Fixing this.

They haven't changed them though

Welp, As of the latest PTB, it seems the devs agreed with my assessment regarding their FF movement speed as they've given them their old movement and vaulting speed back. Testing this in the PTB gave me good feelings and helped their overall "Feel" when using FF, and although it didn't do much to increase their "threat", it did make chaining FF strikes a little easier to accomplish like I said it would. This was a good change for Legion, but unfortunately it was marred and completely ignored by another aspect the devs introduced in the PTB... The change to Beast of Prey, and addition of the new Oni perk Nemesis.
Honestly I tested BoP on Legion in the PTB to see if i could get the Undetectable status to activate so I could down survivors with DW. The problem with trying to down survivors this way was that I had to have an unbroken chase with the DW'd survivor for 15-20 seconds to after being stunned for 4 seconds coming out of FF to activate it, and maintain that chase for another 22.5 seconds (used Franks mix tape) without breaking pallets, losing the chase, or using FF, because doing any of those things immediately brought my TR back and paused the timer. I can see a really good Legion player accomplishing this, but that's still a 40+ second chase, where the killers target range for ending a chase should be under or around 20 seconds. Personally I didn't see it as a viable strategy at all, and if I FF'd again to knock the DW bar down more with FMT, that just added another 20+ seconds to the chase, and while it did ensure a down, it also was a colossal waste of time, and frustrating to make it work.
As for Nemesis... That one by comparison was much more useful. You DW the survivor, get blinded or stunned, and suddenly your TR is no longer pausing the timer for the next 45 seconds. You could actually pair it with the Enduring + Spirit Fury combo to ensure that if you didn't down them yourself, they were going to bleed out from DW. I've accomplished this scenario in the past similarly by using Dark Devotion, but the big difference between DD and Nemesis is that DD pauses the timer on the Obsession for 30 seconds while Nemesis ensured it would tick down. I haven't tried combo'ing DD+Nemesis, but if it works then it could be pretty nifty. Still, Legion with Nemesis had counter-play to it: Drop the pallet early without trying to stun Legion. Once survivors realized I had Nemesis, they did exactly that to keep DW from becoming a threat, and Nemesis only activated twice at most before they wised up and started using this counter-play strategy on me.
I wasn't able to test these as extensively as i normally would in the live build because wait times in the PTB were excruciating, and friends weren't always available to assist me in testing it. Now with the PTB closed, all we can do is wait until the live version to get a more thorough testing, but because tof the communities "over reaction" and outcries that the devs are "bringing old legion back", I get the feeling that either Legion or the perks will see a change before hitting the Live build. Its really a shame, because while the change to BoP and addition of Nemesis did make DW a threat again, they also have counter-play to them or were more of a waste of the killers time. I think the devs actually predicted this because they also shortened how long it takes to mend from 16 seconds to 12, and trust me, I had survivors mending every time they vaulted a pallet while i was attempting to get BoP to work since i couldn't break the pallet if i wanted to keep the BoP effect going, and that was a viable counter strategy. If the devs change these things from the PTB versions on a knee jerk reaction to the communities whining, then it'll only reassure my assumption that they don't give players gamer instincts enough credit.
Yeah man. I hate to say it but i'm losing faith in the Devs. I don't know what to feel about the changes to Legion with removing all the Perk Synergies with Feral Frenzy and all. I think that they need to remove Deep Wound from Feral Frenzy and add something else. Deep wound is what makes Feral Frenzy so hard to balance, IMO.
-
and now an idea from @xllxENIGMAxllx
BASIC ATTACK PENALTY
Remove the basic attack penalty from legion. I don't understand why you remove 50% of his power gauge when his power can't even kill.
FRANK'S MIX TAPE
Frank's mix tape is very bad for two reason.
- 1. He take 4 hits to down someone with it.
- 2. He take 24s to use the power again.
Combined with reason 1 he takes approximatively 1m 20s to down someone it's simply just bad and isn't worth to even use.
