    Killers need a buff lol.
The problem is, there are too many survivors and way too less killers.
Thus killer lobbies are filled within seconds, while survivor have to deal with 200 ping.

But if killer are so laughably easy to play and gain so much more points, why there are so few?
I would like to hear your guess...

    SWF

People pick up the game as a party game to play with friends. You can't do that with killer.

If you are not the one that got caught first, do gens… "punish the killer"... enjoy the free escape … jump into the next match.

And I stop asking for killer buffs, when we reached a balance state of the game.

Pretty plz stop lying to yourself; every complain about "camping and tunneling" is a cry to Devs to "fix it".
Just look at the upcoming patch. A killer that has trouble actually down someone. An anti-tunneling killer, because survivor asked for it.

How do you want to remove "tunneling and camping" without crippling the killer and just downright FORCE them (with ingame mechanics) to play stupid and unefficient?
If you actually outright deny that there is ever a legal situation where tunneling and camping is a necessary tactic, we can stop right here and we just admit that you just want more safety nets and training wheels.

    Alright firstly...

The rush gens, I explained above. If survviord rush gens

    1) we get penalized in points for not unhooking

    2) its not nice for the guy on the hook

    3) its boring doing gens and feels bad leaving the guy on the hook without helping

There are legit reasons for camping at certsin times yes.

If all the gens are powered and someone goes on hook, they're getting camped. That's fine.

If theres 1 gen to go and its 99% done and a survivor gets hooked next to it, they're getting camped and thats fine.

What I'm talking about here is honestly hand on heart almost every game today has been this kind of camping...

Shortly into the game someone goes down. They get hooked, and the killer thsn never steps more than 20m away from that hook.

Thats it. Almost every game. Full on camping right off the bat.

Its awful. Truly awful. Its not fair on the other people playing the game at all.

Honestly if they nerfed survivor perks but in return managed to stop camping I'd take it in a heartbeat. Its a win-win surely?

Since the PTB is totally packed with killer buffs, right?^^
Oh it is not... my bad. :D

No but clearly from the outcry they'll have to rework Legion entirely or drown in a sea of tears.
  • Honestly wolf do you have problems with reading comprehension? Not trying to be mean just need to know if I need to explain myself better because I keep repeating this but you don't seem to get it.

I'm not always "the one caught" so STOP giving me your "get good" speech.

Let me say it clearly for you..

    IT.IS.BORING.EVEN.WHEN.OTHER.SURVIVORS.ARE.GETTING.CAMPED.

    1) SURVIVORS.GET.PENALIZED.FOR.NOT.UNHOOKING.WE.ARE.DENIED.HOOKS.ALL.GAME.

    2) WE.HAVE.AN.EMOTION.KNOWN.AS.EMPATHY.WE.FEEL.BAD.FOR.THE.PERSON.ON.THE.HOOK.WHO.CAN.NOT.PLAY.THE.GAME.

    3) IT.IS.BORING.HOLDING.M1.ON.A.GEN.

You understand now? It's not always me caught, but us survivors don't like to see a teammate camped.

I'm going to be honest I really don't like you. You defend canping and tunneling and say its the only way to win at every turn regardless of the evidence. Not trying to be mean but you repulse me. I really don't want any further communication from you. Hopefully this forum has a block list.

Oh and fine survivors wont ask for dev help anymore. Im assuming you'll stop crying for killer buffs too then? Noed, healing changes, constant buffs for individual killers etc etc

I mean nobody is even crying for buffs. We'd just appriciate it if the game didn't end upon the first hook.

    That's basically every survivor complain.
Survivor want killer to play stupid and by their set of made up rules.

    Lmfao.

Killers *sits around hook until survivor is dead*

Also killers *why do survivors disconnect and get salty so much?"

Here you are again defending your disgusting playstyle
  • Typical killer replies.

"Waaaaah i cant win aany other way waaaaah!!!"

So just have a guy do a gen, get caught, then stare at a hook for 2 mins until hes dead.

The rest? Just sit on a gen holding m1 for 5 mins. So much fun.

Dont you worry im done. Wont be touching it anymore.

