    All good.

    Ps, Nerf LEGION (jokes)

Bleh. Come to Feedback and look over the 6 pages of good ideas. That many people want/need Legion to be in a better place.

Also, NERF EVERYTHING! (jokes. if you nerfed everything the game would be so stale)

  • @TheGorgon said:

I know many people like their ability, but I personally don't and would rather they rework an entirely new power when they have the chance.

I wouldn't mind a rework that KEPT the Rushdown Style. That's why I love Legion and why they are unique.

Interesting, the post that you said "What" must have been the one I clicked quite on, rereading, I suspect my reply initially was meant for SpaceCoconut not you.

I withdraw my comments directed your way.

Thank you. Have fun in the Fog, and let's put this behind us.

Then you need to make your posts read less biased if people are reading that way, the vast majority of killers on here are so biased it's not funny. I'll back track on thinking your that type for now then and give you the benefit of the doubt.

.... Tell me how I sounded biased in what you mentioned first. I'll wait.

  • Nope! I love playing Legion! Just wish it didn't feel like i'm taking the weighted clothes off when I use other Killers. Buff Legion please!

  • @Tensor said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/765161#Comment_765161

    A lot of irony there.

Feral Fenzy I think shouldnt see people in lockers, but with that said, I have stated in other threads that Legion does need a little buffing, Im just not sure what as I dont really play him.

Insta's, as i said "Insta's are going away. So you can cross that off.", I think you need to look at the PTB as insta med kits are being changed, perhaps check the patch notes before commenting on that one.

DS, just down them then if there are being toxic and let them bleed. My killer comments, I see you missed the point on my listing those, it was more to show that the Killer is OP/ Survivor OP argument is constant and neither side acts like saints.

    Chill

You chill first and stop insulting me.

If you don't play Legion, don't bother saying what they need and don't need. FF let's you see people without DW. That's ALL Legion has going for them.

Guess what? I was in the PTB. I already know buddy boy. I was there in the thread when the Dev said it was Broken and took no skill to reset Chases. Good job shooting yourself in the foot.

No you acted like all Killers want easy games and nerf Survivors! Buff all Killers! Son't let Survivors EVEN MOVE! That is not the case. I, for one, am tired of people accusing me of being biased.

  • @Tensor said:

4 survivors completing gens together will take longer to have the gens completed throughout the match. It is faster to have 4 survivors to complete separate ones. It basic DbD knowledge that working on the same gen is not the most efficient strategy.

    Google it

Which is why I think it's dumb Killers have one that makes it more likely. Pay attention.

  • Thats a good idea

There's the movie or just the lore of Krampus.. but ya... would be neat if he had some built in franklin's or something (Santa gives/krampus takes)... and/or did something to items... maybe left "gifts" that malfunction or turn on survivors. Doing something special to chests.

Maybe has some ability to block doorways/escapes. Like a decoy body or jumpscare puppet out of nowhere.

  • @Tensor said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/765137#Comment_765137

Survivor favored, but I do play both. I just get peeved with all the killer mains constantly complaining about survivors and ignoring their own OP perks and items. The game should be balanced so each side has a chance to win. If people lack skill or make mistakes, then that is the side that should lose the match.

But, you just want to have everything buffed for you and nerfed for them so you can guarantee a 4k every match. But im sure you will also be here crying about killer wait times as the survivor mains quit or change to killer as a result.

Can you not see the result of your constant vitriol about anything that survivors have you you could work around or bait them into using up early!

Why would you want a constant easy mode? You would get bored rather fast.

Also! About this! Everyone says Killers want easy 4ks. I DON'T!!! I want a good abck and forth match that's FUN!

    Stop Generalizing!

Insta's are going away. So you can cross that off.

DS, already nerfed to heck and almost useless if your unhooked and the killer isnt there.

Dead Hard, Really, that slight boost is an issue for you? Lol

Sprint burst? Really, its a temporary boost, At the START of a chase....gees man, them some petty complaints. Surprised you didnt mention Mettle or Man, which was a little to OP when first added I'll admit.

On the flip side, Mori's, Insta downs (though, you complain about insta heals...hrmm) NOED, Feral Fenzy seeing people in lockers, Camping, Tunneling etc etc. I can go on about stuff to

As far as this, let me break this down for you

Even the DEVS said Insta was broken. Peanits is quoted on here as saying that.

DS is rather useful for the people that abuse 60 seconds of "You can't hook me!"

