But if doesn't tho
It works for me, at least, and realistically that is all I care about. I get great games and have so much fun.
-
I did it, and it bugged. So... Well, that is likely to never happen again. Rofl.
-
For casuals who just want to chill, bro. It works, it really does.

I don't fully understand if you're asking something, but I absolutely agree that survivor play can often be a relaxing experience. Lots of ups and downs in one match. While the killer experience is not chill at all and is stressful the entire match. But they have fast queues, unique powers, and more bloodpoints. Pros and cons.
It depends. I feel more stressed playing survivor, actually. Fighting for my survival with survivor mains as my only help is akin to literal torture.

I posed a question and your response was to be defensive and not even attempt to answer it, well done.
Actually, I was wrong, the truth is... I would tunnel if only I could tell who I already hooked. That is the only thing stopping me, I watch them on hook, and then... Poof. They disappear. If only I could tell their hook stage to continue my tunnel, but the magical barrier prevents my powers from activating and I have never tunneled before despite an immense desire to be one of the cool kids.

Leatherface players are so wholesome and the best DBD players. I want to have their babies, please and thank uwu.

That’s because half the killers in this forum get carried by camping and are hoping it doesn’t ever get actually punished. Instead they just blame the survivors rather than bad game design
No, I do not blame survivors for giving me free kills when I camp. I am glad such skilled players can carry me to lots of bloodpoints while I do nothing. Ez.
-
How the hell are Lightborn and Agitation gimmicks? Bruh, your build is trash if you aren't including these perks. Outdated boomer builds are a thing of the past. You need VALUE.
-
Nah, if someone compared me to a survivor main irl, we bang on the spot. We don't play around with that, cuh.
-
Well, yeah, nothing else the survivor can do but look at me facecamping them. I guess they could circle their camera and look at their teammates doing nothing instead, but ultimately, when you hit them on hook, that tends to get their attention back on you.
-
Are you calling survivors hypocritical? Wow, such a toxic killer main. My 4 man swf would gg ez rofl stomp you into the correct mind set, bro. 4v1 us.
-
Sluzzy ushered a new era of subtle trolling... Why though? Nothing about him was subtle. This is a disgrace to the man, the myth, the legend.
-
No reason to leave high mmr games, it will end in less than 5 minutes unless you decided you wanted out before the first minute passed...

@Xendritch said:
Why would this make killers not tunnel? If anything I would think it would encourage it even more.
Good question, to bad the people who have that opinion can never seem to explain their reasoning for maintaining that opinion. All I am saiyan is that even flat earthers explain why they feel the way they do. Technically a tier above the "this will encourage tunneling" crowd, if we look at it objectively.
-
I play both a lot and prefer Ghostface against stronger survivors as they tend to be better about kiting when they hear your radius and better at running loops which you can mask.
Against normal survivors, extended lunge and slug/well timed face camp go brr.

Survivor mains don’t believe any of what you listed…
unless maybe they only been playing for like 2 weeks.
Someone hasn't read a NOED thread before. Heck, even killer mains think Np Way Out is the "skillful" NOED despite only one of them giving passive guaranteed value. You learn DBD players are lowkey sussy bakas within 2 weeks of playing, but that NOED torment never goes away, fam.

It's because late nights tend to have more 4man swfs. And most killers don't want to get bullied so they stop playing.
I'd suggest if you get a match, and you win, don't harass the killer. Give him or her a gg and words of encouragement.
God bless killers that play late. Bless them.
I do not need blessing, I do it for the queue times, fam. It is my only choice. Rofl.
-
Leatherface, easily. They can spin, duck, whatever it is survivors desperately do to get out of your fov, just swipe your chainsaw of love and destiny through their soon to be corpse.
-
Bro, all I can say is if you care about what survivors think... You are going to have a BAD time.
-
The irony is that if they murdered this game, they are actually killer mains.
-
Nah, if you want out of the game, come to Papa.

No, we need to spam as many posts as possible about how overpowered Lightweight is. I mean seriously guys. Lightweight is the most broken perk of all times. Get rid of it.
This is not Call of Duty, Mr. Hater of Christmas. In DBD, there are only two must run perks. flip flop and Lightborn.

BT in my opinion is made to deter the killer from going after the person just unhooked. As a killer main I will tell you this. If you have BT and you body block me from chasing the unhooker... I will tunnel you down and wait out your DS.
Don't weaponize a defensive perk.
Wait out their DS? Screw that, I eat it because I am hard committing to them regardless. Hell if I care.
-
Lightborn should counter flip flop. That would be for the best, Grandfather Crack Pipe.
-
NOED is just the skill based No Way Out.

I would have to say, whether it's on purpose or not, the sandbagging teammates are the most annoying. I would rather you hide behind a tree all match than appear just in time to block me from vaulting.
Otherwise, it's the stuff like griefing and teaming with the killer, but that's more than just annoying.
Am I sandbagging you, or are you just running the killer incorrectly? Why run to a vault I am blocking, bro? Not a very good idea...
-
Lightborn is the best perk in the game because it makes survivors angry, think about it. Or don't, it really doesn't matter because I will be out there in the trenches ruining their fun.

