Nintendo Switch (especially 2) and the portable consols are the future of the industry of games. People are more and more switching to portable devices and the numbers don't lie. I love playing DBD in my switch 2, but the poor quality and 30 fps lock are so bad to deal with. I am really sure that making a new version for the Switch 2 will make the game better to play and will increase the sells in the Switch. Love ur game <3

    Hey there,

This has a big thread already & has been requested by numerous people for over a year now.

We do agree we deserve an optimised version of DBD using the all of the power that the Switch 2 has to offer.

If you could comment in the forum thread below & read through, Requesting what you have said here.

It will help serve to show the demand is very high & that the DBD/Nintendo Switch 2 community deserves this.

    Thank you.

  • Or no locked silly legendary skins and we have the ability to edit characters to reflect our personalities.

Give us Grace and a New Resident Evil Killer, Being Chapter 3 for Resident Evil with a new map.

Much better value and fun for all!

Because it's not game versions that's listed, its the platforms the game is available on, otherwise it would just say PC for both Steam and Epic for example, there's no different game version between the two, they are just completely separate platforms.

I find these replies are so anti caring towards your Switch/Nintendo/DBD players as a whole.

I mean come on smell the burning coffee here Behaviour!

DBD needs to take advantage of the major advantages it gives to one your fans and two you the developers.

The Nintendo Switch 2 been out over a year now ! ! !

A New platform being Switch 2 arrives, You support everything else even the PS5 day one with its own dedicated versions.

Yet you shone your loyal Nintendo players & the Nintendo Switch 2 for over a year!

(Mind you the only platform you have done this with, Even tho it’s an massive success)

Big and small developers alike single & multiplayer games, Have beaten you Behaviour to the punch in mass majorly.

Meaning smaller developer teams have made Nintendo Switch 2 versions of their games and valued their fans.

And the New platform as whole, Because they don’t want to miss out on the opportunity.

Cough cough one of your partners Capcom shows how good the Switch 2 can hit 60 fps and higher with both Resident Evil: Requiem, Pragmata, Street Fighter and Devil May Cry. While also putting out major graphical fidelity overall unlike DBD on the Nintendo Switch 1.

Now even the Hellraiser game is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in October, Again another former partner beat you to it. And there an smaller developer unlike Behaviour!

You say you claim to you care about your Nintendo community/DBD players.

Yet it’s showing you don’t value us nor the opportunity to strengthen that bond.

It’s been well over an year the Nintendo Switch 2 has been out,

Yet you don’t answer, Acknowledge or confirm you’re working on it.

Your Nintendo Switch 2 DBD players have been screaming on this forum, X, Twitch and YouTube etc for a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD for ages.

Yet you just continue to alienate all of us !

It’s honestly sad how out of touch you’re being to all your loyal fans.

DBD needs an dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 version of Dead By Daylight. With at least 60FPS + improvements and we darn need punching way above with a major Graphical Overhaul the most.

This is a golden egg to you Behaviour Entertainment (Aka more money and success ahead), This would bring more players back and give you so many new DBD fans. Since how huge Nintendo Switch 2 is selling worldwide & is very successful.

You need to get to grips already, Stop with the excuses we need a yes or no. We need a definitive answer from Mr Mathieu Cote himself.

People will be very happy if you do make a much needed Nintendo Switch 2 dedicated version of DBD or at least be truthful and confirm it already. Stop dancing around the question !

And we will pay be it, for a full physical release , A Game Key Card or a paid Upgrade Pack.

So everyone’s data, chapters and cosmetics actually can transfer over to the Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD.

Now we all deserve a proper repose from the man himself please.

    Thank you.

  • Honestly there is an easy way to do this.

It’s god awful Behaviour still hasn’t done this.

If you like me & hate all the sunglasses/mask cosmetics head pieces.

Yet that head piece usually has awesome hair,

But you can’t see the darn face due to the unwanted sunglasses/mask.

Easily solution, Behaviour are you listening please !
Add a toggle button, For head pieces (That removes the Sunglasses/masks) So we can enjoy the head pieces without the masks/sunglasses on please.

  • No update at all from a top developer or Mr Mathieu Cote !? For an much deserved & needed optimised

Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD.

  • @cantgohome said:

latest update and we’re STILL behind lmao, and we’re apparently getting it in a WEEK (yknow, when the event is over) I was so excited to play the event with my friends but im convinced that bhvr has genuine contempt for the switch as a platform, this might be a team size thing but how is it that other games manage to get same day updates on the switch yet bhvr still manages to always leave us behind?

