Bond and Open Handed seems pretty good

    It is, gives you a lot of information to you and the others which honestly it's the only thing i personally need when playing solo.
    If u get camped killer's aura will be shown to others within a 16 meters range instead of 8 thanks to open handed, and if someone is coming to rescue you the others will know they gotta keep doing gens. Open handed will increase the range of bond as well, which is nice since u can see survivors from far and guess what's going on around you.
    4th perk slot is up to u, but since i got bond and healing got nerfed i rather not run SC and look for teammates to heal me instead.
    Edit: btw, if someone else is running open handed killer's aura will be shown when standing within 24 meters from the hook, doesn't stack further than that.

    It was his fault regardless of what you think, period.

    It was his fault to camp the totems and we took advantage of it, nothing wrong with that.
    I never camp the totems because it's stupid to expect them to be there the whole match.
    If he had chased us instead of camping them he would had had better results.

    Yes, it's his fault you decided to toy with him just because you could and because you knew there was nothing he could do about it (i.e.: you decided to be abusive).
    You are part of the problem, period.

    @Orion
    As i said, we took turns so the other 2 can finish the gens, it's called playing smart.
    You know when you guys say camping is rewarding thanks to all those altruistic survivors? This is exactly the same situation. It was rewarding for us because the killer kept trying to protect the totems.
    If you still think i was toying with him i suggest you to go to all those threads about camping/bodyblocking the basement stairs and support them as well.