Dead Head is in a good spot right now. Wanna know how i know? It's Meta for Survivors.

Sprint Burst isnt an issue for me. You run away, cool, I chase you.

Moris need to be looked at.

Insta downs ALWAYS TAKE SOME KIND OF WORK.

NOED is not OP, in fact most games it doesn't go off cause of survivors knowing to cleanse Totems.

FF seeing people in lockers. It's not an aura. Legion's been beat enough, leave there name outta your mouth.

Camping is punished by doing Gens. This has been talked about here till people are blue in the face.

Tunneling is also something that just happens. Sorry some Killers feel forced to do it or don't know better to NOT GIVE YOU ADVANTAGE by keeping to ONE target and not pressuring.

Don't mention me again if you are just gonna try and insult me and not talk to me like an adult.

Ah, so you cant see any of the killer favored things then. Nice mental block there.

No, and if you paid attention to any of my previous posts you'd know I see both sides. I literally could not see why you mentioned me and what sense your post meant.

I asked "Why do we have an offering that separates Survivors? It makes no sense." Now you are ranting about some kind of "Mental Block" i seem to have over not making any sense out of

"4 people on one gen is slower progress than 4 on separate gens. That is why.

If one is found, the other don't have to run away from the gen for awhile, therefore, its still faster to get the gens done."

Yeah, I seen that part, and eventually the lore will change because there will likely be something that can help survivors or killers escape since The Observer and The Auris is a thing now. :(

I'm not trying to get into your grill, respecting your space, but do you have a better idea or a better way to balance them for people who think they might not be at the best spot? Thanks! Open to other suggestions.

Fix "OP" Ebony. Adding skill checks is silly and redundant. There is literally no reason to do that, on top of then if someone messes up or ties they get Launched across the map.

This isnt Dragonball Z Teniechi (or however you spell it) where you have to do paper rock scissors to get a move to go through.

    @UlvenDagoth who cares, it’s not a secret he’s weak.

The gen across the map, the one in the rift room 2nd floor as a killer you have to go into the room up the stairs and across the top. Surv just drop down a hole next to the gen and have multiple halls to choose from.

i like to know what’s up with the double/triple pallet hallways.

The catwalks make you chase surv up there (or give up) then they got a quick vault that slows you down. Seen a lot of BL abused here. Reminds me of Haddonfield.

LF mains that you insulted like @GrootDude might

  • @Zender said:

Just over 300 hours on killer, play LF (I know) a lot and on my best days I hit rank 8-10 (anyone else who can do better I'm surprised unless they use other killers to keep their rank low then post awesome photos of how they are awesome at LF at rank 3).

Annnnnyways, I'm running around halls in that place that have 2-3 pallets in the hall. Then there is all the lockers, stairs with a vault in the loft above them, etc.

This team was coordinated with 4 Adren, 3 BT, etc. seeing just unstoppable groups at higher and higher ranks now. Not sure if they were SWF.

Anyone else have trouble with this map? Seems like this and Haddonfield I am about to be punked. They used an offering to pick this too.

Also, a few of the LF mains would be a tad peeved with you for that start.

  • Well, most of those pallets are made how Devs want to make pallets now. Unsafe so it's not just circles.

  • No.

Mostly cause Devs will not toss away the work on the animations.

  • ..... I thought just alot of people brought SB when i couldn't catch them in FF.... wadu heck

  • @TWiXT said:

They have good mobility, and can rarely injure all survivors with a well timed combo attack, but their power has been ultimately declawed. When legion was first released, survivors had a 30 second timer to mend the wound over 12 seconds, and dared not get hit again while mending because it not only reset the mend timer, it also reduced the time we had to mend before we'd go down. For obvious reasons this encouraged tunneling after the initial hit, and provided no counter play against them. I was all for a slight nerf, but what they've done is overkill... They completely removed the threat of the Deep Wound status by Pausing the timer whenever mending or in the killers TR, while inexplicably leaving it with a 30 second timer. Sure this prevents the Legion from "moonwalking" to exploit the timer, but the timer is so lenient that, Moonwalk or not, we still get more than enough time to get far enough away to mend and pause it anyway.

Thus their power now poses no threat, not only because they can't damage the timer any more, but also because it never ticks down enough to be a problem for us and ends up just wasting our time. Even worse, they dropped Legions movement/vaulting speed during frenzy, which was their primary strength against our best escape perks/tactics, and allowed them to do what they do best: inflict DW on multiple survivors.