This is why we need a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD!

It would address all the problems other people have begged behaviour to solve above^

All they gotta do is make an dedicated & optimised version of Dead by Daylight for the Nintendo Switch 2.

I mean come on Behaviour, The Nintendo Switch 2 has been out for a year now. Time to act, It will boost sales massively on everything if you do!

  • Vigil needs a rework more and is actually a problem perk.

Light born is fine, It’s called dead hard is an easy counter to someone using light born.

This is why we have presents to change and build different builds.

Don’t rely on one build, Happy 10th anniversary!

  • @XJavelX said:

SI'm starting to think this forum only exists so people can say they have one. None of the developers actually read anything here. There are no answers or reactions. You don't seriously think any of your Switch players are going to spend another cent on this game, do you? If nothing is done to improve the graphics and FPS.But why am I writing this? The developers couldn't care less. It's really shocking how someone can disregard the community like that. The game is reduced from €29.99 to €10.49 in the Nintendo eShop; you don't honestly think anyone will buy this port, do you? You should give people €10.49 for such an outrageous act.Next year they want to update the graphics, and all Switch 2 players are worried that the port won't be able to handle it. Well, I can put your minds at ease; they won't be able to manage it anyway. They can't even get the event to run smoothly. It will probably look more like the zombie mode they showed, which they likely created with their old Nokia phone.

This is why Mr Mathieu Cote needs & should give us an answer asap,

A clear yes or no, Or we are currently working on a optimised dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD.

The silence & alienating of the Nintendo Switch 2/DBD community needs to stop.

We need a clear yes or no from you, Yes you please Mr Mathieu Cote from Behaviour Entertainment!

  • Jason is fine & is balanced perfectly, Nothing is wrong with him.

This is the one sided whining tribalism that needs to go already.

Because of this Krasue got destroyed, Bearly seen now due to some not all survivors. Not wanting to learn her counter play.

Now you’re complaining about Jason, Even tho he’s been out barely a month.

Thanks to behaviour not wanting to pay up to get us a proper cross save/our purchases.

    (Unlike every other platform)

A dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 version needs to happen for Dead By Daylight asap!

Nintendo Switch 2 It’s been out a whole year already,

For DBD to shine on Nintendo’s new system, It will bring new/old players to the fog.

    It’s beyond overdue!

    Hi everyone,

    I agree with this post.

I’d also love to see a Switch 2 port from Behaviour!

The more people show interest, the better our chances are.

If there’s anything we as a community can do, please let us know, dear Behaviour Team!

Or at least some feedback on what the current issue is with developing a port?

Until then, I wish you all a wonderful 10th anniversary!

Yep it’s only fair for Nintendo Switch 2 gets its own dedicated version of Dead By Daylight.

With at least 60 FPS & a much needed as well deserved major Graphical Overhaul,

To use & optimise the potential of Nintendo Switch 2 power for Dead By Daylight on Nintendo’s newest system.

Every other platform got this, So the Nintendo Switch 2/DBD player base deserves a dedicated NS2 version of DBD.

Paid card, Upgrade, Key Card we don’t mind.

Again I’m calling you out Mr Mathieu Cote will you give us an answer,

A clear yes or no, Or we are currently working on it.

    Happy 10th Anniversary all !

The aura reading on the Spike when embedded in a survivor seems unnecessary to me, particularly given how easy it is for him to grab more ranged weapons. Feels like he has just 1 too many things in his kit, otherwise I think he is fine.

Of course he just released so I'll need to play more matches as and against him to be sure. These are just my initial thoughts.

I disagree, If you’re smart & watch your surroundings while Jason is around.

You just need to dodge his spear,

The aura reading for the small amount of time you have it, On the spear is super fair.

I quote what I said before, Read what I said.^^^

Your being one sided, Example survivors can run perks that gives you the killers aura for 20+ metres.

(Mind you this aura reading on the killer is all time throughout the trial, Unlike Jason’s speared survivors)

But no way an small aura for an short time on an speared survivor,

Just dodge his spear learn & adapt.

This is the one sided narrative that’s hurting the games health & the community, Just stop.

Play both sides, Learn and adapt. Have fun in the fog all.

  • @CrimsonMothKing said:

The only part of his kit I don't like is the fact that he gains haste after using his jumpscare. What is the point of making him 110% if he can just counter act it permanently.