Funny how you newbies try to justify it as if its this amazing strategy you've thought of. Newsflash kids, camping has been a thing in videogames for ages and its always had an extremely negative reputation.

I've just never played a game befofe where it's literally 95%+ of matches.

"Waaaah but survivors get all the buffs!! Killa too weak!!!"

How about you just get good? Rather than camp?
  • Lmao killer mains crying because they cant camp with him.

God forbid any of you play the game properly.
  • Even the developers admitting it's a problem so you're wrong. No debate, you're wrong.

I'm interested how loosely they interpret "working together" as well. I mean I was on trapper and a random feng kept pointing at bill. I hooked them both but when they got rescued and I had to pick one I decided on bill since I figured if she was doing that it was probably for a good reason, I would've just been picking one randomly after all. In after game chat I decided to throw feng to the exit gate and let her live because honestly I just found her pretty funny with her goofing around. Now the bill and another accused me of working together with the random feng I didn't know and reported me for it.

Now is this really reportable? She was a random person I didn't know that was acting goofy and I decided to have fun playing along. I feel like the real "working together" is more referring to people that actually know each other and plan it out to have an advantage in games and screw everyone over.

(Real reason I find out in after game chat for her pointing at him was that he was spamming racial slurs at them all randomly before the game started)

@Peanits Is this actually something I can get banned for randomly doing? I did not think so but I won't if it is and happens to show up again.

If you hooked them both like that, I'd be more inclined to think that you're not working together. When you then go for the Bill instead of the Feng and give Feng a free escape, that's where it starts to get messy. Although we can see pre-game chat as well as post-game chat, so we'd probably notice what they said anyway.

We basically review everything case by case. If we have doubts, we're not going to ban you. But if it's clear you're working together, we'd probably let it slide. Of course if you get reported for doing that a bunch, that's a different story.

Getting back to the OP, yes, it is reportable. Killers are not allowed to work with the survivors to kill someone else. If you see it, be sure to report it in-game and if you manage to grab a video of it, you can send a ticket to https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us under "Additional Player Report Information".

You don't have to record every match, we don't expect you to. But you may already have something that can retroactively record something in case something happens. Depending on your graphics card, you might have Shadowplay or Relive. Windows 10 also comes with a recorder built in that you can access by pressing Windows + G. There's a couple other options out there as well if you don't have any of those. If you're on console, you'll also have a similar feature built in. Basically they're always recording and deleting the footage you don't end up using, but if you see something you want to record, you just press a button and it'll save the last X minutes.

    Wait a second..
As a Killer I have often the situation where 2 survivors are alive and one is doing gens while the other is hatch camping. I always try to kill the hatch camper and reward the gen worker for trying with the hatch escape instead. I hate hatch campers so much. So that's reportable aswell now? I thought as a Killer I have the complete power role and can completely decide by my own who dies and who escapes if I have the decision
I was doing gens and unhooking people. I only stopped when it was obvious they were working together.

He picked her up, let her wiggle out, and she never got hit. Pretty obvious whats happening at that point. Plus with Bond I could see her doing the point and beckon animations to him.

Some survivors will work with the killer though if it means they get to escape.

But its meant to be survivors vs killers not survivors vs survivors AND killers.

Even sadder when its a high rank trying to get in to games with smurf accounts. This game is just full of toxic bullies who set out to ruin the game for everyone else.
What's up with that smurf thing? I was at a friend's house trying to teach them how to play Killer and there was a 4 man SWF group playing as Claudette. One of em were purple rank and the rest were rank 18-19. They literally bullied my friend so bad he didn't even consider keeping the game downloaded. People really do the most just to look good against new players it makes me sick. Now I see why new players never stick around.
Exactly. I got it too on my third game.

Funny enough I stayed low rankish this month so i could play with my garbage killers like pig, LF and myers etc....well myers aint garbage but none of them have any good perks. Just your basic level 1 junk perks.

I've seen a number of these groups come in. Last second switching to flashlights and decisive. Instaheals, coldwind offerings, one or two of them are always really high rank and they run clicking their flashlights. I camp them out Leatherface style and they cry so much salt.

They want to play toxic and bully other people but don like it when they get bullied in return.
  • Ok it happened again. Same person as earlier except they were using Myers this time.

