Makes no sense as prestige isnt related to skill, just to playtime.
Yeah no chance someone P35 has any skill. Just no correlation at all
-
Give killers a perk where your first kick after hooking a different survivor instantly regresses an entire gen if it's more than 32m away
-
It's very fun and fair when a guy gets full healed and then comes and blocks your current chase cause he still has OTR active. Definitely very balanced
-
Sure as long as us killer mains can ban 2, 3 and 4 man SWFs from our lobbies
-
I have a report on a survivor that blatantly turned on speed hacks to escape as the last person and get hatch. It's been sitting there for 5 days now waiting for BHVR's support to act on it. I provided video evidence, reported in-game, and filled out the additional report information template on the support site. It's a joke.

Pre nerf:
I just want to give the killer some more points dude, I'm not being toxic!!! ::dead hards out the gate as soon as killer gets within hitting range::

I mean the fact that you can find tons of different killer streamers who post videos about 50 or even 100 win streak games on a variety of or all killers meanwhile the only survivor to ever post a long win streak was noob3 at like a 50+ win streak should say enough.
Dowsey did this video on the greatest moments in dbd and they were all killer win streaks with an honorable mention to noob at the end lol
Game's always favored killer but now its just easier than ever.
I remember sweating my balls off for a 4k back in 2020, now its straight up boring how easy it is.
Lmao win streaks like this aren't even a thing since MMR was introduced unless dude is tanking his MMR offstream, which I actually wouldn't doubt. I almost never dodge and try to win and I get paired against sweat teams every night while guys like OhTofu are out there dumpstering babies every night live on Twitch
-
This add on is important for accessibility, so our hard of hearing friends shouldn't be allowed to have a chance to play Spirit?
-
You can tell the ones that never play killer cause they make ludicrous statements like "don't camp in end game no matter what that's no skill pressure the 99 gates and practice chase!"
-
You can't tell the killers who is a SWF in the lobby, that'll ruin it for casual SWFs just trying to have fun cause they'll get dodged all the time! You know, the ones that love to run the killer into multiple Head On stuns, do full Boil Over/Sabo builds and run RPD offerings, and the ones that run the killer by double lockers and get in the locker so they can get flashlight saves everytime. We're just having a fun time with our friends, bro!
-
Auto dead hard has definitely been a thing for a long time but good luck getting the devs to actually ban for it even if the evidence is obvious that they shouldn't be getting frame perfect Dead Hards EVERY single time (IE they play like a complete potato falling for basic mind games the rest of the match)
-
But my favorite content creators say SWF isn't a problem and doesn't give any advantages! Me and my solo queue mates run the killer into Head On stuns and double locker flashlight saves ALL the time. My solo queue mates also always stop that gen I had 90% done in the corner from regressing too much after the killer kicks it when he pressures me off it. My solo queue teammates are always on the ball and get right over to that hex that I ran by in chase. I communicate telepathically with my solo queue teammates telling them not to come save me and just rush gens while the killer proxy camps me and I have Deliverance/DS
-
Are you playing crossplay off? I'm on PS5 with crossplay. From 5 PM until like 1 AM my killer queues are very fast, 30 seconds or less. It's during the day when they're very long. You don't want to play killer during the day anyways, that's when the sweatiest of sweats are out in force
-
Here's my philosophy on hatch. I only give hatch to fellow PlayStation players and they either have to be an obvious newbie player, or someone who didn't give up and kept trying to help the team no matter how the game was going, meaning they finished a gen or saved their mate when they could have hid for hatch.
Besides that, I almost never give hatch because I get teabagged and trash talked a lot when I lose playing 100% fair
I definitely don't give hatch to juicers ever cause they're usually on PC and probably are cheating anyways.
-
Killers are enjoying an advantage at the noob levels and against full solos, which it's always been like that. After adjusting to the DH nerf, high MMR survivors and sweaty SWF are still punking all killers not named Nurse or Blight easily. Once reassurance comes out, SWF escape rate will jump even more IMO

Because believe it or not a big crowd of Dbd players don't roam the forums or social media communities where game etiquette gets shared around a lot. You'd be surprised how many killers unironically prioritize facecamping and tunneling just to win. Or survivors who rely on staying hidden and going for hatch escapes. The issue isnt the players but the game design.
What game etiquette? Whenever I go out of my way to avoid camping and tunneling, I get teabagged and ######### talked
-
It's just a mind game, bro! Grow thicker skin!
-
You want to nerf the worst killer in the game?
-
You're 100% exaggerating. You are not getting facecamped at 5 gens every game. Not even bothering to read the rest of your post
-
This map is a complete sh1thole. I hate it

Walter Sullivan from Silent Hill 4.
I don't know about you, but I'd also like a Butcher legendary skin from SH: Origins

Like imagine if Chucky reacted like this whenever he got DSed or Head On lol

Chucky with voice lines (not the Mark Hamill one, the OG)

