To be fair survivors didn't get Nurse nerfed. Survivors and killers agreed her add-ons needed nerfed. Then BHVR went batshit with power bars. Also I'd say across the history of DbD survivors have received more nerfs. Granted most were needed.
As for the op. Other than the game being heavily survivor sided I agree. The power bars on Billy and Bubba are a terrible idea.
Aside from being bugged a competent nurse will still wipe the floor with 99.9% of the playerbase so I don't see the issue. She is still absolutely the power role on most maps

I wouldn’t touch Myers. I think he’s well balanced and doesn’t need nerfed or buffed in anyway. A good combination of skill and patience with added bonuses of stealth and the godly T3 vault speeds and lunge but also has reasonable counterplay.
Oh that's why he never gets played and killermains who get frustrated but aren't good enough for nurse switch to billy with insta-saw addons.
Because Myers is very balanced while Billy is also very balanced altho billy is basically better than myers in everything except for having a bigger terrorradius , which at his speed doesn't matter much since he will still catch survivors before they can hide unlike other 32m TR killers with the exception of doc.
Oh yeah, billy's a bit harder to play than myers, what a downside.

It's not about the 1v1 with Billy, it's about a changing meta that plays too well into his hands. If I spawn in on Pale Rose or Dead Dawg Saloon and hear a chainsaw, I already know it's gonna be a hatch game. I already know he's gonna be on our asses at every unhook and we'll have one dinky pallet next to a tree as our defense. Maps are having less and less pallets, and he was made when maps had a ton of them.
Also there's this little fact that other killers cannot be brought up to his level. How the heck would you buff myers to billy's strenght unless the maps were so small or convoluted that the chainsaw is pointless for mobility anyways.

I mean lets take a stroll down memory lane pal. Nurse survivors got nerfed into the ground. Legion survivors got nerfed even when they had second lowest pickrate so combine that with all his nerfs when he first came out. Billy is obviously right now. Ruin got nerfed because survivors couldn't hit a skillcheck. Survivors get a basically ds buff lose pallet vacuums some infinites and instaheals (which people now use for the people for mixed with the cheryl perk). So i mean. Im sure i could go back and look at the past patches and ill see a lot more killer nerfs than survivors and a lot more survivor buffs than killer buffs. Although i already know how biased you are its a forum meme at this point but i hope your not oblivious.
So because barely anyone could play nurse it was okay to have a killer that in competent hands would ALWAYS 4k against literally 99.9% of the community if played by a competent nurse player?
Ruin didn't get nerfed, the new ruin is better against very good survivors who would hit those skillchecks anyways, I prefer the new ruin over the old one ANY day both in terms of balance and in terms of gameplay as it didn't make sense to crush survivors who cant hit skillchecks even harder than I already would while the great ones who are hard to deal with in the first place would be unaffected by ruin.
Old ruin was a crutch for bad killers who wanted to stomp easy survivors, a perk which I favoured of nerfing too by the way and I'm glad they did it.

Respect brutha. Finally some intellect to work with. All of your points are valid and I agree with them all. Strong, very much. Let me ask you this. Did your team lose (4k or 3k and a hatchout) almost every Billy you faced?
If the answer is no, he didn’t need the guage.
The incredibly dumb things that you say while dismissing people as "dumb" is astounding.
"Durr, if you don't lose all the time then the char is balanced".
Scottjund got a 50 killstreak on Oni and would probably be able to do the same with Billy, by that logic Oni is OP and needs nerfing since he'd be able to pull a 90%+ winrate. Heck he pulls 32 4ks in a row with speedlimiter bubba, nerf all killers now I guess.
And here I was thinking that tru3 is a slow thinker.
This is why gamedevs should almost never listen to their audience when it comes to balancing their game.

There’s an old saying that definitely applies here:
“It’s better to be silent and have people think you’re stupid rather than opening your mouth and proving them right”.
If you had nothing to add to the issue at hand, why even bother posting anything at all?
Your ad homines are petty mate, especially while you're making such a dumb thread, maybe you should learn to reflect.
-
I won't tell you why he needs it, there's no point, the changes have been made and they will not be reverted, I've been saying that hillbilly is holding back general killer balance with no other killers being able to close the gap to him for years and it's finally been done. He's a relict of different times where survivors were able to loop people for 2 minutes straight even if the killer was way better.
Now that Hillbilly's been nerfed further gamebalance changes CAN be done FINALLY like making maps smaller etc.