I did gens. All 3 were hooked at one point and i ran around and unhooked 2 while one of them unhooked the third. Saved them so many times, did gens, and at the end the killer lets the last Feng go and gets her to run around pointing out my location.

struggled to take screenshots cus i kept pressing the wrong button :(

Here she is just stopping the "come here" animation to Myers

Pressed PrtSc instead of f12 accidentally so missed her doing the point animation to my location

Now here you can see he's come from behind the hay, meaning hes walked right past her because he doesnt care

Tried to run back to get them both in same SS. He ignores her and comes around the hook for me.

in some of them she has just stopped the "come here" animation to Myers. Missed the part where she was pointing at me cus i pressed prtsc instead of F12.

Now I have to change my steam name due to ingame harassment. HOW ABOUT YOU ######### HIDE SURVIVOR NAMES FROM LOBBIES? is this going to be the first game I've ever played where I have to record every ######### game because your community is so toxic? it's like ######### russia where everyone needs a dash cam.

What an abomination of a community.

Oh and another disconnect from me. Yay for the stupid ######### depip penalty. Don't stay in the game and get harassed = lose 2 pips. What a ######### ridiculous idea.

  • Ok new example just now.

Using Myers in tier 3. Down the obsession meg (decisive), their SWF mate nea sits on the last gen pops it, both get their adrenaline crutch as expected, chase nea, down her, hook her and shes dead, hear the door beeping behind me, turn around and down meg just before tier 3 ends. No hooks nearby so I have to take the decisive, during the stun she taps the door it opens and escapes.

Then cries at me about "gen camping" whatever that is.

Like is there even a point in playing when survivors have so much BS?

The DS is unfair on the rest of the survivors. Because DS always gets left alone until the end and DS obsession always makes it out.

At least make Enduring an early unlockable ffs. You need like 2000 hours to get all perks on all killers its ridiculous.

And I dont get how some people try to pretend nobody takes it anymore. Its in almost every single game I get. Often 2 of them. Sometimes 3, rare cases 4.

Its not the fact they escape. If a survivor escapes good for them. Its the fact that as killer you feel you can't do anything to stop it. A player should never play a game and feel like they can't do anything about a situation.

    Oh look it happened again.

Switch to P3 claudette with decisive and a flashlight at the last second, and burn a coldwind locket too.

Utter [BAD WORD] garbage game. With the most cancerous community ive ever seen.

I know peole say punish them, but they take sprintburst and then manage to make it around the 50 pallets on the map. Cant really afford to take decisive because it grants them another few loops. Before people say bring enduring, nope becauze of how the #########  game works i cant have enduring unless I put millions on millions of points into whatever character I chose.

So its basically throw the game to punisb this person or let them get away with it. I was running no add ons because i wanted to try a different killer and have ######### perks with this killer.

Again, when they have no fear of the killer because of the stupid mechanics if the game i guess....pretty good job so far.

Would be a shame if the game crashes or if there was some IRL thing needing your attention.
Those flashlight guys need your attention, they want to know that there is a human they can bully. If you simply go afk, they DC most of the time, but sometimes there are some rare individuals that dont get bored tbagging and flashing and afk killer for ages :sarcastic:

I normally get them and go toxic on them. But in this case I couldnt be bothered throwing the game to camp them.

They sprint burst to a pallet, found loads more so I had to cut chase.

Downed them later in killer shack. They hit decisive. I did that trick where you drop them on the stairs but it doesnt work without enduring. This is what DS apologists dont understand. They still mafe it out and onto cowtree and since I was using LF and dont have bamboozle or enduring I had to let them go.

So they got out. Could have got them but would have lost the rest.

Really hate the perk grind. Half of the killers are useless without chase perks.
  • Orion said:

No. Killers are the ones who need the advantage of more information, and SWF clearly shows why it should've remained that way. Camping is not against the rules.

  • Bbq and chili needs to be in the shrine more often. I feel like it would help a lot if there was more incentive to not face camp.
More points to get fresh meat, so to speak.

I hate to be like this, but maybe you should look into altering your playstyle some? Avoid the killer more, and let other people be the decoys more?
Its not me getting camped everygame. Some games yeah its me but often its other survivors.

