Concerns regarding a few killers after seeing how Jason plays via the stream gameplay preview

So far, he seems pretty good, very overtuned, as his power consists of many previous killers abilities or similar variations, and I have major concerns about a few killers specifically

Dark lord, springtrap, and spirit: Jason has a fusion between springtraps projectile on a dark lord teleport with a built in addon that blocks pallets, with images to choose which and how you teleport (the Jumpscare part for the teleport or movement stealth is built into it) which not onky Jumpscares, but also acts as a better bat form than dark lords, and even better one than spirit.

Demo, xeno, and sadako, they were already roughly similar to each other with differences in how they do it, but then springtrap comes in, and becomes a better special anti loop attacker and mobility killer than Xenomorph (and at stealth too bc the turrets still too op by taking undetectable away by making it useless, which, for a creature meant for stealth, is stupid, but also cancels out all stealth perks), whom was a better split between sado and demo, and now Jason is a better springtrap with the added incapacitated and knock back affect that his projectiles uses and more consistent and usable, it feels like the more killers that come put with different or more perfected versions of older killers kits, the less viable the older ones get, and causes more frustration when trying to play them once survivors get used to and learn the new killers patterns and abilities that are just more fresh and polished and perfected, making killers like xeno, and demo, and sado more difficult and frustrating to play.

Pyramid head... his REAL unique abilities was the portable hook (cage ability) and his built in mori ability on death hook survivors, but requires an affect to be able to do, but Jason doesn't, all he needs (or for what it looks like) is just to get the final hit on a death hook player with the projectile he has and can immediately do it

All this is gonna cause MASSIVE powercreep and make some of the best killers more predictable and less viable than Jason due to the refined mechanics, xeno already needed a rework bc it was too Similar to demo and sado, but now, Springtrap might need one as well, just for those 2 alone to stand out more, bc demo and sado can still get buffs and standout but the other 2 can't, and dark lords bat form is gonna need a rework (or rework him entirely) for bat form and the built in pallet block on teleport success, and the speed boost that is obtained that Jason gets after the teleport which Is the same as wolf forms orb collection for Dracula, and spirits only power is basically phasing, going fast and surprise attacks, Jason, while restricted a bit more on free traversal ability on success teleport/jumpscare, basically takes spirits entire identity from her, so she needs a buff or a rework to stand out again, I don't like feeling like I have to resorting to calling out reworks or buffs for killers before Jason even comes out, but it's already clear these killers are gonna get heavily powercrept and lose their identities and some of them won't be able reobtain it through simple buffs, while excited for Jason's arrival, this immediately came to mind as soon as the gameplay was being shown, and at this point, idk how to feel about newer killers being better versions of other killers (specifically licensed ones) bc then, most times, reworks or power reimagination for some (at least, in my personal opinion), but since licensed ones are more difficult to do due to needing the original license holders green lit and potential their take on it, and considering how many we've gotten, it's unlikely this'll happen immediately or, at all, which will cause some of these noted killers to be left behind or forgotten about even more than some of them already are or were

  • I think your concern is invalid,

Jason’s jump scares are in the movies dude.

As for older killers yeah they deserve buffs,

But Jason does not need to be touched at all, He isn’t even out till tomorrow.

Honestly Spirit got nerfed 4 times in a row for no reason, Just like Krasue didn’t need an nerf at all.

Now you barely see Krasue, Just because of the tribalism in this game.

Killers need an slight edge it’s 1 vs 4, It’s an horror game after all.

So I will reinforce it again,

    Yes older killers deserves buffs,

But new or old killers should not be nerfed for that to happen end of !

Players just need to adapt and learn to play against certain Killers/perks !

People moaning about Jason before PTB just shows how entitled/tribalism needs to get out of this community!

(It’s bad for the games health)

Yes I'm fully aware of this, but I never said he needs a nerf, I just said he's overtuned from what it looks like, meaning, I could be entirely wrong about how refined how Jason uses these mechanics from other killers but it doesn't change that this will definitely have an impact on those older killers, I'm just trying to be realistic here is all, but saying my concern is invalid is far from being true or false, I've seen some Similar comments from people on different platforms (like YouTube, reddit, etc etc) about having this same concern as I do, even if it's for the same or different reasons

  • I don't really agree Jason is powercreeping too much, at least based on my impressions.

    • I won't debate that Demogorgon has been powercrept, but IMO this has more to do with it having the worst traversal power in the game for no clear reason rather than the dash itself
    • Pyramid Head's "real power" was never the cages or the mini mori. You could argue his ability to tunnel off cages used to be a major strength but that is no longer really the case, and mini moris do not save that much time.
    • Spirit can attack out of Phase, she will be fine
    • Dracula has two other Powers, he will be fine (plus bat form can end anywhere, unlike Jason who has deadzones)
    • I think there's more of an argument that Xeno has too many unjustified downsides, but it's worth saying Xeno can absolutely spam tail attack while Springtrap needs to wait for a sluggish cooldown and Jason has to use a prop to replenish it which can often involve walking away from a chase
    • Re. Springtrap, just eyeballing it Springtrap's walk speed while charging axe throw still seems faster than Jason while charging the spear, and I think Springtrap's recovery after axe throw is also much faster. Plus Springtrap of course has the heavy arc gimmick that Jason doesn't, and free Undetectable.
    • I have utterly no idea why you bring up Sadako because she has nothing in common with any of these Killers what is she doing here
