I enjoy the one-and-done approach to solo q.
Sometimes your teammate are great, sometime they are a mixed bag.
To me, it keeps in interesting, every match is a fresh start.

I could get behind this for the change. I stopped using Distortion once I realized how it actually hurts your teammates.

Hit the pause button as you get hooked, all sounds are dampened in the pause menu so it's not as bad.

Unfortunately, BHVR only has the rights for content from the first film, Halloween 1978.
Any content from other films in the series would require different licensing.
Only skin they could still add would be the bed sheet, but might look a bit silly watching him walk around like that.

My Outbreak Breakout trophy popped as soon as I jumped on PS5 after the update, and I was only at 55% progression.

I always thought that would be a nice addition to Overwhelming Presence, to make that perk the Ace in the Hole for killer, plus give an underused perk more value.

I remember when the first person dead/escaped in a SWF could rat out the killer's build to the rest of their team.

I look for someone who is not loud and obnoxious, like constantly yelling, or playing with chatty friends.
The less commentary, the better for me.
Also, if someone uses the words "Drunk" or "Toxic" in their title, no chance I'll even click on the channel.

Ironic to see this, the 13th was one of the most unfun survivor nights I can remember in a long time. Lots of killers playing in a way to
intentionally ruin all four survivior's games. Full moon or something i guess.

All the changes seem pretty good to me.
Personally, I'd like Lucky Break to work with tokens. You start with 3 tokens on Lucky Break, once you get injured, you can activate one token for 30 seconds total of no grunts of pain, scratch marks, or blood.
I spend a lot of time injured, I'd rather activate it to use to lose a killer in chase, rather than have it run our while I'm on a generator and not in need of using it.

Really looking forward to whatever game Gun Media is currently working on, I'm sure it will be a day-one purchase for me.

I can only speak for myself, but as someone who plays solo, I wait to make sure nobody needs help/rescue. Someone might go down, I stick
around in case they need help. Once everybody is accounted for, then I'll leave. Even forcing the killer to chase you out can buy another
survivor time to open the other gate, get a hook rescue, etc.

What if the bloodweb had a refresh option? If you don't like what you see, just hit Refresh Web until you see a bloodweb worth spending some points on. This way, you only spend points on webs you choose to use.

Deliverance, your aura is white to all other survivors so they know you're able to get off yourself so they don't have to stop what they're doing to come save you.

You should have seen it back in the day:
.Characters didn't start with their personal perks unlocked, you had to get them at lvl 5, 10, and 15.
.You could lose pip at Rank 20.
.No tutorial
.Blood point offerings gave next to nothing compared to now
If you stick with it, you will definitely improve. You could even find some players to play Custom games to get use to the game.

Solo Survivor here, I run Kindred regularly. You just can't beat the information it gives you, but also your team when you are hooked.

Hex: Amnesia: Your savage blows concuss and disorientate your prey.
Landing a basic attack causes a survivor to lose one random perk.
This affect lasts as long as the hex totem is active.
Cleansing this totem will disable one random perk for all survivors still in the trial for 40/50/60 seconds.

I was definitely disappointed when I saw the hospital gown didn't come with the bandages like in H4, seems like a missed opportunity there.

A bit off topic, but I've always felt a good quality of life for Deliverance would be if the aura of a survivor with a successfully-active Deliverance has a white aura so other survivors know you can get off the hook yourself.
Might not be necessary for SWF, but I play solo and that info would help me out.

I'm with you, I just go with the saying "Be the change you want to see in the world". I never play toxic, and no matter what side i play, i try to see that all 5 people have a fun match, really all a person can do.

Yeah, I feel bad for anyone having a bad game. It amazes me how many people lack empathy, and treat people in a way which they would not want to be treated.

Survivor: Probably t-bagging at an open exit gate, I can't believe those cowards don't see the irony in it.
Killer: Hooking someone then stand there smacking them until they're dead.

Definitely agree, either hide all survivor game tags, or reveal the killer's game tag by the ping bar.

I like to play for fun, if the killer's user name is I_Will_Facecamp_U_lol_69 or something, I'd like to see that so I can find a new lobby with a person not set to make a player's life miserable for their own amusement.

Yes please, even having the killer's name down by the ping bar to let you see their Steam/PS4/Xbox1 profile. It gave me something to do while waiting for everyone to ready up.

The game is so much more newby-friendly than it once was. I've been playing since the day the game released on console, in those days:
.No tutorial
.Survivors didn't have their own perks auto-unlocked
.Blood point offerings offered very little blood points compared to now.
Yes, Ruin is miserable for new players, but you practice. You get better. And if you don't want to bother with Ruin, you look for the totem.
I'm personally a survivor main and even to me this change was not necessary.

I figured it was just buggy. My game crashed twice on Saturday, I saved the footage incase I received some hate mail from someone thinking I DCed on purpose.

Killer: Not This Time
When you are stunned by a pallet, receive one token up to a total of 1/2/3 tokens.
Next time you should be successfully stunned by a pallet, you catch the pallet and
return it to its original position. The pallet cannot be used again for another 6/8/12
seconds by a survivor.
Survivor: Better You Than Me
When you complete a generator, another survivor who is more than 18/24/32
metres from you will have their aura exposed to the killer for 6/8/12 seconds.

I go for a Thank You message on PS4, hoping their messages are open. I'm not too familiar with gestures, I don't want to do something which could be considered disrespectful. I recently just learned survivors greet fellow survs with a double t-bag, Ii hate to think of how many people I've "left hanging" by not returning the gesture.

I agree with se05239, you need to take breaks if you find yourself having an unenjoyable experience. If you play when you aren't enjoying it, it can really make you start to dislike the game.

I know. I was asking if it had appeared before. They removed it because of a bug concerning it and wake up on the shrine.
I think it will be 2700 next time it is on the shrine, but I wanted to be sure.
Oh whoops, sorry I misunderstood. It probably will be 2700 when it's added again, but it would be nice if it wasn't!

First time a perk appears in the Shrine, it is always 2700. Next time it appears, it should only be 2000 shards.

This could be a good reward for reaching prestige 3, level 50. I've always felt there should be a reward for that, maybe it unlocks the blood for all that character's outfits.

I've always felt Hex: Devour Hope should activate a dull totems once you get enough tokens to get some sort of benefit out of it, similar to how NOED activates once gates are powered. Maybe have a dull totem activate once you get 3 tokens on your Devour Hope, so it isn't found 10 seconds into a game when it is useless.

The devs have addressed this, and they seem to understand the desire for it, but they feel it could easily be used to troll. I get it though, we've all been shamelessly farmed unsafely by someone for their precious WGLF stacks.

I kind of agree with Drunky, some people just want to make another person's game miserable. I'll never understand what motivates these people, but getting upset is only giving this person the exact reaction they are after.

Maybe they could leave BT as it is, but add the original version back into the general perk pool as a different perk.
