I used to spend close to $400/month on cigarettes for years...
I've bought all the DLCs(minus the twinning chapter) on ps4 and PC. I've also bought cosmetics.
The amount I've spent on dbd is nothing compared to what i've spent on smoking. I'm not too concerned with what I've spent on DBD. If there is something I want, I will buy it. I didn't want the new chapter so I didn't buy it.
I'm only speaking for myself.

Sometimes they end the game so fast by slugging everyone and its frustrating when me and my girlfriend are just trying to have some fun on a game we like.
Its even more painful when they have a build with ruin/undying/tinkerer etc. And they play very sweaty.
Thank god for the undying nerf, because that just gave killers pressure for free and it was just really unhealthy for the game.
Does anyone know why killers like to slug so early and end the game quick? Just ruining the survivors fun?
If i run into 1+ more survivors at any point in the match, I'm going to spread the damage on even if it results in bodies hitting the floor.
Stop hugging each other's butts in the match.

I've played tons of games with "Vocal" communities...One really left a bad taste... Star Wars galaxies...Companies will do what they want

The new modular UI will not go back to the non-modular UI. The non-modular UI can not accomodate the future features they want to add.

Just change your messages to friends only like I did, best decision I ever made honestly. Plus it's always satisfying seeing a friend request after a match and knowing that there's some salty person trying so desperately to say what they want to say and not being able to 😂😂
I eventually settl it up for friends only...ppl started leaving comments on the other games I play🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
I'm wnt go back to ps4 mainly because I decided to move to PC when they first announced the graphics update.

I faintly recall the devs commented on color blind setting before, maybe in a dev stream...I don't remember what exactly was the reason why they are not pursuing colorblind options.

The current UI could no longer support any new features being added to it. So they changed the UI to so that new features could be added to the UI. They have not said what new future features could be added

The same. I've noticed that Community Managers and Devs post comments on the forum less often than a few months ago. Many players rightly criticize the new HUD. But none of the developers even tried to defend the new HUD in the feedback forums. They could explain to us why it is better than the old one. But we get silence.
The devs are not required to comment on the forums as it is not part of their job. From my understanding, Almo and other devs post on their own time(I'm not referring to community managers).

My current life schedule only has so much time for dbd. I left a ton of progress behind when I switched to PC from PS4. Survivor queue times are terrible for the time I play. I need all the bloodpoints I can get.
Full time killer main
My hours on PC for 2020 were less than 400h, just to give an idea of how much time I was able to play.

There is no need to be rank 1 on both sides, unless you suffer from FOMO.

Hey Hey Hey there now, on some killers slugging is necessary. Say they are a Bubba, Oni, or Myers main. Then he'd pretty much have to slug! (unless he's a Bubba main, then only sometimes) Keep that in mind.
slugging is a no no per the survivor's rulebook for killers

I know, as I said in my previous answer my post refers to much more than just the UI.
Hence this part of my post:
"Personally, I'd be happy if the devs spent 6 months fixing outstanding issues and held off on any new content for that timeframe. The rate they release new content has got to be punishing for the dev/testing team and the ever-increasing amount of issues is a real disincentive to play."
@Rydog is right, most companies decide which departments/teams/whatever get money and how much money they get. Getting more money once you have blown throw you budget is...There are decision makers that have more power over the devs and they are the ones usually hiding in the shadows rubbing their hands together...