Springtrap needs to lose his ranged attack to be 115% but Jason just needs to tp on a short cooldown. His other issues are fixable with number tweaks, but his haste is the only thing I believe should be taken away.

Edit: For those that don't know; After triggering a Jumpscare, Jason gains 4.5454 % for 25 seconds. Omniprescent Evil is on a 12 second cooldown

Edit 2: Also, when impaled by a Hook Spike. Jason can see the Spike through walls and survivors trying to remove the Spike are Hindered by 10%. Letting go of this action resets it's progress. He doesn't need to have haste when this mechanic exists.

Jason is fine & is balanced perfectly, Nothing is wrong with him.

That exact moment at IGN gave me hope for a switch 2 port or upgrade pack to be announced, and you’re right when you say that the switch 1 cannot handle the future of dbd, the console is extremely outdated and barely runs the game right now and is a complete mess, but it is impressive that it’s up to date with everything else and at least makes switch 1 an option to play (although patch delays also cause the system to be even more of a mess) but the whole graphical overhaul could probably just kill switch 1 all together, and heck that would be surprising if they can even get that detail working on the system, but that’s not gonna be possible if the system simply cannot handle that exact level of detail, we still have to wait for the graphical overhaul to happen, but that could just kill switch 1 entirely once it comes, the switch 2 could handle that new look, especially cause it runs a lot of modern games really well, I really hope they can consider this otherwise the system might be in trouble when it’s time to make the graphical changes

    Couldn’t agree more.

This is why they need to confirm it,

That behaviour is actively working on a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD, It would solve everything!

  • @XJavelX said:

They graphics Update ist supposed to arrive Sometime between mid and late 2027. I strongly suspekt they are waiting for the new ps6 and the new Xbox. They aren't doing anything for us. I am totally disappointed.

    I’m sorry, But I disagree.
No PS6 or Xbox etc will release right now with the ram prices this high. It would be a death sentence with pricing.

Maybe in late 2028 if that but I say early 2029.

The Nintendo Switch 2 can handle very well & is already out performs Xbox in certain games.

Such as, Pragmata, Final Fantasy 7 etc.

Yes Mat & Behaviour are keeping there cards too close to there chest.

Even so what’s inside the Nintendo Switch 2,

Is well able & is extremely capable to run the future graphics of DBD easily.

(And the current graphics to very easily too)

We just need an optimised exclusive version of Dead By Daylight for the Nintendo Switch 2.

It can easily hit 60fps & above, With upscaling or not. It would work very well for DBD especially Graphically/FPS on NS2.

I mean look how stunning Resident Evil Requiem looked on NS2.

The original Switch won’t handle the future DBD,

We loyal Dead By Daylight/Nintendo fans new & old. Deserve an Nintendo Switch 2 version for DBD.

And we’ll happily pay for it Behaviour !

    (Free money)

It’s been an darn year since Nintendo Switch 2 has been out & it’s a joke Behaviour hasn’t announced nothing honestly,

They need to wake up & at least give us some confidence back already.

That surprise, “ there at least been working on it already & we gotta wait little longer” Tell us that at least !

That would at least give us an definite answer.

Right now they won’t admit nor deny it, Even in a recent interview with IGN they said they can’t answer the question. That would DBD coming to Nintendo Switch 2 ?

I mean well, Announce it already Behaviour Enterainment please.

I’ve been playing in the fog since 2019,

I & we all at least deserve not to lose our purchases. Because Behaviour never gave us Nintendo fans a proper cross save!

Because we all know the Nintendo Switch 1 won’t handle the future of DBD at all.

Only the Nintendo Switch 2 can & will prove excellent for DBD bringing even more players to the fog!

Now after the 10th Anniversary which was incredible,

Yes we deserve answers please to this one question.

Mr Mathieu Cote I’m calling you out,

Please give us a definite answer regarding an dedicated version of Dead By Daylight exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2,

Is it coming/ being worked on!?

    Please answer Mathieu, Thank you.

    🎉🍾🎉

    Happy 10th Anniversary all !

  • No Nintendo Switch 2 announcement for DBD, What a sad day.

Matt, Top developers you’re leaving all your Nintendo/DBD fans in the dark.

Give us an announcement for a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 Version of Dead By Daylight !
(The platform has been out an year, It’s time to support it already)
To at least let us know, We will be able to play the future of DBD.

Without having to repurchase everything on another platform, it’s just so unfair & disheartening.

Awesome 10th anniversary but this just leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

    Peace.

