Just an initial suggestion:
Spirit becomes Purple but also adds the negative that his TR is no longer suppressed. (Windstorm becomes an Iri)
Blood incurs a -35% movespeed penalty (115% movespeed while cloaked), trades speed for tracking.
That would make both addons basically worthless. Spirit is mostly fine blood is the only one that needs tweaking. Personally I would add somewhere between a 10-15 second cloaked requirement time to the blood to prevent you from being able to use it multiple times to end a chase in 30 seconds.
And I would also swap the rarity.

Or give Survivors a method to de-cloak the Wraith that's Independent of a Flashlight/Firecracker.
But he could get the Myers treatment where the All Seeing Addons reduce cloaked Movespeed.
There already is a method. If a cloaked wraith messes up and stands too close to a pallet he gets stunned for much longer than a normal pallet stun. And is forced to uncloak.
-
What you need to take into consideration is that for every 1 time a zombie puts pressure on a gen there will be a dozen times where the zombies wander in dead zones, get stuck on literally anything, or just not attack a survivor despite them being close enough to touch em. And this combined with the fact that zombies get even worse on bigger maps. Nerfing one of the only situations where zombies are useful would gut nemi.

I don't agree, i've been avoiding them better and better, the key is just to always keep in mind that they can have it, like DS.
If you do that and hear the noise when they drop it, it's not hard to get out of the way at all.
What your Wraiths hadn't done yet is encounter it enough times to start adapting.
Got a question. Is it better to try to just run away from the thing or get behind a wall or object.

Michael Myers without a doubt. Other killers may jumpscare me time to time but even when I see him coming Michael freaks me the ######### out

If you mean "can you go for 12 hooks and potentially win/get an average of 10 hooks", not even remotely. If you mean "don't hardcore camp, tunnel and mass-slug right from the start," then yes. In fact, those are usually very bad plays that require specific circumstances to actually work in. Seriously, they don't help.
As for survivor... We're apparently all squeaky clean and can do no wrong. I never get called out for predropping pallets, holding W, using strong perks, etc. I get that killers can shut down any real gameplay, but come on - so long as I don't BM, I can be as much of a ######### as I want. That doesn't seem fair, especially given how much I use Lucky Break, Iron Will, OoO, strong medkits, DS, BT, the new Flashbang perk, Head On, etc.
Don't use flashlights much. Maybe that's why I'm so cute and forgivable?
If it makes you feel better since I’m a wraith main I despise that goddamn flashbang
-
Like other people here have said there’s no set in stone definition of “fair” and if I had to guess the reason streamers discourage attempting to “play fair” is because when people lose if they want to find something to blame for losing that isn’t them they’re gonna find something no matter how you played.
-
Console simply isn’t ready yet. As soon as they get things running properly again they can bring it back. But people shouldn’t get punished because the devs are bad at optimizing
-
I don’t mean this in a rude way but this discussion seems kind of pointless to me. Personally I think tunneling is completely valid and can make a huge difference in a match. But the simple fact is that in this situation you’re killing 1 person as fast as possible. Expecting people not to get annoyed by being quickly removed from a game that they typically have to wait a long time for is kind of ridiculous.
-
Personally I feel a lot of the creepiness of the back rooms comes from the lack of information about them. So being able to fully explore a back room based map while also knowing exactly what is in there with you would kill the vibe the back rooms have.
-
If you’re a killer like Demo who has easy access to an alternate attack you can gain stacks and never lose them. If you play a killer like doctor or clown you can drastically reduce the distance survivors get from you hitting them which is one of their biggest weaknesses. And if you play slinger specifically you can just annihilate people. Basically it’s a solid choice on any killer that isn’t an instadown or huntress.
-
Lol no
-
It’s been disabled because of how much crashing there is on console right now. When/if they fix it for console it’ll probably be turned back on
-
Personally I think the perk is fine. It does exactly what it’s supposed to nothing more nothing less. That being said though it’s not like I would be boycotting the game if it got some minor buffs.
-
While this was probably either for venting or just for bait doctor is fine where he is.
-
It’s an interesting idea. But to balance out the complete lack of sight this killer would need to be the fastest, most lethal, impossible to loop killer if it finds you. And I don’t think BHVR could pull it off
-
I definitely am a fan of some of these ideas. Only ones I’m curious about. If a tormented survivor takes another survivor from a cage would it still cure torment under the effect of that addon? Also when we say tremendously reduce oni’s cooldown what % were you thinking for that? And lastly I don’t think giving nurse any more blinks is a good idea.
-
Only bad thing about hawkins is wraith moves so fast he just jumps right over the holes in the cat walks and in the upside down rooms.
-
He’s without a doubt better in chase now. But he’ll always be held back since he has no map pressure
-
Deathslinger is possibly the best example of poor design in the game rivaled only by twins. People have recommended that before but the thing about slinger is he’s in such a weird place balance wise that if he got buffed at all he’d be op and if he got even the slightest nerf he’d be awful