Why cant people understand that? If someone complains about being camped its not because they're bad players or toxic players who get camped every game.

I have empathy for other people. I dont want to see someone have their game ruined because the killer is a really scummy human being.

Plus we get penalized in points for not unhooking. Then theres the major fact that its boring sat holding M1 on a gen while the killer sits at the other sife of the map on the hook.

I love how people jump to the OP throat calling The_Crusader a killer main because they disagree with them on one point.
The_Crusader as also complained MULTIPLE TIME on the forum about tunneling, camping and the like.
Here's one of his recent thread for example titled "Survivor is unplayable now"
    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/33007/survivor-is-unplayable-now#latest
But sure he is a "Killer main"
Seem more like the people making accusation bias is showing it's ugly head

Lol thank you. I get grief from both sides.

I play survivor and killer a lot. Like most killer mains my biggest gripe is Decisive Strike, it's so bad. I also feel that yes survivor meta perks when stacked across 4 survivors at 16 perks can feel like it's too much at times.

and like most survivor mains my biggest gripes are killers who either never leave the hook or only go terror radius away before running back to tunnel. I also feel NOED boosts bad killers.

Both issues bug me. Killer is fun because it;s very fast paced action and can be rewarding as you have to outsmart the survivors with mindgames. Then it's nice to switch to survivor because it can be tense at times but it's also not an all-out thing as half the time you're sat chilling holding M1 on a gen.

  • What the hell are you babbling about? You're the one doing mental gymnastics here and trying to do so with a pretentious attitude as if it somehow makes you right. That other guy was right about you.

    Lets make this real simple...

    1) This thread is about Decisive Strike in its current form - you admit it shouldn't exist. So we agree on that.

    2) You then use the "well this happened in a movie so it needs to be in the game "cus lore". Which I'm saying is weak and then leaves the game open to have a lot of poorly balanced things in the game for the same reason.

The Freddy idea wasn't convoluted at all. He can control the enviroments in dreams. There's no reason he has to walk around pallets or let them go through exit gates. He makes walls move in the movies ffs lol

Just because something happens in the movie it doesn't need to be in the game.

Omg laurie stabbed michael with glass so it needs to be in the game!!

Well spoiler alert she decapitates him in H20, guess she should be able to mori killers now cus something something lore.

**Yes they have taken liberties but they've also tried to be as true to the lore as possible which everyone with any experience knows.
    **

Besides you admit it shouldn't be in the game so...

Oh where did I say that again?

What I said was that "** it should be in the game but not in it's current format**."

Now notice how I never once said it shouldn't be in the game.

Now one could say there was a simple misunderstanding but you obviously knew exactly what you were typing and either didn't care you'd get caught or didn't think I'd' respond.

I mean Freddy transforms and does many crazy things in the nightmare on elm street series. Should we include them in the game since they're part of the lore? Have him be able to transform into a giant worm? Have him disguise himself as survivors? Have him teleport?

Oh good grief, now you're just plain trolling here with that argument, the characters can't transform due to game coding limitations. Which of course you knew already but decided to throw out that totally ludicrous argument.

You admitted it shouldn't be in the game in its current form. That's the whole point of this thread - Decisive strike in its current form.

But if you're saying its lore then I'm assuming you're taking the stance that it still involves the survivor stabbing the killer and getting a free escape so.....yeah, it shouldn't be in the game.

Sure there are coding limitations now but are you saying that if there wasn't then such abilities should be in the game for Lore reasons?

The lore reasons argument makes no damn sense. Especially not with a killer like Freddy in the game. Pretty sure lore wise he could pull off the Bloodwarden exit gate block at any time if the survivors were asleep since he can manipulate the enviroments in movies. I guess they should make it so that survivors need to be awake to escape Freddy.
  • Yeah for me the balance is somewhere between high tier to mid high tier.

Nurse and Billy are too much and feel cheap. High tier is strong but balanced. Mid high is weak but balanced. Then you have mid low who need a buff and then you have low who is basically playing the game in hard mode.
  • I thought survivors did this anyway?

I've had games where they go out of their way to protect the obsession....even though the obsession wasn't on death hook and I wasn't running any obsession perks.

