Match making is broken. The devs mentioned in the 4 year stream the new match making system should come out soon. I want to say maybe July if i remember.

This skin is more than the entire dlc.
Perhaps the protest is in an effort to limit the skins use and subsequent purchase of those skins to encourage bhvr to give a better value to these $15 "Legendary Skins"
Should ppl be tunneled for having an opinion though. The liked what they bought.

i'm no expert or pro but i'm ok. I have lost the doctor during a chase before but then he uses his power to cheaply spot me again and another chase commence. The doctor is just not fun to play against. It's god awful.
I know this perk isn't considered top tier but if i can laugh at the doc player cause his cheap trick isn't giving him my location instead of being a smart killer then it's worth it.
Unfortunately escaping chances are low cause all day long during a match i just hear my teammates screaming and blowing up generators since not only does your location get revealed but skill checks are a pain. Especially on the Switch at a rough frame rate and skill checks that stutter have of the time.
The problem is meta perks, 99% of the time, they work VS the killer you get. Then you run into the 1% of killers who try different things and bam screams of OPness...

I actually want to play with PH somemore, but his blood point generation feels slower, and i really need to get my bloodpoint gain on.

I've only played the map as pyramid head. Sometimes i feel like a security guard walking the school after hours.
From a Sensory perspective, I ❤ this map.

I've been playing him perkless, slowly climbing out of PC brown ranks, just to get used to him. He is not OP. On ps4, i could play perkless spirit at red ranks and still do well most of the time. I don't think I could do the same performance with perkless PH at red ranks.
His ranged attack feels off somehow. Unlike billy, nurse, spirit, freddy... PH can't traverse the map quickly. He does have zoning going for him.
I 4k'd with him, but it's against other brown ranks that are probably new to the game going by their teir 1 crappy perks.

It is pretty clunky
So, my drunk/potato ass was trying to control the aim of the ranged attack with the 'a' and 's' keys...i'm used to a controller and console performance...It feels better than before now that realized my mistake. Ranged attack feels better now, but it still seems slow to trigger...I am drunk though 😂

I'm trying to leave trails in the middle of pallets and by windows, in the middle jungle gyms, in the middle of the shack...places where if they are in a chase, they can't avoid it.

I feel like I'm am just above avg killer on ps4. I don't know how many hours I have but i've been playing since 2018. I like to shoot tequila when I play so that probably brings me down a bit 😂
I just started on PC, but I feel like I'll be a better killer on there because of the quick response of the mouse and the fps. Missing M1 attacks seems to happen more on ps4 than on PC. Tracking survivor movement with the mouse feels way better.

In all honesty - even the DEVS know it's impossible for it to be accurate and based on skill. Hence why they literally said they are prioritizing "fairness" last in the MMR, with latency being the first determining factor; but okay.
The devs make the game and they make the rules. They can make an MMR system based on whatever they define as winning/scoring.
As a simple example, they could make a MMR system based on escapes or kills...hell they could make a rating system on how many time a survivor tea bags in a match...or a killer hits ppl on the hook per match.
We can launch people into space, but coming up with a MMR system for dbd is impossible...

Nobody, absolutely nobody, is even claiming this move makes Bhvr some type of LGBTQI Activist. The point is that they are addressing something that are changing, I am guessing because they are exploring more of each character's lore. Plus as a private company letting everyone know their stance on issues which may have nothing to do with some people.
I didn't think that BHVR was my "friend" before or after the announcement, but I also don't think they are my enemy. As a gay male, I appreciate that they are making a bold move, that not many video game companies do.

Let me rephrase then, who is actually showing us support? Because pretty much all I see is people paying lip service to the LGBT community, BHVR is going to do something, however minimal it may be. Sure, it's financially motivated, but that's what companies do. I don't expect them to give a ######### if it's no longer profitable, though sometimes they surprise me.

BHVR is not your friend. They are here to make money. They can do whatever they want.
On the lighter side of things, I see comments about connecting with characters. I play pretty much killer these days. I do not connect with any of killers. If i did, i should probably be locked up. I don't even know how i would even begin to connect with demogorgon.
When I did play survivor, I played female characters only, until Ash came out. Ash is the #########. In most games, if the option is available, I will pick female characters. Always have, always will. I'm not a female, I just play female characters in video games.
I enjoyed SW JEDI: the fallen order...my only big issue was why did the main character have to be what appears to be white male red head 😐

Even though BHVR can take away your trusted status, they can't take the impact you've had on the forums.

I did the tutorials for the bloodpoints and OMG, the mouse sensitivity is insane. I'm going to have to get used to that, i may even lower it from the default and slowly increase it.

Do you play any other games on the side? Some nights I don't feel like dbd, so I'll play something else. I have tons of back logged games to help fight the burnout.

The momemt we know how they are determining ratings, we will modify our behavior to influence our ratings. It seems they don't want us to do this and to just fall naturally in place over time.
In a simplified example, If i know X is going to boost my rating, I could just only focus on X now and not care about anything else. If X is to drop 10 pallets every game. Ppl will focus on dropping 10 pallets whether they are in a chase or not.

I would think that matches would feel more consistent eventually as time passes and players fall in to place.
If you are god tier, you will be matched with/against other god tiers. If you are potato tier,which I'm guessing 90% of the playerbase is 😂(i potato), then you will be matched with potatoes.
Matches would hopefully start to feel close, instead of one side getting decimated by the flames of hell.

I really like tge torment mechanic and hope it makes it to other killers in the future, it would fit perfectly with Pinhead for example. Obviously hed need a different way to apply it, but it was a good idea.
Thats not to say every killer should have it. I think they should come up with things like that and apply them to varioys killers and have them do different things
maybe just licensed killers, but then ppl may complain about pay to mini mori...
