It somehow does.@LordziPL said:Rank doesn't matter in nowadays in DBD
It's true that you can see rank 1 players do dumb stuff, but when you play at high ranks the difference between rank 1 and rank 10 is noticeable. Look at those who derank on purpose just to get easier matches. -
4 slots is good enough and still will be even if they add more perks. Actually, having more perks while keeping the number of slots WOULD increase build diversity.
Currently many of them are unused because they aren't so good, so instead of adding perk slots i say they should buff those perks (or completely rework them) so we can see some more variety. -
You are the only troll here, i'm a rank 1 killer.Stubbsyefc1 said:Vietfox you are a troll, Go away.

In other words: gimme ez matches cause i got no skills.Stubbsyefc1 said:The Survivors get most things in this game, Gen rush most games, 4 minute games, ZZZZzzz, Boring, Hit them, They run away and heal over and over again, Looping over and over again..., The last Survivor gets a free escape.., Instead of having to hook them 3 times change it to 2 instead, Gen rushing needs sorting out, Looping is annoying, This game will be dead in 2 years, Because its so unbalanced..
Every update makes the game worse, Seems like the devs don't know what balanced means..
Btw, none of my games as a killer take 4 minutes because survivors genrushed. -
I think i spelled "game" correctly.Stubbsyefc1 said:Learn to spell, Its only a "game", The game is not balanced , It's survivors who get most things in this game and the maps suck
I love how you rather keep complaining about the hacth when i already gave you a solution.
How old are you, 15? I'm asking because the hatch seems to be as important as a real life issue. -
It's a game, not real life.Stubbsyefc1 said:It is survivor sided, it takes 3 hooks to kill someone, its stupid, if you got hooked in real life you would bleed to death so don;t give me that. It takes about 3 to 4 minutes to do all 5 gens...YAy thats fun......... NOT!
Hatch is a noob escape, The killer should be rewarded for killing 3 people.
You want to be rewarded? Work for your 4th kill and slug. -

Don't you remember the threads?
Maybe killers did the same...
Survivor queue times are usually quite fast, that's why people is asking what's going on (including myself, i made a thread about it too).
Also there's hasn't been any important change that nerfs survivors so... -

You mean unrelenting, STBFL is for succesful attacks.@Onionthing said:Both are meh in my opinion. Coming from a wraith perspective:
Bamboozle - Gives some interesting chase and corner options. As long as Im not being gen rushed, I would have some fun messing around with people who want to use stealth-vaulting and vault-juking as their strategy.
Save the Best for last - I'm pretty accurate and don't miss my attacks. If im missing, its intentional. I will purposefully do wiff swings when I want the survivor to change direction or make a stupid mistake. I never saw a point to attack cool-down perks.

If you think this game is heavily survivor sided then you are not as good as a killer as you think, sorry.Stubbsyefc1 said:@Vietfox said:
"it's heavily towards the survivors than killers..."
You got 3K already, i wouldn't say it's heavily survivor sided. But if you are so desperate for the 4K then slug. What you on about?, it is and you know it
I'll say it again: if you are so desperate for 4K then slug the 3rd survivor and go kill the last one. -

On console you can rotate them by holding X on them and then move your stick.

Yeah of course, it's just a suggestion.@powerbats said:Well to each her or his own it must be held true, let people run what they want to run and give suggestions on things to try. I don't run SB anymore except on certain undergeared toons and same for UE unless it's a special build.
I'll occasionally run CS/SO/SC/PM but I might just throw in Pebble along with Stakeout since those will go well together.

Happened to me once. Hatch spawned on a hill at the Red Forest and we couldn't open it.

Increasing the range would actually be more harmful than helpful.@Aari_Piggy66 said:
Small games in it's current state is not a bad perk it's something that you could very easily just buff the benefits for example increasing the range and showing an aura.
Showing the aura would be cool, but that might be too much. -
I know, i always run resilience when playing with friends, it's an awesome perk.@thesuicidefox said:@Vietfox said:

I know where the gens are and usually i focus on the ones at the center first. Bond was useful because i saw a survivor working on a gen for long so i assumed it was almost done when left it, that's why i decided to finish it and then go finish the one at the main building which was about 50% done.@AlwaysInAGoodShape said:I watched it, but it's still very weak.
I'm assuming you think it's strong because of the reasons:
1. Knowing Generator locations
2. Knowing Which generators are being worked on. Input used to prevent 3gens
3. Knowing who goes for the unhook
4. Knowing where the killer is being chased to.Add more to the list if you will.
Now here is why those 2 perks are more fun that useful;
- You'll already know where all the generators are if you do basic scouting as a part of your efficient movements.
- Good players know what the "Corner" Generators are and can use pre-established communication (a social contract) that tells them that such corner generators will not be completed. (Since Rank 1 is home to both good and bad players, this point wouldn't result in a 100% true in every case, but will be when DBD's ranking system has been solved) In the cases in which you play with bad players:
- When a generator pops off, you know where that Gen has been completed, letting you know where you should go next. Generally, this knowledge is already enough for you to completely replace the 2 perks you needed to otherwise know this.
- If he's not where you are, you should be doing Gens anyways.
The reason why in SWF's the same type of information becomes so much stronger is because BOTH players are aware of each other , allowing for planning.
Aftercare would be strong, had it not been for the tedious conditions and ability to lose it, together with a ranking system that allowed better players to play with just as good players, this would give life to such perks through the power of pre-established (trust) communication. What the perk did do, is make you very aware of the chase above you at the start and motivated you to wait, while (most likely) you could've just opened the chest and saved the 25 seconds, turning it into generator time.

Let's say your teammates aren't the smartest ones on DbD, you get hooked and all 3 come to rescue you. No one is doing gens, meaning less chances to get the hatch.
The main point is that survival rate is way higher when survivors cooperate and are organized.
You help yourself by helping others.Like that can help sure, but from my experience your survival is 90% based on your own actions. The only time other survivors affect your survival is if they sandbag you or do something seriously stupid like save you right in front of the killer. If you play stealthy at the start you can make sure 2 gens get done so you can hatch.

I play this game in a really smart way, i'm aware of gens locations to not end up with 3 gens close to each other and common sense is what makes me survive, but Kindred isn't for me, is for the other survivors. If you play smart you will outlive other survivors and take the hatch.

I was expecting to have shorter queue times after the rank reset but apparently not, any reason why this keeps happening?
Is it bugged? Everyone is playing as survivor? There's a new cool tv show and no one is playing DbD? People realized there's a world to visit out there?
PS4 EU btwI thought survivors were known to get lobbies faster than killers. Maybe a matchmaking bug? I don't know how PS4 matchmaking currently works, so I'm not much help here. My only guess is a matchmaking bug, but it could be anything for all I know.

My solo build is: kindred, bond, open handed and small game.
Swf build: Resilience, adrenaline, borrowed time and small game.
"come on people have some variety"
I totally agree with this, problem is that a huge part of the DbD community just copy/paste what they see from youtubers/streamers instead of learning how the game works by themselves. That results on DH/DS/SB/SC users usually to be the first ones to get killed
The other reason is that there are (almost) worthless perks that need to be buffed, like Technician. -
I would never run a perk exclusively for the hatch, but maybe it could be part of the already existent perk "wake up"

Distortion benefits:Vietfox said:I dont like distortion, you got lockers or you can simply fake the direction you are heading to for 4 seconds.
If i had to use a stealh build i guess i would run: spine chill, iron will and lightweight. Not sure about the 4th one, but wouldn't be urban evasion.
- Know immediately and with certainty whether a killer is running BBQ, Bitter Mumur or Nurse's (Bitter Murmur in particular is less obvious without it because killers often head toward just completed gens anyway)
- Know when Myers or Wraith have aura add ons
- Blocks Nurse's when killer can see you healing but they have a small or no terror radius
- Insurance for when you aren't near a gen or locker (good for cleansing hexes or end game when you're opening a gate/looking for hatch)
- Helps counter Iron Maiden
- No scratch marks for 10 seconds
Even with locker hiding there have been plenty of times where I was a few seconds away from a locker and would have been seen if not for Distortion.
Btw, i always assume that killer is running bbq (and noed). -

That's the point of builds, to make you choose what perks to run and leaving some others behind.@AlwaysInAGoodShape said:For any kind of build.
For a real stealth build I would highly disagree. There are so many minor stealth perks like Calm Spirit that can never be included just due to how many stealth perks there are and how their power is often minimal, where-as "Killer Escape" builds often have all they need with just 4 perks.
You can only justify that claim if you deliberately start cutting at the concept of said build, but in that same manner you could argue that 3/2 perk slots would be enough for "any build".
I like being forced to do that. -
For any kind of build.@AlwaysInAGoodShape said:@Vietfox said:

If i had a 5th perk slot i would run WGLF, honestly. But yeah, 4 slots are enough and perfect for different kind of builds. A 5th one would mean even less build diversity.@IamFran said:No
If a 5th slot is enabled every survivor would be using DS and every killer would be using NOED/Ruin. That perks are very frequent, but with a 5th slot almost everyone would be using them. -