  • Please Behaviour, Big Boss Matt in 1 hour from now.

Announce to the world & Give us a Nintendo Switch 2 optimised version of DBD.

    We’ll happy pay for it.

    Happy 10th anniversary !

    🎈 🍾 🎈

  • And with an optimised Nintendo Switch 2 version of Dead By Daylight.

With higher 60 minimum FPS & major Graphical Fidelity upgrade needed. Then we won’t get delays any further.

Due to the Switch 1 being way too old now to handle current DBD.

So we need a paid upgrade for Nintendo Switch 2 or paid physical today.

Matt please announce this during the 10th anniversary live stream hopefully!

  • I’m aware, But today is the live 10th anniversary stream.

    Appreciate the heads up regardless.

    Happy 10th anniversary to you!

(Please bring us another Silent Hill chapter: With the killer being The Bubble Head Nurse & Brookhaven Hospital as the map)

Just wanted to say thank you,

To all the fun in the fog & all the endless hard work you all put in at Behaviour !

Again Happy 10th Anniversary & thank you to everyone that makes DBD special!

Now I’m calling on the tippy top head of Behaviour, Yes you Mathieu Cote to say we have one more surprise today.

Please announce today at the live celebration.

(It’s been an long rough 1 year wait)

Please Mat announce an dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 Version of Dead By Daylight,

With a silky smooth 60 fps & a much much needed for DBD to look beautiful on Nintendo Switch 2, A Major Graphical Overhaul!
(We need to see details please)

We your loyal Nintendo players/Fans new/old deserve equal treatment!

Dead By Daylight needs a massive Graphical Overhaul/ Performance updated version made for Nintendo Switch 2.

Be it a full cartridge, game key cartridge or a paid upgrade path.

Loads of players would glady pay for this, Me included myself !

Furthermore this needs to happen Behaviour !

You can’t alienate a whole new platform nor the DBD Nintendo Community for another year.

So please give us your loyal Nintendo/DBD Players a slice of that good 10th anniversary cake this year.

And give us Nintendo Switch 2 players what we deserve!

Happy 10th Anniversary Behaviour & again thank you for everything,

Much Love & here for another 10 years to come !

After today Jason reaps, Crystal lake here we come.

    🎉🎉🎉

  • Honestly this is the worst idea, And clear intentions of tribalism !

Plague is not hard to go against.

Never has been, She is easily countered if you use common sense on when to cleanse. And she can be easy to steamroll.

Please stop with the one sided tribalism,

It’s bad for the games health & the whole community.

Play both sides, Get better, Adapt, & have fun in the fog.

    Happy 10th anniversary!

I don’t care what anyone says, I think it is total BS that some killers can see the aura of survivors. Clear across the map. In cabinets. Hiding. You must be a terrible killer or really insecure in your abilities to use that perk. I get it if you damage a generator then can see auras, but just to always be able to see them is BS! How much fun is hide and seek if you know where everyone is?

You know your being super hypocrite right?

There are perks on the survivor side, That allow survivors to see the killer aura for most of the match.

    But that’s perfectly fine right?

To me it seems your being one sided,

That your complaining about nothing, Maybe it’s you are not so strong at looping yourself! When a killer reveals your aura hrm?

Stop with pointless tribalism, It hurts the community & the games health!

Play both sides get better & have fun in the fog.

Still nothing at summer game fest today. How would Behaviour even manage to squeeze the new graphical overhaul with all the graphics improvements, new character models, lighting and all of that good stuff they're planing on a Switch 1 version of the game? Like that sounds like way more trouble than just making a Switch 2 version and brute-forcing it with the new hardware. This is getting ridiculous.

    Couldn’t agree more on this.

So from today it marks 1 year & one day that the Nintendo Switch 2 has been around.

    Now keep in mind Behaviour,

Yes you Behaviour I’m calling all the big developers/higher ups out !

Now is the time to act because honestly the alienating of an whole Brand New Platform being Nintendo Switch 2

(Which has been out for a year now, Hasn’t got an Optimised FPS/Performance & Massively Improved Graphical Overhaul that it deserves !)

Every other platform got day one patches,
Be from PS4 - PS5, Xbox Series, Stream, Epic, Any PC storefront had all day one optimised versions of Dead by Daylight.

On there first day of a console/platform launch!

Now the Nintendo Switch 2 been a year & still hasn’t!? It’s time to wake up Behaviour seriously. We your loyal Nintendo players/Fans new/old deserve equal treatment!