You could fix it by first making the frenzy cooldown to start with the fatigue like nurse then, you reduce the hit required by 2. Which make two hits to down and 40s to down if no hits have been missed.
(FRANK'S MIX TAPE) ALTERNATIVE CHANGE
Make it so he increase feral frenzy movement speed by 0,2 m/s.
DEEP WOUND STATUS EFFECT FIX
To solve once and for all the issues the DW can be exploited (moonwalk/no terror radius). Is to add a proximity radius. Proximity radius work like this.
Once you are in the proximity radius (close from the killer) the DW timer never go down no matter if he moonwalk or not / if he got a terror radius or not. Legion have a 32m terror radius so his proximity radius should be the same.
FURTHER CHANGE
If you want Legion to be mid-tier i think you should buff and remove some change then buff the useless add-ons. Let's get started.
- Fatigue : Take 4s and his fatigue add-ons reduce it by 0,625s (with very rare and rare CD reduction add-ons). He make pretty much no difference. I suggest you to revert the fatigue back to 3s. From that change Legion might become instant mid-tier.
- Movement Speed in Frenzy : you buffed his m/s with the PTB. They now move at 5,2 m/s is a great change but i would suggest that you also revert the old legion speed (it was 5,28 m/s) which is 2% movement speed. Current Legion move at 5,0 m/s (125%) PTB Legion move at 5,2 m/s (130%) and old Legion move at 5,28 m/s (132%).
- Frank's mix tape and Stab Wound Study add-ons : for FMT see above and for Stab Wound Study simply increase his value a bit.
- Cooldown : Old legion had a 15s cooldown but was able to use his power if his power gauge was recharged by at least 3%. Now current legion have a 20s cooldown and have to wait the full gauge to use his power. Simply revert his cooldown to 15s but keep the full gauge requirement.
CONCLUSION
After seeing many post and Gameplay from the PTB Legion despise the speed changes and pins changes is still a low tier killer. Their Fatigue is still to long and probably the major factor that make them very weak, They also got gauge penalty after each basic attack which make no sense anymore. Legion can't kill anymore so he make no sense to punish them for a power that is literally NON-LETHAL.
The legion nerf you've made by counting the frenzy as special attack destroy many perk synergy. Legion is not in a good place to allow such a nerf. I do understand why you did this nerf is to reduce the annoying aspect of his power but is not a good choice. The mending time nerf is another aspect that make legion even weaker and once again you did that make his power even less of a threat and annoyance.
@Almo You really want to please the legion fan and make legion a good killer without being an annoyance and any broken mechanics these is the way to go.
- Fatigue : reverted to 3s.
- Cooldown : reverted to 15s but with the full gauge requirement and starting with the fatigue like nurse.
- Frenzy Movement : reverted to 5,28% (132%).
- Basic attack penalty (gauge depletion on hits) removed.
- Keep the mending time to 12s (16s max with add-ons).
- Fix Frank's Mix Tape : ( By reducing the hits required by 2) or changing it to (Increase Frenzy Movement Speed by 0,2 m/s) Adjust the timer reduction accordingly with Stab Wound Study add-on and deep wound timer change.
- Fix DW exploit : by adding a proximity radius ( if you are close from legion from 1m to 32m) DW timer don't go down no matter if you are in chase/terror radius or legion having no terror radius. This will prevent legion from moonwalking/exploit the no terror radius perks.
- DW timer and Stab Wound Study changes : Reduce the Deep Wound timer to 15s from 30s. As for Stab Wound Study (considerably reduce the Deep Wound timer should reduce the timer by 5s). Frank's Mix Tape reduce moderably the Deep Wound timer per hit in frenzy. If Stab Wound Study is used with FMT all hit reduce 5s of the timer (still down in two hit). If FMT is used without SWS the timer is reduced by 7,5s per hit (which still down with two hit.)
Those change should make them mid-tier without making a broken killer like launch or the newly nemesis legion incoming.
-
All they did was bring Balanced Landing in line with other Exhaustion perks. It used to give you a ton even while you were exhausted, that was the issue. Now it doesn't.
-
So does Legion! I have a whole thread about it!
-
o-o um... why is this not going to the top of the list anymore? @MandyTalk
-
Does anyone else think Legion is being kept so bad as punishment for them being broken on release? I can't think of any other reason they are being treated this way. I think they should remove Deep Wound from Legion's power. That would make it 9879879879% earlier to fix.