    Very strange when it happens.

Now see I can use your argument and have it prove my point even better since every game that has a lore based character they use stuff from that lore.

  • The problem is Legion won't be fun.

Is it fun using Legion to vault pallets then slash multiple survivors? Yes.

However how much fun do you think the person will be having when they try to down that survivor and they're basically a huntress without hatchets? Ever tried using huntress without hatchets on the most painful loops of the game? Its not very fun at all.

You can't pretend everything will be ok at low rank either due to 1) SWF groups always bring a high rank or two with them. These people will loop the killer endlessly and 2) Due to rank reset and veterans of the game not playing as often you can still get highly skilled players at rank 15.

We've all been there starting out. Looped all game by someone with 2000+ hours on the game when we're only just starting out. It's incredibly frustrating and it almost made me quit the game.

You can lose and have fun because you enjoyed the game. Going against a good team and 2 hooking everyone probably won't net you a 4k but everyone had fun.

However to have fun you have to feel like you're in with a chance. Feeling like you can never catch survviors because your killer isn't viable or feeling like you're overpowered gets rid of the fun for killer players.

Not every killer has to be Nurse or Billy tier. In fact I think those two killers feel cheap. A high tier killer though? Thats not too much to ask for. Just make it so that the person feels he had a fair chance at winning.

I do think they prioritize fun too much sometimes. I.e. Decisive strike. Would be it be fun and cool as a survivor if you could strike a killer and escale them? Yes. However well done you've now just unbalanced the game and ruined the fun for killers.

Look at other videogames out there. Take Starcraft as an example - its been played for decades now. The balance is what makes it fun. It didn't need Decisive Strike or NOED or Moris or skeleton keys to make it fun. It didn't need any crazy stuff. The balance is what kept people coming back to it. The same could be said for a number of other competitive multiplayer games out there.

I think they want DBD to be that crazy game where anything can happen. Something they said in the last dev stream kinda confirmed this. I have to admit it is appealing in a way. We all have a crazy story about when things looked like they were hopeless snd then someone pulls out a key and all survivors escape, or someone activates Haunted Grounds then the entire team goes down. I get that and it is funny but sometimes I feel it goed a bit too far.
  • You get rid of it because it shouldn't exist in the first place. That's how you balance it.

Deleting a perk doesn't make the game better.
It does if that perk is broken and should have never been in the game in the first place.

  • @KingB That's the thing, a lot of them try to queue to get with low rank killers. It's an attempt at bullying and it's really pathetic.

@powerbats I hate it as a survivor because I know I'm gonna be sat trying to rush gens all game because these clowns are only going to be running around with a flashlight looking for attention.

Theres also the fact that they go down in about 10 seconds most of the time. If you're going to be toxic at least try to be good at it lol I'm always content to leave them on the hook if I get the exit gates open. Then they get salty at me.
  • Have terrortorial imperative and insidious be part of his base kit or add ons.
  • How about this. Lets create a new perk.

Once per survivor, if they drop a pallet and it stuns you, they get frozen in place for a second while you do a skillcheck. If you hit the skillcheck the killer reaches over to grab the survivor and then carries them on his/her shoulder.

If we can have that which is the equivalent, you guys can keep DS. Fair?

They do it in little gangs to try and bully killers. It's really pathetic.

Last second switchers just get tunneled

    Same.

They can waste a fair amount of time though with DS. Plus they'll burn offerings for their best maps and get their mates to bring instaheals.

It's really sad. I know survivors complain about nerfs but they can't have it that hard when so many have no fear of the killer.

Spirit is a guessing game though. They can screw it up.

Thats why you see many her dont user her power in a chase. They walk away from the hook then phase walk back to try and tunnel someone getting unhooked. This is why I hate going against her.

Bilyls chainsaw though I agree with you on that. Far too much payoff for something which isnt really hard to hit with at all given a few simple addons.

Billy's chainsaw does have way too much payoff for very little downsides and is highly forgiving given its radius and animation recovery. Billy is one of the killers I hate facing for this reason, one of the only 2 killers that have me feeling "cheated" of sorts when I go down. Contrast that to something polar opposite of that like the spirit, where it really feels like a fair battle of skill in the mind game and if I go down it's because I was outplayed for sure.