DBD needs a massive Graphical Overhaul/ Performance updated version made for Nintendo Switch 2.

Be it a full cartridge, game key cartridge or paid upgrade path.

Loads of players would glady pay for this, Me included myself !

Furthermore this needs to happen Behaviour !

You can’t alienate a whole new platform nor the DBD Nintendo Community anymore !

  • @XJavelX said:

    I understand you & I feel similar.

You can’t alienate a whole new platform nor the DBD Nintendo Community.

So let’s hope on 14th the 10 year Anniversary live stream,

We get an Overhauled Optimised Version of DBD for Nintendo Switch 2 announced & available straight after the Anniversary stream ends!

  • Stop please less legendaries or preferably remove them for good.

It ruins the personal touch of our personalities mixing cosmetic pieces we have collected.

Give us full Survivor/Killer Chapters that way at least we can customise depending on said licence.

    Nothing against Tifa or FF7

I'm also hoping for an upgrade for the Switch 2. It would be an amazing way to celebrate the anniversary.

I don’t mind/ we the Nintendo DBD player base would happily pay for an Upgrade/Cart or Key Card !
For an Optimised/Graphical Overhaul version of DBD for Switch 2.

Even more so for the 10th anniversary!

    🎉

  • I sense tribalism one sided approach from your statement,

I’ve been playing regularly since late 2018 & most of what you’re saying isn’t the case.

And yes I play both sides & have high mmr in both.

I feel your just pushing an one sided narrative,

Which isn’t good for the community nor the health for the game.

The only thing I will say,

Maybe behavior might add gen parts that you have to find in the game map, Then you’re able to start repairing an gen once inserted. Might give the survivor role something else to do, That is if you get bored easily.

    Thats all,

Have fun in the fog & play both sides.

  • It’s called the volume button,

It’s really not an issue just turn down your headphones/buds etc during the lobby.

I don’t find his screams even bothering, But each to there own.

I actually play/enjoy a lot of horror media & sound is a key in that genre in general.

I mean it’s just lazy not to just rotate your dial or a button no? This is why we have volume controls in everything.

They did just do multiple legendaries for the same attack on titan character that cost the same price, so there is no reason we can't have more Claire and Chris

I agree, But it would be nice if they made them full fledge survivors/killers too.

Imagine mixing up Jill’s lost in nightmares outfit with her original S.T.A.R.S set pieces!

Currently we aren’t allowed which is silly & unfair,

That can be same for original Chris (S.T.A.R.S outfit) with Resi 5 etc/Claire’s biker jacket, Imagine being able to mix & match there set pieces would be amazing.

It would be amazing to see more legendary skins added to Dead by Daylight for both Survivors and Killers, especially as limited-time releases. Bringing over some exclusive designs from the mobile version, or creating brand-new, high-quality skins, would make the store feel a lot more exciting. Just like you guys did Gurardians and Shadows skins for Rift pass before! Their skins is so amazing!

Limited-time cosmetics would give players something special to look forward to and create a sense of urgency and hype within the community. A lot of players love collecting rare skins, and this could really boost engagement and keep the game feeling fresh. (PS. backpacks including)

Thank you so much for reading this! and You guys are so amazing, and supporting this DBD community.

Legendary skins are the worse thing to happen,

They restrict and do not give players freedom to express their personality through there characters set prices.

I rather have full fledge survivors/killers (As well perks/portraits for them) And no more silly legendary skins.

Because it ruins customisation to express your personality!

Yeah I really want more outfits for Claire, she is my favourite RE character

I couldn’t agree more for Claire too!

Yet they should just give Claire & Chris proper survivor status so we can get more cosmetics for them.

And to make our custom outfits with them too,

    Not silly unfun legendaries!

  • I think your concern is invalid,

Jason’s jump scares are in the movies dude.

As for older killers yeah they deserve buffs,

But Jason does not need to be touched at all, He isn’t even out till tomorrow.

Honestly Spirit got nerfed 4 times in a row for no reason, Just like Krasue didn’t need an nerf at all.

Now you barely see Krasue, Just because of the tribalism in this game.

Killers need an slight edge it’s 1 vs 4, It’s an horror game after all.

So I will reinforce it again,

    Yes older killers deserves buffs,

But new or old killers should not be nerfed for that to happen end of !

Players just need to adapt and learn to play against certain Killers/perks !

People moaning about Jason before PTB just shows how entitled/tribalism needs to get out of this community!