Try swift hunt and the other one that uncloaks you quicker (to make up speed loss whilst uncloaking) and use either dying light, thanatophobia, ruin, surge/overcharge or his natural perks minus the FOV and add deer stalker and nurse's calling, either no one shall escape cause you end up on them before gen is done, that you can slowly increase gen time or you get that 100% chance hit and never lose them, ever, that one very dead, and deerstalker so you can watch them after first hook for a minute so you free of DS and nurse's calling to find the person that got them up and hit the injured chase healthy for a hit then get the dying for second hook or another survivor
What's your rank?

It's not even that I'm that good it's just that Wraith is super easy to play with. Especially with add-ons that make you faster while you're cloaked as well as his perks that basically make the scratch marks a neat straight line and the blood glowing red. So it's pretty much impossible to run or hide from him short of locker hopping all game.
Perhaps I'll record the next game as Wraith. I'm only rank 12 now so maybe the Survivors are still lol ez down here?
Yeah.... Try it in Purple or Red Ranks. Anyone that says Killer is easy needs to go to Red Ranks and play for about 10 matches as a lower Tier Killer like Wraith, Legion, or Clown. Your eyes will be opened VERY quickly.
Though, i'd still like to see the footage if you wanna record it.
-
Toxic people, unreasonable nerfs on both sides (though I many notice Killer.... Like the continual gutting of Legion to "Fix" them. Come on Devs. Just go here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/107618/the-one-stop-shop-for-legion-ideas-come-on-in-and-take-a-look-version-2/p1 and look at "Mob Mentality". Deep Wound is why Feral Frenzy is so hard to balance. Please change it for something like Mob Mentality), Broken maps with "God Loops" and through it all Devs that don't seem to understand how there own game works and never seem to get around to fixing ANYTHING. I love this game, but come on, it needs help! (Like the Lower Tier Killers)
AND I DESPISE OoO!!! Why does it even exist?! Oh and DCs.

I main those three I said, use the deep wound for time, get everyone in your killer instinct and chase the last one you hit and it should buy at least a few moments, a thing that has caused me to win (only once did it down someone and I laughed, till I realized it was a 20 with 7's and that laugh turned to a god damn, either SFW and they didn't tell him for lols or matchmaking dumb) just make it a necessity to fix with shorter time or status effects so they can't try to power a gen then mend, that happened before so it's a preventive measure, and have strong end game perks, he isn't too strong at start I feel, but ok mid from the power and great at end from power, that's what worked for me, not sure if you do already or have a method that works better for you but if you not tried end game build for him, try it out, you'd be surprised how strong he is that way
I've tried literally everything on Legion! I mostly only play them. So, I still have to disagree!

I never said Wraith was overpowered. I just said using him is a guaranteed win.....for me at least. And that's mainly because I only use his perks. He's essentially The Spirit but I can still see everybody. And I referred to the Nightmare by his name. Yea I know he's Freddy but that's not what he's called in game. But no I never explained him. He was actually hard to win with til they buffed the heck out of him and now he's up there with Wraith.
Why would I be false because I only use the perks on the Killers they came with? I don't see a reason to use Ruin or BBQ & Chili on everyone. The perks they each come with suit their playstyle just fine.
I wanna see you play Wraith. I really do. If you are that good, I want to see it so I can learn. Wraith is considered one of the worst Killers. I want to see the proof you can do what you say.

Killers still looking for excuses.
Kill rates for all ranks and isolated red ranks are too high. What is the point it even asking which rank the poster is at? Do you even know what you are fishing for anymore?
My own experience coincides with the stats. I get 4k games very frequently. It got so common I even came up with the 4k0c challenge just to make things more challenging.
You need to be able to consider the health of the game as a whole. If one side is winning only 25% of the time, clearly it is not healthy for the game
I'd like to remind you that several Devs have said not to draw conclusions based on the stats and that EVERYTHING 50%-75% is 2 kills. The reason it's like 59% for example is cause they weight a TAD more to 3 kills. So MOST KILLERS ARE AVERAGING 2 KILLS!