Yeah he's OP. With add ons he just walks behind survivors lining uo the chainsaw and due to the broken hitbox its hard to avoid.

He has all these advantages and no disadvantages.

I dont even like using him because he feels broken. When you use a mid tier killer then switch to Billy its like you've turned Godmode on.

Also I feel the other killers suffer due to him. Hard to keep nerfing loops and pallets for people like Pig, freddy, wraith etc because it just makes Billy even more deadly. I feel if he was brought in line a bit they could do an overrall buff for killers.

If I had to use 6 tiers like you have...

    Top tier
    Nurse
    Billy

    High tier
    Spirit
    Hag

    Mid high tier
    Huntress
    Myers
    Clown

    Mid low tier
    Wraith
    Cannibal

    Low tier
    Trapper
    Doc
    Pig

    Special tier
    Freddy

Like most people, you put way to many killer to high.
    Top tier is ONLY Nurse
The next tier is ONLY Billy.
And from there you can go further.
Personal preferences can vary, but Myers is overrated and Cannibal is a low tier killer, because he has nothing going for himself.
I personally would place Doc higher, but I perform well with him, because I like his PBAoE playstyle... suits me in a lot of other videogames as well.

If I do letter grades then I put nurse as SS and billy as S, but if doing it this way I'll put him with nurse because i consider them both OP.

I think Myers is overrated too but he's a step above the rest like doc and pig due to instadowns.

Same for LF. With a few decent add ons hes better than a number of other killers purely for instadowns. That really adds a lot to a killer. Also his erm..."defence" game is strong.
  • BBQ can be tough especially on Hillbilly. Nothing worse than seeing someone hooked snd you have nowhere to hide then a few seconds later he comes rushing over. A lot of Leatherfaces use it too.

But you know what's scarier than a hillybilly or leatherface wbo comes right for you with BBQ & Chilli?

A hillbilly or leatherface who camps.

I know which one I'd rather face as a survivor any day of the week.

No it wont stop campers being campers but at least it adds some incentive and guidance to get people away from hooks so everyone can have fun.

    Seriously.

If the game isn't lagging unbearably then it's just a tunnel fest.

Before you cry "w3lL dun get c@Ught lol" they stil tunnel other survivors to death.

You get penalized if you don't unhook. Plus its not nice to leave someone on the hook. But you have to. Because every killer walks a little bit away from the hook then quickly runs back to tunnel the unhooked guy before he can get away. Game after game after game this is the strategy of every 9 out of 10 killers.

Its absolutely awful for the person being tunneled and its boring as hell for the remaining survivors.

Dont give me "its a legit strategy" approach. Its garbage and has completely ruined one side kf the game.

They need to make some extreme changes to make this playable again. Its only worth it in SWF or playing killer now.

Oh who would have guessed that?
A survivor main is asking for killer to play stupid.
Why should a killer NOT tunnel and turn a 4v1 into a 3v1 as soon as possible?
Why do survivor always think that killer have to care about their "fun"?

I'm not a "survivor main" at all pal, but oh who would have guessed the guy who gets uppity whenever theres any talk of killers being toxic or being OP rushes to the defence of tunneling yet again.

If you need to tunnel you're a bad player fact.

How about just letting the guy get away from the hook ffs?

    Gets hooked.
Unhooked as the killers already runninf back, 5-10 seconds later down and hooked again
Unhooked, 10 seconds later hooked again.

And you wonder why they disconnect? Because tjat ######### isn't fun. If you're on the hook and you know that the second you get unhooked the killer is going to come running over and knock you down again, wouldnt you just call it a day, disconnect and go to find a better game too?

You always defend tunneling and make it sound like its the only way to win. That combined with your freddy avatar I can really imagine the way you play. Never steps more than 30m away from the hook, has full tunnel vision for the first person hooked.

I put someone on the hook then *gasp* go find a new target. It isn't that hard. BBQ is good, but even without that itd easy to find a gen they're on and just go get someone else. The one being unhooked still needs to heal. The ones doing gens are doing gens....makes sense to slow them down and let the other guy have a little break.

