Well yes but actually no, it's not a buff to Blindness.

Rather, it's a new Status Effect that will accompany Blindness, but can be a Status Effect on its own as well...

Hidden

Inspired by Undetectable, Hidden does one thing...

  • A Survivor inflicted with the Hidden Status Effect will not reveal their Aura to other Survivors.


This Status Effect will join all equipment that applies the Blindness Status Effect.

  • Hex: The Third Seal will now apply both Status Effects on hit Survivors until the Hex Totem is cleansed.
  • "Blind Warrior" - Mud will inflict both Status Effects for 60 seconds when landing a Surprise Attack.
  • Amanita Toxin will when hit with a Hunting Hatchet for 30 seconds.
  • Face Mask will inflict both until the Reverse Bear Trap is off.

Etc. etc.

Also, Knock Out would change: The Dying Survivor will be afflicted with Hidden until they are out of the Dying health state, but Survivors within 16 meters of the Dying Survivor will ignore the effects of Hidden.


No epic conclusion, that's pretty much it. 🤷‍♂️
