Jason(slasher) is to powerful

I am writing to share feedback regarding the current balance state of Jason (The Slasher). In his current state, his kit feels completely overtuned and takes away the fundamental tracking tools survivors rely on to play the match. Here are the specific areas that make him feel completely oppressive to play against:Lack of Counterplay During Repairs: Because Omnipresent Evil removes his terror radius and red stain while granting a massive speed boost, survivors have zero early warning signs while working on objectives. The Jump Scare Breakout: Exiting his stealth phase by instantly shattering nearby pallets, walls, or windows creates a completely un-dodgeable hit scenario. Survivors are actively punished for staying on a generator, even if they are hyper-aware of their surroundings.Oppressive Tracking: Allowing his stealth mode to actively track generator progress cues completely removes the risk-reward element of a stealth killer losing their targets. He can map-pressure objectives too easily.Overtuned Add-ons: The "Silver" rarity add-ons, specifically Deputy's Badge, allow him to passively regress generators just by passing them while invisible. When stacked with current meta-regression perks, it makes completing a single generator nearly impossible for an uncoordinated or Solo Queue team.

  • Jason is fine & is balanced perfectly, Nothing is wrong with him.

This is the one sided whining tribalism that needs to go already.

Because of this Krasue got destroyed, Bearly seen now due to some not all survivors. Not wanting to learn her counter play.

Now you’re complaining about Jason, Even tho he’s been out barely a month.
Every time now on day one a new killer comes out, This bad habit needs to stop with the one sided narrative.

It’s bad for community & over all games health !

Stop it already, He’s been out a day & you’re complaining.

    It shows your true intentions,

Play both sides learn & adapt have fun in the fog !

This is coming from a player, Who does play both sides & has been activity playing since 2019.

Just stop with one sided narrative, Jason hasn’t even been out for 2 months to even get more data on him.

Personally he’s an A- at best.

    Happy 10th anniversary all!

    🍾

  • I respect your opinion, but giving feedback on a killer's design isn't the same thing as wanting them nerfed into the ground.

Playing both sides is exactly why I think feedback is important. A killer can be strong, fun, and still have mechanics that deserve discussion. Pointing out potential balance concerns isn't "tribalism"—it's how games improve over time.

I'm not saying Jason is overpowered or needs to be gutted. I'm saying some parts of his kit feel frustrating from a survivor perspective and are worth looking at. That's feedback, not a demand.

At the end of the day, more data will tell the story. If the stats show he's balanced, great. If they show certain mechanics are too strong, then adjustments can be made. Either way, discussing balance shouldn't be dismissed as whining.

Happy 10th Anniversary, and see you in the Fog.

Hey at least you didn't want his spike nerfed, for some reason a lot of people say he can spam them too much or that he reloads too fast compared to huntress or trickster. Don't really understand that logic because huntress has 7 hatchets and trickster what now... 30 knifes of something? xD

Ah forgot the reasoning itself, jason only has one spike and has to go out of his way to get them - so I think that's fair :D