Yeah, because Rancor shows up to obsession, so I wouldn't mind if NOED showed up too. It would be little annoying to use Devour hope with it tho, because it would negate any chance to reach 5 tokens without survivors to know with ranged killers.
Rancor isn’t just exposed tho. It’s a heads up that the killer can instakill you. Also it’s not a hex.
-
One you just get stabbed and it’s over. The other you get turned into a human pretzel on a stick. Easy choice for me

I struggled with succeeding at skill checks. Poor teammates would get found so easily because of me blowing up gens. Now I get great ones more often than good ones. Also almost 1800 hours in and I still struggle with finding the second floor on any map with a second floor
That certainly makes me feel better about it
-
To my knowledge Steven king is very much NOT a fan of Stanley kubrick’s adaptation of the shining. So I don’t know how on board he would be with that version of his story being put in a video game.
-
I definitely am not a fan of bloodlust but the game simply isn’t ready for it to not exist yet. Just look back to when they disabled bloodlust for like 2 days and all the problems that caused.
-
I’m just salty about not being able to get an endgame build to work after trying for a couple hours don’t mind me
-
Honestly I think these two things are a lot more similar than people here are saying they are. Both are the players doing their objectives as efficiently as possible, Both are met with frustration by the other side, and both are caused by poor game design/balance.

What's up with BBQ rework/nerfs suggestions suddenly everywhere.... xD It's fine, give that perk a break.
Simple. Low rank survivors lose pretty often. They get into the endgame and BBQ is an extremely common perk they see. Since they can’t accept the L they then think “oh I’m only losing because of this perk so it’s op” and then they go on the forum and complain.
-
Nah starstruck is fine
-
Tunneling in my opinion is a perfect example of the devs incompetence while balancing this game. With the way this game is the killer has no reason not to tunnel unless they feel like being nice. If the devs would just add something to the game that basically says “hey you didn’t tunnel have a cookie!” Then tunneling would definitely be a more rare thing. And yet after all this time we have nothing.
-
Don’t get me wrong. I 100% am not a fan of noed. But I cannot remember a time past green ranks where having noed got the killer a 4k. Also as a side note I think it would be better if it functioned similar to BBQ where you gain a stack every time you hook a unique survivor. And then in endgame you lose a stack when you 1 shot somebody
-
It’s not a buff. The reveal mechanic is just as consistent as hitboxes

A lot of people have been comparing him to Plague, and how it’s unfair that she doesn’t give a speed boost, but he does. The major difference is that Plague can take MUCH longer to injure survivors than Nemesis does. If a survivor is on a decent loop, it can take a lot of vomiting to get them fully infected. When Nemesis hits a survivor, that’s half the work (and only needs to hit survivors 3 times at a max of 4 times a game), and will absolutely have the potential to injure faster than Plague, as his power works as an anti-loop. Plague’s vomit is not an anti-loop power, so there is no comparison.
I think Plague is stronger than Nemesis, but to say he shouldn’t give a speed boost because Plague doesn’t is absurd.
I will say though a speed boost upon infection makes me wonder why they even bothered adding a short hindered effect to it

Looking past what happened with the map. I wouldn’t say this is the worst chapter ever. I just expected better, for whatever reason.