(It’s bad for the games health)

  • I hate legendary cosmetics myself,

We need full killers/survivors so we can customise them with our own personal touch.

(Show our personality in the fog)

Not useless legendary skins where you can’t.

I’m all up for Ashley & a new Resi killer or two tho!

  • We deserve an official update on the live anniversary stream about an Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD.

Even if it’s a paid upgrade/Game Key Card or Full Cartridge release many of us would happily pay for!

  • instead of skins an proper chapter would be better for resident evil for new survivors & killer’s I say.

    Even a new map too.

I dislike legendary’s skins that make set pieces unchangeable & it’s nice to customise our favourite characters. As it would be nice to be able to change up outfit peices from Resi too ! For each character properly.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/466991/a-small-simple-change-to-stop-gen-rushing

Tbh as a survivor this sounds kinda bad, but I do like it. Maybe not 15 seconds, but 10 would be better.

As a killer, this does sound good agains those who is good to fix generators. But gen rushing is mostly the killer playstyle problem. But genrushing can come in favor too. Usually survivors 3gen themself in favor for a killer.

I like your idea! Keep em coming!

How is it down to killer play style alone?

Thats so narrow minded, I mean there swf/randoms that do regularly use gen rush perks

(Which all the team can use at once)

Also the worse of it, There are brand new parts & toolboxes too.

    No mind Vigil too.

It has nothing to do with the killer play style alone,

The problem perks/tools need addressing & adjustment for the health of all players.

  • @SlyKing said:

The Cenobite’s old perk “Deadlock” could be made partly basekit. This would mean after a generator is complete:

    • The generator with the most progress is blocked for 15 seconds
    • The perk “Deadlock” is changed to only add an extra 10 seconds to this timer, making it the same as usual.

this change would do several nice things, such as:

    • Stopping multiple gens from popping back to back, which is known to be very frustrating for killers
    • Allows the killer to regain lost pressure by giving info on the next gen to pop
    • Doesn’t negate survivors progress on a generator and isn’t intrusive enough to be problematic
    • And makes killers less reliant on gen regression, allowing for more perk diversity.

I do really think this SHOULD be tested in a PTB because it could really be extremely healthy for the game.

So essentially an nerf to deadlock.

(Which has been recently nerfed for no reason)

I would rather stick to the deadlock in its current state & lose an perk slot for it!

it’s certain perks on the survivor role/gen stacking speeds that need to be addressed.

Your changes would make things even worse unfortunately.

This would just mess up queueing completely. I'm sure it's beyond fair to have knowledge of what game will you join. You see high ping survivors, you should see high ping killers. I'm mainly killer players, therefore I believe that i shouldn't be punished for other players to have bad ping when I have good one.

    Other cross-play multiplayer games.

Have ping to match ping system so it could work for DBD.

Just the ping would have to be by certain amounts as I said above.

Who knows Behaviour could add something like this in the future hopefully!

  • High ping is an advantage for both roles.

My suggestion is DBD should match players near there ping.

Aka matching pings pairs with 20-30, 30-50, 50-70 pings together and so on.

This would create fairer balance for both roles playing.

hi, james sunderland in dead by daylight feels outdated and could use a rework, especially his face. since this is a legendary skin, it should be higher quality and match the character better. he’s the main character of silent hill 2, and in the 2024 remake his face has more detail and emotion, while in dbd he looks more generic. because of that, i think a facial rework based on the remake would be a good idea and would better represent the character. if you take this into consideration, thank you.

I’m for this & I would love to see an update to all the silent hill characters models.

Plus Behaviour add voices to all the silent hill characters would be great.

(Please give Maria the Heaven’s Night music while your waiting in the lobby would be sweet!)

Heather’s base model needs a model face & hair rework as well.

Her face is still off and Heather’s needs more fluff/thickness in her hair around her fringe & sides on her base model/Princess model.

In September, they said, "We're not currently planning a Switch 2 version."

In an IGN interview four weeks ago, when asked about a Switch 2 version, they said, "I'm not allowed to answer that." This means the version is now in development and will likely be announced at Nintendo Direct in June (or on the 10th anniversary).

The Switch 2 has DLSS 3.5, which is perfect for Dead by Daylight's Unreal Engine 5. Furthermore, the Switch 2 will surpass Xbox Series sales next year, so they can't ignore it. Don't believe what Mandy says, as if she can just randomly drop a new version on the forum—that's nonsense! 🤣

    https://www.ign.com/articles/dead-by-daylight-devs-celebrate-10-years-of-eldritch-evil-and-hope-for-many-many-more

I pray for this to be true.

