ESPECIALLY THE GUY ON THE HOOK!!😂

@[Deleted User] said:
Reminds me of the time when I sat around a hook until a survivor died because all 3 of the other survivors were hiding around the hook. Then they accused me of camping "for no reason".
I was playing scratched mirror Myers by the way. I can see you hiding.
minus the SM Myers, yeah that’s typically the case. Survivors will accuse the killer for camping because the survivors are really the ones camping

I think there are plenty of good players!
i quit ps4 because they were so bad. I quit pc cause... I just don’t care for pc veriosn. Xbox version is full of potatoes (slightly better at the game than the PS4 population). I stopped play mobile cause no one was good at it and it sucks. Xbox is the better between the two consoles (as far a skilled people go) and they still suck lmao

Agreed. I would much rather have an improved performance (especially on console) and two chapters per year than the 4 chapters and weak performance that we have now.
We have enough content. Fix the game.
3 chapters a year (every 4 months). Gives more time to fix/balance the content. While also giving the devs more time to fix and optimize or add to the things they never get around too (for example controller sensitivity)

Good players

Asking for a developer update during the holiday season seems a bit insensitive. Developers should be able to enjoy the holidays in peace, just like everyone else.
It’s December 9th. They’re not on holiday vacation yet? Why would it be wrong to ask them to see result of their work while they’re working????

Update: I just got into another lobby and someone had a key! I dodged the lobby. This game is going to make me bat sh*t f*cking crazy

This community can be toxic enough as it is. Bringing in more piss ant little kids would not be good for anybody.
I could careless what piss ant kids think. I would like to die because the person or people I play against are good. I don’t want win anymore cause the killer is dumb. I don’t want to lose anymore cause my team doesn’t realize we’re a team. I want to win and lose in this game cause someone did better than me or that I did better than them. Fortnite players actually try to “git Gud” as they say. I guess my point is that I want game to be more competitive and I want it to be a challenge to play against the killer. Not a challenge to carry my team. I want it to be a challenge to kill survivors... not trying to kill these durpy rank 14’s that magically got put in the game with me as killer (rank 1-7). It’s no fun killing noobs

@StrodeWins said:
moris to kill shouldn’t exist..
would you agree with that? if your answer is “no” then reconsider the bias. just saying...
I’d say mori should exist. They should require the killer too hook someone twice in order for them to be moriable. Just so the survivor had a fair game of two hooks. If the survivor was on 1st hook without being unhooked and than made it into struggle phase, than the killer still would only be able too hook the survivor. With keys, only the survivor who uses the key should be able to escape with it. So than by anyone else who picked up the key can still use it, if that other person lost it by death/drop/franklins

You can't seriously think Legion is fine after playing just 1 match with him. I suggest you to play more with Legion and then come to a conclussion about his viability.
He’s still as viable as he was last week and the months before is the point. I needed one game to tell me that. It went exactly the same as every game I play with legion. He’s not bad

Ruin, Pop, Thana...those Tru3 builds are 🤮🤮🤮🤮 and boost killers to ranks they don't belong. I play 70% killer (because on ps4 it literally rarely let me play survivor due to errors) and i HATE slowing the game down. I rather get kills based on skill rather than having to slow the game down to 20-30 min.
It's annoying when someone says a certain killer doesn't suck but then they say they used ruin/pop/sloppy/dying light/thana .
See, skill comes in chase. Who said I was skillful for slowing the game down??? And idc if some streamer runs the same perks I do

@Stornt said:
Any killer can do well if played right. I've personally been enjoying new Legion changes because of the vault speed and running speed changes. Sure deep wounds aren't really a major threat, but I'd be lying if I said it still didn't help slow.
12 seconds for one survivor to be out of doing anything is pretty nice sometimes. 8 seconds is even better when there's two people, because that's two not doing anything for 8 seconds.
Gotta be optimistic with changes and do your best to have fun, because that's how games are meant to be played!
Especially when the survivors want to keep healing because of the thanta penalty, so that’s another 16 seconds not doing anything. You can manage to keep finding them with frenzy and nurses. Gens are slowed downs tremendously by ruin and pop... he’s a great killer for locking survivors into bad situations

Xbox is feeling better too. Better. Better than the when Demogorgon released. I’m glad I’m not the only feeling this way especially between both consoles

Has anyone tested if the new kindred coupled with open-handed extends the detection range of the killer by 8 meters? I recall there was also a cap of 24m detection range with the old kindred. Is anyone able to test and confirm if open-handed still works with kindred, and if the cap has been extended or removed altogether? Thank you!
It has always coupled with opened handed lol. You never did the aura build? Bond, kindred, windows of opportunity, and open-handed with a full SWF!? The open-handed stacks by 4, which is 32 meters. With bond 3, that totals to 68 meter range. Windows of opportunity 3, with 4 stack of open-handed makes 56 meter range. With kindred!!!! It’s amazing!!!! It’s a 48 meter range!!! Which makes the reverse bbq effect that kindred gives you so much better. You should definitely try it out with some friends!