@vossler25 said:
Low rank, yeah, ok, that's standard, high ranks, no it's a survivor game at that point, killers are bullied in red ranks (love hag, legion, freddy, they are the exception of done right) nurse use to be very good and hard to get use to, but can kill easily cause most survivors don't bother to learn the counter of 180 turning, or double vaulting, seriously nurse was too easy when I learnt this, before then damn, she was tough to beat, but now I learnt that plus her nerf, she is an easy game now, side tracked, what was we talking about? Oh yeah, low rank are killers game, high ranks are survivors game
THHHhhheeeeee Fanatical Legion main here to tell you: I still get bullied at Red Ranks and i've sunk 100s of hours into Legion. *cries in Legion main* Weaker Killers need buffs BHVR!

@LordEmrich said:
I do agree with the OP but only using certain killers. I've owned the game since it came on the Xbox and have only played as Killer so I dunno what it's like for Survivors. I do know that with certain Killers I can pretty much put in no effort.
Namely Wraith and Nightmare. Playing as Wraith is a guaranteed win (you can't outrun him and you can't hide from him) so I try not to play as him as much. The Doctor is another one that's easy seeing as the Survivors are just screaming their positions the whole game. I also only use Killer specific perks on the Killer they came with. Keeps the Killers unique.
I'm sorry, but the moment you said Wraith was OP i couldn't take you seriously. That and calling The Doctor.... The Nightmare. Unless you just never explained Freddy. Add to that that you only use Killer specific perks and I know you are being rather false.

You mean if it's found and killer doesn't abandon a chase everytime to retrap or run away a survivor away every time they try to break it. If you're gonna make that statement then be fair about what tends to happen. What DOES NOT make sense is having to start over on a totem just because killer chases you away *shrugs*
cause otherwise it would be literally pointless to run any totem perk ever.

I would like to point out that ANY stat up to 75% was 2 downs. Now, go look at that chart again. Also there is no discussion about the people that first hook suicide or Swf or anything like that. The data was WAY too vague to draw up any useful conclusions.

ffs, did you even bother to read what I said? The only reason for its use is the passive - the speed boost is inconsequential. The issue isn't the perk, it's the broken maps and the fact that survivors can still abuse them just fine WITHOUT the perk, because the maps are what is broken and the entirety of the community has been saying this for a very long time.
No, deep wounds only exists because of legion. It's the fact that the devs went for the consistency side of things that it became tied with BT, which it didn't need to be, and is a reason why horrid interactions like freddy/BT exist. Legion can be balanced and strong with DW being a part of their kit, so long as we dump the idea of consistency = balance.
I don't actually use it when I play survivor all that much; if I run exhaustion it's always DH. Nice try, though. :)
Yes the infinite window on the abbatoir definitely needs looking at, along with a few other maps. That doesn't excuse nerfing a perk into obscurity to try and hide away bad map design (which won't work because it's still there in the maps this change will have any effect on)
Did you bother to read anything I said?
I've had people use that speed burst plenty of times to get away from me off a hill, like the one with a hook on it or that two leveled building on the swamp. Even the pier looking thing in the swamp. The Speed boost got you from a useless spot to a new loop. You go around and ask people if Balanced Landing broke some maps. I'll wait.
The problem with Balanced Landing was that it gave you bonus even when exhausted, no other perk does this. That and it literally made Infinities.
Also, No Legion with DW tacked onto there power makes them either useless or broken. They should remove it off there.
In the end, the Devs have the excuse to do whatever they want and no amount of us talking will change that. They saw it as broken, it got nerfed. I don't agree with everything the Devs do, but Balanced Landing was broken in half. The reasons are very obvious and at this point I feel like you are arguing for the sake of arguing.