IMO, They either need their old movement/vaulting speeds back, or the timer reduced to 10 seconds (5 with an additional Franks mix tape strike). That way we're either going to have to deal with multiple hits to the team more frequently (especially in large maps), or we'll have to immediately start mending the moment we're out of the TR if we don't want to go down. With these suggestions, Good survivors have decent enough escape perks to deal with the enhanced movement speed, and Moonwalking won't help the killer get us with the lowered timer.

Legion and their power used to be a threat, too much of a threat with some nasty exploitation that needed changes mind you, but at least it meant they were a challenge to face. Now however, they're just a mild and annoying inconvenience for us... I personally would like it better if one of my suggestions was implemented, because while they may not be as fun (read "Easy") to go up against, they would at least be able to provide a challenge at the Green-Purple ranks.

Yeah. I think more than this is needed, and have lobbied ideas and made a huge thread about it over on Feedback. What you say is true though. They removed ALOT of the killing power out of Legion. They over did the nerfing in almost every way. 50% loss of FF when you m1. Can't even see blood in FF. Slowing the movement... Legion can be looped while in FF. Playing as Legion feels like... fighting against your own character at times. We even get DS'ed at the end of our power. Legion is what got me back into DBD (Which is why i am so passionate about getting them looked at) and I never used the exploit. Now i'm doomed cause of the crippling nature of FF as it is now, and my enjoyment of Legion's "Rush Down" playstyle.

When you switch from your main character you enjoy, to another Killer and feel like the guy in an anime taking off the weighted clothes to fight for real this one time... Something is very very wrong.

  • @WickedKatz said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/764926#Comment_764926

Some maps like Macmillan are very thight, so you really end up running into survivors. And i dont know if i am the only one who RAPES my ears with the headsets, but i find it quite easy to hear survivors 8-10 meters away from me, either by their moans or steps. And you are very correct, some loops are very survivor sided, so you can't really get the kill fast. What i do in maps like Blood Lodge, that are very survivor sided, is the following. I eat pallets and force them to drop the most important loops, and that often works pretty well. I just chase right after the survivor and try to pull off a hit through the pallet or anything, and then DROP the chase to pressure other people. The Hook i lost is traded into resources the survivors lost and soon the map is a dead zone, and in that spot is where my build really synergizes. (I love to run STBFL, Pop, BS and Ruin on most m1 killers)

You are correct to mention some very coordinated teams, and on those cases you really are correct, against a flawless swf my belly boi is very weak. But again, i don't get Swf often, and if i do i just try my absolute best (they make mistakes to). Anyway, on all my time playing killer, the survivors didn't prevent me from forcing a 4 gen on them, the risk of working on the gens I selected to patrol always outweighed the risk of 3 gening themselves, and without any exception survivors just went for the other, further gens. Maybe i was incredibly lucky, or maybe this is a very reliable strategy

Woo, try not to use that word okay?

I can normally get a bead on Survivors injured because of my time maining Legion. Average players though? Not sure. Valid point, if they are injured. They wouldn't be at the start of the match at least. I have often worked if Brutal Strength would work for me, as I do not like the Enduring/ SF combo. Anyway, your strategy does sound solid IF the match lasts some time. Otherwise, gens are gonna pop and they are gonna leave.

I get alot of use out of Thrilling+ Surge+ STBFL+ Corrupt. But once again, I play Legion almost exclusively (I have fun with Ghost Face, Freddy, and like 2 others)

I am glad that you are rather good at Clown, as I respect anyone that has a favorite that isn't top tier but becomes REALLY good at time, as I have done that with Legion.

Higher Ranks would quickly become very very bad for an average player using the Lower tier Killers though. That should likely be addressed.

  • Example.

Cold Dirt TREMENDOUSLY reduces cooldown of FF (the stun)

    takes 0.6 seconds off.

  • Yall know my thoughts on it

  • @Mr_Goodman said:

what's the point of playing this game? All you see are sweaty killers that tunnel, use ruin, and bring ebony mori's Not surprised this game is dying.

You opinion, which is wrong. This game has been going strong for a while. Don't like playing it, then don't play. Stop trying to upset people.

  • Why do we have one that spreads them out more? It makes no sense.