Why was the Bill Sweater Free? Thank you very much btw! And obviously you can’t tell us if there is any plan for more Left 4 Dead Content (Cosmetics), but do you guys are hope to do in the future with valve?

Dude it took me a month to get my Dwight p3'ed... I really don't understand how someone manages to have so many characters maxed out....
I’ve been playing since beta on pc. I moved to console dbd the day after it released on console. I’ve played everyday since

@drunky26 said:
Well for starters I wouldn't prestige because it's a huge ######### waste. I p3'd my Dwight, Feng and Claudette, I'm glad I didn't prestige any more characters.
I'd just unlock every teachable and spend the rest on one survivor.
Lol for awhile I wanted prestige everyone and to p3 50. I did max out 8 characters but I have 12 p3 50 survivors and 14 p3 50 killers.
-
I’ve seen 3 so far. Since Tuesday. They all camped and tunneled. So I started playing killer Oni for the rest of the week. The other few killers I saw was a plague (who was actually good) and a dumb bubba

While I get what you're saying, we did just give every 18 free cosmetics earlier this week. The point of giving people the event cosmetics was to compensate for the fact that people had lost them due to loss of progress. We found a better solution that would have allowed us to award them only to people who had earned them. I'm sorry if the free cosmetics we gave you weren't good enough, but this way is more fair to the people who put in the effort to get them.
They are more than good enough (especially bills sweater) so thank you very much. On behalf of everyone else, thank you

yes, my main account on xbox is the same name as it is here. I remember specifically killing you with Freddy on my girlfriends account tho cause she has better stuff on her Freddy than me lmao. Feel welcome to add my main account tho :)

Hey! I killed you on Xbox the other day and I am also a bill main. From that game tho, gg.

@Mr_K said:
I wish it was a reverse bbq. That would imply bbq aura last for as long as a survivor is on the hook.
😉
Well, once the killer hooks a survivor it should take you less than 4 seconds to exit the 16 meter range of the hook.

Best part of the update, Hate to say it but i swf over 10 ranks above me and Kindred Saves my ass everytime! (unless its a basement hook :sad noises: )
Also did i read this correctly "Usually when I play killer and it’s a game with no SWF at all... they die to easy"
Its just something i don't usually hear unless the player is Godlike
i play on console, Xbox, but... yeah red/purple rank solos are just as bad as your average yellow ranks survivors. With a slight bit of slugging, solos are way too easy to kill (I slug some cause I don’t use slow perks). I’m not godlike, the survivors are just poo.
-
I run noed when I want to be lazy, endgame builds (some killers I only use endgame builds on.. wraith), when I’m full of frustration towards how broken this game is, or I just want to give survivors a false hope that I’m a trash rank 20 killer. Than at end game I’ll bloodwarden and noed them

I will say that as far as PS4 goes I have yet to be hit by a Oni "insta down". Its so damn easy to dodge, maybe its different with PC/mouse sensitivity but PS4 Oni needs some help.
He’s easy to get people with the dash on Xbox but just actually hitting a survivor while not in dash but still with the instant down... it’s ######### what hasn’t registered as hits due to auto aim

Look,i don't do these "dirty tactics"but some people will.Either cause they are forced to by survivors rushing gens or by themselves cause they can't learn to play any other way.If the team ur playing against is altruistic,then camping will benefit you cause they will all come to save and no one will be doing gens.Hope u get my point and what i'm trying to say
I realize that, but when there is no over bearing rush of gens nor altruism, than why do the “dirty” tactics? It just doesn’t make sense. I wouldn’t be upset about camping and tunneling Oni’s getting wrecked. I mean I’m a killer main, I understand. However, I can’t learn to play against Oni if all he is doing is camping and tunneling myself or teammates the entire game. I don’t want to sit on a hook nor a gen all game. The only time those tactics are dirty tho is when you do it out of petty or cause you refuse to actually play

Well if your on console, that's why. Oni is really bad there. You can't flick and survs can dodge your swing easy peasy.
I was able to flick yesterday (Xbox)? That’s odd. I was actually able to play him better than billy, but yea the survivors can dodge regular swings pretty easy (when he’s all red and stuff)

Everybody is kinda still learning him,especially if ur on a console cause console doesn't have ptb so they couldn't even test him out.Take it slow,people will learn how to play him :F
Yeah I’m on console. I mean I played as him yesterday and tbh if I sucked, than I let the survivors go. If I was doing good than I kept killing. No need for the dirty tactics just cause you haven’t learned someone yet and there’s no need to make someone experience with Oni bad. Idk, it’s just kind of a disgust/annoyance.