consistency =/= balance and legion is a great example of that tbh.
The BL nerf is an example of the devs band-aid fixing, as they did with deep wounds, which in turn broke some interactions with legion, freddy, and stealth killers.
And to boot, with the BL nerf came a new map that showcases they're not even recognising the issues with map design; the new map would have had the same infinite problems as, say, haddonfield, in the middle structure if they hadn't changed the perk. That implies they have no intention of fixing these maps.
As for 'BL is just an exhaustion perk now' I can say without a doubt that many people didn't run it for the exhaustion; among good survivors, it will die, as they ran it for the stagger off hills and other structures, etc, as a type of mindgame to catch the killer off guard when they expected a slowed survivor rather than for a speed boost. The issue came in when there were structures that could be abused for loops, some of which could be abused even without BL (haddonfield, tractor will both still be just as oppressive to killer as they are now) I'd rather they removed the exhaustion side of things or gave us a new perk that did that, tbh.
Welp, how about this? It's much much easier to fix a broken perk than rework every map around it being broken. In my mind, this needed to happen, and I don't think you will change my mind on that one.
As far as Legion goes, we just need a rework. I'm not putting the link to my thread about that here, but Deep Wounds is the thing that makes Legion so hard to balance.
Balanced Landing gave you too much for what it was, and that's why it's being reworked. Sorry if you relied on that perk so much, but i'm sure you will do just fine without it. Anything that makes and Infinite needs to be fixed, and I hope they start looking at the maps like Cowshed next with that one window.
-
Killers are not the power role against a good or even decent team. This is obvious bait, at least to me.
-
A rework for Legion FINALLY GETTING RID OF DEEP WOUNDS ON THE POWER! Deep Wounds is the SOLE REASON Feral Frenzy is hard to balance (or changing it to Mob Mentality which you can find here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/107618/the-one-stop-shop-for-legion-ideas-come-on-in-and-take-a-look-version-2/p1 Come on Devs, Mob Mentality would be AMAZING!!!!)
Buffs for the really really bad Killers like Clown and Wraith and Legion...
And honestly just more balancing and fixes so the game feels more like a back and forth match then a stomp on either side.

The statistics suggest that the average highrank match ends most likely with a black pip or a de-pip for the killer. (It's an assumption because of the kill rate. We would need statistics from the devs to be on the safe side.)
We also don't know how many survivors still "win" (=pip) despite getting killed. And we know nothing about the difference between solos and SWF groups.
These statistics give so limited information that they aren't really useful.
Exactly!

@Sleephartha said:
I'm just gonna say one more thing then leave this alone for awhile...
If any of you have ever watched great players stream then you know how well a Master Killer can do and you know it fits this info. Master Killers get 4ks in red ranks all day long and their biggest challenge is Master SWF groups. However, from my experience watching them they still have a roughly 50% or better win rate, sometimes getting 4ks and sometimes 0ks, but usually at least 1 or 2k. This is regardless of build, play style, how many afks, etc etc. Over time and with large numbers of games you see the afks etc are not relevant. I agree it can muddy results but like a drop of salt in your Sprite... not at all to the extent that it would matter.
On the other hand even the best survivor streamers die in maybe half of their games, though they almost always earn enough points to pip.
I think the devs have a complicated nuanced approach to balancing this game. They may have a stated goal of 2ks being balanced but my intuition is that the ability to pip plays a big role in their balancing equation. The fact that survivors can die but still pip/win means something. It allows killers to have more fun and get more kills while allowing a survivor to claim victory. But obviously this has to be managed carefully. Taken to the extreme they could allow insanely powerful killers but grant points for the slightest survivor action allowing pipping after being 3 hooked in 30 secs. Pipping balance alone doesn't work. Players need a good gameplay experience and a shot at surviving. I get that it's complicated and they try hard to keep everyone happy, but it's difficult. And it's why stats that show what's actually happening are super important.
If nothing else, instead of ignoring these stats, consider my earlier point about if the stats had showed a 98% kill rate, "but don't draw conclusions". It's impossible not to. If killers were in fact killing 98% of the survivors there's a problem. you don't question builds or afks... the numbers are enough. The same is true with these numbers as they are.
Not every Joe is a "Master Killer".