A Desert Eagle. Why not?

I still disagree. Again, telling someone to kill themselves isn't the same as clicking a flashlight.
But why? I mean, seriously? What is the difference? If you just want to belittle someone's response to toxicity, why is this such an abstract difference that merits distinction? Do you actually have a reason, or is it the fee fees?
-
@IronKnight55 said:

I have to disagree. Getting upset that someone clicked a flashlight is crazy.
Okay, then for the sake of consistency, I will argue someone getting upset that a stranger told them to kill themselves is also crazy. You can't just cherry pick situations to fit your narrative. Toxicity is based on some objective and understood criteria, or it is subjective and depends on the person taking offense. One of these makes sense, my perspective. The other does not, one where you arbitrarily decide what is or isn't offensive on other people's behalf.

Eh...
As much as I enjoy this game, I don't think anyone could credibly argue that it's well balanced or that BHVR don't make silly, ill-advised or straight up terrible design decisions - or that they treat balance on both sides evenly.
Killers that were 'B' tier at best at intermediate-high MMR get nerfed because they are overperforming at low MMR (Wraith, Cenobite). However, killers struggling at low MMR don't get buffed because of concerns about high MMR balance (Nurse is the biggy) and some killers get nerfed seemingly because BHVR felt like it (Hillbilly, Deathslinger). This double standard is one of the reasons why people frequently call BHVR 'survivor sided' - in that they care more about the enjoyment of survivor players than killer players. And while I don't fully agree, I do think there is some truth to this. I cannot think of another explanation of why there were straight up infinites still in the game until maybe a month ago or why CoH, Dead Hard and the like which are so overpowered that they artificially restrict survivor choices remain untouched - or even get defacto buffs.
They aren't quite as bad or as stubborn as they once were, but they still have miles to go.

The game is genuinely well balanced, as a whole. The issue is when you move toward outliers which is where most people discussing balance are. They are newer players getting destroyed or high mmr players where the balance is skewed. In that middle sweet spot, the game is just how they want it to be. Behavior is not inept, they just do not value balance at the levels of play most commonly discussed from us, the vocal minority.

Words don't really affect me either. There is a difference between clicking a flashlight and telling someone to kill themselves, though.
Exactly, because it is subjective... You could do either to me and I wouldn't see a difference, because I do not care. What doesn't make any logical sense is to attribute more "toxicity" to one action over the other when the person offended is the one who needs to determine that for themselves.

So toxic. "How dare they click a flashlight at me!!". lol
I mean, you could water any toxicity down in the same way, "getting offended by words? Ha ha." Like???
-
Can we talk about how unfair it is that the server only cares if you drop a pallet or dead hard? Why wouldn't they add validation to vaults? What are they so afraid of? It is a fair and balanced mechanic, correct?
-
No, vault validation or bust.

Bait title + a picture with no context.
Typical.
You can't prove you didn't play toxic nor can you argue that a single survivor from a total of four means that killers are being bullied.
Spin it however you want, but this just looks like a typical game to me. Nothing new.
I mean, yes, that was his point. This is the typical experience and that is why less people want to play killer. You would need to genuinely not care which is apparently easier said than done for most people. I see one of these psychos? I laugh it off and move on. But it seems to bother some killer mains for whatever reason. I can vaguely tell why, if someone acted like this irl, I would definitely start something over it. This is not irl, though. It is some weird delusional survivor main...
I have no clue how people enjoy this game without being able to accept that the playerbase acts this way. It is something I learned to accept the week I started.
-
No, this is one of the easy challenges that lets me focus on the actual match. It takes like 2 seconds to sabo a hook.
I mean, I guess I wouldn't care if I needed to be by the killer. It might get me caught out more and dead sooner, but if that is what you want... It would be easy enough to kill myself on hook and move on to the next.
-
Nah, they can postpone the one after Chapter 23. I want me some Ringu, boi.
-
I do not think it would help... Signs need to be read in order to be understood, after all. Ayy.
-
Just do gens its not that hard
-
I, personally, think Insidious is a waste of a slot. They already know I am there. Or at least they should.
-
I have been playing Jenshin Impact so much and coming back to killer while being rusty is way more annoying than just queueing for survivor. Once I get back to DBD as a main game, I will be back to killer 90% of the time.
-
Spirit is a psychological horror killer... For the killer player. I mean, people literally just disappear. Pretty meta.
-
I mean, it isn't as aggressive as his moan when he bends over, but I accept him for who he is.

Revealing Ghostface half of the time doesn't work.
It doesn't have to be a m1 killer to be anti loop. Billy isn't a m1 killer and isn't anti loop per example.
I just mean that they gut fun powers, so I would prefer a boring anti loop killer because anti loop will always be viable.

So you'd rather have a strong boring and unoriginal killer than a weaker killer with an original fun power? Legit curious
I mean, if the power was actually fun. But most m1 killers do not really have a "fun" power as they limit them so heavily. The ideas are great in concept, but all of the counterplay makes them completely worthless.
Like, if Ghostface was a true stealth killer, I would have so much fun. But all they need to do is partially stare at you from half a mile away and you have no power. Well, except for the bags.