And most the time it's not because the player has good aim either. You can see clearly that Huntress will throw aimlessly many times and still get the hit. Ever been struck by a hatchet from across the damn map? And while you are running and not just repairing or something
To be honest though if a huntress is hitting more than 1 cross map snipe in a single match you probably have bigger problems in that match than the hitbox size
-
slinger for me. Especially when you can tell he has monitor and abuse
-
First off, Welcome back to the forums.
To answer your question the only way I think wraith could’ve replaced ghostface is wraith is probably the best stealth killer now. But other than that it depends if you prefer fast stealth or 1 shot stealth.

This is also correct, but LY was plagued with setback after setback and Hide or Die didn't work out. Resident Evil Resistance also died off fairly fast.
Identity V, mobile only and only attracts teenage girls as a result who only play Survivor because they can play with their friends.
Home Sweet Home... they added a Thai Youtuber as a Survivor. I don't think it will get better.
yeah it’s such a shame. This game has the potential to be so much more than it is.
-
Honestly rarest for me would be spirit. Idk what happened but I’ve seen like 4 spirits in 2 months.
most common would probably be bubba.

They won't suffer if they keep up their Twitter thing and getting more licenses. People need to spread how BHVR works around the industry so nobody wants to sell to them.
The only thing that could make BHVR step it up at this point I feel is competition. BHVR owns their genre and they know it. So they lack that incentive to make the game the best it can be.
-
@tippy2k2 said:
At this point, there's no use getting mad. It is clear BHVR is more interested in pumping content out than making sure said content works. It's unfortunate as I'm sure most players would agree this game DESPERATELY needs a content break so they can fix all the stuff that is broken but I'm not going to hold my breath for it.
BHVR is what they are. Like the scorpion on the frog's back, it's in their nature to do this, even if it'll make them drown their own game eventually...
It’s just such a letdown. This is the first time I can remember where the main thing I was looking forward to was the killer. With twins and trickster I was more waiting for the buffs and nerfs that came with them but here I was genuinely excited. I guess I had it coming for getting my hopes up

Aaaah I see your point now. Thank you for explaining and not putting me down lol.
Yeah no problem. I definitely agree getting tunneled and camped is very unpleasant but punishment for a strategy isn’t the way to go.

I agree, but I just find survivors had alot taken away for being toxic. (Turned the brightness up, made it so we can't hide in bushes anymore). I play killer, and being killer is way too easy in this game now. Feels very killer favoured.
To put it simply with the games current state the killer has nothing on their side to make tunneling a bad option. Sure you could penalize the killer for doing it. But in some situations tunneling is just the right play to winning the game even if it’s unpleasant. And that’s an easy way to piss people off. But if the devs introduced mechanics that reward the killer for not tunneling then it would give the killer a genuine reason to go after a new target. Without completely removing the option.
-
You would think it’s a simple concept to grasp
-
instead of punishing the killer for camping and tunneling it would probably be more healthy for the game to reward not camping and tunneling

Its better against medkits now, but the thing it does nothing to the keys anymore leaves a bad aftertaste for many people
I honestly feel people overestimate how much franklins can do against a key. Outside of a immersed solo player urban evading until their entire team dies. The only thing survivors had to do to completely invalidate franklins is just pick a spot and drop the thing and now franklins can’t touch it. Honestly I feel new franklins may even be a little more useful against the more annoying key addons like blood amber.

He shouldn’t have collision when cloaked. This would make for much more interesting gameplay than the boring block window or pallet then lunge and hit rinse and repeat.
Doing that would put him in an even worse state than when he had to run windstorm every game
-
I think he suffers from the same dilemma hillbilly does. Sure he’s new and cool but what’s the point when demo and plague can do what he can do better