Borrowed Time and bodyblocking? survivors have tools to prevent tunneling but it takes teamwork and minor effort.

But killers cry about bodyblocking and borrowed time?

Besides what use is borrowed time? So they get a short delay on their tunnel hardly stops them. I'm sure the person being tunneled is having a great time being pulled off and tunneled because borrowed time grants them 25 seconds where they can run before dropping dead.

But let me just add it to the list of perks im supposed to take to counter everything survivors hate i.e kindred to prevent camping, small game to prevent NOED, now borrowed time to delay tunneling.

Seriously killers hate it when survivors say "just bring x perk" so please don't do it in return.
  • Lost 60k bloodpoints thursday night
    Ebony mori yesterday
    Green mori just now

Theres no point using good add-ons since it seems it causes the servers to crash

  • The biggest problem new killers have is all these SWF who bring in high rank survivors. People who can't handle high rank so they team up with therir friends or smurf accounts to get into games with low rank killers they can loop all game.

    It's incredibly toxic.
  • Spirit is a guessing game though. They can screw it up.

Lol. Even before this chapter I could count the amount of camping Bbq hillbillies on more than one hand. A camper doesn't need an excuse to camp. It's already in their nature to camp.
Oh, I actually never found billys camping, they were always nice when I had them against. I've seen more LF and Hags camping lately, for the last one.. It hurts see Hag camp
Its funny when hags lay down 5 traps for camping purposes....and then proceed to stand there and facecamp anyway.

Like did you really need all those traps if you were just gonna stand there?

Even Leatherface would think its overkill
  • Yawn here we go again with the excuses.

Survivors are penalized if they don't unhook, how hard is that for some of you to understand? Plus not everyonr is a sociopath, some survivors want to unhook so that the hooked person can enjoy that game. Some of us have empathy for other people.

But again heres the issue - if survivors unhook...WHAT IS THAT TO DO WITH ME???

Like I said - it's only good in SWF. Killer mains moan, cry and whine about SWF but the issue is you make it so thats the only way to play. Because then you can agree not to unhook and let a friend take one for the team. You have ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL over how other survivors behave. So no simply saying "rush gens" isn't a valid excuse.

@ShyN3ko You can't unhook the survivor at all thats the issue because the killer keeps trying to bait. Walk away, come back, walk away, come back. While the other two survivors fall for it and unhook. There is no waiting for a safe unhoom because the killer wont stop that tactic.

Chases are fun? Well thats the entire bloody issue. Only the person being tunneled gets chased. Nobody else does.

@Onionthing none of that is relevant to this conversation at all, none of it is about "getting gud" so take your toxic attitude out of here.

The killer runs x metres away then runs back. The person being unhooked doesn't have a chance to do any of that.

Ok but fine blame it on the survivors. Well if you get gen rusbed thats the killers fault, not the survivors. Get good, create pressure, its that simple.
  • But survivors don't do gens that's the issue. Because either they feel bad about letting someone die on their first hook, or they don't want tk be oenalized for points.

So the killer walks away from the hook a little bit to bait the survviors to unhook, they do it, then the killer runs backto catch the unhooked survivor becore they can get away.

Don't give me this garbage about "rush gens" because you have absolutely ZERO control over what other survivors do. Hence ehy I said it's only worth playing in SWF. Plus there's the fact that its just boring.

And its hard to tell how good the survivor is at looping because they only get 1 chance at it. After the first hook the killer will never let them get away.

Its a garbage toxic playstyle and its about time people that only played killer stopped making excuses for it. Especially given how much you all complain about how survivors play.
  • I used to main Clown. He can be good but you do rely on survivors to make mistakes.

If 4 survivors split up across a large map and rush gens there's little he can do. He just doesn't have the pressure.

Compare that to Billy who can cross the map in a few seconds and instadown people all game. Or hag who doesnt even need to look for survivors, she just teleports to them, or nurse who's....well nurse.

Clown is rather tame in comparison.
  • Unhooks shouldn't grant points or count towards altruism anymore. Survivors should get more points for other things to compensate for this.

Maybe then killers that don't step more than 10m away from the hook wouldn't have such an easy time when survivors decide to attempt an unhook anyway.