In my own opinion moris take no skill hook 1 time then bam mori It's not the actual way the game Is meant to be played It's like an alternative. Unlike the hook someone 2-3 times to kill you can just mori them after 1 hook and most killers love to tunnel with a mori. Moris are simply described as "taking the easy way out".
Repeat after me: DBD is not a competitive game, we're mostly here to have fun.

wow dude, you’re literally all over the place. Firstly, I didn’t even so much as mention Spirit, because she has ALWAYS had the power guage, and it works fine.
Billy is (was) a well-balanced fairplay killer. What makes you think he NEEDS a guage?
Leatherface’s only big weakness was too often he was forced to me an M1 killer due to chainsaw charge time and bugs. So why do you think he needs a guage?
Nurse just needed less blinks, we got it (even without the guage). So why do you think she needs a guage?
Little tip for you, if you’re claiming to have a different opinion than someone else...how about you give specifics instead of vaguely saying “They need it!” to help justify why and how you concluded the different belief. Debate 101 dude.
You're biased beyond belief if you think that billy didn't need a gauge. He would've NEVER been released in this state in current DBD. or as Snowbawlzz put it:
""omg they added a guage to my perfectly balanced killer with infinite cross-map mobility and one-hit downs ######### ######### #########""
Your whole thread is ridiculous and pointless and you wouldn't have made this thread if it wasn't for the billy changes.
-
It's heavily favouring well coordinated survivors that don't care about pipping and just want to escape.
Which are RARE.
Billy needed the Gauge.
New LF needs a gauge.
Spirit needs a gauge.
Killers who don't need a gauge don't have one so what's your point?
This is nothing but a disguised "omagah they nerfed Billy, the most balanced who at the same time is better than the whole roster in 90% of situations, killer"

Unrelated to the topic at hand, but when I don't have enough juice to blind the killer but still hope for a distraction, I'll use the last of the juice to click a few times to hopefully throw them off just enough to chase me. But it usually works in the rare circumstances I can do it!
I really don't get clicking your flashlight at the killer the entire game. Comes across as something an annoying child would do to be honest. No one is impressed by your ability to play DBD, the advanced hide-and-seek simulator.

Not related to age, from 12 year old kiddies screaming in fort nite voice chat to people at my age (30) taking their time to text via external console chat.
And yes rapid crouching in killer view or flashlight licking are mostly nothing else but saying "nanana you can't get me". Sometimes to taunt for a distraction (which never really works with me) or a show of imagined superiority.
It is not the action itself but the mentality standing behind that, which should be considered toxic.

Toxic strategies should not be encouraged at all or how many respected sports allow toxicity to "throw off" your enemy? Flip the Bird in a tennismatch or football match and see what happens.

Yeah, the game isn't balanced around SWF my ass. Look at the survival stats, they prove you wrong. Also you ever heard of the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Not everyone's gonna stop playing because you cry every time you lose a game. You would be the one punished by bad queue times if that was the case and it's no where near as fun if the killer can hear you. The uncertainty of what the killer is gonna do is the fun of it, going against new players. It's a multiplayer game, just because you have no friends to play with doesn't mean you should try to take it out on the rest of us. Maybe if you spent half the time playing dbd than you do right now you can get some friends that would play with you, though I believe you will need to improve your social skills first and learn how to integrate into normal society without blaming your failures on everyone else
This whole comment is pure fail:
The weighs of the many outweigh the few, outside of being edgy bullshit and almost a counterthesis to how life actually works in for example action movies and military (dunno, never been to military but those action movies must be onto something) the few in this case are the 3/4man SWFs because they are by far outweighed by solo/duo survivors with solos even suffering from 3mans due to them often having a herd mentality and treating the solo and killer like #########.
The killrates are only 50% and that's with ALL the ridiculous DCing and suiciding on hook and doing challenges that are counterproductive to survivor gameplay across all ranks. They're far higher in redranks.

