Oh that's actually a pretty decent back story! So it's not just evil animatronics shooluting ooga booga?
Hehe. In the game it's just big a big bunny shouting ooga booga. But when you look to the lore it's kinda fukd up actually.

The game itself is a bit childish in nature, but the more and characters (especially Springtrap) would work for dbd. William Afton(Springtrap) was a serial murderer who hid in a springlock suit to escape the ghosts of the children he murdered. The suit then froze up and crushed him and now he came back to life with murderous intent.
I haven't been updated to much on the lore as of late but last I checked that was the story of him and I think (if done right) it could be scary af

When is DS gonna be removed. Any survivor who uses DS is just bad and has no strategy. The killer shouldn't be punished for doing his job, killing people.
See I can do it as well your not special. They won't remove noed and they won't remove DS. So what do we do? We stop bitching and start playing the game and developing new strats. Just do bones man.

Nurse is one of the killers that exceeds at the map.
But that's it...he has a good point. You have to traverse 3 or 4 rooms to get upstairs, or take the stairs. I've had to do this several times yesterday and I lost 2 gens that way.
Pyramid Head does need buffs. I've been playing him since release and well....his Range power is completely useless.
I disagree. I've been playing PH since he got released and I find his ranged attack very effective. It did take me a bit to get used to it. The first couple of games I played with PH I got brutally destroyed and had no idea what I was doing on the new nap. I got lost I got looped it was a pain in the ass. But as I got used to it, it got easier. The maps not that confusing you just gotta get used to it. It's only been out for 3 days.
Then again I don't think haddonfeild is that bad either ( I main killer) and I usually have trouble on the game map, which most killer mains love. Y'all just gotta give it time instead of hating on it the moment it comes out. It's a new nap and a new killer with new mechanics. Ya just gotta come up with some new strategies.

Nurses = healing close to you is extremely dangerous
Deathbound = healing far away from you is dangerous (position reveal + oblivious)
when you combine both, there is only a very small grey zone of 8m where they can heal and not get negative effects.
both give away the survivors location, and one makes them vulnerable to ambushes after being healed.
This is why I want to get Nurses calling for my pyramid head. All of PHs perks kinda suck ass, except for deathbound.

People seem to think he's OP because he makes their fallbacks less reliant.
Exactly. It's about time they put in a killer that can work around looping survivors. I find it so annoying when they just run in a circle. What's the point man it's called a chase for a reason.
-
Not really. I've gotten pretty good with pyramid head and I still get ######### sometimes by pallets. Survivors will see a bit of a red line right before you do the attack for one. And if they see you go into your power they instantly assume you about to do the ground attack and gtfo. You just have to be able to think ahead and make sure you actually stun him with the pallet. Pretty easy to get around. Not that op

Scarecrow from Batman. Could do some freaky ######### with the fear gas

IMO I think that next chapter will be candyman. Think, all the leaks they put out looked towards candyman (except that mccote tweet), the colours, skull shapes, the discord April fools etc.
My thought is that companies don't like their things being falsely advertised, and of course, a good chunk of the hype for this update was for candyman due to the leaks. But it was pyramid head. So either:
A) The devs intentionally (or unintentionally) hinted towards candyman in order to build hype, and they could do this because they knew that candyman is the next killer and the company that own him wont be a bit pissed.
B) The devs intentionally (or unintentionally) hinted towards candyman in order to build hype (again), but they don't have the licence for candyman, and we most likely will never get him if this is the case.
However Tony Todd (actor of candyman) has liked a few tweets sent by the devs and leaks by daylight, which i'm guessing is a signal that they don't hate BHVR.
It's a bit of a stretch, but whatever.
I really hope it's Candyman. He would fit so well with the astetic and the all out creepyness. It would also be cool if they had him be a talking killer, give him a bit of voice lines. Candyman would be perfect for that. His voice is so iconic. At least to me. I did a chapter idea for him a little bit ago. I called it swarms of doubt. Just an bit of ideas, like Helen being a survivor and Cabrini green being the map. I don't think it's that big of a stretch. A lot of things point towards Candyman so I wouldn't doubt it.
-
I disagree. I was playing pyramid head last night and I got the map like 3 times in a row. At first it's confusing and I kept losing the stairs but by the third time I played on it I got the hang of it. They did spam the breakable walls a bit.. that's the only an lying part about it for me. Other than that it's a really good, atmospheric map. It just takes a bit. Like any map