Thank you for asking.
I would do rotating events where you have a separate queue. 2 killers vs 8 survivors. Some type of event based around basement.
I would never release another perk that increases the gen time or progress bar simulator for this game. We already have enough to stare at.
I would remove the wallhack aspect of BBQ and Chili.
Billy's chainsaw has a cool down attached to it. So he can't constantly reee reee everywhere. You have to make a tactical decision when to use it.
I would remove legion.
I would decrease head on windup time from 3 seconds to 2 seconds
I would combine kindred/we're going to live forever or kindred/borrowed time.
I would increase density and objects of many dead areas in maps, so there are more opportunities for stealth.
I would remove fake pallets from the game.
I would double the cool-down of freddies teleportation.
That's it. That's what I would do.
Excuse me, just one moment. THEEEEEEeeeeEEE Fanatical Legion main here to ask you, WHY do yo want to remove Legion who is considered one of the WORST Killers in Dead by Daylight and is getting nerfed soon for unknown reasons? Not only that but the rest of your changes don't seem like they'd be fun for Killers AT ALLLLLL. We gotta have fun as well! I can't think of a single Killer that wants to play "Waiting to Lost and get bullied Simulator!"

The game doesn't exist solely for red rank players which means THIS statistic is what matters most to the devs. According to this statistic NO killer averages 75% / 3 kills per game so I'm not sure what the fuzz is about. Literally all killers are within the aimed 2k range.
Even if we take a look at the red rank statistic only Spirit, Freddy and Hillbilly touch the 75% / 3k average mark. That's NOT "most killers":
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/910/6KD3I8P3L1V9.png
Literally ALL the other killers are between 60% - 74% (Hag only) which is still a 2k...
THIS!

I feel like I really need to stress this line from that post:
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT NUMBERS ARE NOT EVERYTHING; THERE ARE A WHOLE BUNCH OF FACTORS THAT COULD INFLUENCE THESE NUMBERS.
To use the Spirit as an example, as we've mentioned many times before, we do not balance based on stats alone. We make sure to do our research first and there's a lot of compelling arguments for why she should have been changed.
And again, there's a bunch of different factors involved. Is Freddy overpowered, or is it just a combination of perks and add-ons that make him that strong? These are all things that need to be considered.
So just to reiterate one last time, I really would not recommend drawing any conclusions from these stats. These are averages, not specific and incredibly detailed data that you should draw any conclusions from.

As killer, play a match with Pudding (100% bloodhsard bonus) and BBQ (Max 100% if hook all 4 survivors). with max kills, you can get 32k points, but with 2 hooks on everyone, and doing a ok/good job, you can get between 23 and 28k points. Add in the 200%( or score *3) total bonus and you are looking at 69k, to 84k bloodshards. As killer, that isn't hard.
I think you mean Blood Points.
-
So far i've gotten "Damage a generator or break a pallet 40 times" "Trap 5 Survivors in one match" "Hook 15 survivors in the basement", "Hook Obsession 2 times in a trial." , and "Hook a Survivor while another Survivor is on the hook in the basement while using Monstrous Shrine." out of like.... 3 hours playing. These are do-able.

The Fanatical Legion Main here to tell you: WELCOME TO THE LEGION! Here's your mask, knife and the hatred of Thousands that can't let Old Legion go! (Which may or may not include the Devs) I would ask you to come by my Thread in feedback after you play Legion a bit for any ideas you might have on improving them!
Perks! This might sound weird but I get ALOT out of Thrilling, Surge, STBFL (though, honestly with the patch coming up.... will need a new one here) AND Corrupt Intervention!
As far as playing goes.... I honestly don't use the power too much cause it really feels like it punishes you more than helps! BUT you want to get used to knowing when to chase that Killer instinct and when to cancel and M1 the one you just slapped. Try to get everyone hurt and mending (or just hurt) as much as you can, and then punish them if they don't heal! If they do heal, Feral Frenzy them till they stop it.
Playing Legion is an uphill battle honestly, They need ALOT of help and the new patch coming out WILL NOT HELP THEM THAT MUCH! Though the Vault pallet speed is sexy.... the rest isnt enough for loss of Perk synergy... I'm going on a tangent arnt i?
Just play and do the best you can! It gets easier with practice... just don't expect to always win as Legion.

None. Let the Killer come out and have some time to settle before doing ANYTHING TO THEM as far as nerfs/buffs go. Only thing I think is picking someone up shouldn't drain your power so much. It promotes alot of sluggin.