'Certain streamer' likes to express a lot of questionable viewpoints just to stir the pot and stand out.
I doubt the Devs have any plans to nerf Wraith, it's not Pig or Legion, after all.
Peanits talked about it in the discussion so yea, he’s okay

LUL one streamer says something and a whole lot of people instantly go crazy, propably already planning the next killer "strike"
Me, being the guy who started the discussion. I was just concerned about it because I’ve seen backlash towards the wraith recently but peanuts confirmed no harm will be done to the wraith

We are not looking to nerf the Wraith.
Thanks for the clarification, but if you could change him what would you do? Not as a dev but as a player?

Not to be disrespectful to them, but if they’re older players it’s entirely possible they struggle to make out Wraith’s outline as he approaches, and if any of them play on Switch there’s apparently a bug making him impossible to see sometimes. If it is eyesight, then I’m sorry but I can’t claim to have much sympathy since as a colorblind player the devs have been decisively uncaring that blood without bloodhound is useless for me on any outdoor map since beta. Vision issues don’t get any care from the devs heh.
Otherwise, it’s pretty objective he’s the weakest stealth killer since he’s the only one without an instadown (Pig isn’t true stealth imo) so I wouldn’t worry about what you see people saying too much.
i mean surely some of them have trouble with eyesight and maybe even hearing, but I don’t think it is a major cause to there arugment. The arguments are typically pretty consistent to what they are here but less spiteful.

@Spooky13 said:
Nurse is just trash on console in general. Usually when a new killer comes out there will be performance issues, similarly to Demo, and will probably happen with Oni. Although FPS is a lot worse than PC, it isn't as bad as many people say. The game does freeze on the results screen and during loading frequently, as well as constantly being hit with "No Network Connection" and "Host Unreachable."
Source: Am Xbox player.
nah, I didn’t hyperbolize what i said. The FPS and the optimization for the game is currently as bad as I said it is. The nurse has always been good on console too, I know cause I mained her for like a year. It’s just really bad now with her auto aim since her change which I don’t think should of been affected by anything. Either way, I mean. I agree people do oversize certain issues

Reddit’s DbD community is by and large extremely survivor leaning so large salt rocks need to be taken when looking there. Facebook...I’ll be honest, I’ve never been able to take a Facebook community seriously so...
The Facebook community was introduced to me by my friend. They’re just a bunch of middle age men and women, they are very logical and reasonable. I don’t see many of them ######### the entire time, so I find them respectable. I have Instagram for dbd news, vids, memes and the tiny 500ish followers I have.. a few of them have mentioned it before so it’s built my concern for old bing bong
-
It doesn’t make you a Vet for saving bp. I’m a vet since beta, I’ve played the game everyday for over 3 years. I don’t save for the chapters all the time
-
I play both. It gets boring for me on both sides. New killers help my addiction stay, but I agree. It’s time we something completely new to the game. Not challenges, not odd secondary objectives through the events, not double Bp, not new cosmetics, or a new dlc... we need a new game mode. It doesn’t have to be majorly different from the game as is now. Maybe like a timer gameplay. You have a certain amount of time you have to survive/kill until the gates are able to be opened. The longer you stay alive, the more bp you get. You could even have a single player game mode that gives you an automatic half of the maximum bp you can get from a normal game (32k). It will also give you some xp. It is just a way for survivors to practice looping. It’s a 1v1 chase between a survivor and killer. All they do is get into a chase on a normal map and it is timed. When the survivor is downed another round will start. There would be like 3 rounds. That’s off the top of my head but it would help keeps things interesting
-
I used my wraith for this. Put on my a build to carry survivors to the basement and when I needed monstrous shrine I just took my 4th perk slot out for it (which was bbq)
-
I’m a nice killer sometimes

A US holiday; it's a celebration where people think about all the good things in their life and appreciate them. Specifically family, home, and food.
It has it's basis in Christianity, but it's not a religious holiday per se.
It doesn’t have basis in Christianity. It’s a US holiday, because it was a tradition with early settlers and the native Americans after the cold winter that they would have a feast, play games, and celebrate thanks. The natives and wary settlers would trade (fairly) and the settlers were helped by the natives to survive through the winter. Many wary settlers died in the first winter. Therefore as ancestors of those who first settle in the americas and some of us (me) who have ancestors of the tribes take a day of respect in tradition to do the same. We eat, play/watch games, and enjoy a of appreciating those you love. It’s a beautiful holiday