I mean maybe if you just wanted more silly fun rather than actual horror. Personally im hoping this game starts turning a new leaf into the horror genre and Silent Hill chapter is showing yes they are making the game more creepy and scary along with the graphics update. I mean most real horror fans don't like space and sci-fi because it isn't horror in the sense we want. We want slashers, demons, and stuff like that rather than aliens and space. Its why F13 was gonna die no matter what cause a huge amount of the fanbase was mad that Jason X was being added cause no one wanted a space anything and they wanted horror. It'd be near impossible to make something like alien into the horror genre rather than the sci-fi genre
That is a good point with Jason x but let's be honest none of the Friday sequels were wanted. Idk it's just my opinion but I think having giant acid blood space monster chasing me would be pretty ######### scary, and dependent on how they would do it, it could be creepy as well. The first Alien movie was amazing with it's suspense and making you think the monster was there even when it wasn't. Or when it was there but the people in the movie didn't know and you were telling at the crew members to GTFO of that room cause the monsters there! I love alien and the Xenomorph and as I said it's just my opinion, but I think if they did it right, it could be just as creepy and scary as the other characters. Maybe even more in some aspects.
-
I would like to see them try and take ideas from both of the old and the new and try to make something cool out of it. But still have the other two as skins you can get for him

well they wouldnt fit sadly, they arent horror icons. they are from a super hero universe in which it is brutal, yes but it still isnt horror
I feel like most Characters wouldn't work. That being said there is one that comes to mind though, Scarecrow. His whole thing is fear, harnessing fear to use it against you. I think he could make a decent killer idea and might fit.
At least better than say Riddler or two face

I dont mean in terms of balance, I just mean in terms of stupidity. Xenomorph is scary sure but Sci-fi has no place in a game like dead by daylight and many MANY people would hate to see it in. The demogorgan isnt a space alien and is an actual scary monster whos lore is more with horror rather than sci-fi.
I disagree. Alien was the movie that crossed the sci fi and slasher genres. Look at Jason. One monster going around a camp brutally killing a group of people until one is left. Now look at Alien. One monster going around a spaceship brutally killing a group of people until one is left. See what I mean.
Plus he could have great opportunitys for traps like the eggs and such. His blood is acidic, maybe we do something with that, or his long tail.
He could also potentially have the dopest Mori ever with the second jaw going through your head.
And on your point that MANY people would hate to see it, I think that is debunked in itself. When pyramid head was announced on the stream, our toxic community was bitching cause they wanted Alien or blah blah blah. The most I saw was Alien.
The Xenomorph would be a perfect addition to dbd

I'd I were to make my own I would do Myers, Billy, and Oni.
Myers don't take nothing from nobody. We've seen him shot, ran over, blown up, ect ect. He's a big man and has great strength. He's also really fast and sneaky. And he's creepy af.
It's a toss up between Billy and bubba. I chose Billy because he's faster and more resilient. Man broke out of chains and through a brick wall and ran to slaughter animals. And he's another big man with a lot of strength.
Oni is a seasoned warrior who FEEDS on BLOOD. Man can stab the shite out of his opponents and then be powered by their blood. Something all the other killers have in common. They bleed. He's also extremely quick so things like the nurses blink and the demogorgons lunge are ineffective against him.
Bit of an edit, their powers would work well with each other. The loudness and speed of Billy and Oni can distract the killers while Michael tiers up. When Michael stabs another killer or Billy cuts another killer in half, that's a lot of blood for Oni. They synergize pretty good. Not the best (Clown and GF would be best) but we'll enough to be great protection. They're more instadown then progressively hurting so there is less chance of getting overwhelmed

Yea the comedy horror is why I think he wouldn't get added mainly. Since he isn't really a serious dude.. I don't think the entity would wanna pick him to do his deeds XD
They could take more from the child's play reboot where he's more serious and creepy, less campy
-
I would love to see Candyman as a killer. It is one of my favorite horror movies, maybe even favorite movie of all time. You could do so much with the mirror teleportation, the hook on his hand and the bees. Oh God the bees. Helen could be the survivor, and Candyman could have some obsession perks. I am currently working on creating my own idea for Candyman with a perklist and such.
Candyman could also be a good opportunity to have a "talking" killer. His voice is so magnetic yet so creepy, with lines like "be my victim" and "surrender yourself to me. It would be cool to play as it and creepy as hell to play against.
Perfect for dbd

It's amazing when survivors try to be toxic with my Ghostface. They'd drop a pallet on me and teabag, so I'd teabag back at them and while they are being toxic by the pallet, I can stalk them, mark them, and down them. I personally like Ghostface for the fact that I can be funny and have fun with the survivors. If I get slaughtered it's most likely my fault for being a troll so I'm just having fun