The Nintendo switch 2 is powerful & is out selling like crazy which I’m happy for.

Because it gives so much more opportunity to new developers & old.

Like Behaviour is majorly missing out on a big player base & a lot new/old players will upgrade too. When they make a paid Switch 2 version !

    “Free money Behaviour”

(Which has to be vastly optimised & major graphical overhaul, case in point Resident evil Requiem)

Meaning more money for Behaviour !

So Behaviour please wake up on this.

Yeah Mandy responses have been very lacklustre some days on the subject.

(Guess she could be told to hush)

I mean it’s nearly been a whole year since the Nintendo Switch 2 has been out.

(All other new platforms got it day one)

Like I hope they have been working hard on it for at least 7 months for Switch 2 version/paid upgrade.

  • I’ve always wanted each gen for you to go search for a missing part (Which randomly spawn’s in different areas every time in each map, Which can’t be predicted) Then once installed you’re then able to start repair.

As for your idea not bad, My suggestion combine both the parts/damaged gen idea. Then we have a winner.

This has been an issue since Dead By Daylight was released on Switch 1.

I understand that the game was very limited on the Switch 1 due of is specs.
But i can´t understand why the game on Switch 2 is abandoned by the company.

In Steam deck, which it has same specs, you can run the game in better graphics, in better frames and with keyboard and mouse.

Meanwhile in Switch 2, the game is the same port as Switch 1.

A lot of players are from Switch 2 as well, not as the amount on PS5 or Xbox, but a good amount we´re from there.
Surely if the developers give some love or a Switch 2 update, the players from the Nintendo console would dump into the game as well.

Play Survivor is terrible on loops, you can´t compete against players with better specs, and as Killer has no option.

You can´t see anything, everything is pixelated, and as a role where every detail is important, is horrorific.

I can´t really understand why the console can play Cyberpunk on good quality and frames, Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata etc but runs poorly on a game that is 10 years old?

Give us some love too! Maybe not the Keyboard and mouuse, but at least, make the game run smoother and in better quality.

Showing some love, will attract new players to the platform, which means more money for you.

I would like to also urge BHVR to make a Switch 2 version of Dead by Daylight. The game looks like ass on Switch nowadays, things have just been getting steadily worse and now we're being regularly kicked out of crossplay (something y'all are blaming Nintendo for, yet I see no other live service multiplayer having these issues). We're being treat like the ugly step child that smells. Either abandon the platform all together or bring the game to Switch 2. Right now things are awful on Switch 1, barely playable. I upgraded to Switch 2 just so I could play the game at a stable framerate. Either the Switch port needs some major optimisation or you need to leverage the power of the Switch 2 because right now you're serving nobody the way things currently are.

Mandy you guys are going to kill your game that easily has another 10 years of life in it. Completely ignoring your community on the way the current game looks from the graphical direction change years ago. To literally ignoring the new generation console that is infinitely better than the original and could actually play this game really well. Right now no one has anything else to play, but you guys had to remove Michael Myers from your shop for the new game coming out already. Your entire player base will abandon you the reddit thread getts hundreds of comments daily about people complaining about this stuff. You guys simply havent even add day/night variants of maps like Overwatch even has that. When a game takes off you are supposed to ride the wave yet all you keep doing is fumbling the game. The biggest streamers don't touch it anymore Sodapoppin used to bring 40k people to this games section. How do you actually lose that when the players still want to play but you refuse to make any meaningful changes?

I 100% agree with both of you on this matter.

It’s just embarrassing & shows a true lack of care to Nintendo/DBD players.

I mean it’s been out for nearly a whole year & people have been requesting an Nintendo Switch 2 version of Dead by Daylight upgrade or key card.

After behaviour lied to us & blamed Nintendo for not giving the Switch players a full cross save transfer.

Yet other multiplayer games allow this,

Even so for Behaviour to Alienate a whole new platform/gennration being the Nintendo Switch 2 for a year.

And games like, Overwatch, Apex Legends, Even freaking Asphalt Legends giving players Nintendo Switch 2 Versions of there games before behaviour.

Shows there lack of care or understanding to there player base at all!

I mean they support the epic store for DBD before Switch 2. (Madness)

And what did epic players bring to DBD fake accounts with exploits & hackers.

    Yes behaviour thinking straight there,

Instead caring about its loyal players on Nintendo Switch 2,

Now it’s time to wake up developers at Behaviour.