Oh I see, so at some unknown point in the match the killer becomes entitled to all the kills and points because he is in the "power role". I see where you are coming from now. If this is the case maybe NPC survivors would work better because clearly they are just props in the killer's game.
No, it's because he beat you guys he's "entitled" to those kills because he beat you, what are you even complaining about, the game always gives you a chance to escape no matter how slim it is.
-
tbh if you already 3k'd and then you slug the last guy altho you have no clue where the other is just to find hatch then I'll DC too.

Then just hook the survivor before you close the hatch and I think why most people don't like NOED is because it often rewards bad killers as it activities when the killer literally fails their objective.
The game "literally" is made so killers fail at their objective unless the survivors screw up.

Now you are just being ridiculous. My request that the killer not get rewarded for literally doing nothing is reasonable, what you just said is outlandish and childish.
About half the time the doors spawn within sight range of each other, literally the killer just stands at the halfway point and swivels back and forth. There is zero hope of getting out of that game. The kill has just been given to the killer for doing nothing, just luck. Killer-sided
He also had however much time there was from 1 to 0 gens to locate the hatch and generally knows where it is if it comes down to a hatch situation because he was free to roam the map w/o worry of being killed, thus starting the EGC. Killer-sided
It's supposed to be killer sided if you're the lone survivor and didn't manage to power gens.
You lost at that point, killers don't have a pity-kill mechanic.
-
I don't give hatch, I close it and let the last survivor escape. It's better for statistics so killers have a higher chance to get buffs.

That's because other perks are too situational. It's almost always a waste of perk slot to use them you never get to use them. It's easy to change the meta. But dev are scared to make strong perk since MoM. So we're stuck in the second chance meta
What you're suggesting is powercreep. There's no way to buff up for example Lightfooted to the level of DS. Perks being situational would make the game way more fun.

Have you not played in a while? The entity kills you, not the killer. So even if the killer just stands in one place and never even sees you, they get credit for the kill if the entity gets you. I think there should be no points of credit given to the killer, since they didn't actually kill you.
You're talking about some theoretical scenario that NEVER occurs. If the killer does not do anything and the EGC kills you then you were AFK or you didn't manage to find the exit in 2 god damn minutes at which point I'd ask you if you have any sense of direction.

Yes, so? I check profiles of survivors before playing, it's rare that if I see somebody who has 8k hours that I'll play anything else than nerfed infinite freddy.
Altho last time I faced an 8k survivor I recked him with pyramid head after I gave up on him and managed to get one of his SWF into the basement on autohaven hehe, no DS+basement=impossible to recover from snowball to the point where a guy who easily spun me like 3 times to a point where I even lost him DC'd (I never faced somebody this good). You get more points for saving someone in End Game Collapse. Honestly the numbers are nuts. One match I didn't do any healing at all, I might have unhooked one person prior to EGC. EGC started, I ran and unhooked one person, healed them up, and got iridescent altruism. That's nuts, dude. You can make up all your lack of healing at the end game, where it matters most, and even if you die you can still get a pip and probably top 2 scores in the game.
The guy above me said that emblems dont mean jackshit unless im mistaken. I would usually agree with you as I neither care about kills nor escapes, heck on my killers I TECHNICALLY almost never 4k because I manipulate the statistics by letting the last survivors do all gens if possible or let them escape through the gates (devs are probably tracking gen vs hatch escapes)
It would look really bad for killers if a guy who in the statistics plays less than 20 hours of killer per month 4ks constantly on freddy on redranks while also going merciless and I think more killers should play like me, complaining on forums does nothing but manipulating the statistics in a way where the devs can only tell if they watch the game closely is way more useful