I'd at least like to be able to select one challenge for survivor and one for killer, whether that be the same challenge for both or separate challenges. It's easy to forget to switch challenges when I switch roles, which has already happened today.
The way the Archive challenges are set up isn't user friendly at all.
I agree with this for sure. I will say though, the Archives got me to play Survivor.

I'd really love to see the build that added 5 minutes to a gen. Honestly, games go super fast against a good team. I understand completely why some Killers use as much slowdown as they can.

i think you once added this idea already to this super long legion post, havent you? xD
i remember talking to you about it once...
tbf ive had the idea for quite some time now, but never really made it into its own post, so here it is! :D *party noises*
I might have XD I had to start it over though cause it wont bump up any more.

If we were to talk Legion Changes: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/107618/the-one-stop-shop-for-legion-ideas-come-on-in-and-take-a-look-version-2#latest
The Fanatical Legion main here to tell you: This is an interesting change! I kinda like it but would have to try it out to see how it worked. ANYTHING is better than the nonthreatening version we have atm. BLEEDING OUT FROM A DEEP WOUND is apparently not that big a deal right now. Just a bit of poking and that artery is sealed right up!

the tomes in general are having an adverse effect on the game. 90% of the killers are just trappers who stand there doing nothing except setting traps , chasing crows and smacking walls . No one is playing seriously as a killer. No one is playing seriously as a survivor either. People are standing there knocking down pallets for no reason etc etc , chasing crows.
Hopefully the next patch will put some more life into this game. ALthough, wiht players named Hex : DC, immediately dc everytime they join a match, and players named "iliketodc" doing likewise..I'm not too sure anymore though. Right now about 2/3 matches basically result in either an immediate abandonment , or an abandonment partway through by players named some sor tof form of "iliketodc" or "hex:dc"..
so ..if your plan is to start banning these players then ..sad to say, this is going to have an adverse effect on the game since there are so many of them.
Adverse to get rid of the people ruining the game? I have a hard time following that logic.

Thanks, I wanted to bring in the feeling of being multiple killers while also keeping what we already enjoy which is constant stabbing and sprinting.
I really hope the Devs realize DW is the real problem, maybe they already have and are just trying to avoid doing anything about it for now since it could take a while.
I really hope so! We need something new for Legion and Buffs for the other weaker Killers!

When I refer to "Statistics", often I refer to the more detailed ones we have.
Also, a blanket statement like "Killers are not in control above rank 10" is clearly not true given what we know about the game. SOME Killers may not be, but the original statement I am refuting doesn't need to be falsified for all players to be untrue in general.
Okay well that makes more sense then. It sounded like you meant the ones that yall released which is more broad than the Grand Canyon. I follow your second question up with another question then. What Skill level do yall balance too? High Skill or Low Skill? Or is it average with that too? SOME Killers might be 100% in control at high ranks, but I promise you most of the community doesn't feel they are. That's all I was saying.

I have war flashbacks of Legion constantly putting me and my team in the mending state which has gone on for 30 whole minutes in multiple matches before he decides to start hooking people, us survivors constantly having to mend and heal before being put in the mending state 20 seconds later to do it all over again. I beg the Legion, please just hook me already, and end my suffering. I envy my fellow dead survivors.
You got it! I'll let them know to make it quicker for you.
The Fanatical Legion Main gives you his word!

Games are meant to be fun for all. When game after game, the killer is slugging, camping, tunneling you, the game is no longer fun, and staying in it only rewards that scummy behavior. Why should they be rewarded for it?
For that matter what do you consider a win? Only if you get a 4k? I find it very ridiculous when a killer offers pudding, slugs all and walks out with 12k pts declaring a victory. Really? 36k bloodshardss total(pudding and chili), yet others not using these tactics, 0 kills, survivors hooked at least once, 25k points, 75k bloodshards, same amount of time played. I'll take a "loss" with 75k bloodshards over a win with 36k any day.
To survivors who after the game who taunt "Haha, you killed no one! You suck!" Simple response. "I got 25k pts/ 75k you got 15k pts/30k BS. Pretty sure I did better."
75k Blood Shards from a match?! HOW?
No, I don't just think of a 4k as a win, silly. I think of a win as "I had fun." I don't even care if I get no hooks. But it's hard to have fun when gens are flying at mach 4