We deserve an optimised 60 fps at least & a major graphic overhaul Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD!(Look at Resident Evil/Final Fantasy shows how good it can look on NS2)

    That’s all!

    Hey Mandy!

First off, massive thanks for actually replying to some of us! Obv DBD fan here, that said, I’m reaching out because the Switch 2 launch had so many of us (myself included) hyped for an optimized upgrade, and it’s just… not there. The hardware can handle way more, but right now, it feels like a straight Switch 1 carryover with only FPS bumped up (which is nice, stable 30fps is playable at least).

The graphics are holding it back hard, textures straight-up don’t load half the time, and survivor faces, I can’t even tell who’s who without squinting (Nancy looks like she’s wearing a wig and balding under it). Hairs are stringy messes or just wildly off-model, new characters such as Rick got that worm hair ((that’s pretty bad looking.)) Trees and floors look slapped together, low-res and jagged…Literally the whole environment’s fighting itself lmao.

I’ve seen this echoed everywhere: Reddit threads calling it “piss weak” visuals and “awful” compared to PC/Switch 2 peers, X posts begging for a patch because it’s “PS2 graphics” or “deep fried,” etc etc. We’re talking hundreds of players voicing the same thing since launch. A (proper) Switch 2 update—higher res textures, better models, anti-aliasing—would make this a really awesome portable experience it deserves and keep the community happy.

BHVR’s done a really good job with cross-play and content drops, and this feels like low-hanging fruit. (Practically rotting at this point 😭)

But please, at least ponder this, at least give it ANY consideration!

    Cheers,

    Pink :))

((I have some photos of some things that look pretty-uh- interesting.))

    Hey there Mandy,

I honestly feel you aren’t yourself passing on the demand over that Nintendo/DBD community needs & deserves an Nintendo Switch 2 version of Dead By Daylight.
To any higher ups or that it’s being brought up in meetings barely at all if nothing.

Dead by Daylight needs an Nintendo Switch 2 version, Be it a Paid Upgrade, Cartridge, or Game Key cartridge.

That brings a performance optimised higher & an a huge graphical fidelity to boot in a Switch 2 version.

I mean every other platform has had this,

I just feel Behaviour is missing the mark or that communication on behalf of the community asking non stop isn’t getting through.

Honestly at this point it’s so sad & looks bad on Behaviour and yourself Mandy,

The Nintendo Switch 2 has been out 9 months yet,

Nothing no care from you or Behaviour itself,

It just shows the lack of care towards your loyal DBD community.

I know you guys definitely have Nintendo Switch 2 dev kits & are widely available, So don’t play that angle.

Big & small developers have Switch 2 developer kits & they have already made Nintendo Switch 2 upgrades/versions of there games.

Look at Resident Evil Requiem is a dam excellent game, Graphically & performance on the Nintendo Switch 2 runs like smooth butter.

And Capcom is an partner of yours,

Yet you at Behaviour have had longer than Capcom,

    (9 Months or more)

To build a Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD yet Capcom & even vastly smaller game developer’s they beat you to it with less development time.

Honestly at this point I don’t think you care Mandy nor Behaviour,

Your total alienating your loyal DBD/Nintendo community at this point.

And you’re not doing the best job to bring this demand up in meetings for certain.

I mean I quoted Pink below that asked you & called you out for a response, Yet you said nothing.

    (Where is the care!?)

Honestly at this point we deserve & the community demands an Nintendo Switch 2 version of Dead by Daylight.

That brings a major Graphical overhaul & Performance boost.

We would all gladly pay for it,

So stop alienating your fanbase & an entire platform !

It’s an poor showing on your part Behaviour,

It’s been well over a year now.

    (Nearly 2 years soon enough)

Other multiplayer games have brought over full Nintendo Switch 2 versions of there games for a better user experience.

(Which other developers did it in within 6 months or less)

DBD needs a major Performance Boost for FPS & a Big time Graphical Overhaul for Nintendo Switch 2 version.

(People would happily pay for an Upgrade path, Physical Version or Physical Game Key Card for DBD)

    Hey there,

Could we please have a in depth update on this matter !

Also address the replies above of other users asking for a proper developer response,

For a much needed Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD.

I mean it’s been nearly 2 years soon,

I feel behaviour needs to stop alienating its Nintendo switch 2 players.

It’s about time Behaviour shows that it cares to its loyal DBD Nintendo players already!