Nah... I'm pretty sure even Ip would be in trouble. The guy is good buy I'm pretty sure that wouldnt stop Bubba from just grabbing him and doing this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoBo_W_QDk8
If the guy can shrug off a chainsaw, I highly doubt theres anything Ip can do to him as he's being carried away like a sack of potatos.
There should be an achievement for Moriing someone in front of the hook as bubba.
-
Ghostface would get pretty messed up without his knife. He's clumsy. That's his downfall. Have you seen how many times he trips and falls in the movies?
Amanda I feel would be able to put up a struggle but would inevitably get tired out and lose.
Wraith would also get pretty messed due to his physique. Now this is if you count his bell as part of his weapon. In the game he never hits anyone with it. Take away his skull weapon thing and he could probably go to hurting you with the bell. This is out of the question if you take that away to though.
Deathslinger does seem like he has a bad leg but he's a friggin cowboy. A bounty hunter. If he was able to last long bounty hunting with the bad leg (assuming bad leg is pre or during that state of his life) he would know how to get around someone trying to kick his leg. It's predictable that someone would go for your bad area, so he would protect it.
If you take Freddy's claws away it doesn't do much. In the dream world he can do anything. You take away the physical weapon and he can turn into a new weapon entirely. Now take him outside of the dream world and he's helpless.
Leatherface from what I remember is a bit slow mentally(putting it lightly) if you took away his weapons I don't think he'd know what to do. He wouldn't be powerless though. He's a big man and with his mental issues he'd not know when to stop and he'd overpower you and most likey kill you. If you can get away however, he's not that fast. Bubba can only waddle so much.
Killers like huntress and trapper are literal animals who hunt. They have their tactics and could take you down pretty easily.
While spirit is falling apart she's also a ghost. If you say she didn't get her powers pre entity than she won't be a problem at all because she's dead. She's called spirit for a reason.
Other killers like Michael, Billy, or Oni are just simply big man who could sucker punch you to the next realm.
Hag seems pretty feeble so if you can keep distance and kick her from behind or so she'd get messed up. She has long arms and claws though so it's be hard. Demogorgons out of the picture here. He's a monster from another realm and is hell-bent on killing. Go mono e mono with it and you screwed. Hard.
Now what I would like to see is who would win In a battle royal of the killers. All have their weapons and powers. Who would be the last one standing?

In the form of pennywise?
I was waiting for someone to say that. Pennywise would be a good license killer to do it with but even if they can't get pennywise the idea still sounds cool for more of a creature Shapeshifter
-
I usually always get negative messages when I play killer. I usually take them with a grain a salt and let them go. I'm having fun that's what matters.
I've had some nice messages but not many to write home about. Lot of toxic players on Xbox :(
-
@VolantConch1719 said:
It all depends on what you mean by "Shapeshifter."
If you mean a Killer that can shift into a Survivor, that would absolutely not work.
If you mean a Killer that can transform into some sort of creature, I honestly think that could work, if it was done right.
I'm thinking a killer that can turn into some creature or a werewolf like @Schlute6969 said in his comment. Because just turning into a survivor would be useless against swf teams. It could have different add-ons, like Freddy's dream snares and pallets, that swap what it's powers are. With a different add on it could shapeshift into a different creature and have a new power. Like a werewolf power with a lunge or some creature with stealth. You could do many things with it. Idk. That's why I made the poll, so I could get some ideas from others on what would work.
-
I've been consistently scared by oni whenever I play as survivor (which isn't much) He scares me because of the roars and the feeling of immediate danger. If I'm caught by him I'm screwed. It hits a bit more than just the jumpscares cause when I hear him and he sounds near I about crap myself
-
He's cool to play as but I wouldn't main him. I used to when I got my own copy of game but I've since strayed from him.
-
Michael was the first one I played. First time I played it was on my friends account back when the Halloween dlc came out. Im a huge slasher and John carpenter fan so when I saw Myers as a playable character I knew the game would be good.
Uhh apart from the uh *ahem* bugs and such *cough cough*.
It's still an amazing game tho :)
-
Ya know what's really good? When you mix ketchup and mustard together. Tastes good and works with a lot of foods
-
I think it would be cool if the devs would look towards the community for a chapter. Looking through here I see some really AWESOME ideas. It would be a good way to connect with us and see what we would actually want to play with.

Beautiful. Brings a tear of joy to my eye.
Someone give this man an award. :)

I really like this idea. Always been a Nemesis fan. One thing that I would change up is his power. It's a nice idea but I feel like it could have something special so it isn't so much like the deathslinger power or just another broken projectile.
I also think that Apprehension seems a bit op with the timings. Being able to see survivors auras for 7 seconds seems a bit to long. Even barbecue the aura only lasts for 4 seconds and that can be a big enough pain.
Other than that it's a really nice idea and would fit well with the other killers. Good job :)
-
I would like to see one of the monsters from the 2014 film "Animal"
559240.jpgThey just have an all out creapy af design and I think you might be able to do like a stealthy demogorgon. It's all black and really stealthy so it could have a crouch and it's also fast so it could vault pallets and such. Not much of a prediction just more of an idea.
-
I'm mostly a killer main and I play Ghostface so any survivor using speed perks usually screw me over. I'll mark them and then they speed away and I never see them again.
On the occasion that I do play survivor I have the most trouble against Doctors. The hallucinations get me every time and scare the crap out of me. Same with the sudden screams of madness. It knocks me off my game and I get killed very quickly.