I feel like changing maps are at the bottom of their priority list

This is expected behaviour from BHVR. Sometimes they release a licensed chapter with a ridiculously broken perk to help it sell. For example, when Ash vs Evil Dead launched Mettle of Man was grossly overpowered only to be nerfed a few months later.
This. Same with Circle of Healing with Mikaela
-
Reported a subtle cheater yesterday for this. He was last survivor with hatch available. I hit him and he got an insane 7+ second speed boost with ridiculous distance and he went directly to hatch. He was on my screen whole time it was obvious, no overcome or anything to explain that. I looked up his profile on steam and he has 1k hours and is a smaller twitch streamer. I'm really hoping BHVR bans him, I filled out everything right and provided video
-
It can happen. I don't really hear any complains about NOED anymore
-
The kill rates are juiced anyways. Plenty of killers get extra kills in EGC because of NOED, because teammates throw themselves at the killer making hopeless saves, etc. If all survivors just safely left and didn't make any risky saves in end game, the kill rates would be much lower.
-
Those darn insecure killer players, refusing to chase the 8,000 hour looper that has all the maps memorized and never messes up instead of giving themselves a chance to win by going for a target they can down before 3+ gens are done. What pathetic losers
-
Sweaty high MMR survivors will stick on gens till the survivor on hook has 5 seconds till they hit 2nd stage then dude runs up to keep him alive for another 30 preventing the killer from punishing gen rushing. Seems super fair and balanced
-
Yes console only crossplay PLEASE
-
Rebecca Wesker outfit from RE Zero please
And Sheva little red riding hood skin
-
BHVR should program it so that killers are forced to go for 12 hooks so everyone has fun and SWF never loses!
-
A more positive thing to say would be making the game more fun and fair for the killer role rather than "punishing" people for playing with their friends. It doesn't matter though, everyone knows that SWF doesn't give any advantages, Scott and Tofu told me so
-
I'd say upwards of 90% of survivors that escape teabag at the exit gates regardless of how the killer played
-
Hmm let's see...
One could play completely fair, never tunneling or camping, lose because of it, and get teabagged at the exit gates and told gg ez unalive yourself
OR
The killer could hard tunnel out a weak link, greatly improve his chances of winning, and then get teabagged and told gg ez unalive yourself
I know which one I would choose to do
-
Survivors only wanna play against M1 killers they can run for 5 gens and teabag at the exit gates
-
How did people manage back when Nurse had 5 blinks?
People will DC against a Myers. They don't care. They get mad if they get found first or they horribly misplay a loop or something and they're gone

I’m curious..
Has BHVR ever explained why they decided kills and escapes determine ”skill” (for the sake of MMR) rather than the other categories players can pip with?
They basically said that if you're doing all the skilled stuff in the game that it would be reflected in your ability to escape/get kills
-
I would absolutely love console only crossplay. PC players have huge advantages on top of the cheating epidemic
-
I understand your frustration, but why don't you check out this new Feng Min skin

Yeah Hexy has a crazy win rate since patch and mechanically he's pretty #########.
Hexy also was blatantly abusing the Overcharge/CoB bug the entire time despite chat telling him about it. He also frequently hard camps and tunnels, anything to win while simultaneously whining about that stuff when he plays survivor. I love the guy and I think he has the most entertaining DbD stream, but probably not the best reference for balance concerns
-
Yeah what the other guy said. You can practice and get a lot of points by just never killing anyone. You don't even have to worry about pity kills. I've had one survivor give me a kill when I had a bad game once in my entire time playing DbD and I'm like devotion 23

They don't know it's him when he plays with a different name / skin than usual. Actually many games he looped the killer well but his potato teammates would just not do gens and he ends up losing anyway. I would say it was a pretty normal solo queue experience. In one of the games he even got camped + tunneled:
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1555923061?t=01h37m38s
Edit: timestamp doesn't seem to work, but it's at 1:38:30 in the video above
I didn't mean they literally know it's him, I mean that a decent killer can tell right away if a player is a good looper and just bail without too much time investment to find an easier target
-
Here's a video where ya boy tru3ta1ent puts on a clinic on how to hard tunnel with Pyramid Head
-
Wow dude you looped for 3 gens against an M1 killer on Ormond! Somebody get this guy a Team Oracle tryout!
-
A survivor is only as good as his team. If the killer is decent, he's not gonna chase probzz for very long. He'll get him when he saves his teammate and he's out in the open. He'll go for a significantly easier target
-
Just stand in the corner until they do gens and leave, or if you're a fog whisperer, DC! Why even entertain a group of people that are playing solely to make the game as miserable as possible
-
This map is a sh1thole. Main building has multiple infinites, tons of strong loops everywhere, ridiculous hitboxes on bushes that screw over tons of killers like Leatherface, Trickster, Huntress, and Billy
-
Wahhhhh the game got a bit less survivor sided, I'm out of here!!! I can't moonwalk and clicky clicky in the killer's face then E to the pallet anymore