  • @Objectively_speaking said:

I believe a good reasonable buff would be the following:

    1. 3 sec fatigue (4 seconds base)

    2. Pins proc on first hit (2nd now)

    3. Swap out increased KI range for speed add-ons (example <slightly>0.02 <moderately> 0.06 <tremendously> 0.1)

    4. Buff fume Mixtape: increase vault speed <window> 1.00 second (1.15 seconds base, max 0.95 seconds) <pallet> 1.20 seconds ( 1.35 seconds base, max 1.05).

    5. Frank's Mixtape (Now see blood or scratch marks also hitting a survivor affected by DW applies Hindered <2-5%> repair/heal speed debuff).

    6. Stab Wounds Study: removes 10 seconds from DW timer (5 seconds base).

    7. Hitting an already DW survivor applies hemerage effect until fully healed.

Tl;Dr only slightly changes are needed.

The speed add-ons aren't high enough to matter. Bump those a tickle.

You'd only have people running Fuming with that, as Legion can be looped in FF atm.

That would also make Franks REALLY strong, and honestly you should be able to see blood base.

    Hemorrhage does nothing.

Sadly, I do not agree with your proposed changes. They seem very very underwhelming.

  • @WickedKatz said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/764893#Comment_764893

Ok, so i will write everything. I did not write some things correctly, and i apologize for that. When i wrote kill, i meant put on the dying state. Let us suppose you are chasing a survivor and have both the perks BBQ and Pop, so you hook the survivor and see others working on the generator (while you are correct by saying 80 seconds isn't always the time to repair the gens, I used it for example purposes, I never researched how many seconds it takes while using each toolbox). Now while you move to the generator closest to you, it is very likely that the survivor working on the gens will go for the unhook, and it is also very likely you will run into each other. Now in that situation, you either have teamates commiting to the gens or unhooking the 1st mentioned survivor, and both scenarios can have a pretty good outcome for you. Either you sacrifice a gen and get two simultaneous hooks, which is a very OPRESSIVE momentum on the survivors, or you have no one working on gens, since they are busy healing the recently unhooked person. In the last case, you can just keep the chase and eventually kill the survivor, repeating the cicle. While Gens will get completed, you will also have sacrifice progress and injured survivors.

BUT This doesn't apply to some killers, like The Clown, which is a killer that can get a pretty big use out of Pop and Brutal, given that the easiest way to play him is to chew through pallets and gambit 2-3 gens, eventually winning the match at the ends since survivors wont really loop you anywhere

Someone really should look into tool box times. I wonder if anyone has?

Now, I'm not sure how likely the "running into each other" part will go, as most Survivors will hide as soon as they hear TR or avoid that area like the plague (ha.) But your example is a VERY optimized one for Killer. What if you don't see the person going for the unhook? What if they loop you too well before the other hook is taken care of? What if One heals the unhook while the Other works on gens? What if no one heals and just relies on Adren (which seems the "Meta") at the moment. There is Far too much that can change for games to be predicted.

In the case that you laid out, yes, that's really good for Killers. Will good Survivors let you do that though?

Your example with Clown also relies on a 3 gen it seems like (i am not sure as you were a tad vague) that good survivors will fight you tooth and nail for.

Yeah, I know. You guys are the rightful judges of things like this.

I've just been a Legion main since they came out was all. That's the only "expertise" i have here.

  • I really did love how inventive you were. Don't get me wrong. The amount of time you put into it is amazing. But you have to remember Killer is all about time management. Legion is all about Rush down. Take a moment, and then try again. I'd love to see any other ideas you have <3

An example. Sure you can dismantle one gen, but what about the other 4 survivors? They will be CRUSHING gens with no Killer or TR to make them stop.

  • I love playing Legion! But they are so bad right now. I got a 6 page "Rework Legion" thread over in Feedback if you wanna see some ideas from Legion mains on how to make them better! Kinda combining all the ones I agree with (With the OP's permission) to make a "One Stop Shop." as it were.

    That's fair. I'll wait.

  • ALso "branded" give all survivors 3 hits if you use FF, making FF pointless. Keeping the vaulting speeds means Legion can still be looped in FF. 6 seconds for the stun if you arn't paying attention? What?

No i'm sorry. I can't agree to these changes. I don't like the locker mechanic, The devs wont make a mimic killer and more importantly the more I read this the more it feels like even more of a nerf. I'm sorry but this needs ALOT of work. ALmost every single one of your changes would take more time then Trapper does setting up. I'm not gonna lose a match cause of my power.

  • The one instant thing I see as an issue as I am reading through is the Devs have said they will NEVER make a disguise Killer. Still reading though.