Yes, you said it yourself, you refuse to learn them, that's like me complaining about dying when I refuse to learn how to loop, every killer has a different ability and you should ideally learn them all, I can't play often as killer because my lobbies are like 15 minutes atm but I 3/4K with killers I hate, I'm literally dreading this next tome because I don't like or play hag, but I played her at rank one yesterday and managed a 4K, they weren't the best survivors but with every killer going "all survivors at rank one are boosted" how are y'all apparently losing so much? You're either going against world class players and getting beat or you're going against boosted survivors and should be winning a lot more.
You're strawmanning, killers who complain about the game being survivorsided are not losing much, Scottjund has a 32 kills speedlimiter bubba killstreak and an unbeaten oni-killstreak yet still he is objective enough to be able to tell that he'd lose to optimal survivors and proposed several changes which would be hard nerfs for survivors (the devs probably have the early game collapse idea from him that they're working on right now)
I refuse to learn mechanically hard killers in a game that I barely play 2 hours per week nowadays, that doesn't mean that I lose, it just means that if I want to win I'll stick to Pyramid Head or Freddy, especially on freddy I have no recollection on when I've lost (0k/depip) after his rework with most of the time then gens not even being done.

I first hit rank 1 in 2017 when the game was actually survivor sided, it's nowhere and not even close to being what it was back then, it's easy mode now, I think the issue is a lot of people see this game and think it's bully simulator where you get to come in as killer and murder a bunch of people easy, but it's not like that nor should it ever be, and then they get mad when they can't, sure I agree, if you're going into a game with the mindset you just wanna escape it's super easy to, you avoid killers as much as you want and ignore saves, but as a killer, if i want to come in and ruin someones game i catch them, hook them and face camp them, both sides have their "this isn't fun at all" sides.
The game is still survivor sided and that's coming from people who have a well over 80% winrate on their killers because unlike you they realize that they win because the other side screws up, not because they are somehow able to beat a system that is tilted towards a very lenient 2k.
You'll be hard pressed to find anybody say that most of the killer roster is in the power role, none of the big streamers who have ridiculous hours in this game would agree with you as it's simple math and gamedesign.

Nah, the game is super duper easy my dude, has been for a very very long time, bad players are likely to always be bad, especially when they spend all their time on the forums complaining about hypothetical maths equations that assume the player is bad because they can't pressure gens
"Just pressure gens dummy"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DggcHI1boFM
"Wait, why is nobody playing michael myers, clown, piggy or the other lowtier killers outside of challenges."
I have a very high killrate for somebody who only has about 400 hours as killer, on old freddy I had a killrate of 90% (scummy playstyle yes, but no moris) when I still actively played this game beyond a casual game with friends. The difference between you and me is that I understand that a survivor being a derpy potato that gets hit within 10 seconds of me finding him and gets downed within 30 seconds is a potato, not me being some gamer who was able to hold m1 so the auto-aim or "aimdressing" downs the survivor for me that falls to the easiest mindgames.
Luckily genspeeds will be adressed with an "early game collapse" just as broken killers have been adressed. This is a casualgame first and foremost, it was never envisioned with ppl nolifing and optimizing fun out of it.

5K hours with all maxed killers but yea sure I'm a survivor main, sorry I don't subscribe to the "killer is weally weally hawrd"
It's not, because this game is casual as heck with not enough rank disparity. Even at rank1 you'll either face potatoes, people trolling the ######### out of each other or ppl doing dumbass challenges or ppl like me who will simply go for the BP grind.
Especially killers will tryhard more regularly because they have nobody to goof around with.
Killer was never hard, it's always been the same gameplay, heck DBD is not hard in the first place, it's a game made for people who'd usually sit at home and play ######### like walking simulators as can easily be seen with the original gamedesign where it was literally impossible to win against a survivor with a functioning brain to the extent where they released the nurse.
Once you face competent survivors who's sole goal is to escape even if somebody is left behind you'll get a 1k at most.

Maybe you should play killer against them if you're so confident that you could beat them. Oh, they're not bothering anymore because again, the devs are fully aware of the balancing this game because doing anything else would kill DBD in less than a month.
Any decent killer knows that unless you play nurse or spirit, the game is in the survivor's hands, it's simple math calculated by the devs so the game amounts most of the time to a 2k unless survivors get downed next to each other.
"What's the issue, play Nurse then".
No, I am not willing to learn a killer that requires so much muscle-memory in a game that doesn't reward my time investment in the first place. I could stick to freddy on whom I have a well over 90% killrate but playing only 1 char gets boring really fast.
